DIY felt Christmas tree card. DIY New Year card with a felt tree. For the New Year's card "Christmas tree" we will need the following materials

You will need:

Felt (in this case white)

Thread (white and silver or gold) and needle

Scissors

1. Cut out 8 identical circles. To do this, you can draw identical circles on felt using a compass or a pre-prepared cardboard template.

2. Fold all the circles in half and press.

3. Take two circles folded in half and connect them along the central fold using a needle and thread (see image). First, tie a knot - try to keep it on the inside (between the circles). Don't cut the thread.

4. Add two more circles, but spread out - one on top, the other on bottom (see image).

5. Use a needle and thread to connect the added circles - also making seams strictly along the center fold line. The thread also does not need to be cut.

6. Bend the sewn circles and add two more - sew them in the same way as in previous cases, while not forgetting to cut the thread.

7. Repeat the same with the remaining circles. Now you can tie the thread into a knot and cut it.

8. To make a loop for the toy, prepare a silver thread. You can use a thick thread or divide a thin thread into 3 parts, which should be inserted into the eye of the needle.

Starting from the middle, start moving the needle and thread to the top and at the very top make a loop and tie a knot.

Open the circles a little so that the ball turns out smooth and fluffy.

Simple felt Christmas tree

You will need:

Green and brown felt

Glue gun with hot glue (or PVA glue)

Scissors

Needle and thread

1. Using scissors, cut out 5 green felt circles. The largest circle has a diameter of about 10 cm, and the rest go downward (the diameter of each next circle is smaller than the previous one).

2. Cut out a small triangle from each circle (see image).

3. Roll each circle into a cone and secure the ends with glue.

4. Insert a thick thread into the needle and thread it through the smallest cone. Make a loop at the top and tie a knot.

5. Start stacking the cones on top of each other, adding glue to the top of each one. You should start with the largest cone and end with the smallest one.

6. Cut a rectangle measuring 10 cm x 5 cm from brown felt. Roll the rectangle into a tube (widthwise). Secure the ends with glue so that the tube does not unravel. Apply glue to one end of the tube and glue it to the tree (to the bottom cone).

Felt New Year: candies for the Christmas tree

You will need:

Felt in different colors

PVA glue

Ribbon or thread (for hanging toys)

Candy sticks (you can use long matches or half skewers)

1. From felt, cut out several multi-colored strips 1 cm wide and 20 cm long.

2. Place 6 strips of 2-3 colors on top of each other and twist them in a spiral. Secure with glue.

* After you twist the strips, one of them will be much longer than the others.

3. Glue a stick and braid to the back of the resulting “candy” to create a lollipop.

4. To cover the back (the place where the stick and ribbon are glued), cut out a circle from any felt (its diameter is approximately the same as the diameter of the candy) and glue it.

Christmas tree toys made of felt: pinwheels

You will need:

Felt in any two colors

2 beads

Thread and needle

Glue (silicone, hot glue, superglue)

Scissors

1. Cut out two circles of the same color with a diameter of approximately 6 cm.

2. Apply glue to each circle and glue them onto a sheet of felt of a different color. (see image).

3. Cut out circles and remove excess with scissors.

4. Make cuts on four sides of each circle (see image).

5. Bend the ends towards the center and secure with glue - you will get a pinwheel.

6. Repeat the same with the other circle.

7. Glue or sew a bead to the center of each pinwheel.

*You can sew ribbon to hang the ornament on the tree or you can sew a hairpin to the back of the craft to use as an accessory.

New Year's toys made from felt patterns

You will need:

Filler

Toy eyes or small buttons (for eyes)

Thread and needle

1. You can create an elephant template on cardboard and use it to draw an elephant on felt and cut it out.

2. After you have cut out the elephant's body, cut out ears and small hearts from another felt, which you will then sew to the body. For the ears, use light and dark pink (for the inside and outside).

* For one elephant you need: 2 body parts, 2 dark pink and 2 light pink ear parts, 1-2 hearts and a filler.

3. First sew the dark and light pink parts of the ears to each other.

4. Start sewing the ears and hearts onto both sides of the body (see image).

5. Glue and sew 2 small buttons to the halves of the elephant’s body.

6. Using a needle and thread, connect the halves and leave a little space for the filler.

8. Sew on the braid so that the toy can be hung on the Christmas tree.

Felt Christmas tree

You will need:

Cone made of foam or cardboard

Scissors

Pins or beads

1. Make a circle template from cardboard and use it to draw and cut out several felt circles.

2. Prepare a cone and, starting from the bottom, glue a row of circles - some circles slightly cover the others (see image).

3. Insert a pin or glue a bead into the center of each circle.

5. You can glue one circle on top of the head, and several more around it.

Felt crafts New Year: stars

You will need:

Wool threads

Beads or seed beads

Filler

Safety pin

1. Draw a star about 8 cm across on paper. You don't have to draw a perfect star, it can be a little sloppy drawn. This will be your template.

2. Place the template on a sheet of felt and trace it with chalk or marker. Draw as many stars as possible - close to each other.

