Weaving from newspaper tubes for beginners step by step. Stand for a bottle of wine made from newspaper tubes Stand for champagne from newspaper tubes

This wine bottle holder will be a great addition to your holiday table. It is very light and easy to make. And it will harmonize well with your interior.

For work we will need:
- newspaper.
- skewer.
- scissors.
- paper.
- gouache or watercolor paints.
- universal glue "Titan".
- brush for painting.

Let's get to work. We take newspaper and cut it into strips measuring 10x40 cm. This length is enough for our tube.

We take a skewer and begin to carefully wind the newspaper onto it. Roll tightly and slowly. Don't forget to hold the edges of the newspaper and skewer.

When we have twisted the entire tube, to prevent it from unwinding, we glue the end of the newspaper to the tube.

We prepare a large number of tubes at once.

We cut out the base for the stand from paper. We take a square 28x28 cm, two sides, bottom and right, will also remain twenty-eight cm. On the left side we measure 14 cm. And cut from the right base to the left marked point. The cut should be 31 cm. This will be the basis for the wine stand.

One by one, we begin to glue the tubes to the base. Let the glue dry well.

Well, our base is ready.

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 9.5 cm from thick cardboard. This will be the bottom for the stand. On the side that will be inside the stand, glue plain white paper. We connect and glue the base of the stand. Insert and glue the bottom to the bottom dew edge.

When the glue dries, we begin to decorate the stand. To do this, let's take a tube. Squeeze the tube so that it becomes flat. And we start gluing from the top. Pasting only around the edge.

Let's start painting the stand. We will have 2 colors to paint, white and brown. The first layer will be white. We paint over everything so that the letters on the newspaper are not visible. When the paint has dried and there is no trace left of the reminder of the newspapers, we proceed to the next painting. We take brown paint and paint everything again. We are waiting for the paint to dry. We paint the inner walls of the stand with the same paint.

When the paint inside dries, our stand for a bottle of wine will be ready.

In every home, all sorts of storage boxes and simply beautiful bottles, jars, and caskets are not superfluous. How to make ordinary things beautiful, original and so that it is not expensive for the family budget? With your own hands, of course!
In this master class I will show you how to braid a bottle without a bottom. In fact, the shape can be any other (jar, vase, flower pot).
To work you will need:
newspaper tubes, PVA glue and glue stick, stapler, clothespins or binders, water-based paint, acrylic varnish, hemp rope

A few words about what kind of paper to choose, I tried paper of different densities and came to the conclusion that the thinner the paper, the thinner the tubes are, and accordingly the product turns out more elegant, vine-like.
Help: Paper density determines the weight of a sheet of paper in grams, having an area of 1 m2. The main types of papers used in offset printing have a density from 60 to 300 g/m2. Newsprint has a density of 45 to 60 g/m2, a sheet of ordinary office paper has a density of 80 g/m2,
In this case, I used paper with a density of 45 g/m2, it is very good to weave from cash register tape, in this case no additional painting of the product is required, you can immediately varnish it. In general, you can weave magazines, newspapers, cash register tape, fax paper, office paper from anything.

We cut the paper into strips 7cm wide
How to roll straws: I I just twist with my fingers, some people use a thin knitting needle, you need to try it, depending on who you are comfortable with.

You need a lot of tubes, so we have to be patient and twist and twist...
I braided the bottle and jar without the bottom.
Therefore, I take a tube, extend it (insert the thin end of the tube into the thicker one, after dropping a drop of glue there) with another one and close it into a ring that fits the diameter of the bottle. Now I attach the future racks to the ring using a stapler (you can just use glue). So we fill the entire space of the ring with an interval between the posts of 2 - 2.5 cm. Their quantity also depends on the method of weaving, I braided the bottle with a “rope” in 2 tubes, and the jar partly with a “rope” and partly with a simple “chintz” weave. In the "calico" weaving of tubes there must be an odd number!

We put the ring with the tubes on the bottle and secure it with an elastic band

Now the most difficult thing is to weave the first row, here you need to get creative, at the same time hold the tubes so that they do not fall apart and weave tightly, over time it turns out better and better.

