Application for February 23, boat templates. DIY postcard ideas. Postcard with a three-dimensional boat

A funny idea is to make a print of dad's huge shoes, and inside there is a print of the children's feet. The sole of the shoes must be dipped in paint and left an imprint on a sheet of paper. “Following in the footsteps”: everything is simple, but very touching.

There are a lot of postcard options for February 23rd for the little ones.

Handprints, fingerprints and footprints can be made with your mother, brother or grandmother.

A print can be taken as the basis of a drawing and turned into something more. For example, for your fishing dad, you can make a card with a funny fish.

Postcard star

A postcard for February 23 can be cut out of paper in the shape of a star. To do this, you can use colored paper, leftover wallpaper or scrapbooking paper. Draw two star parts according to the template, cut them out, and then glue them together. When the glue is dry, make a small hole in the corner and insert tape or coarse thread.

Postcard - shirt

This card looks very impressive! There are a lot of options for designing such a voluminous postcard.

The simplest one is to fold a rectangular sheet of paper in half and cut a strip of paper from the top of the back of the card. Then make two small cuts in the front on the sides and fold them towards the center of the edge. This way you will get a shirt collar.

Of course, the kids will have to help a little with the design and prepare complex details in advance.

Cut out the part for the tie in advance, and take a couple of small buttons for the collar. You can fantasize as much as you like, add a jacket to your shirt, a business suit or a military uniform.

By the way, you can make a postcard for February 23rd with your own hands using only the shape of the tie itself. You can paint it, make an applique on it and attach it to a ribbon with glue, and write text and congratulations on the back.

  4. Unfold the shirt, draw the sleeves and cut them out along the outline.
  5. Glue the silhouette of the shirt to a piece of cardboard, and then decorate it with a beautiful pasta butterfly.

Postcard - tablet

Another idea for those who are older. Does your dad constantly spend time on the Internet and simply cannot live without a tablet? Give him a voluminous postcard for February 23rd, made with your own hands in the form of a small tablet with your favorite photos. Here you can print the details of the templates: iPad tablet template, and find images of the icons on the Internet.

The postcard is an excellent gift for the holiday of defenders of the Fatherland. In this article you will find a selection of templates and detailed workshops on making beautiful and original congratulations for dad, grandfather or boy. Some of them just need to be cut and glued, others need to be drawn, others need to be folded and decorated.

We have collected postcards for you that will be appreciated by both the military and those who have served for a long time or have not even served at all. In a word, any man will be very pleased to receive such a congratulation. Making cards for February 23rd with your own hands is very simple, so even children can cope with this task.

Pasta card for dad

Let's start with a master class for children - an excellent option for elementary school or kindergarten. We offer several options for postcards made from pasta and cereals. These cards are good because they don’t take too long to draw, so even the smallest children can handle them. Any dad will be happy to receive such a funny homemade card for February 23rd.

We will need:

  • white or colored cardboard;
  • colored or decorative paper;
  • glue or plasticine;
  • cereals (buckwheat, rice, peas) or pasta of any shape;
  • paints (gouache, watercolor or any other).

If the child is small, help him make a drawing and use plasticine to attach the cereal to the cardboard. If he already knows how to make some paper crafts and work with glue, it is preferable to use glue.

Fold the cardboard in half or cut out a rectangle that you will decorate. If you are working with pasta, you need to paint it right away, if you are working with other grains, you can paint it later. You can read how to work with certain types of cereals in our article.

Simple decor in this case will be quite enough. Cut out two rectangles: one from newspaper, the other from paper, make a mustache and a bow tie from pasta.

Add a congratulations. If a child knows how to draw, a postcard for February 23 can be made very interesting. For example, you can give dad a ship filled with cereal.

First, a drawing is applied, and then it is filled with cereal. Add colors, write nice words.

A craft for the little ones – the word “DAD” and the number “23”. Write the word on the cardboard in large letters and roll the sausages out of plasticine. To fill it, decorate with peas or buckwheat.

Help your child make an airplane (this is a very useful and exciting activity for children). Color it, write “Happy February 23!” and paste it into the card.

All presented examples of homemade cards can be changed and supplemented with any thematic decor in the form of stars, planes, tanks, etc.

