Let's start with something sweet. It would seem, what kind of recipe is there: defrost it, roll it out, add apples and you’re done. However, it’s the details that make a dish, and from the same set of products you can create completely different desserts, and a beautiful presentation will even turn it into a restaurant dish.

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry - 1 package;
  • Apple - 3-4 pieces;
  • Sugar - 3-4 tablespoons (depending on the sweetness of the apples and your taste);
  • Nuts - 1 tablespoon (chopped);
  • Cognac - 1 tablespoon (optional);
  • Egg - 1 piece.

A layer pie with apples from ready-made dough is prepared in just a few steps:

  1. Remove the dough from the freezer and defrost completely.
  2. In the free time we have, we prepare the filling. We thoroughly wash the apples, peel them (if desired, you can leave the peel for color), remove the core, and cut into thin slices. Then pour the resulting mass with cognac and return to the melted dough. If you don’t have cognac or don’t plan to include it in the preparation, it is advisable to sprinkle the slices with lemon juice so that they retain their snow-white color.
  3. Lightly sprinkle a work surface with flour and roll out a sheet of softened dough on it. It will bake best if it reaches a thickness of 3-4 mm.
  4. Now we come to the most important thing, the preparation: lightly coat the mold with oil, place the rolled out dough on it, pierce it in several places with a fork so that during the baking process the dough fits well and does not tear. Arrange the apple slices, then sprinkle them with a mixture of sugar and almonds.
  5. In principle, you can complete the process here, leaving the pie open. If the second layer has thawed and you don’t want to put it back in the freezer, you can use it for decoration.
  6. Roll out the remaining layer and cut into thin strips. You can make a kind of braid, simply lay it out crosswise or diagonally. The taste will not suffer at all even if you cover it with a whole rolled out layer, pinching the edges. But in this case, do not forget to pierce the top layer with a fork.
  7. The final touch is to brush the surface with beaten egg. This will guarantee the appearance of a beautiful and appetizing golden brown crust. If desired, you can sprinkle the top with additional sugar.
  8. Place the pie in an oven preheated to 220 degrees. This temperature is needed so that the dough rises well and we get a multi-layer structure. A lower one will not allow the dough to rise, and a too high one will simply burn it.

After about 15 minutes you should look for the first time, but the pie will be ready in about 25 minutes. Serve it cooled, sprinkled with powdered sugar or a mixture of powder and cinnamon. The latter, by the way, can be added to the filling instead of cognac.

Apple baking with yeast dough

Lush, incredibly delicious and incredibly simple. You don't need any exotic products for apple pie; everything is always on hand. The formula for preparing it is incredibly simple: a little time + a little effort + a little inspiration, and that’s it, you’re done!

Ingredients:

  • Yeast dough - 1 package;
  • Apples - 3-4 pieces;
  • Egg - 1 piece;
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoons;
  • Butter (margarine) - 10-15 grams for greasing the pan.

Here we follow the same algorithm:

  1. While the dough is defrosting, prepare the filling. Wash the apples, peel them, get rid of the “entrails”, and cut them into small cubes.
  2. Roll out the dough and place it on a greased pan, pierce it a couple of times with a fork. Don't forget to form the sides.
  3. If you have a little time and inspiration, you can lightly simmer the filling in butter by caramelizing it in sugar. To do this, heat the frying pan well, heat the butter on it and then lay out the apples. Reduce the heat and let it simmer a little under the lid, then sprinkle it with sugar and keep it in the pan for a couple more minutes. Let the filling cool slightly, then place it on the adze. These steps can be skipped by adding fresh cubes sprinkled with sugar.
  4. We decorate the top of the pie with ordinary strips of rolled out dough, braids or any other way suggested by your imagination.
  5. Brush the surface with beaten egg and place the baked goods in a well-heated oven for 20-25 minutes. Moreover, half the time it should be cooked at maximum temperature, and the second - at approximately 170 degrees. This is done so that the dough first rises and then bakes thoroughly.

Cabbage

A great option for a quick snack or dinner, especially if you make the filling in advance. With this dish you can make your diet more varied, especially when it comes to the period of fasting, when the range of acceptable foods is not so large. Just remove the egg and the cake meets all the strictest requirements.

