Bouquet of sweets for Easter. Ideas for DIY Easter bouquets: from candies, paper and others. What gift to make for Easter with your own hands from sweets

Therefore, such a souvenir in the form of a rose came up by itself. This is just a continuation of my hobby. I suggest you make a beautiful holiday craft for Easter from corrugated paper with your own hands.

For work we will need:

  • Corrugated (floral) paper of any color
  • Hard boiled egg
  • Threads
  • Scissors
  • Flower base (small-diameter saucer, lid, wicker)
  • Green sisal for decoration
  • Artificial rose leaves
  • Taplenta
  • Thermal gun
  • Skewer

Let's start by measuring the height of the egg. Let's roughly estimate how much it is in centimeters and add 1 cm per leg.

Cut out a rectangle with a length equal to the circumference of the egg as tight as the paper. And we have already determined the height of the strip based on the actual size of the egg.

I use corrugated paper in my work, because only it gives the necessary stretching and compression of the workpiece.

Then we need a strip of the same height for the first tier of petals (4 pieces) 2.5 cm wide and the second - this will take 5-6 wide petals. We will make them with rounded edges, bringing them closer to natural ones.

We round off two edges of the rectangle, carefully stretch the upper part of the workpiece with a back and forth motion, and use our fingers to stretch the middle of the paper bud horizontally.

We cut out four rectangles from the strip - the first row of petals, round the top and cut off the bottom at a corner.

Nearby, for comparison, I put a white rosebud made of the same paper, but with candy inside.

We wrap the egg with the middle part of the paper blank, forming a bud. We twist the bottom and tighten it with threads. Cut out 5-6 rectangles for the second tier of petals. They should be twice as wide as the petals of the first tier. They also round two corners at the top and make an oblique cut at the bottom. We twist the rounded parts onto a skewer, achieving a realistic bend of the petal. We also stretch the middle so that the petal “hugs” the egg.

Here is the central part of the flower with the egg (bud) and the petal blanks.

Now we glue each tier one by one with hot glue. The petals can be overlapped as you wish, stretching the middle of the paper.

Instead of hot melt glue, you can use any other universal one. PVA is not your help here - it will wet the paper and prevent you from quickly assembling the flower.

At the end of the manipulations, we formed the actual rose on the stem.

We apply it to the base. We admire it. The result is already visible.

But to finish the work, you need to glue the green sepals (from the green corrugation we cut out long, life-like leaves-spikes).

We decorate the bottom of the rose with sepals and wrap it with tape (optional).

If you don’t have tape, use a strip of green corrugation like sepals.

It was planned that the flower with the egg should stand in a wickerwork. But the appearance of the composition from one flower did not turn out very well, I had to re-do it along the way. The rose is slightly tilted. It is fixed with hot-melt adhesive in a wickerwork decorated with green sisal. Artificial leaves are also glued on.

Here's how the composition will look in a regular kitchen interior:

Why do people give eggs for Easter?

The Orthodox Church has long considered it a good custom give each other boiled chicken eggs of an unusual color. Most popular color - red. Such a gift has ancient historical significance.

The red egg is a symbol of the empty cave tombs, in which it happened Resurrection of Christ. To be more precise, the color red symbolizes color of the Savior's blood, which was used to paint the stone at the entrance to the cave.

There is another version according to which it is customary to decorate and give each other eggs on Easter, with a fairly simple and understandable explanation. Strict fasting prohibits a person from eating animal food, including eggs.

It was very unprofitable for farmers to store eggs for all this long time. That is why they painted eggs in different colors and tried to sell them as quickly as possible by any means. Later, breaking the fast with eggs and giving them to each other simply became a habit.

INTERESTING: An egg painted in a bright color is called “dyed”. An egg painted with paints and patterns is called a “pysanka”.