Postcard using quilling technique

This is a very beautiful way to make a custom postcard for February 23rd with your own hands. Any man will appreciate the effort you put into her. A postcard using the quilling technique is one of the best options to congratulate your beloved man, dad or grandfather. Stylish, original and tasteful.

We will need:

  • several strips of colored paper;
  • cardboard for the base;
  • transparent glue;
  • white cardboard;

If you don't have a special quilling needle, you can make your own. To do this, take a regular sewing needle with a large eye and bite off its tip with scissors. Insert the game with the sharp end into any wooden base.

The card begins with preparing the design and details for quilling. Cut the paper into strips no wider than 0.5 centimeters or less. Twist the parts using a needle, simply passing it along the strip. Form shapes with your fingers. We have previously told you how to twist parts using the quilling technique.

On the cardboard we draw the desired image: the inscription “February 23”, a tank, an airplane, etc. We lay it out with cardboard strips, gluing them to the edge using transparent glue. So far they are not holding very firmly, but when filled they will fit tightly.

We fill the space with twisted parts.

An excellent postcard in a “military” style will be in the form of a tank.

You can post the numbers one after another.

Whatever you choose, attach the elements with clear glue. Add your congratulations and the postcard will be ready for February 23rd!

Postcard shirt or military uniform

We offer step-by-step instructions, after mastering which you will learn how to fold a postcard in the form of a jacket and shirt with a tie or a military uniform. Choose the first option if your man is far from the army, and the second if vice versa. This card can also be offered to a child as a craft for dad.

We will need:

  • white cardboard;
  • colored cardboard;
  • satin ribbons;
  • buttons and beads;
  • any decor;
  • Super glue;
  • needle with thread.

Choose the color of the paper in accordance with what and for whom the postcard will be. If you want to make an imitation of a military uniform, take dark green paper or khaki cardboard, otherwise use cardboard of any color.

Cut out a “shirt” in the form of a rectangle from white cardboard. Then we cut out the collar. A blank made of colored cardboard should be 2.5 times larger.

We place the “shirt” in the center and make folds in the form of a uniform wrap. We bend the top corners to make a collar. The shirt also needs to be folded to form a collar.

We place a ribbon in the center of the shirt - this will be our tie. To make a knot for it, we will use a bead. It's better to sew it on. We fix the tie itself with glue.

We glue a small piece of tape to a narrow white cardboard strip - this is a pocket and a future handkerchief. We will tighten it with glue and drape it.

Inside the shirt we write a festive greeting for Defender of the Fatherland Day. We add buttons or stars to the jacket if it is a uniform. Glue the pocket and create a border using a felt-tip pen.

When assembled, the congratulations are not visible on the postcard. If necessary, you can write additional wishes on the inside of the uniform. For example, many people put poems on the gift that can be read when the jacket is fully unfolded. Any man will be pleased to receive such a homemade postcard for the holiday: you can immediately see how much soul has been put into it.

Postcard with a three-dimensional boat

A child can make this simple card for dad. However, even a craft for a husband in this style would be appropriate. It will be an excellent addition to any gift for Defender of the Fatherland Day.

We will need:

  • blue cardboard;
  • White paper;
  • glue stick;
  • red and blue markers.

Blue cardboard – imitation of the sea. To make the card more interesting, we will place it: fold it in half and make two folds inward so that it stands up. You can add additional lining to the bottom to make the structure more stable.

We make a boat out of paper. For detailed instructions on how to do this, see our article on simple origami techniques.

Glue the boat to the cardboard. Add waves from paper.

Cut out a rectangle for the flag and several seagulls from white paper. Using felt-tip pens we tint the flag and the boat itself.

The postcard is ready for February 23rd! Congratulations can be written on the other side of the craft. And inside the card you can put a small gift or something delicious.

Volumetric postcard with an airplane

Another way to congratulate dad on February 23 is a voluminous postcard with an airplane. It is all made of paper and glued together quite simply. A child from an elementary school will be able to complete this master class on his own, but children from a kindergarten will need a little help.

We will need:

  • blue cardboard;
  • white paper;
  • blue paper;
  • paper of any bright color;
  • glue stick.