Ingredients:

  • Ready puff pastry - 1 package;
  • Cabbage - 300-400 grams;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Pepper and any other spices - to taste;
  • Onion - 1 piece;
  • Carrots - 1 piece;
  • Vegetable oil - for frying;
  • Egg - 1 piece.

Baking with cabbage couldn't be easier, especially if the cabbage is already prepared. If you need to cook everything from scratch, we do it in several stages:

  1. We leave our dough to defrost while we prepare the filling ourselves. If we have fresh cabbage, then this will take very little time.
  2. peel carrots and onions. Finely chop the cabbage and onion, grate the carrots (choose the size depending on your personal preferences).
  3. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan and add vegetables, salt and pepper. This point is fundamentally important, because if you put vegetables in cold oil, they will become saturated with it and become too fatty. Simmer until soft and let cool.
  4. You can decorate the pie in several ways: make a closed one according to the principle described above, roll the dough with the filling into small rolls and lay it out like a snail, roll out the layer, making cuts along the edges, put the filling in the center and wrap the top layer with a pigtail.
  5. Brush the top with beaten egg and place in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees until browned.

If desired, you can add fried mushrooms, hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped sausage or frankfurters to the cabbage filling. It can be served either warm or cold. Sour cream is an ideal addition to the pie.

Fish

Another version of a salty snack based on puff pastry. There are a huge number of variations on this theme, because for the filling you can use canned food, cooked or raw fillet, mixing them with a variety of favorite products. The beauty of fish is that it goes perfectly with vegetables, rice, and potatoes. Even on its own, seasoned with herbs and sprinkled with cheese, it will be unsurpassed. So, during the cooking process, you can stick to the recipe below, or create your own unique dish.

Ingredients:

  • ready-made puff pastry - 1 package;
  • egg - 3 pieces;
  • canned fish - 1-2 cans;
  • potatoes - 4 pieces;
  • hard cheese - 150 grams.

Cooking steps:

  1. Take the dough out of the refrigerator to defrost.
  2. Peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes and boil until tender. Whether you mash it or put it directly into the pie in cubes is a matter of your taste, so you can either mash the potatoes or simply drain the water and leave to cool.

The fastest option would be a mince pie, especially if you have a small amount of ready-made mince. 20-30 minutes and a wonderful snack or breakfast is ready.

Ingredients:

  • Ready-made puff pastry - 1 package;
  • Minced meat - 400 grams;
  • Mushrooms - 300 grams (optional);
  • Tomatoes - 2 large;
  • Onion - 1 piece;
  • Vegetable oil for frying.

We already know the method for preparing the dough: defrost and roll out. Preparing the filling is also not at all difficult:

  1. Grind the meat through a meat grinder, add salt and pepper. If we use ready-made frozen, defrost it in a special mode in the microwave.
  2. Cut the onion into half rings and sauté. You can marinate in boiling water and vinegar for 20 minutes or just pour boiling water over it, so the bitterness will go away immediately.
  3. Cut the mushrooms (champignons) into slices and fry in a well-heated frying pan in a small amount of vegetable oil.
  4. We put the dough in a greased form, make high sides and begin to lay out the filling: minced meat, then onions, the third layer will be mushrooms, and the last layer will be thoroughly washed and cut into rings tomatoes (you can first pour boiling water over them and remove the skin).
  5. You can leave the pie uncovered or cover it with a second layer of dough, but in this case, be sure to make holes or pierce the surface with a fork in several places to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees. Serve with sour cream or any other sauce you like.

Vanilla crackers - they can be purchased in specialized stores, or can be replaced with crumbs of buns, dried and ground in a blender, or crumbs of white bread with added sugar. Apples of any variety – 1 kg;

Sugar – 100 grams;

Cooking time – 30 minutes.

Cooking method:

1. Cut the pre-washed apples into small pieces.

2. Divide the puff pastry into larger and smaller pieces. Roll out most of it and place in the prepared pan, greased with butter. The edges of the dough in some way should even protrude beyond the sides.