Traditions and signs associated with the custom of giving eggs for Easter:

  • If a person does not sleep the night before Easter, but prepares for the holiday, in particular painting eggs, this will contribute to his happy and rich life in the future.
  • Before the family sits down to the table on Easter holiday, they should salute their deceased ancestors and eat a boiled egg. Krashenka or pysanka is the first food of animal origin after Lent.
  • It is best to break your fast with a boiled egg and a piece of Easter cake, sacred in the church during the service.
  • On Easter, boiled eggs should be distributed to the beggars you meet on this day.
  • During the service, you should leave one boiled egg in the church, brought from home.
  • There is a sign that if you roll a sacred egg along the backbone of livestock on Easter, the animal will not get sick all year.
  • Under no circumstances should you throw the shells of sacred eggs into the trash bin. In the old days, the shells were crushed and added to the seed grain. Now you can throw it into the garden or under the trees (the shell will serve as a good fertilizer).

The holiday of Easter is celebrated not on any specific day, but according to the lunar calendar. This holiday is a symbol of the victory of good. It preserves the memory of the historical sacrifice of Jesus Christ in the name of all humanity and his sacred resurrection. The holiday is celebrated, as a rule, by presenting each other with Easter cakes and colored eggs, as well as gifts made for Easter - a pleasant gift that will surprise and delight your family.

Easter holiday

Easter is preceded by a seven-week Great Lent. At this time, believers follow certain rules, limiting themselves in food. The day before Easter, on Holy Saturday, people go to church, pray, and bring food to the temple to illuminate it. And on Sunday, once a year, blessed food is placed on the table: Easter cake, Easter cottage cheese and colored eggs.

Saturday gives way to Bright Sunday, and after a seven-week fast you can again eat any food - salads, snacks, cakes, sweets.

If you are going to visit, consider bouquets of candy as a gift option (for Easter). This simple “design” will serve as a decoration for the holiday table.

Gifts for Easter

As a rule, it is customary to exchange colored eggs at Easter. Even in ancient times before Jesus Christ, the egg was considered a symbol of the world, the universe in miniature. Some ancient peoples believed that this was the Sun and Life, and as a sign of worship and respect they

Now this tradition has been preserved. People continue to paint eggs in different ways, but Easter comes after a long seven-week fast, so it is customary to give small gifts on this holiday, like any other. Bouquets of sweets for Easter will come in very handy. Such gifts can be given to women of any age.

You can make bouquets of candies for Easter with your own hands, just stock up on paper that bends easily, wire, glue and, in fact, a box of candies.

Candy bouquets are a great gift

Do you want to surprise your loved ones? To make a holiday gift memorable? Order a bouquet of sweets for them. This wonderful sweet gift will not leave anyone indifferent. You can also give a bouquet of sweets for Easter. It can be very small or huge, for mom, bride or brother. A whole basket, topiary or one delicate flower - there are a huge number of options! Agree, a box of chocolates or a bar of chocolate looks ordinary and banal, but a spectacular gift in the form of a sweet bouquet will impress anyone.

DIY candy bouquets

It is enough to know a little about floristry to create beautiful bouquets of handmade sweets. It is important to be able to control color; everything should look harmonious. A creative and tasty dessert should please the eye, be bright and noticeable.

To create a bouquet you need to make a number of important decisions:

  • Determine the type of composition itself. These can be roses, tulips, snowdrops. You need to start from the preferences of the person for whom the gift is intended.
  • Decide what design will look best. Box, tree or basket, bouquet or topiary.
  • Find out what kind of sweets the recipient prefers and try to guess, because different sweets can be useful to create a variety of flowers. For snowdrops you need small candies, for tulips and roses - larger ones.
  • Think over the decor of the composition. Perhaps it will be butterflies or hearts, ribbons or leaves. Everything is to your taste, the main thing is that it looks harmonious.
  • Buy tools for creating a bouquet (corrugated paper, rhinestones or ribbons).

Making a bouquet of roses

Perhaps the most common bouquet is a bouquet of “Roses” candies. To create it you need:

  1. Corrugated paper.
  2. Scotch.
  3. Glue gun.
  4. Scissors.
  5. Candies.
  6. Wooden stick.

We cut out petals of different sizes, in different colors. We put the candies into the petal and wrap the edges. Then we glue them onto a wooden stick with a gun and continue gluing the remaining petals in a circle. Decorate the resulting rose with petals.