Cut out several clouds from white paper. We make a circle out of blue paper, and then cut it out in a spiral 0.5 centimeters thick.

Draw an airplane on colored paper. We make wings separately and glue them. Glue the clouds completely, glue the spiral to the center, glue the plane to the center.

Fold the card in half. Congratulations can be written between the glued elements.

Such a voluminous postcard will appeal not only to fathers and grandfathers, but also to boys. This is a great idea for congratulating classmates.

Bonus: video master class

This is a very simple three-dimensional postcard for February 23, which you can make with your own hands in just 5-10 minutes. This congratulation looks original and very beautiful. Take a look at the short video master class and get down to business - you definitely can’t go wrong.

Choose any of the presented master classes on making postcards, all of them are good for congratulating men of all ages and statuses. Use the traditional colors of the holiday of defenders of the Fatherland, add interesting details and write the most sincere congratulations. Representatives of the stronger sex will be very happy with such signs of attention!

Initially, February 23 was still considered a holiday for those men who are associated with the military sphere. Now, this is a holiday for all males, so everyone needs to be congratulated: grandfathers, fathers, brothers. And, most importantly, put a piece of your soul into this congratulation, so I want to come up with something original and solemn.

Of course, more often such cards are made by children; mothers only supervise the progress of the work. But you can turn it into a masterpiece if you use different techniques and call on the entire reserve of your accuracy. By the way, there is one for this holiday.

I want to inspire you with different ideas so that you can put your business aside and get creative.

In our kindergarten, children are not yet given homework; they try to make themed greetings themselves, but sometimes the child himself asks on the weekend to make an applique or a postcard. Then you also have to look for ideas that are not difficult to repeat, but also show the child how aesthetically pleasing the result looks.

Of course, most often children remember that they need to make a postcard when they go to bed, and it needs to be submitted tomorrow. So let's look at a few easy ideas that will take no more than half an hour of your time together to implement.

For example, create a greeting with a three-dimensional Russian flag. I know that at this age kids still cannot cut straight along the lines, so you will have to prepare the blanks in advance.

Use scissors with jagged edges.

The cardboard is folded in half and a backing is glued to the front side.

A black strip is glued diagonally, which will serve as the basis for the flag.

Three stripes of the same size (about 4 cm) in the colors of the Russian flag are cut separately: white, blue, red.

These strips are glued only at the ends, creating a small arch.

If it is difficult for a child to explain how to make such a flag, then use a simplified version.

Take red paper and toothpicks.

Cut a small strip of paper measuring 3*1 cm and fold it in half.

Make two cuts near the edge that did not become folded and glue this flag to the toothpick.

It's very easy to replicate the following idea.

You will need two strips of cardboard of the same width, but different lengths. A number is cut out from one edge. Next, glue both halves at the beginning.

I also liked one idea. The execution results in a very mature and strict design. But it is also done quickly.

We roll up the cardboard - the base.

We take smaller paper and cut out a star and a slot in the middle for the inscription.

Before gluing the two sides, write text in the place where the slot is.

You can mark this place with a pencil.

How to make voluminous cards for school with your own hands

Volumetric congratulations always look more original than the usual flat ones. But it also takes more time to create them. They have more details, so these options are more suitable for schoolchildren.

For example, the idea with a boat and an anchor looks very nice.

To do this, you can print a template, cut out the ship, waves and anchor according to the internal diagrams.

Transfer the drawing to colored paper and carefully use a stationery knife to repeat the inner lines of the drawing.

Then you need to bend the cardboard in color and place it with the fold up.

Glue paper with a cut out ship onto the front side of the cardboard. You can use contrasting cardboard.

Paste a white sheet of paper inside on which you can write a congratulation.

Interesting options include three-dimensional images of balloons and ships.

For example, on this postcard a boat is made using the origami technique. And on the basis of it the entire composition is created.

Here is a detailed diagram of the order in which you need to fold the sheet.

Or such an interesting option with a 3D ship.

I would also like to show you a sweet version of a three-dimensional congratulation.

I think that our defenders will definitely appreciate this!