Then we weave, it’s a little easier, after the 2-3rd row the tubes don’t run apart, it’s a pleasure to weave. It is very simple to extend working tubes and stands: insert the thin end of the tube into the thick one (you can drop a little glue) and you can continue weaving.
You need to make sure that the racks do not move to the side; you can even mark them on the bottle with a marker. The weaving should be tight; each row should be carefully pulled up by the tubes of the stand. Just don’t be too zealous, otherwise it might break, then it’s more difficult, you’ll have to glue it back, everything can be fixed, of course, but it will cause inconvenience. So, we have woven it to the handle (well said :)) We leave two tubes in the place where we plan to make handles (in my case there are 2). We glue another tube of thicker paper and begin to wrap it around the tube (it’s better to crush the tube first so that it becomes flat). Then another layer to compact the handle and make it more durable.

When the handles have been braided, we return to the main weave, weave until the weave begins to narrow at the neck, weave in the ends of the handles, weave a few more rows, and then reduce the number of stand-up tubes, weave through one (then we simply cut off the unnecessary ones) . We braid it all the way to the neck and wrap the neck with a tube, gluing the edge. The neck of the bottle, to make it more decorative, will also be wrapped in rope. That's it, the bottle is ready, you can paint and varnish!

Brownie Kuzmich. Gift packaging for a bottle. Master class on weaving from newspapers.

Cute bearded man Brownie Kuzmich - gift packaging for a bottle of alcoholic drink, such as champagne. In the future it can be used as interior decor. This cute souvenir will also become a keeper of the hearth.

2. weave a round bottom. I have a diameter of 14 cm. We lift the racks one at a time. And we begin to weave a rope from 2 tubes

3. weave any pattern. and for narrowing. As a form, I use something narrower than the bottom so that the risers taper evenly on all sides.

4. We have woven the desired height of the body and begin to weave the head. as a bowl shape. We braid the head up to half for now. so that you can freely put your hand inside.

7. cut and glue the ends)))) insert the risers for the handles and glue the working tube.

8. weave the handle with spiral weaving, bend and glue the ends inward and insert a stick so that there is a hole for the palm. then we insert the palm itself inside onto the glue

9. Now you can prime and patch the inside with a long small brush. otherwise we won’t get through later)))

10. We finish the head and leave a hole for the bottle. We weave several rows up adding a couple of rows in front. that it would be oblique. cut the posts and glue them.

11. we weave a hat. we add the desired height to the stand, spread it apart and weave the brim.

12. We bend whatever you like. My tubes were short, so you won’t get loose)))

13. hairs. we braid a rope. cut several identical pieces and glue them with hot glue. and so on until we have pasted a sufficient amount of the long circumference of the head. then we turn our braid with hair over and bend it with glue

14. Glue the hairs around the circumference of the head and tie them with a string to press the glue. and I screwed my beard onto a wire through my nose.

15. glue whatever you like to the handles;)

- this is a new type of needlework, having mastered which you will be able to create real masterpieces. Modern craftswomen weave not only paper baskets, but also beautiful animals, ships with sails, doll houses and even bird feeders. We advise beginners to first master the technique of twisting the tubes themselves, and then try to make a stand for notebooks from newspapers.

How to make newspaper tubes

Completely different types of paper are suitable for preparing tubes. The ideal option is a clean office one, since it is non-toxic and it is much easier to repaint it in any other color. To work you will need a knitting needle, scissors and glue. Cut a sheet of paper into strips from 7 to 13 cm wide. The longer the tube, the better, otherwise you will have to constantly extend it. At the same time, remember that strips that are too long are also difficult to twist.

Now take a knitting needle and start winding a strip of paper onto it from the bottom corner. In this way you need to completely wind the paper onto the knitting needle. Don't forget to fix the edge with glue and pull out the knitting needle. You can paint the tubes right away. It is best to store them in an upright position so that they do not become wrinkled until the time you start making the craft.

Master class: Stand for pencils or notebooks

Make enough tubes from office paper or newspapers. Using a pen, mark on the cardboard bottom a location for the tube stands. It is important to do this under a ruler so that the finished craft is beautiful. To make gluing easier, take double-sided tape and stick it to the bottom. Then apply the prepared tubes according to the markings. Apply pva glue on top and glue the second part of the base. As a result, you will have a beautiful blank for the bottom of the stand and 4 stand-up tubes on the narrow side, and 9 tubes for weaving on the wide side.

The workpiece should dry well, and then you can proceed to further weaving. For beauty, you can braid the base with a beautiful lace or braid of a suitable color. Or take a newspaper tube and braid the bottom in a simple way. Now lift all the racks up. To do this, place the tube under two adjacent ones and lift it up. Using a knitting needle, you can lift and secure the two remaining tubes.

Then take two newspaper tubes again and braid the posts with rope. Using this method, you will need to braid about 9 rows, and then change the angle of inclination in order to make an openwork element.