A bouquet of “Roses” candies is a wonderful gift for any occasion.

Whatever gift you give, your attention is always more valuable. And if this attention is accompanied by a handmade gift, it will delight your loved one.

An Easter bouquet can be made from a variety of materials. Moreover, they also use sweets and the main symbol of the Holy Resurrection of Christ - Easter eggs. Let's start with sweets.

Sweet Easter bouquet of candies

What you will need:

  1. White and cream colored corrugated paper
  2. A piece of green tape
  3. Wooden sticks
  4. Scissors
  5. Candies
  6. Stationery transparent tape

You can either buy special chopsticks at a specialty craft store, or use sushi chopsticks.

Step 1

To make one flower, take a shelf and one candy. Connect the blunt end of the stick to the center of the bottom of the candy, wrapping it tightly with candy wrapper. Secure the structure with tape. Without cutting the tape, use it to fold the other end of the candy wrapper over. This is necessary so that the edge of the wrapper does not peek out from the finished flower.

Step 2

To make a rosebud, use crepe paper in white and cream colors. From white paper, cut a strip with sides 6 cm wide and 16 cm long. From cream-colored paper, make a slightly larger piece - 6 cm wide and 34 cm long. Stretch the smaller piece along the edges to increase its length. Corrugated paper is designed for this purpose, pull carefully and don't be afraid to tear it. An Easter bouquet made of corrugated paper looks especially elegant and naturalistic.

Step 3

Place the candy on the stick on the edge of the stretched paper. Start rolling the paper around the candy to form the main bud. The resulting tube needs to be secured with tape at the bottom. Wrap the tape around the bud several times, first along the edge of the paper, and then twist the tape several times around the stick. Do not cut off the tape. Leave the design on the table and take the second piece of paper.

Step 4

From the second piece of paper you need to cut out rose petals. Make petals of different sizes and shapes. Cut out hearts, but do not narrow the edge too much. Cut out smooth ovals. Stretch the finished petals from above, just as you stretched the first piece of paper. This way you will give the petals a more natural shape.

Step 5

Now each petal needs to be attached to the bud. To do this, connect its edge with the edge of the bud and use tape around the structure. Attach the remaining petals in the same way. Apply the petals alternately from different sides. The more petals you use, the more lush the rose will be. After all the petals are secured, do not forget to once again pass a layer of tape along the base of the flower, smoothly moving onto the stick.

Step 6

Give the flower a more realistic appearance by carefully bending the edges back, just like a real rose would. To decorate the base of the flower, use green tape, which is specially used for wrapping the stems of artificial flowers and tree trunks. With its help, you will hide all the imperfections, tape and give the stick the appearance of a flower stem.

Step 7

Wrap the tape around the base of the bud first, then move onto the stick. The first rose is ready. In the same way, you need to make the remaining roses. Don't forget that Easter candy bouquets, like regular ones, require an odd number of flowers. It’s great if you make at least five roses, or better yet more, because you’ll probably have to give “sweet” roses to family members and close friends.

Easter bouquet of eggs

What you will need:

  1. Brown silk ribbon 6 mm wide (total length about a meter)
  2. Silk ribbon of soft pink color, 12 mm wide and about a meter long
  3. Gold-colored satin ribbon 12 mm wide and a total length of about a meter
  4. Foam eggs 5-7 pieces (tape consumption is indicated per egg, increase in proportion to their number)
  5. Five 3mm beads with a hole or skewers of different lengths
  6. Thin wire for fastening beads

When making an Easter bouquet of eggs, we will decorate each one with flowers using the kanzashi technique.

Step 1

Weave a braid from a brown silk ribbon as shown in the video. Twist the ribbon into a loop and tie a knot, then thread the next loop and continue. When finished, the braid should be 50 cm long.

Step 2

Treat the ends of the tape with fire (use a lighter) and then with hot glue. Cut pieces 7 cm long from a ribbon of the same color. Use hot glue to decorate the base of the egg.