Beautiful congratulations from paper for dad on February 23

I would also like to congratulate dad in a very unusual way. For example, giving a card that requires very painstaking work.

To create it, you need to take a sheet of cardboard and bend it in half.

Then draw 3 squares, measuring 2.5*2.5 cm. Inside which you can draw thematic objects: an anchor, a steering wheel, a balloon, an airplane, a ship, a clock or a star. You can draw it yourself, but I’ll give you a template.

Then carefully cut along the contour with a sharp blade or stationery knife.

Paste a congratulation printed on a white sheet of paper inside.

You can make a card in the form of a shirt and tie.

They are different, for example, those with a drawn tie.

Or with a jacket.

You will see a template for such a postcard just below in the corresponding section.

Let's create such an orange, bright postcard ourselves.

For this we need double-sided cardboard and one sheet of colored paper.

Fold the sheet in half. On the front side, at the fold, we make a cut at a distance of 3 cm from the edge.

On the back side of the sheet we completely cut off a line 3 cm wide. This way the collar of the shirt will protrude above the postcard.

Now we also retreat 3 cm from the sides and make horizontal cuts 3 cm long. We bend their ends inward.

It's time for the tie.

We need a square of double-sided colored paper, measuring 15*15 cm.
We fold it diagonally.

Then we turn the ends to the resulting fold.

Turn the tip up.

Now we turn the end inward, as in the photo.

We bend the edges towards ourselves and push them inside with our finger.

Now we reduce the width of the free edge of the tie by tucking the sides.

We glue the resulting part onto the postcard.

Contrasting colors look very nice: black and white.

Also, to achieve greater similarity, use a sheet of velvet paper as a basis.

DIY greeting cards using scrapbooking technique

Congratulations created using the scrapbooking technique are very rich and unusual.

When many different parts with different textures are used. Anything will do here: wallpaper, twine, buttons, wood. Of course, it is better to choose a color scheme that combines well with different colors.

You can even sew on some decoration elements using a sewing machine.

I also like the option of wooden cards. But due to the fact that not everyone knows how to cut from it and does not have a special milling machine, let’s take this design as a basis. And we will replace the wood with thick cardboard, which is sold in stores for handicrafts and creativity.

Or such a cool idea.

Because this card looks very noble and expensive.

Schemes and templates for postcards for February 23

I have prepared several templates with congratulatory inscriptions. Which you can print and use in your creativity.

Template for creating a star for this greeting.

Take a sheet of paper and stick two strips on it for the St. George ribbon.

Then cut out the star according to the template.

You tuck its edges using your finger and a ruler. Then, using the same ruler, we bend each ray of the star in half.

You need to start along a line from top to bottom. As in the photo. This will make 5 lines from each end.

Now we make these lines more visible with our fingers and begin to glue the star to the blank with St. George ribbons.

All that remains is to cut out only one star and find the right place for it in the overall picture.

Now I want to show the inscription options.

This template can be printed on colored paper.

Another idea for congratulations.

Set of fonts.

Also a diagram for cutting out an airplane.

Template for unusual cards. Figures in squares need to be cut out.

Scheme of a small postcard.

Template for a postcard - a jacket.

Take note of ready-made solutions.

Original applications for Defender of the Fatherland Day

Nowadays, applications with congratulations using the origami technique are very popular.

Here is a diagram for creating a greeting in the form of a shirt.

Here is another very cute idea for an applique in the shape of hands.

We will need two sheets of cardboard.

Trace your left arm and cut it out.

And we fold it in half, then in half again, to make a small accordion. We tuck the ends because we will glue them to our palms.

Now you need to decorate the front side of the applique.

Glue the edge of the accordion to one palm, the other edge to the other palm.

The applique is not at all complicated, but it will be very interesting for children to make.

There are a lot of options for original postcards for men, the main thing is to choose the one that best suits the character of your men.

For example, our dad perceives this holiday purely in the colors of camouflage and vest, so we choose the color background of the cards accordingly.

If you do not want to focus on the military past of the holiday, then you can create such interesting options with stylized features of a man: a hat, monocle, mustache or cane.

I would like to know your opinion on the entire selection of ideas. Bookmark the article to repeat your favorite illustration with children.
