Dls alien walkthrough. The trailer for the plot add-on "The Outsider" for the game Dragon Age: Inquisition accidentally hit the net. There is no sound in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser. Can not hear anything. Decision

Unfortunately, there are flaws in games: brakes, low FPS, crashes, freezes, bugs and other minor and not very errors. Often problems begin before the game even starts, when it won't install, won't load, or won't even download. Yes, and the computer itself is sometimes weird, and then in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser, instead of a picture, a black screen, control does not work, no sound is heard or anything else.

What to do first

  1. Download and run the world famous CCleaner(download from a direct link) is a program that will clean your computer of unnecessary garbage, as a result of which the system will work faster after the first reboot;
  2. Update all drivers in the system using the program Driver Updater(download via direct link) - it will scan your computer and update all drivers to the latest version in 5 minutes;
  3. Install Advanced System Optimizer(download from a direct link) and turn on the game mode in it, which will end useless background processes during game launch and increase performance in the game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition System Requirements - Outsider

The second thing to do if you encounter any problems with Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser is to check the system requirements. In a good way, you need to do this even before the purchase, so as not to regret the money spent.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser Minimum System Requirements:

Windows 7, Info, 4 GB RAM, 26 GB HDD, 512 MB 512 MB

Every gamer should at least have a little understanding of the components, to know why a video card, processor and other things are needed in the system unit.

Files, drivers and libraries

Almost every device in a computer requires a set of special software. These are drivers, libraries and other files that ensure the correct operation of the computer.

It's worth starting with the drivers for the video card. Modern graphics cards are produced by only two large companies - Nvidia and AMD. Having found out which product spins the coolers in the system unit, we go to the official website and download the package of fresh drivers:

A prerequisite for the successful functioning of Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider is the availability of the latest drivers for all devices in the system. Download the utility Driver Updater to easily and quickly download the latest drivers and install them with one click:

If Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser does not start, we recommend that you try disabling your antivirus or put the game in the antivirus exceptions, and also check the system requirements again and if something from your build does not match, then improve your PC if possible, purchasing more powerful components.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser has black screen, white screen, color screen. Decision

Problems with screens of different colors can be roughly divided into 2 categories.

Firstly, they are often associated with the use of two video cards at once. For example, if your motherboard has a built-in video card, but you are playing on a discrete one, then Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser may run on the built-in one for the first time, while you will not see the game itself, because the monitor is connected to a discrete video card.

Secondly, color screens happen when there are problems with displaying the image on the screen. This can happen for various reasons. For example, Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider cannot work with an outdated driver or does not support a video card. Also, a black / white screen may be displayed when working at resolutions that are not supported by the game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser crashes. At a certain or random moment. Decision

You play for yourself, play and here - bam! - everything goes out, and now you have a desktop without any hint of the game. Why is this happening? To solve the problem, it is worth trying to figure out what the nature of the problem is.

If the crash occurs at a random point in time without any pattern, then with a probability of 99% we can say that this is a mistake of the game itself. In this case, it is very difficult to fix something, and it is best to just put Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser aside and wait for the patch.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash. In addition, you can download the Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider save and bypass the departure point.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser freezes. The picture freezes. Decision

The situation is about the same as with crashes: many freezes are directly related to the game itself, or rather, to the developer's mistake when creating it. However, a frozen picture can often become a starting point for investigating the deplorable state of a video card or processor.

So if the picture in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser freezes, then use the programs to display statistics on the loading of components. Perhaps your video card has long exhausted its working life or the processor is heating up to dangerous temperatures?

The easiest way to check the loading and temperatures for the video card and processors is in the MSI Afterburner program. If desired, you can even display these and many other parameters on top of the Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider image.

What temperatures are dangerous? Processors and video cards have different operating temperatures. For video cards, they are usually 60-80 degrees Celsius. The processors are slightly lower - 40-70 degrees. If the processor temperature is higher, then you should check the condition of the thermal paste. It may have dried out and needs to be replaced.

If the video card is heating up, then you should use the driver or the official utility from the manufacturer. You need to increase the number of revolutions of the coolers and see if the operating temperature drops.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser slows down. Low FPS. Frame rate drops. Decision

With stutters and low frame rates in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider, the first step is to lower the graphics settings. Of course, there are a lot of them, so before reducing everything in a row, you should find out exactly how certain settings affect performance.

Screen resolution. In short, this is the number of points that make up the picture of the game. The higher the resolution, the higher the load on the video card. However, the increase in load is negligible, so reducing the screen resolution should only be the last resort, when everything else does not help.

