Bracelet made from a bicycle chain. Weaving from elastic bands: bracelet “Bicycle chain. Chain bracelets at great prices

Our website dedicated to needlework continues to publish a series of master classes: lessons on weaving bracelets from rubber bands. And today we will try to show and tell in detail how to weave a “Bicycle Chain” bracelet from rubber bands.

To weave a “Bicycle Chain” bracelet, you will need elastic bands of 3 colors, one of which will be the main one and will go in the center of the bracelet (in our case it is black). You will also need a hook and a machine with two rows. Considering that all weaving will take place on two posts, this bracelet can also be made on a mini-loom.

How to weave a bracelet from rubber bands and a bicycle chain

First, take a black elastic band and twist it over two columns.

Take a pink elastic band and put it on the left column, after folding it in half.

Then we insert a hook inside the pink elastic band and pick up the black one,

bringing it out through the center and throwing it onto the right column.

The next one will be a white elastic band, put it on the right column, folding it in half.

In the future, we will place all the white elastic bands on the right column.

We take these elastic bands out through the center and transfer them to the left column.

From the left column we pick up the two lower pink elastic bands with a crochet hook.

We remove them from the outside of the column into the middle of the weaving.

The next elastic band from the first three is pink again, put it on the left column, folding it in half.

Then we insert the hook inside this elastic band and pick up the two lower black elastic bands, transferring them to the right column.

Photo No. 12-13

From the right column we hook two white bottom elastic bands

and bring them outside into the middle of the weaving.

We included three colored elastic bands in the work - alternately pink, white and pink again. After this you need to add one black elastic band.

To do this, insert the hook inside the black elastic band and pick up another one, bringing it onto the hook.

Then you need to remove the black elastic band from the post and put on a new (added) black elastic band, folded in half.

This lengthening of the black elastic bands will need to be done every time the three colored elastic bands (pink and white) run out.

We proceed to putting on the next three elastic bands in the following sequence.

In the future, the work will alternate the sequence of colored rubber bands indicated in photo No. 2.

We repeat all the steps starting from photo No. 6. After this three elastic bands are used, you need to lengthen the black elastic bands again, as shown in photos 16-18.

We continue to weave the bracelet of the required length and begin to complete it.

There are two rubber bands left on each post. We need to transfer two white elastic bands from the right column to the left one,

then put a C-shaped clip on them.

Then we fix the other end of the product with the same clip.

1 – Bicycle chain Christmas decorations

They're easy to make yourself and can be purchased on ETSY. Christmas can't come anytime soon, but that means we have almost a year to properly prepare for it!

You can make a textured and rough men's bracelet from a bicycle chain with your own hands. You will need little initial materials for such a decoration, as well as little time to assemble the bracelet itself.

Materials

So what we need:

  • old bicycle chain;
  • leather or suede cord;
  • buttons for bracelets;
  • scissors.

One bicycle chain makes about five to six bracelets, depending on the circumference of your hand.

Step 1. This is the most labor-intensive stage of the work. It is necessary to thoroughly wash the bicycle chain and disassemble it.

Step 2. Cut two leather cords. Their length should be about one and a half meters.

Step 3. You need to thread a button through one cord and stop it exactly in the middle. On the second cord it is also necessary to mark the center and tie it with the second cord with a regular knot. As a result, four cords of equal length should extend from the button.

Step 4. Tie all four cords into one knot, pulling it as close to the button as possible.

Step 5. Now you need to weave two small rings from the chain. Divide the cords into two parts and pass them through the rings towards each other, tying them with a knot.

Step 6. Now it's the turn of the chain links. The cords must be divided into two parts. In each part, they must be threaded through the hole in the link towards each other and tied into a knot.

Step 7. The links now need to be positioned differently. The principle of threading the cord is the same, but the links should be laid crosswise.

Step 9. At the end of weaving, the cord should be tied into a knot, leaving a loop. It is necessary to thread a button woven into it from the other end of the bracelet.

Step 10. Cut off the excess ends of the cord, either completely or leaving them in the form of a tassel. If you wish, you can attach large beads to the end of such a tassel.

Your bracelet is ready!