3. Sprinkle the dough with vanilla breadcrumbs.

4. Place all the apples on the dough in a relatively thick layer and sprinkle with sugar.

5. Cover the mold with a second smaller layer of dough and pinch the edges tightly.

6. The oven should be heated to a temperature of 180 degrees, the cake will cook for 30 minutes.

Recipe 3. Puff pastry pie with apples

Ingredients:

Ready-made puff pastry dough (450 grams) – 2 layers. Typically, this dough is sold in the amount of two plates per package;

Medium apples – 3-4 pcs.;

Sugar – 2 tbsp.

Cooking method:

1. Cut the apples into small cubes.

2. Defrost the dough, roll it out into a layer of the required size.

3. Grease the prepared pan with butter. It could even be a frying pan.

4. Place the apples on the dough and sprinkle sugar on top.

Ingredients:

Puff pastry (non-yeast) - 250 grams;

Sweet and sour green or yellow apples - 2 large;

Butter - 2 tbsp;

Sugar – 2 tsp;

Ingredients:

Ready-made puff pastry – 1 layer;

Apple – 2 pieces;

Banana - 1 piece;

Pears – 1 piece;

Sugar – 2 tbsp;

Walnuts – 2 tbsp.

Cooking time – 1 hour 20 minutes.

Cooking method:

1. Cut apples, bananas and pears into small pieces. In fact, you can use all of these fruits or each individually, depending on what you have in your refrigerator.

2. Mix chopped fruits, nuts and sugar.

3. Divide the defrosted dough into 3 parts approximately 10-12 cm wide and roll into layers.

4. Place a mixture of fruits on each layer and wrap it with a flagellum. You can use not a mixture of fruits, but a separate fruit in each layer.

5. Place all the flagella one by one on the base of the multicooker greased with butter.

6. Grease the top with yolk.

7. This pie is prepared in the “Baking” mode for 1 hour, then turned over and cooked for another 20 minutes. By the way, this recipe can be prepared in the oven in 20 minutes.

Recipe 6. Traditional layer pie with apples in a slow cooker

Ingredients:

Apples – 8 pcs. In general, the more apples, the better;

Flour – 1 tbsp;

Sugar – 1 tbsp;

Powdered sugar – 1 tbsp;

Semolina – 1 tbsp.;

Baking powder – 2 tsp. If you don’t happen to have it, then baking soda quenched with vinegar will fully replace it.

Butter.

Cooking time – 1 hour 10 minutes.

Cooking method:

1. Grate the apples on a coarse grater or chop them finely.

2. Grease the multicooker bowl with butter.

3. The dough in this case will be a mixture of sugar, semolina, flour and baking powder.

How to make apple pie from puff pastry without yeast

If you bought frozen dough in advance, remove it from the freezer. And in any case, the frozen semi-finished product must be thawed. This will take up to 5 hours at room temperature. If you put the dough on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator up to 10. But in warm water up to 3.

The dough should be placed in warm water in a tightly tied plastic bag, defrosted on the table on a cutting board without packaging, and in the refrigerator in the original (store-bought) packaging.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Line a warm baking sheet with parchment and place one part on it. Place the apples beautifully on top. When laying apples, leave at least 4–5 centimeters of space around the edges (without apples).

Now you need to prepare cinnamon sugar: to do this, mix the amount of sugar with cinnamon, stir the mixture well. Sprinkle the mixture generously over the apples. During the baking process, the apples will release juice, mix with sugar and cinnamon, resulting in a kind of apple caramel.

Fold the second part of the dough in half and make slanting, even cuts on the fold with a sharp knife.

Now carefully unfold the layer and place it on top of the pie. To ensure that the edges are pinched well, moisten them with a little water.

Let's start decorating. This simple decoration will make our pie attractive in appearance, and will also allow the filling to breathe (the dough will not be too wet). To do this, carefully move the cuts one at a time. If you don't rush, it will turn out perfectly smooth.

Separate the yolk from the white, shake the yolk, and brush the top of the pie with it.

The oven has already warmed up well, you can put the cake in, we will bake it for 15–20 minutes without adding temperature (at 200 C). It should look like this.