Texture quality. Typically, this setting determines the resolution of texture files. Decrease the quality of textures if the video card has a small amount of video memory (less than 4 GB) or if you are using a very old hard drive with a spindle speed of less than 7200.

Model quality(sometimes just details). This setting determines which set of 3D models will be used in the game. The higher the quality, the more polygons. Accordingly, high-poly models require more processing power of the video card (not to be confused with the amount of video memory!), which means that this parameter should be reduced on video cards with a low core or memory frequency.

Shadows. They are implemented in different ways. In some games, shadows are created dynamically, that is, they are calculated in real time every second of the game. Such dynamic shadows load both the processor and the video card. In order to optimize, developers often abandon the full rendering and add a pre-render of shadows to the game. They are static, because in fact they are just textures that are superimposed on top of the main textures, which means they load memory, and not the core of the video card.

Often, developers add additional settings related to shadows:

  • Shadow Resolution - determines how detailed the shadow cast by the object will be. If the game has dynamic shadows, then it loads the core of the video card, and if a pre-created render is used, then it “eats” the video memory.
  • Soft shadows - smoothing out bumps on the shadows themselves, usually this option is given along with dynamic shadows. Regardless of the type of shadows, it loads the video card in real time.

Smoothing. Allows you to get rid of ugly corners at the edges of objects by using a special algorithm, the essence of which is usually to generate several images at once and compare them, calculating the most “smooth” image. There are many different anti-aliasing algorithms that differ in their level of impact on the performance of Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser.

For example, MSAA works head-on, creating 2, 4, or 8 renders at once, so the frame rate is reduced by 2, 4, or 8 times, respectively. Algorithms such as FXAA and TAA operate a little differently, achieving a smooth image by calculating only the edges and using some other tricks. Because of this, they do not reduce performance as much.

Lighting. As in the case of anti-aliasing, there are different algorithms for lighting effects: SSAO, HBAO, HDAO. All of them use the resources of the video card, but they do it differently depending on the video card itself. The fact is that the HBAO algorithm was promoted mainly on video cards from Nvidia (GeForce line), so it works best on the “green” ones. HDAO, on the other hand, is optimized for AMD graphics cards. SSAO is the simplest type of lighting, it consumes the least resources, so in case of slowdowns in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider, it is worth switching to it.

What should be lowered first? Shadows, anti-aliasing, and lighting effects are usually the most stressful, so it's best to start with them.

Often gamers themselves have to deal with the optimization of Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser. For almost all major releases, there are various related and forums where users share their ways to improve productivity.

One of them is a special program called Advanced System Optimizer. It is made specifically for those who do not want to manually clean up the computer from various temporary files, delete unnecessary registry entries and edit the startup list. Advanced System Optimizer will do this on its own and will also analyze your computer to find out how you can improve performance in applications and games.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider lags. Big game delay. Decision

Many people confuse "lag" with "lag", but these problems have completely different causes. Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser slows down when the frame rate at which the image is displayed on the monitor decreases, and lags when the delay when accessing the server or any other host is too high.

That is why "lags" can only be in network games. The reasons are different: bad network code, physical distance from servers, network congestion, incorrectly configured router, low Internet connection speed.

However, the latter is the least common. In online games, communication between the client and the server occurs by exchanging relatively short messages, so even 10 MB per second should be enough for the eyes.

There is no sound in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser. Can not hear anything. Decision

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser works, but for some reason does not sound - this is another problem that gamers face. Of course, you can play like that, but it's still better to figure out what's the matter.

First you need to determine the scope of the problem. Where exactly is there no sound - only in the game or in general on the computer? If only in the game, then perhaps this is due to the fact that the sound card is very old and does not support DirectX.

If there is no sound at all, then the matter is definitely in the computer settings. Perhaps the sound card drivers are not installed correctly, or maybe there is no sound due to some specific error of our favorite Windows OS.

Controls do not work in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Outsider. Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser does not see the mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Decision

How to play if it is impossible to control the process? The problems of supporting specific devices are out of place here, because we are talking about familiar devices - keyboard, mouse and controller.

Thus, errors in the game itself are practically excluded, almost always the problem is on the user's side. You can solve it in different ways, but, one way or another, you will have to turn to the driver. Usually, when you connect a new device, the operating system immediately tries to use one of the standard drivers, but some models of keyboards, mice, and gamepads are not compatible with them.

Thus, you need to find out the exact model of the device and try to find exactly its driver. Often, devices from well-known gaming brands come with their own software kits, since the standard Windows driver simply cannot ensure the correct operation of all the functions of a particular device.

