How to make a rose out of paper? You can easily and quickly make a paper rose with your own hands. Master class: giant paper roses How to make huge roses

Beautiful, delicate roses are a wonderful decoration for any room. But it is not at all necessary to purchase fresh flowers every time. Every year interesting compositions made of corrugated paper become more and more relevant. They look great not only as decoration, but also as an unusual gift or even decoration for a special event.

Delicate bouquet of roses

It is roses that girls most often prefer. Therefore, we suggest together making a beautiful, light and delicate bouquet with your own hands.

For this we will prepare:

  • corrugated paper;
  • scissors;
  • cable;
  • glue gun;
  • tape.

Cut out a long strip of pink paper. Fold it in half three times. You should end up with a rectangle, as shown in the photo.

We cut the upper part into an oval shape and straighten the workpiece.

Carefully wrap the outer edges of the workpiece, as shown in the photo.

In the central part of each petal we stretch the paper a little.

The workpiece should look like in the photo.

We twist the outer edge of the first petal a little.

Cut a piece of cable to the required length. Glue the first petal with a glue gun. Gradually wrap the paper blank around the cable and, if necessary, fix it with glue. The result should be a beautiful rose.

Cut out a small strip of green paper. Fold it in half twice and cut it into a petal shape. We stretch each of them a little in the center.

Glue the petals to the base of the rose with hot glue. We wrap tape over the top and wrap it around the entire cable.

A beautiful rose with your own hands is ready!

We make several more roses in other shades using the same principle. We assemble the composition and place the vase. Be sure that such flowers will definitely decorate your home.

Simple flowers for beginners

Those who are just starting to do needlework should not immediately start overly complex master classes. To begin with, it’s worth practicing.

Necessary materials:

  • wire;
  • scissors;
  • corrugated paper;
  • tape;
  • glue.

Cut out a long strip of paper.

We stretch the upper part of the workpiece a little. Fold the corner of the paper, pressing lightly with your fingers. The result should be beautiful, curly edges.

We roll up the workpiece, forming a rosette. We fix it with glue and wire.

Cut out a thin strip from green paper. It is needed to wrap the stem. We also cut out the leaves and glue them to the rose.

Large roses for decoration

Recently, such flowers are very often used to create a photo zone in the studio or at a wedding event. Also, many people simply put them at home to decorate an empty space.

Let's prepare the following:

  • corrugated paper;
  • scissors;
  • wire;
  • long sticks for stems;
  • floral tape;
  • paper;
  • pencil.

Draw a heart-shaped template on a piece of paper. We cut the corrugated paper into several parts, fold them and put the template on top.

We cut out all the blanks and stretch them with our fingers along the inside. We wrap the wire with floral tape.

We twist the upper sides a little using a pencil. We wrap one petal around the stem and secure it with tape. We attach the remaining petals one by one and secure. Cut out several leaves from paper. We wrap the wire with tape and attach all the leaves.

Cut out a sepal from green paper and tape it to the flower. We also attach a blank with leaves.

This rose looks really amazing!

Shrub rose

A small bush rose is an excellent solution for decorating a gift or just a present for a loved one.

We will prepare the following materials:

  • corrugated paper;
  • scissors;
  • wire;
  • glue.

Cut a strip from burgundy paper. We cut it into several strips, depending on the desired number of petals in the rose.

Take one of the strips and cut the top edge in the form of a semicircle.

Curl the top edge a little.

We stretch the central part of the petal. This must be done very carefully so as not to damage it.

Repeat the same with the remaining petals.

When all the blanks are ready, take one petal and apply the next ones to it one by one.

In this way we make the required number of roses.

Glue green paper petals to the rose.

Cut off a piece of wire.

Cut a long strip of paper. We connect the wire to the flower and wrap it with a green blank.

Cut out several leaves from dark green paper.

We straighten them and prepare the wire, as well as a green strip.

We attach a leaf to the end of the wire and wrap it with a strip of paper, periodically fixing it with glue.

We make several more of these blanks and intertwine them with each other.

Large decorative rose

You will need:

  • corrugated paper;
  • tape;
  • wire;
  • glue gun;
  • scissors;
  • rubber band or rope;
  • pencil;
  • artificial rose leaves.

Cut the strip, fold it in half and trim the corners.

Gently stretch the upper part of the workpiece and wrap it into a bud. Secure with rope or rubber band. If the ends are too long, cut them off.

Cut another strip of paper and fold it several times until you get a rectangle. We cut it so that we get petals. We bend the upper edges of each of them, and stretch the middle.

We insert the wire into the bud and glue the remaining petals to it one by one.

From the lightest paper we cut out blanks in the shape of hearts. We stretch them and twist them, and then attach them to the rose.

Cut out a sepal from paper and curl the edges. We also prepare a long strip of the same color.