Good day! Since last summer, I became the owner of a two-wheeled vehicle with a foot drive, as a result of which the range of goods I ordered from China was replenished with a new category of bicycle products.
A month ago, while aimlessly wandering the endless expanses of Chinese shops, I came across this bracelet quite by accident. Since I’m a little torn about the bike theme (after all, I’ve been dreaming about buying a Lisaped for seven years), it didn’t take long for me to decide to become the owner of a bracelet.
The order was placed on February 6, received on March 3 - the standard delivery time for Tyumen is “about a month.”
So, there was a small box in a standard postal bag. The website states that the color of the box is random. Naturally, as usual, I was “lucky”:

The “brutal” colored box contained a bracelet folded in coral and wrapped in elastic polyethylene (unexpected, right? :)).

The bracelet material is hard rubber and stainless steel. Made without any complaints - everything is smooth, smooth, shiny and pleasing to the eye in every possible way. The clasp is simple and reliable, quite tight. Losing the bracelet through her fault is unlikely.

I still haven’t acquired an accurate scale, so I can’t tell you the weight, but you can feel it on your hand.
The approximate size on the website is 22x1 cm. In reality, the length turned out to be about a centimeter shorter, which did not play a big role.

It looks unusual on the hand and, in my opinion (which, don’t be surprised, may differ from yours), is quite interesting.

As a result, I am very pleased with the tsatskaya. Now all that remains is to wait for the start of the cycling season and collect envious glances from like-minded people on transport :).
PS: And on February 13th I became a folder (in the sense, not a catalog, but a father), so I’m ready to accept congratulations: D

"Bicycle chain"- a method of weaving a miniature accessory.

The name of the bracelet, the weaving of which will be described in this lesson, can be said to speak for itself. Externally, this accessory resembles a colored, miniature copy of a real bicycle chain. The bracelet looks very unusual on the hand, and weaving it is not difficult. To weave a “Bicycle Chain” you will need the following:

1. Silicone bright rubber bands in three colors - purple, orange and yellow.
2. The simplest plastic hook.
3. Transparent small clasp.
4. Convenient “Slingshot” machine (in principle, you can use any machine, since all weaving will be carried out on just two posts).

The very first purple rubber band is thrown onto the “Slingshot”, twisting...

Now, an important piece of advice: to avoid the colors getting mixed up, you should prepare orange and yellow rubber bands, arranging them in threes in a column.

It is important to remember: orange rubber bands will always go on the left column, and yellow ones will always go on the right. The first orange rubber band must be wound twice around the left column.

In the next step, from the inside of the orange rubber band, take out the purple one and change it to the right column.

From inside the yellow elastic band, a purple one is pulled out and changed to the left column.

After the purple one is changed, the orange elastic band is folded into the middle (on the outside).

In the first three rubber bands there is only one left, its color is orange. Accordingly, it is screwed onto the column on the left.

From inside the orange elastic band, take out a purple one and put it on the right column.

Following the pattern, the yellow elastic band should be removed from the right column (through the outer side).

The first three rubber bands have come to an end, which means that we need to “extend” the purple rubber bands. Another elastic band is pulled through the purple elastic band on the right column, which is attached to the hook.

Now the purple elastic band is removed from the “Slingshot”, and the elastic band from the hook is changed in its place.

You can move on to the second three rubber bands. The first elastic band in it is yellow. This means whoever screwed it will be on the right column.

A purple elastic band is pulled out from inside the yellow elastic band and thrown over the post on the right. After this, the orange rubber band is removed from the left column.

Now the orange elastic band is wound onto the left column, a purple one is pulled out of it and changed onto the right column. Next, a yellow rubber band is dropped onto the center from the outside.

The last yellow rubber band remained in the second three. You need to screw it onto the right column, after which you need to pull it out and change the purple one, and then throw off the orange one.

Until the end of the bracelet, weaving is done according to the pattern discussed above.

The creation of the bracelet will be completed when its length reaches the required length, and the orange elastic band remaining in the last three will be placed on the right column. The purple one reaches through and changes clothes to the left.

The remaining elastic bands (double yellow and purple) are put on one column. A fastener is threaded through these rubber bands.

Now the clip is attached to the second edge of the bracelet, and that’s it! The fashion accessory is ready.