If you don’t want to look for drivers for all devices separately, you can use the program Driver Updater. It is designed to automatically search for drivers, so you only need to wait for the scan results and download the necessary drivers in the program interface.

Often, the brakes in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser can be caused by viruses. In this case, there is no difference how powerful the video card is in the system unit. You can check your computer and clean it of viruses and other unwanted software using special programs. For example NOD32 . The antivirus has proven itself from the best side and has received the approval of millions of users around the world.

Suitable for both personal use and small businesses, ZoneAlarm is able to protect a computer running Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP from any attack: phishing, viruses, malware, spyware and other cyber threats . New users are given a 30-day free trial.

Nod32 is an antivirus from ESET, which has received many awards for its contribution to the development of security. Versions of anti-virus programs for both PC and mobile devices are available on the developer's website, a 30-day trial version is provided. There are special conditions for business.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser downloaded from torrent does not work. Decision

If the distribution kit of the game was downloaded via torrent, then in principle there can be no guarantees of work. Torrents and repacks are almost never updated through official applications and do not work over the network, because in the course of hacking, hackers cut out all network functions from games, which are often used to check the license.

Using such versions of games is not only inconvenient, but even dangerous, because very often many files have been changed in them. For example, to bypass protection, pirates modify an EXE file. However, no one knows what else they do with it. Maybe they embed self-executing software. For example, which, when the game is first launched, will be integrated into the system and will use its resources to ensure the well-being of hackers. Or, giving access to the computer to third parties. There are no guarantees and there cannot be.

In addition, the use of pirated versions is, according to our publication, theft. The developers have spent a lot of time creating the game, investing their own money in the hope that their offspring will pay off. And every work must be paid.

Therefore, if you encounter any problems with games downloaded from torrents or hacked using certain means, you should immediately remove the pirate, clean your computer with an antivirus and a licensed copy of the game. This will not only save you from dubious software, but also allow you to download updates for the game and receive official support from its creators.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - The Outsider gives a missing DLL error. Decision

As a rule, problems associated with the absence of DLLs arise when Dragon Age: Inquisition - Trespasser is launched, however, sometimes the game can access certain DLLs in the process and, without finding them, crash in the most impudent manner.

To fix this error, you need to find the required DLL and install it on the system. The easiest way to do this is with a program. DLL fixer, which scans the system and helps you quickly find missing libraries.

If your problem turned out to be more specific, or if the method described in this article did not help, then you can ask other users in our "" section. They will promptly help you!

Thank you for your attention!

The add-on is activated by completing the story mission on the command headquarters table "Come to the meeting of the Holy Council" for 8 influence points, but only after the end of the main game (i.e. defeating the Corypheus). It is also worth noting that by starting this add-on, we automatically block all unfinished quests and missions that we have left. Therefore, we carefully check our diary, quickly deal with unfinished business, put on our dress uniform and set off to decide the future of our Inquisition. After all, in the two years that have passed since the final battle, order around has been restored, all gaps have been closed, the remnants of enemy troops and demons have been defeated, and a quiet and peaceful life has begun. But the strength and power of this uncontrolled organization began to worry the powers that be very much, and the influence and authority of the Inquisition began to threaten the foundations of the monarchies of Orlais and Ferelden.

In order to unlock the "Thinking Out of the box" achievement, you need to solve puzzles with four wolf statues.

  • Elven Ruins, Forgotten Shrine. We read the inscription on the stone opposite the statue of the wolf, we light exactly the fire that the statue is looking at (part 5 from 17.10).
  • Ruined Library, Scholar's Refuge. We pass through the eluvian in the Ruined Tower, in the Scientist's Refuge we rise to the second floor and read the inscription on the stone, then we rise to the third floor, look around near the wolf statue, then press the button and quickly return back (you can leave a party member near the eluvian) to the location of the Ruined Tower, we light the curtain fire in the circle of the Dead and go back to the statue of the wolf. We light the fire in the bowl opposite the statue. (part 9 from 10.18) (If you take a torch with you to the Lower Archives, you can read the curtain rune there).
  • Deep trails. After the Inquisitor receives the Anchor Explosion ability, we return to the deep paths, find a blockage in front of the eluvian and activate the anchor to clear the passage. We pass through the eluvian, take the curtain fire, then read the inscription on the stone next to the wolf statue, then read the curtain rune on the frescoes, then press the button on the wolf statue, climb the stairs and light the brazier for the curtain fire (part 11 from 13.00)
  • Darvaarad, Research Tower. On the third floor of the tower we read the inscription on the stone, then we light the curtain fire in the following order: Owl, Deer, Dragon (part 12 from 14.17)

In order to open the fourth line in the dialogue (that Solas is Fen "Harel"), you need to collect four codex entries.