Step 3

Glue the bow crosswise until you cover the entire base. Start gluing the pigtail in the center. This way you will have half of the egg covered and shaped like a basket.

Step 4

Create roses from pink ribbon. Twist the tape and wind it in a circle using glue. First, roll the bud tightly, forming its base, and then more tightly at the base, and less at the edges - this will form solid petals. When the flower is formed, cut off one edge of the tape so that it is not visible, and leave the second 1 cm, apply glue to this edge and attach it to the surface of the egg. To cover the entire surface of the egg, you will need 45 small roses.

Step 5

Cut the gold-colored satin ribbon into pieces 2.5 cm long. You need to form them into leaves. Roll each one into a leaf, glue it inside to secure it, singe the edges a little to remove excess threads. You need to make 45 leaves - exactly the same number as you created flowers before. Glue a leaf to each rose.

Step 6

The surface of the egg on which you will attach the flowers must first be covered with either a layer of tape, gluing it, or with any plain fabric. Pass the wire through the bead. Using a needle, make a hole in the top of the egg. Apply Moment glue to the wire and insert it into the hole.

Step 7

After this, all that remains is to glue the roses onto the surface of the egg. After this, make holes in the bottom of the egg using a needle and, just as you attached the decoration to its top, make four “legs” of beads around the perimeter as shown in the video. This bouquet egg will be a ready-made gift. If desired, you can make five to seven or more of these eggs and put them in a basket in the form of a bouquet. In this case, instead of legs, insert skewers of different lengths through the hole at the bottom. This makes it convenient to arrange the eggs in the form of a bouquet in a basket. Alternatively, you can wrap the skewers in lilac or scarlet colored corrugated paper and tie it with a ribbon.

Easter bouquet of English roses

What you will need:

  1. Round chocolate candies in foil
  2. Skewers or sushi sticks according to the number of roses
  3. Scissors
  4. Corrugated paper in cream and marsh green colors
  5. Glue gun

Step 1

First cut cream-colored corrugated paper into strips 7 cm wide, and then strips into 5 cm pieces. You will need twelve petal blanks. From a second strip of paper of the same width, cut a second batch of petals 3 cm wide. The same number of petals must be made 4 cm wide.

Step 2

Fold the two blanks in half and round the edge like petals. After this, carefully stretch the corrugated paper in the center. You will get two rounded petals. Between these two petals you will place the candy. Apply glue to the petal and insert the candy there. Insert a skewer from below and seal the edges. Leave the structure for a minute and wait for the glue to cool.

Step 3

Round the edges of all other petals. Stretch all the petals in the center, giving them a rounded shape. After this, apply a little glue to the base of each petal from the inside and connect it to the base of the bud. Carefully press the base of the petals with your fingers and glue the next petal after a minute so that the previous one has time to secure itself well. You will get three circles of four petals.

Step 4

You are left with petals that are 4cm wide. Use a skewer to round the edges. After that, stretch them like the previous ones. These petals will already be open. Glue the petals overlapping, covering half of the previous one with the new petal. Then you will form a very beautiful English rose bud.

Step 5

The rosebud is ready. Now you need to decorate its base and stem with green paper. Cut a strip of paper 8 cm wide and 7 cm long. Cut a Christmas tree along one edge - these will be green petals bordering the bud. Use your fingers to slightly curl each sharp edge of the leaves, giving them a more natural shape that they have in nature. Stretch the base of the strip, rounding it inward. Apply hot glue to the edge on the inside and attach it to the pink bud.

Step 6

Cut a strip of green paper, stretch it, apply glue on the inside and glue it to the base of the bud, forming a green edge. Next, stretch the edge of the green paper onto the stick, lining it all the way with green paper.

P.S. Now you can take a master class on an Easter bouquet with your own hands. Decide on the number of white English roses that you will make from paper and decorate with sweets. Such an unusually beautiful and exquisite bouquet will be appropriate not only for the Holy Resurrection of Christ, but also for other dates and holidays that are important to you!