Pie with apples and cottage cheese made from puff pastry is also very easy to prepare, but the taste of this pastry is completely different. This dessert is appropriate on a holiday table and is perfect for friendly gatherings. It can also be used to feed children (there are many benefits here and it’s also delicious).

Preparing such a pie is quick and easy, and if you use a ready-made frozen semi-finished product, it’s not at all troublesome.

An apple pie made from puff pastry will only require patience and adherence to the cooking sequence.

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese – 200 g;
  • Apples – 3 pcs.;
  • Sugar – 150 g;
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • Sour cream (thick) – 150 g;
  • Starch (potato) – 120 g;
  • Salt – 10 g;
  • Syrup (fruit, very thick) or honey – 60 g;
  • Puff pastry – 400–500 g.

Preparation:

  1. For baking, puff pastry without yeast should already be defrosted and at room temperature.
  2. We will need an oven preheated to 180 C, turn it on in advance.
  3. Let's prepare the filling: take sugar and eggs, beat until white in a blender. Add starch, salt, cottage cheese and sour cream to the mixture, and mix again until smooth. Let's put the filling aside for now.
  4. Cut the apples into halves, remove the seeds, and peel the peel. Cut into thick slices.
  5. Roll out the semi-finished product (no need to divide it into parts), place it on a warm baking sheet, on parchment. Be sure to make high sides around the edges so that the filling does not spill onto the baking sheet.
  6. Then pour a mixture of cottage cheese, eggs and sour cream onto the dough.
  7. Place apple slices on top of the mixture; it’s better to place them tightly, they will slightly fall into the liquid filling, no big deal.
  8. Pour syrup or honey over the apples (from a spoon). If there is any syrup left, it’s okay, it’s better not to pour too much, but the apples should be covered evenly and completely.
  9. Place the pie prepared in this way in the oven for 30 minutes, on the middle shelf. The temperature should be no more than 180 C so that the apples do not burn.
  • Well-thawed dough is soft, elastic, it bends and rolls out easily.
  • Always roll out the dough while it is still cold, this makes it easier to handle.
  • Bake the puff pastries on the middle rack until the tops are browned.

My mother told me the recipe for this puff pastry apple pie. We decided to bake something delicious for our morning coffee. Not long before, while in St. Petersburg, my mother tried strudel in one of the coffee shops, but she was not impressed. She said that in this recipe everything turns out much tastier, although the essence is the same - dough and apples.   • Yeast-free puff pastry - 1 package (2 layers, ready-made)
  • Apple - 4 pcs. (medium, sweet and sour)
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp. spoons (it is better to use brown, with caramel flavor)
  • Vanillin - to taste
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Egg - 1 pc. (to grease the top of the cake)
  • Baking paper

How to make a pie with apples from puff pastry without yeast a la apple strudel:

  1. Core the apples. You can leave the peel, but if it is too hard, we will remove it. Cut into small cubes.
  2. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add chopped apples. Add sugar, and after a minute add cinnamon and vanilla. Stir and cover for 10 minutes, reducing heat to medium. The apples should simmer a little and become soft. After this, remove the lid, add heat and evaporate excess moisture for 5-7 minutes. You should get an apple mass. If you wish, you can grind it to a puree. Let it cool and our puff pastry apple pie filling is ready.
  3. On a work surface or wide board, roll out a layer of yeast-free dough into a rectangle, several millimeters thick. Visually divide the rectangle in half along the wide edge. On one half we make cuts every 2-3 cm, stepping back from the edge, and 2-3 cm before the visual middle. Place the filling on the other half, leaving a margin to join the edge of the pie. Distribute the filling evenly. Now grease the edge where the filling is located with a brush or just with your fingers with water, cover with the half with the slits and pinch the edges so that when baking the filling of our pie is safe and sound. Repeat this step for the second layer of puff pastry.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (top and bottom heat). We cut out a sheet of baking paper of the required length to cover the sheet on which we will bake. We transfer our pies onto paper and then onto a baking sheet. Beat the egg with a fork and brush each pie with a brush so that it turns out rosy and beautiful. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a wonderful aroma of apples and cinnamon appears.