  • Elven ruins, Forgotten sanctuary on an island in the middle of a lake. Note on the body of a dead Qunari on the shore (part 11 from 07.30).
  • Deep trails. Note on the box in front of the blue barrier fire (part 7 from 02.21).
  • Ruined Library, Scholar's Refuge. Behind the blue barrier fire is a memory book near the chest (part 9 from 09.20).
  • Darvaarad, Research Tower. A note supposedly about a self-portrait of Fen "Harel (part 12 from 13.45)

Using her skill "Shadow Cloak" from the sorcerer knight specialization tree, Vivienne can also pass through the blue barrier fire.

During the passage of the DLC, the player has the opportunity to additionally increase some of the attributes of his character by +10 units, as well as receive an additional bonus in the form of a sketch or some kind of item.

  • Gain +10 Constitution. It is necessary to collect the "Expensive treat for dogs" scattered on the territory adjacent to the palace (10 pcs. Searched as a treasure using the letter V). After that, put all the bones in a basket next to Cullen's mabari. In gratitude, the dog will bring the mace "Cudgel of the Black and Gold Queen"
  • Get +10 strength. It is necessary to fix 5 crooked paintings hanging on the wall in different rooms.
One painting (horseman) is in a house located next to Charter.
One painting (portrait) is in the tavern.
One picture (portrait) is in the bath.
Two paintings (large) are in the room with eluvian.
  • Gain +10 Agility. You need to catch five jesters, each N-th number of times (it was not possible to calculate exactly). For each give +2 to dexterity and gold. For all five, there is also a sketch of the long sword "Scorcher"
  • Get +10 Cunning. On the left hand after entering the first Eluvian, between two stone blocks, there is a skeleton, next to it is a statuette of a Gauls and a map with the location of the next statuette. For each subsequent figurine found +1 to cunning (+4 in total), for finding the fifth gall we get a sketch of the "Bis" staff. Then we return back to the skeleton at the Crossroads and present it with a hat found near the last figurine. We get another +6 to cunning.
  • Get +10 Magicka. Before going to Darvaarad, on the balcony next to Kasandra, it will be possible to launch fireworks. After the charges are released, you must try to explode each at its highest point so that you get a very bright flash. Points are awarded for these flashes.
For 50 points we get +1 to magic.
For 70 points we get +3 to magic and the sign of the golem.
For 80 points we get +6 to magic and the sketch "Magic Great Sword"

stranger

And finally we arrive at the Winter Palace in Halamshiral, and the first person who meets us here is mother Giselle. We communicate nicely, exchange mutual courtesies, learn pleasant and not so good news. It turns out that our comrades and friends came to the Holy Council to support us, who in the recent past had to share with us all the hardships and hardships of the struggle, as well as the joy of victory. And this is the only opportunity to chat with them before the council, then, perhaps, there will simply not be time for this. We can learn from them about how these two years passed, where they were, what they did, what plans they make for the future. So, we go to visit our comrades and get real pleasure from communicating with them. But no matter how long we evade our duties and delay the unpleasant moment, we still have to pay a courtesy call to the ambassadors of Orlais and Ferelden.

So, all meetings, pleasant and not very, are over, preparations for the meeting are completed, we are going to the Holy Council. We sit, listen to claims and accusations, die of boredom and think: "When will this all end?" And then we get a message about the need for an urgent meeting. Hooray! A great excuse to escape from this soul-exhausting and nerve-wracking meeting, which we are happy to immediately use. Arriving at the meeting place, we find a dead Qunari warrior in full combat armor. After conferring with Leliana and reflecting, we come to the conclusion that nothing is clear and we need to somehow deal with this incomprehensible situation. It's good that friends are with us again, because again, perhaps, another trouble and dangerous adventures await us.

Now we are faced with the task of finding out how the Qunari warrior got into the Winter Palace, and even unnoticed. We set off on his bloody trail to find out where he will lead us. We climb up the garden lattice and find ourselves in a room with a functioning eluvian. Going there alone is pure suicide, so we gather our comrades again and go through the magic mirror. Once at the crossroads, we find a locked eluvian, through which the Qunari warrior tried to pass, but he obviously did not succeed. However, the bloody trail leads us in the other direction and leads to another mirror through which we can pass, which we do, burning with curiosity. After passing through the Eluvian, we understand that we are in the ancient elven ruins, and a little further we find another dead Qunari warrior. But the trail does not stop there, so we continue to move forward along it until it takes us after some time to the bridge on the island, where, apparently, we need to get. However, the bridge does not have a span, which means that you will have to look for another way through the available eluvians.

