A group of biennial flowers is distinguished by the fact that they can be slowly sown in June right at the dacha, bypassing the seedling method of growing. In the year of sowing, the seedlings grow, forming a good rosette of leaves, overwinter and bloom profusely the next year. Some of them bloom in the third year, but the bloom is already sharply losing its decorative effect.
The bell is medium. The seeds are very small, so they are sown almost superficially. To prevent the soil from drying out quickly, sowing can be carried out in a shaded place, for example, somewhere under an apple tree. Seedlings appear after two weeks. The strengthened seedlings dive at the end of summer and are planted in a permanent place. Soils for bells are suitable for fertile, without stagnation of water in a lighted place. For the winter, it is better to cover the "garden" with peat.
Bells are very beautiful in group planting, on lawns, on beds and in mixborders. Their flowers are fragrant and look stylish in bouquets. In colder regions where summers are short, it is preferable to sow seeds in late May.
Carnation bearded (Turkish)... Seeds are sown directly to the flower garden. Cloves emerge after 8 ... 10 days, undemanding to the place of growth. It blooms wonderfully for 1.5 months, even in shaded places on fertile soils, where there is no stagnation of water. It hibernates well, but it is necessary to cover the Turkish carnation from mice with spruce branches, thorns from burdock inflorescences. 
Planted in rocky areas, in mixborders in the vicinity of perennial flowers, it will always look good and beautiful. Low varieties are suitable for growing in pots and on balconies. Flowers have a unique aroma. When cut, they remain in water for a long time.
Mallow or stock rose. Modern terry varieties are popular today, although plants with simple flowers are very decorative. The seeds are quite large and they must be sown immediately in their place. They sprout after 10 ... 12 days. Plants are drought-resistant, love light, fertile soils and require abundant watering in dry summer weather. But damp soils cannot be tolerated. For the winter, seedlings need to be covered with peat. 
Mallows look great as lawn tapeworms. They are planted along fences and walls. Cut flowers stand well in bouquets and half-open buds open in the water.
Daisy... Small seeds sprout in 5 ... 10 days. Plants adapt well and bloom even on heavy, moist, fertile soils in partial shade and in the sun. They give self-seeding. 
Daisies can bloom almost continuously with good care. They are planted in various flower beds, flower pots, balcony boxes. Cut flowers stand well in water and make small bouquets (boutonnieres) and compositions from them.
Forget-me-not... After sowing, shoots appear in 12 ... 14 days. Forget-me-nots are grown on moist fertile loamy soils, without stagnant water. The best place for them is under trees and bushes. In sunny places in dry weather, decorativeness is quickly lost. 
Forget-me-nots are planted in groups with spring-flowering bulbous plants, on lawns near trees.
Digitalis... Medicinal and ornamental plant, flowers are very similar to bells. Plants up to 150 cm high. The seeds are small. The foxglove is planted in places with fertile loose soil without stagnant water. Winters well. Drought-resistant and photophilous. 
Foxgloves are beautiful when planted both in separate groups on lawns and in the vicinity of other flowers in mixborders. The whole plant is poisonous, so they are not planted in playgrounds and in places where small children are.
Hesperis or (Matrona's nocturnal). The plant belongs to the cabbage family. Seeds sprout well. The plant is unpretentious to grow, but does not like acidic soils. Flowering plants grow over 1 m in height. It is worth sowing once, and it will take root on the site for a long time. The fact is that the noctuary pours out its seeds abundantly after flowering. This is both bad and good. It's bad that you have to either transplant it (which she is not afraid of), or remove it completely, where it is "out of place." 
But for all its small shortcomings, the nocturnal will reward the owners with the enchanting scent of their unpretentious flowers, similar to phlox. The aroma is especially strong in the evening hours.
Pansies (viola)... The sown seeds germinate in 8 ... 10 days. Fortified babies are planted in flower beds in late August - early September with a distance of 15 ... 20 cm between them. The choice of varieties and colors is very large. In dry weather, they need constant abundant watering. 
In gardening "anyutki" are widely used. They are planted in flower beds in groups, on lawns, in containers, flowerpots, in balcony boxes. Pansies are loved by the peoples of many countries.
