Potatoes - 1 kilogram;
Onions - 1 large onion;
Chicken egg - 1 piece;

Step 1. Prepare food. Peel the onions, cut off the shoots and rinse thoroughly, and peel the potatoes completely. Some people prefer to boil potatoes in their skins and then peel off the skins - for some it is easier. But in this recipe it is better not to do this, because under the skin the starch is distributed in a slightly different way and the peel gives a certain taste to the root vegetable. Step 2. You need to boil the potatoes. Put the potatoes in a large saucepan and fill them with water to the top, salt the water. To speed up the process, you can cut the potatoes into small, equal pieces - they will cook more quickly. Boil until cooked.


If you still have fried potatoes, boiled or even mashed potatoes, this is great, they can replace some or even all of the potatoes. Please note that we will be making mashed potatoes later, so if you plan to use the leftover mashed potatoes, you need to mix them later, in the ready-made mixture, and reduce the amount of milk and butter added proportionally.

Step 3. Meanwhile, chop the onion into small cubes. Put the onions in a hot skillet, drizzled with vegetable oil and, stirring occasionally, fry until golden brown. When the onion is ready, carefully put the minced meat in small portions - it should be fried, not boiled, so watch the temperature and stirring - the juice should not come out at all. Close to the end of cooking, salt and pepper the minced meat.



Step 4. When the potatoes are cooked, drain the liquid from it and pour milk into it, put a piece of butter. Use a potato grinder or blender to mash the potatoes into the smoothest, smoothest puree possible. Cool the finished puree slightly, then stir in the raw chicken egg and, if necessary, add a little salt and pepper.



Step 5. Now, take a baking dish and use a kitchen brush to brush it well with butter or vegetable oil. You can lay out the form with parchment, so that later you can easily get the casserole out of the form, then you will need to grease it with oil.

Place half of the mashed potatoes in the dish. You need to smooth it out in a uniform, even layer, and then compact it well with your hands.

Homemade or beef minced meat - 350 grams;
Homemade lecho - 100 grams;
Onions - 1 large onion;