We dive into the nearest one and find ourselves at the foot of the Smoking Tower, guarded by the spirit guards of the ancient elves.

Consequences of the plot decision:

If the Inquisitor drank from the Well of Sorrow, then it is possible to do without a fight with spirit guardians.

After a short, but very "meaningful" communication with the guards, we find a strange mosaic of green hues, which, when we try to examine it, gives us information and disappears, revealing the next mirror. So we go there, because there are no other alternatives. And again the tower, now Silent. We look around and notice ghosts hiding behind another green mosaic, as well as dead Qunari warriors. We follow the ghosts through a veiled picture, while replenishing our intellectual baggage with another piece of information. After another curtain mosaic and another piece of information about ancient elven history, we find ourselves in a hall with statues, where we get a discharge of magic and a new anchor ability. We put it into practice (yes, yes, now we can also earn extra money with a lamp) and take the figurine of the wolf from the pedestal. But treasures always have guards, and this figurine is no exception. We'll have to defend our right to find.

"Having listened" to all the weighty arguments that we had in reserve, the guards leave us our booty. Clutching it with both hands and saying: "My charm ...", we return back to the bridge, where we put the figurine on a pedestal. Finally, we can get to the island and talk with the Qunari, clarify the circumstances of this possible misunderstanding. But for some reason unknown and beyond our control, the dialogue is not immediately asked, we are not even allowed to say a word, not to mention any questions. We are forced to simply defend our right to life under the sun in this world. After the completion of unsuccessful negotiations, we understand that all our questions remained unanswered. The need to clarify the situation forces us to look for these answers on our own, we have to shake the old days and remember what we did two years ago. We take out our set of young detective and go in search of clues. Having climbed all the corners and checked every dark corner, we return with the collected information to Leliana.

After holding an emergency meeting with our advisers (how long have we not solved complex problems together), we return back to the Crossroads in order to find out: "What are the Qunari planning?" and we notice a small detachment of horned warriors hiding in another eluvian. We carefully set off after them and find ourselves ... on the deep paths. What a surprise! Why did the elven mirror bring us here and what do the Qunari need here? We will try to find out about everything and at the same time stay alive. Moving forward and at the same time fighting off the attacks of the inhabitants of the underground labyrinths, we stumble upon a small Shelter, talk with its owner and learn very disappointing news for us, and then decide its future fate. Well, the task is clear, the goal has been set for us, we set off in search of a solution to this problem. We make our way through numerous crowds of the enemy to a warehouse with fuses, pick them up and arrange a small, well, very small ba-da-boom. And then we rush headlong to the exit, it’s a pity we don’t go fishing - the water is coming too fast.

After an extraordinary urgent meeting with advisers and discussing the threat of a Qunari invasion that has fallen out of nowhere, having gathered our small squad and grabbed a first-aid kit with tinctures and potions, stuffing our pockets with grenades, we again go to the Crossroads in search of the main instigator of the troubles that have fallen on our heads. After passing through the eluvian near the bookshelf, we find ourselves in the destroyed ancient elven library. How much knowledge was lost here, how much of the lost can be restored? Chasing these thoughts away from ourselves, we move forward towards our goal. Having exchanged a few words with the Archivist, we hurry on, we notice a group of qunari on one of the islands floating in nothing and the eluvian, which, most likely, leads there. But we can only restore part of the way with the help of an egg-shaped glowing red artifact. We will have to look for others, perhaps we will be able to restore the rest of the spans of the bridges.

We pass through the nearest mirror and find ourselves in the Inner Courtyard, we notice two more active eluvians, put our curious nose in both one way or another, but it is better first to the left. We pass through the mirror and get into the Ruined Tower, we find another Eluvian and nothing that could help restore the bridges. So again forward through the magical surface of the glass. And here we have another part of the destroyed library - the Scientist's Shelter, after a thorough inspection of the territory, we activate the artifact and return back to the Courtyard. We get another blow "in the stomach" with a discharge of magic and another ability of the anchor. Now let's have some fun, now we'll show them all how to get in our way. Then we direct our "andraste chosen" steps through the right eluvian and get into the Shattered Hall. And again another mirror, and again through it into the unknown. And now we are already in the Lower Archives, carefully looking around and discovering what we were looking for. Now you can go to the inverted island to see how it all looks upside down there, and at the same time look for Viddasalu.