3. Cut out all the stars.

4. Take two stars, place one on top of the other, secure with a pin and connect with a thread and a needle. Leave some space for filling.

5. Fill the star with stuffing and sew up the hole.

6. Start sewing beads or seed beads onto the stars. Make any patterns that come to mind.

7. Thread a wool thread through one end of the star and make a loop so that the craft can be hung.

* You can wrap a woolen thread around part of the star's ray.

Simple Christmas crafts made from felt

You will need:

Wool thread and needle

Scissors

1. Cut the felt into several squares or circles (or other shape).

2. Take a needle and thread and start stringing the shapes. You will need about 50 pieces for one decoration.

3. Tie the thread in a knot and you can hang the decoration on the wall or Christmas tree.

Felt Christmas tree decorations: decorative mittens

You will need:

2-3 sheets of felt

Thread and needle

Naponitel

*You can make one or two decorative mittens.

1. Draw a mitten on paper and cut it out.

2. Using a paper template (pin the mitten to the felt), cut out 4 mittens from the felt - 2 for the right hand and 2 for the left.

3. Take a thread and a needle and start connecting two mittens into one full one. Leave some space for the filler (it’s better to do this at the bottom of the mitten, near the wrist).

4. Fill the mittens with filler.

5. Using a thread and a needle, you can “draw” snowflakes or write words or a year on the mittens.

6. Now cut 2 squares from felt of a different color - the size of the side of the square is slightly larger than the width of the lower part of the mitten (wrist).

7. Fold each square in half and pin it to each mitten, inserting a ribbon between the mitten and the square (see image). The braid connects both mittens.

* If you decide to make only one mitten, then the braid can be used to create a loop so that the decoration can be hung on the Christmas tree, for example.

Stages of completing the craft:

1. Fold white A4 cardboard in half widthwise. Cut a rectangle from cardboard with a pattern smaller than the size of the postcard blank. Glue the fun cardstock onto the front of the card.

2. Prepare pieces of braid equal to the length of the sides of the fun cardboard rectangle. Glue the braid around the perimeter of the decorative rectangle with PVA glue.

3. Transfer 25 identical parts onto green felt - patterns of spruce paws, reminiscent of a pear in shape. Cut out these parts.

4. Start forming the lower tier of spruce feet. To do this, take 10 parts and arrange them evenly in the form of a fan. Check the location of the parts, find the best option and only then fix the parts with glue.

5. From the following 7 parts, make the second tier of the Christmas tree.

6. Each subsequent tier should be smaller than the previous one. Therefore, in the next tier, use only 5 parts. Distribute them evenly and symmetrically around the central axis.

7. Glue the last 3 pieces to form the top tier.

8. Glue a button to the top of the tree instead of a traditional ornament.

9. Glue sequins to the paws of the Christmas tree. So multi-colored balls appeared on our Christmas tree.

All that remains is to hand the postcard to the recipient.
Thank you for your attention!

With the upcoming holidays approaching, there is a great opportunity to make your own greeting cards. Such cards are pleasant to both give and receive.

Surprise your family and friends with a handmade New Year's card. It's not at all difficult to create. And material for implementing creative ideas can be found in every home.

For the New Year's card "Christmas tree" we will need the following materials:

  • Cardboard – A4 sheet
  • felt - rectangle size 10 * 7 cm
  • PVA glue or glue gun (hot glue)
  • glue brush
  • scissors
  • beads
  • satin ribbons - leftovers
  • ready-made inscriptions "Happy New Year"
  • sewing thread
  • decorative element - a piece of golden mesh

Let's start by making the base of the card.

Take good thick paper - whatman paper or cardboard. If the sheet is thin, it will not be possible to glue decorative elements to it.
Fold a sheet of cardboard in half.

Fold the felt sheet in half and cut out a triangle. This will be the basis for the felt Christmas tree.

Glue the satin ribbons to the bottom of the card using PVA glue. Apply glue to the back side of the tape and distribute well over the surface.

Glue satin ribbon horizontally at the top of the card.

Let the ribbons dry a little and start decorating the Christmas tree.
Let's take our blank - a triangle. Using thread and needle, sew on the beads. Small parts can be glued using hot glue, but it will be more reliable to simply sew them on.

As you sew on the beads, insert a decorative mesh in several rows.

Sew bright yellow beads all over the felt tree.

Apply PVA glue to the felt from the wrong side and glue it to the paper base.

Let's make an inscription. To do this, print out the inscription “Happy New Year” on a printer. Cut it out.

From the remaining felt, cut out a rectangle slightly larger than the paper lettering. Give the edges of the part a rounded look.

Glue the felt to the card.

Glue a paper inscription onto the felt.

Postcard “Cockerel” using quilling technique

To make the “Cockerel” postcard you will need:

  • multi-colored strips for quilling;
  • glue;
  • a sheet of cardboard for the base;
  • pencil or template;
  • decorations and decor.

Step 1. On thick paper you need to draw a drawing of a cockerel.

Step 2. Twist each strip according to the instructions and, after dropping a drop of glue to prevent the bobbin from unwinding, give it the desired shape with your fingers.