Attach the sepals and wrap them with a strip of paper.

Glue artificial leaves to the stem.

In fact, anyone can make a rose from crepe paper. This is not at all difficult as it might seem at first glance. Start with the simplest things, and then everything will definitely work out.

Flowers always bring joy. And big flowers bring twice as much joy! And if these flowers are made with your own hands, then this is an absolute delight! How to make a huge rose out of paper? It's not difficult at all. The main thing is to stock up on corrugated paper and a little patience. Read and repeat after us.

Paper roses are probably made more often than other flowers. Probably because the rose is very beautiful, but a living flower does not please the eye for long. So today we will make a paper rose. Moreover, it will not be just a small rose, but a huge bud on a high stem! By the way, such flowers will be an excellent decoration for any celebration, and are also suitable for an original photo session. So, let's begin! We will need:

  • corrugated paper: any color for the bud and green for the leaves and stem;
  • floral wire;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • green adhesive tape (floral);
  • paper for template.

Since you and I will be making a giant rose out of paper, a giant heart will serve as the template! Draw it on the entire A4 sheet. In addition to these petals, you will need five to six teardrop-shaped petals.

Cut out the template - these will be the flower petals.

Fold the corrugated paper in several layers, place the template on top and staple it with a stapler so that the paper does not slip. Cut out a sufficient number of these petals. Then use your fingers to slightly stretch the petals horizontally to the sides and smooth them out, making small cups in the center.

Using a pencil, fold the edges of the rose petal outward. Just wrap it around a pencil and press it down with your fingers.

Wrap the wire one-third of the way with floral tape. This will be the stem of the rose.

We begin to collect the bud. Take a teardrop petal and glue it to the stem by wrapping it and securing the ends with floral tape. In this way we will secure all subsequent petals. Secure all the petals around, lowering each subsequent petal a couple of millimeters down.

Take one heart-shaped petal and wrap it around the rosebud, securing with floral tape. Repeat until you have used all the petals.

Cut small, spicy green hearts. This will be the cup under the paper rose flower.

Screw them with floral tape to the beginning of the flower, under the petals - this is the base of the cup.

Wrap the rose cup and stem in crepe paper and attach the wire and leaf.

Bridesmaids (and the bride herself) do not have to constantly hold fresh flowers in their hands during the photo shoot. There is an original solution that we will talk about today. How do you like a huge bright paper rose? Unusual photos guaranteed! Thanks to the mastermind Morgan Levine.

Required materials (to make one rose):

– 1 roll of colored adhesive tape
– 6 floral wires
– 4 sheets of double-sided crepe paper for rose petals (can be purchased at any gift wrapping place)
– 1 sheet of green double-sided crepe paper for leaves, flower calyx and stem
- Pencil
– Professional glue
– White paper templates (download pdf version)
– 3 drop-shaped templates
– 8 heart-shaped patterns
– 2 leaf-shaped templates
– 1 core-shaped template

Step 1. Cut out the petals.

We cut out 5-6 petals from colored corrugated paper according to the drop pattern and 5-6 according to the heart pattern.

VERY IMPORTANT: Corrugated paper has "grooves" in a certain direction, so how we cut it is important. Make sure that all parts of the flower, even the smallest ones, are positioned vertically and in the same direction.

We stack 2 sheets of corrugated paper on top of each other, and on top we put one sheet of white paper (template), fasten it with a stapler. I do not recommend cutting templates from more than two folded corrugated sheets. And make sure the cut out shapes are clear enough.

We continue to work with scissors until we cut out all the petals.

Step 2. Making leaves and a cup.

Cut out 3 leaves and one flower cup from green crepe paper.

Step 3. Making stems for the rose.

Take three floral wires and wrap them with colored adhesive tape.

Step 4. Forming rose petals.

Using both hands, pull the paper template outward from the center. This will create the cup of the petal.

Turn the petal over and curl the top of its edges using a pencil.

Step 5. We create a bud - the inner part of the rose.

Take one teardrop shaped petal and secure the ends around the floral wire using duct tape as shown in step 3. Don't be greedy and wrap it well! We do the same with all teardrop-shaped petals.

Step 6. Making the rose “blooming”.

We take one heart-shaped piece and wrap it around the rosebud, securing it with adhesive tape. In this way we fix all the details around the bud, from different sides.

Step 7 Attach the leaves to the stems.

We wrap each of the three parts of the floral wire with green corrugated paper (use glue).
Now we take one leaf and one stem, wrapped with colored adhesive tape (see step 3), and put them on top of each other, glue them. Repeat with the remaining leaves.

Step 8 Add a cup to the rose.

Wrap the green cup around the base of the blooming rose and secure with duct tape.

Let's wrap the ribbon around the entire crepe paper of the cup towards the stem of the rose, just don't touch the top!