But again, for some reason, we do not have a dialogue with Viddasala, again we have to defend our point of view, and at the same time the right to life. Apparently, we do not know kunlat at all, or over the past two years we have managed to catch the tongue-tied virus somewhere. We will have to go back to the advisers and admit our failure as a negotiator. Having poured out all the insults to our advisers on the slow-witted representatives of the horned race, after listening to their arguments and proposals, we suddenly realize that we don’t have much time left, and there are still more than enough things to do. And the main task is to stop all this horned army at all costs. We carefully check our weapons and armor, collect the "first aid" backpack, equip the ammunition, convene our comrades and set off to solve the problems that have piled up until they have swallowed up everything that we fought for before. Knowing full well that this is the last battle and there may not be a return for us, we gather all our courage and will into a fist and head towards the eluvian leading to Darvaarad.

After passing through the mirror, we find ourselves in the courtyard of the fortress. Well, let's try to find out: what the Qunari have been doing here all this time and what other plans they are hatching. We break through with a fight through the barriers and patrols of enemies, we stumble upon a very interesting gate blocking the entrance to the inside of the fortress. Having fiddled a little with the locking mechanism, we unlock them. Now you can see what the Qunari are doing here, and then try to thwart their grandiose plans (we are not the first to do this). We move forward with battles and discover the factory for the production of gaatlock and the source of extraction of its main ingredient (surprise surprise). Now we have to decide what to do in this situation. While we were dealing with the solution of this problem, Viddasala and her warriors reached the next eluvian, but before waving her hand, she nevertheless deigned to explain to us the motives of her actions, as well as give us some information about one of our comrade-in-arms - Solas. Now it is up to us to decide: how our further relations with him will develop and in what key the dialogue will be built if we manage to get to him before the Qunari warriors.

Boiling with righteous anger, we rush after Viddasala, because our heart-to-heart conversation with her is not over yet. And here we get another surprise from the anchor. So time is running out, so we need to hurry. Through the ranks of enemies and a series of mirrors, we break through all the time forward and forward, trying to get ahead of Viddasala. But our attempts to break into the leaders of the race did not go unnoticed, and sairabaza Sairat, fed with lyrium, was put up against us. And what do we do now? Nothing, all that remains is to accept this challenge and pick up the thrown glove. When we hit him a little and his inflated conceit leaves a third part, Viddasala will call Sairat away, but leave a bunch of ordinary soldiers to delay us, but this will not help her much. Nothing and no one can stop us on the way to our goal, so we continue our way through the ranks of enemies and eluvians.

And now the ranks of the enemies have thinned out very much, and Viddasala is standing alone at the next mirror, and again we, headlong, rush forward. But it was not there. Sairat, who has improved his injured health, again blocks our path to the goal. There is nothing else left but to completely knock down the arrogance of this horned jock overfed with lyrium. We try to closely monitor his attacks and not fall under the distribution of various goodies, of which he has enough in stock. When pulling the whole group to him, we immediately withdraw the members of the detachment beyond the border of the lyrium circle. Do not forget to look under your feet so as not to run into surprises in the form of natural mines. We remove the barrier and life from it by discharging the anchor. (Good luck in this duel). And now Sairat is defeated, and the path to the last eluvian is free, and behind it we will finally get the long-awaited answers to the questions that have been tormenting us for so long. After a conversation with Solas, dumbfounded by everything he heard from his lips, we return to the meeting of the Holy Council and decide the fate of the Inquisition.

Recently, the importance of DLC has skyrocketed. Some of them open new chapters in computer games and show familiar characters from a new perspective. An example is The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone. This large-scale addon organically fits into the story of the witcher, and in terms of the saturation of the atmosphere and the number of intense emotional moments, it can compete with the main storyline.

There is another type of plot additions, which are designed not so much to expand the plot as to patch up the shortcomings and gaps that exist there. Such problems arise even for famous game studios with considerable experience. For example, the Canadian company Bioware. Gamers will surely remember the wave of indignation that was generated by the strange finale of the third part of Mass Effect. In addition to the death of the protagonist, the storyline was full of gaps and obvious inconsistencies. The supplement issued “at the request of the workers” did little to improve the situation. The ending only lost its drama, and far-fetched explanations seemed unconvincing to many.

Taking into account the previous merits of the studio, one could expect that eminent igrodely not repeat their mistakes. But the ending of Dragon Age: Inquisition, released in the fall of 2014, also caused bewilderment.

To say that this game was expected would be a clear understatement. Dragon Age: Origins, which appeared in 2009, marked the beginning of the Dragon Age. In it, Bioware embodied all its achievements and rich experience gained while working on the famous Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights, the universally recognized classics of the RPG genre. The advantages of Origins can be listed for a very long time, no wonder many RPG fans still consider it the best "role player". The game captivated with a fascinating plot, a gloomy atmosphere, excellent graphics for that time and "live" characters. Each character had expressive character traits that manifested themselves in conversations with the main character and other characters, determined their attitude to the events. Other components, including the combat system and pumping heroes, were also performed at a high level.