Step 3. Having made a lot of bobbins, you can begin to “assemble” the cockerel, filling the space of the drawing, simply by gluing paper parcels onto the most common PVA glue.

Step 4. When the cockerel is already ready, you can add some chic to the card by decorating it with sparkles, beads, snowflakes, ribbons and other cute decorative elements. You can also write wishes for happiness in the New Year.

New Year card using corrugated paper

To make a New Year's card from corrugated paper you will need:

  • colored cardboard or colored thick paper;
  • corrugated paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue or double-sided tape;
  • any decorations you wish (beads, sequins, seed beads, sparkles, etc.).

Step 1. Fold a sheet of cardboard or thick paper in half.

Step 2. Using a simple pencil or double-sided tape (if you take double-sided tape, you won’t need glue), you need to outline a certain layout of the future Christmas tree.

Step 3. Prepare rectangular pieces of corrugated paper of different lengths.

Step 4. Glue the strips of corrugated paper a little so that you get a Christmas tree.

Step 5. All that remains is to decorate the card to your taste and/or add a cute inscription wishing you happy holidays.

To make an embroidered New Year's card you will need:

  • a sheet of cardboard for the base of the card;
  • knitting threads or floss of different colors;
  • button, needle or pin;
  • masking tape;
  • printout of words or drawing;
  • small decorations.

Step 1. Fold a piece of cardboard or construction paper in half.

Step 2. Print out the words or design you want to embroider and temporarily attach it to the card using masking tape.

Step 3. Now very carefully use a needle or pin to make holes along the contour of the inscription or design.

Step 4. To fill the design with embroidery, use different colored threads and a sewing needle. It is advisable to first “outline” the outline, and then “color” the inside.

Step 5. When the card is ready, you can slightly embellish it to your taste using ribbons, bows, beads, etc.

New Year card made of threads

To make a postcard from thread you will need:

  • thick colored paper or cardboard;
  • knitting threads (preferably thick and different colors);
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • decorations and decor.

Step 1. Fold a sheet of colored cardboard in half and set it aside for now.

Step 2. The threads need to be cut into pieces of different lengths (in descending or increasing order).

Step 3. Now you can start gluing the threads, starting with the longest, and gradually moving up and adding threads of shorter lengths to complete the thread herringbone. Alternate colors as you like.

Step 4. Glue a couple of small pieces of thread of the same length under the base of the Christmas tree to depict the trunk of a New Year's tree.

Step 5. A few beads or sequins will look good on such a laconic Christmas tree.

DIY New Year's card “Geometric Christmas tree”

To make a “Geometric Herringbone” postcard you will need:

  • a thick sheet of white paper (ideally green cardboard on one side and white on the other);
  • stationery knife;
  • ruler and pencil or printout of the drawing.

Step 1. Fold the cardboard in half with the green color on the inside.

Step 2. Using a pencil and a ruler, try to draw a triangle evenly, and divide it inside into small identical triangles. It will be easier to draw diagonal lines - first in one direction and then in the other, retreating the same distance.

Step 4. Using a utility knife, carefully cut out the triangles without touching the base.

Step 5. Now fold the small triangles down from the outside of the card. The original New Year's greeting card is ready!

Postcard for the New Year 2017 “Accordion Christmas tree”

To make a postcard “Fir-tree-accordion” you will need:

  • thick colored paper or colored cardboard;
  • colored paper (you can take green or any other color);
  • scissors;
  • glue or double-sided tape;
  • various decorations (glitters, tinsel, sequins, etc.).

Step 1. Fold a sheet of cardboard in half - this is the base of the postcard. After folding the thick paper, set it aside for now.

Step 2. From green (or other) colored paper you need to cut out six rectangles of the same length, but different heights (each next rectangle should be 2 cm smaller than the previous one).

Step 3. Now fold each of the rectangles into an accordion shape. Try to make the accordion “step” the same for all rectangles.

Step 4. Fold each accordion in half and, starting from the largest to the smallest, glue it inside the card at the fold from bottom to top.

Step 5. To top it off, snowflakes, sparkles and so on. If you wish, you can write a few warm words or a nice phrase with congratulations.

New Year's card "Fir trees made of felt"

To make a felt postcard you will need:

  • sheets of felt of different colors;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • colored cardboard or colored thick paper.

Step 1. Cut strips, trapezoids, or triangles of felt from felt in different colors and sizes (observing the order of increasing or decreasing the size).

Step 2. Now you can glue all the details and, if desired, add glitter or write congratulations on the New Year and Christmas holidays.

To make a postcard with buttons you will need:

  • a sheet of thick paper or cardboard;
  • buttons of different sizes;
  • multi-colored glossy paper;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • decorations.

Step 1. Glue buttons onto a sheet of cardboard so that you get the outline of a Christmas tree.

Step 2. Cut out squares of different sizes from multi-colored paper - these will be gifts that need to be glued under the button Christmas tree.

Step 3. All that remains is to decorate the card to your taste and you can give it away!