Step 9 Add leaves to the rose.

Attach each of the three leaves to the stem of the rose (you will need glue). You can use paper clips to hold the sheets in place while the glue dries.

Ready! In fact, the whole process will not take much time, and as a result you will get a huge, beautiful and bright flower! Don't forget to leave it as a souvenir after the wedding :)

Juliet Khotova

Good morning, guests of my page!

Today I want to show you mine giant roses which I made to decorate our Gymnasium for the holiday “March 8!”

To create these giant beautiful crepe paper roses I needed the following materials: double sided corrugated paper in different colors(I took red, yellow, orange, pink, purple for the flower) ; green corrugated paper(for sepals and leaves); tape – green ribbon; dry decorative branches; pencil; scotch; stapler; templates (I prepared it in advance from cardboard) in the form of a droplet, in the form of a heart and leaves.

Execution order:

We take droplet-shaped and heart-shaped templates and cut them out corrugated paper blanks: five in the form of a drop measuring 10 by 15 cm. and fifteen in the shape of a heart measuring 20 by 25 cm.

Then we take all the petals and twist the edge with a pencil, droplets on top, and hearts on the right and left. We fold the heart-shaped petals a little from the bottom and secure them with a stapler.

Then carefully, with both hands, stretch the middle of each petal.

We take a branch and attach each flower petal one by one, starting with a drop, securing each one with tape until we finish all the petals. We will get a large bud.

Then we take green leaves for the sepals, attach them with tape to the base of the bud and wrap them, securing the tape with tape.

We also attach green leaves to the branch, fixing them at the bottom with tape and wrap the entire branch with tape - green tape.

  • Foil.

Master Class

Preparing the foundation

1. Take a wicker basket and cut out a piece of foam plastic to fit its dimensions.

2. We use crepe paper. It is very thin, which means it bends well without forming unnecessary folds or creases. Using a glue gun, glue the paper to the foam in several places, wrapping it completely. You can use any shade of green.

3. We try it on our basket and at the same time drip hot glue down the sides.

4. If you have a lot of empty space left, then repeat the same manipulations, but with smaller pieces.

5. The basket is ready for use. We will fill it with these flowers.

How to make roses from corrugated paper

We will show you step by step using the example of one rose, and you can already make the quantity that you need.

Cut a strip the entire length of the corrugated paper, 10 cm wide.

Cut the squares. You don’t have to measure and cut the corrugations straight into 1.5 divisions.

We roll one square into 5 layers.

On one side we round the tip.

And stretch it slightly in both directions. We open and pull out the middle, forming a depression, as in the photo.

We put the workpiece aside for now. We bend the remaining squares into 3 parts.

And also round one edge. These will be rose petals.

For one flower we will need from 8 to 12 petals. Take a skewer and slightly stretch the curve on one side. And we twist it.

We do the same with our other half.

We form a depression in the middle by simply stretching the corrugation.

Roll a ball out of foil.

Take a piece of paper approximately 7x14 cm in size.

We form a bow by twisting it. At the base we stretch it a little.

Place a ball of foil and form the base of the bud.

We take a florist checker and break it in half, sharpening the blunt end. If you don't have it on hand, you can use orange sticks for manicure.

We insert the skewer into the ball; it should sit tightly and not move from side to side. You can add a drop of hot glue. Wrap it with thread.

We take our first piece, which we rolled into 5 layers, and wrap it around the bud.

Then we wrap the petals one by one. We get a beautiful rose bud.

But the bottom doesn't look very nice. To remove the bulk, cut off the excess paper with a stationery knife.

Cut a strip 0.5 cm wide from green corrugated paper. At both ends we attach it with glue and wrap it around the stick. We also cut out grass like this from the same paper by eye.

We curl the antennae.

And glue it to the base of the bud.

We take wrapping paper for bouquets, green in color. We cut out a square, approximately 10x10 cm, but you can do it by eye. We bend it in half, and then move one side to the side.

We also attach it closer to the bud, hiding the unattractive base.

We make flowers of 2 shades, in this case red and white. For a basket of our size, approximately 15 cm in diameter, 13 roses were needed.

We stick 2 red roses next to the handles of the basket.

We again insert red flowers between them.

Fill the gaps with white.

We place it inside in a chaotic manner, making sure that large voids do not form.

From above we got a beautiful bouquet, but if you look from the side, everything looks far from aesthetically pleasing.

We form a pound again. Fold the film in half. And we move the front edge to the right.

In the middle, drip a drop of hot glue and glue a toothpick.

Then we bend the pound in half and attach it again with glue.

We stick it on the side of the basket, making a very dense layer so that there are no gaps. It took us about 100-150 toothpicks.

If there are voids between the buds, then we also insert pounds there.

This is how the basket of roses turned out, we hope that our step-by-step instructions were useful to you.