Such a wonderful game has raised the bar of quality to sky-high heights. Since 2009, every fresh RPG has been compared to this masterpiece, while revealing a lot of weaknesses. The second part of Dragon Age, which appeared in 2011, did not escape comparison. As is often the case with sequels, it turned out to be an order of magnitude weaker than the original, which was unanimously noted by both players and most gaming publications.

After the failure of Dragon Age 2, the Canadians did not rush to the third part of the franchise. Its development dragged on for four years, but could not repeat the success of the first part of Dragon Age: Inquisition. We will not once again scold the MMO and excessive colorfulness of the new game, which has lost all the gloomy charm of the series. Let's not even snort about same-sex love. After all, no one sticks to the protagonist, and if the player himself chooses the option of replicas “with a heart”, then this is already a matter of his personal preferences and interests. But there are moments that simply cannot be brushed aside. Their number is growing rapidly closer to the final. After the last battle, by the way, far from the most impressive in the entire game, it turned out that it was too early to put an end to history. A short cut-scene informs us that our former comrade-in-arms, the elf Solas, is clearly up to something evil. Instead of the pleasure of winning, many players felt annoyed. Why did the developers need this open ending?

Probably for the sake of those same DLCs, most of which are offered to be purchased for an additional fee. The desire for profit is understandable, but it is difficult to call it correct. After all, if you buy a new novel, you expect to receive a finished work, and not to purchase the last chapter for an additional fee. Moreover, Dragon Age: Inquisition can hardly be called cheap. Against the backdrop of such a policy, you begin to feel involuntary sympathy for the pirates.

Let's return to our inquisitors, whose fate was finally decided in the fall of 2015. It was then that the Trespasser addon came out, in Russian localization called "The Stranger". This "downloadable content" promised all fans of Dragon Age answers to all the many questions related to the fate of the Inquisition. In other words, this is the same “lost” ending. This circumstance once again confirms the prerequisite for its passage - the completion of the main storyline. Of particular interest was the change in the main writer of the series. Has the new blood changed the game for the better?

The beginning of the quest is no different from other missions. A mark "Come to the meeting of the sacred council" appears on the map. We are honestly warned that there will be no turning back. This is understandable, because the events of the DLC unfold two years after the victory over the Karifan. No one disputes the significance of this event, but the feeling of gratitude is rapidly melting away. The power and influence of the Inquisition is causing concern among the rulers of Thedas. Both the Fereldans and the Orlesians are seeking to change the status of an organization that just recently saved the world. Some want to make it their puppet, while others want to dissolve it altogether. This issue must be resolved at the sacred council, which takes place in the Winter Palace.

Before the meeting, you can explore the palace grounds and chat with old friends. Some of them will reveal themselves from an unexpected, sometimes even funny side. When the collection of dog treats and court conversations are completely boring, we move on to discussing burning issues. It is not necessary to participate in verbal debates for a long time, circumstances force us to take up arms again, and entrust the negotiations to Josephine.

The main opponents are Qunari warriors. Among them come across and nimble killers, and thugs in heavy armor, and powerful magicians. The complexity of the battles has grown significantly, and for those who like to overcome difficulties, a special test system has been introduced. In the settings, you can activate options such as reducing the experience gained, the critical attitude of comrades, the appearance of especially strong enemies, and other "goodies". So if you are at least level 30, you should not worry about going too easy.

The gameplay follows the established pattern: we leave the palace through the eluvian mirror, complete the next mission and return back. Many have criticized Dragon Age: Inquisition for being too large and deserted. Their opinion was clearly taken into account when developing Trespasser. The vast expanses where a mount had become vital had shrunk to tiny stony patches of land. The corridor nature of the first parts has returned, although it is smoothed out by excellent design.

The change in screenwriter has borne fruit. The game immediately acquired a different atmosphere. Of course, Origins is still far from dense gloom. Nevertheless, there are much fewer clichés, unexpected twists and turns and not always pleasant surprises appeared in the story. If the main game was almost black and white, with a clear division into friends and enemies, then in the "Outsider" there are halftones and a slight blurring of ideals. Faithful comrades become capable of betrayal, even a “tear-closer” turns from a convenient tool into a dangerous burden. The volume of the add-on does not allow to fully reveal the talented ideas, but gives reason to hope for an excellent continuation of the Dragon Age story.

It is difficult to doubt his appearance, the ending clearly points to the fourth part. It is quite clear who we will have to fight next. Unlike the inexpressive ending of Dragon Age: Inquisition, in Trespasser we get a full-fledged ending. You can clearly feel it when you watch the epilogue, which is traditionally compiled in a slide show format. The history of the Inquisition is over, and the player is allowed to determine its fate.

Whatever one may say, starting to play Dragon Age: Inquisition, you will have to go through the Outsider. Other additions can be left out, but familiarity with Trespasser is a must.

Perfection doesn't exist. But that doesn't mean you can't strive for it.

Passed the "stranger" ....

Feelings cannot be expressed in words. But having calmed the storm of emotions, I realized that the DLS is worth the money. For there is so much beauty, so many diverse emotions .. Ah ...

I played my very first character Alita.

For starters, my Alita just froze when Cullen proposed to her. I squeaked like that, gritting my teeth so that the neighbors would not hear. It was unexpected. (I happily avoided spoilers)
And excitedly pressed her hands to her mouth, as if the offer was made to me personally. (Oh, nerd life)

In general, I was so glad to meet all the characters again and find out how they were doing all this time. Varric certainly surprised more than the others.
In general, I went through the whole game in a hurry, which did not prevent me from looking under every stone in search of loot ... Oh, I'm still a looter. I was in a hurry to find Solas and pour out all my anger and indignation on him. (But all the same, every time she ran to Cullen in the expectation that it would be possible to kiss him. It's sad that our general only plays with a dog ... jealousy just wakes up.)

Although it's a little pity that we as a player know who Solas really is, while Inqui herself has no idea. This made it a little difficult to fully immerse yourself in what was happening. But okay.

And now we finally have the pleasure of hearing, and then seeing him in full splendor. Although, God, these leggings ..... But in general, just a handsome man, you immediately believe that he is who he is. The designers did their best. Solas looks majestic. I also really like how he walks with his hands clasped behind his back. From the point of view of psychology, he is relaxed and not a bit afraid for his safety (still, by the power of thought to turn people into stones).

And at that moment, contrary to the initial desire to punch him in the jaw, I was imbued and began to ask a bunch of questions. I shudderedly liked the canon that lined up in the end. It turns out that the ancient elven gods are not gods at all, but powerful magicians (which was not particularly surprising, because there were a lot of theories on this topic), and besides, they still abused their power. And the one who was considered a villain, on the contrary, tried to save his people. It's just that everything went wrong.
This was the first line in a series of his further mistakes, correcting which, he makes everything worse and worse.

He is like a small child (no matter what the ancient "god") is trying to correct his mistakes by rolling back to what was. It's like our old people dream of returning Soviet power. He does not understand that the world has changed and people / elves / others have also changed, but you cannot return the past. And not build a perfect world on a pile of skulls.
Solas is an idealist, but that has been evident before. However, I can't really call him a villain. He is simply delusional and burdened by what he has to do. I believe that deep inside he understands that it won't work anyway. And I, along with my heroine, will desperately try to convince him and open his eyes. (I hope that this is possible in the next game, and also that there is an opportunity not to kill him).

I really want to know how it all ends. Will the world unite with the shadow? Or will the elves go behind the veil?
But I think that Solas will not be the main villain of the next game. Perhaps at first it will seem so, but it turns out that there is someone worse. Maybe we will fight with the elven "Gods". And Solas (after calibration with a fist in the jaw) to help us.

In general, I am for the option of combining the world with the shadow as it was before, but for everyone to live in this world, not only elves. At first, of course, it will be crappy, but then everyone will adapt.

Well, my Alita, having dissolved the Inquisition (which I dreamed about back in the main game), lives happily with her prince. Her duties were too much for her.

« After saving the world of Thedas with the closure of the Gap, the players' next mission will be to determine the future of the Inquisition. The brand suddenly begins to glow, emitting magic associated with the Shadow. Assassins attack from the shadows. And the invasion of enemies begins. In a race against time, players must face evil before it's too late. Set after the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition's main campaign, this new expansion sees players embark on a final adventure with their team to face the one who started it all.”, the description of the add-on says.

BioWare has officially confirmed that The Outsider will be the last pack of new content. The action takes place 2 years after the events in the main game, and gamers will be at the center of the story about " organization of saviors of a world that no longer needs to be saved».

« The new expansion is a chance to meet old friends, meet a new threat, and decide the fate of the Inquisition we've been working on for so long. It may also contain hints about the future of all of Thedas.", - said Mike Laidlaw (Mike Laidlaw), producer of the game.

The release date of the add-on, judging by the trailer, is scheduled for September 8, 2015, according to the site. But the developers did not confirm the release date.
