For some reason, everyone who is suddenly overwhelmed by the thirst for drawing begins to carry out their plans with the image of a girl. The drawing is often far from perfect, and all because a person is barely familiar not only with anatomy, but also with the principles of constructing the human body and face. Meanwhile, this knowledge is very important, especially for a beginning artist.

But in this article I will not delve into anatomical details, but will tell you about the most important techniques for constructing a proportional figure. Drawn ladies can excite the imagination no less than the living ones, so at this stage you will only need Blank sheet paper, a simple and soft eraser.

Before that, you need to schematically outline its proportions. For ease of understanding, let’s take a straight-standing figure as an example. So, to begin with, we draw a sort of “skeleton” or “frame”: having drawn the head in the form of an ellipse, we draw a vertical line from the center of its “chin”. It will serve as a guide for construction. In order for the figure to be proportional, you need to know that the head of an adult “fits” in the body seven times. Therefore, before full height, you must first note the height of the head. This is done simply: attach a pencil to the drawing so that the edge of its lead is level with the top of the head, and your fingers are level with the future chin.

Having fixed the height of the head in this way, divide the downward line into seven segments equal to it. Now in more detail about the resulting “scale”: at the level of the first segment there should be rib cage, at the second level - the waist, the third - Bottom part hips, fourth and fifth - legs to the knees, sixth and seventh - legs below the knees to the ankle bone. The image of the foot requires an additional segment, half as long as the main one.

Having received such a diagram, we proceed to the next stage of solving the problem of how to draw a girl. Now we need to outline the limbs. To do this, stepping back from the head a little downwards, we outline using horizontal line. We mark the waist and hip line with exactly the same segments. Since we are drawing a girl, it will be absolutely natural if the shoulder line is wider than the waist line, but narrower than the hip line. From the schematic shoulder girdle we draw the lines of future arms: the elbows should be at the level between the third and fourth segments, the fingertips at the level between the fourth and fifth. The beginning of the legs should fall directly on the fourth segment.

When the “frame” is ready, you can begin to “build up the meat,” that is, drawing a full body. The “skeleton” will serve as a guide so that both halves of the body are the same in width. Of course, when completing the drawing, you need to take into account that the arms, legs, and the entire body have a certain shape, and the face and head also require separate construction. But this is a topic for another article. I hope that the above description of how to draw a girl, together with the pictures given for better perception, will help you quickly find your bearings, and in the future you will be able to create more complex images of people. Having “trained” your hand and developed your eye, you will become more confident in your abilities, which will allow you to portray human body without the need to draw a preliminary “wireframe” sketch.

For some reason, when it comes to boys and girls, I just want to remember one mischievous song in which the author talks about what these indigenous inhabitants of the country of Childhood are like. Remember how it says that girls are made of bells and flowers? But how to draw a girl if she is a cute, airy, almost unearthly creature?

In fact, there are several ways to draw a little girl. For example, it can be depicted with photographic accuracy in the form of a portrait, or as a doll. Or, even a fairy-tale, cartoon character. And even for novice artists, this process of choosing a model’s image will be interesting. In it they will be able to express themselves as a creative person.

Having chosen a photograph or picture to sketch, we get to work. Just first let’s look at how to draw a girl step by step with a pencil. Our model will look like a character from a children's book. And we will try to portray her as funny and sweet as possible.

Stages:

  1. Head and neck;
  2. Torso (dress);
  3. Legs;
  4. Pens;
  5. Detailing: face and hairstyle, arms and legs;
  6. Coloring a picture.
Working step by step, we will easily accomplish everything. Working on the image together with our kids, we will teach them how to draw a girl and have an interesting time with our little ones.

Another condition - we depict a girl with long hair, which are styled in the hairstyle. In our case, these are ponytails, beloved by many girls. Now the preparation for work is completely completed: we know what and how we will depict, we have the approximate nature and purpose of the picture, we have thought about some of the nuances. Its time to begin!

Head and neck

There’s no need to think too much about how to draw a girl with a pencil. You can learn the easiest way. Let's make a circle. This will be the head. Two parallel lines emanate from it downwards - the neck. From the “neck” there are two lines in opposite directions. We make them at an angle. This is how we show the fragility of the girl’s sloping shoulders.

Torso (dress)

How to draw a girl in a dress? It's simple! You need to come up with an outfit and transfer your thoughts to paper. I got it like this:

I wanted the dress to be lush, lush and elegant. And that is why waves pass along its bottom.

Legs

Since our girl is visible to us in full growth, the next step will be to draw the model’s legs.

So far the whole picture bears little resemblance to our final goal. This is just a sketch, devoid of detailed details. In the future, all drawings will be edited. Completed with details, they seem to come to life. And a cute little girl will appear.

Pens

We don’t want our model to just stand there and not have any zest to it. It’s worth thinking about how to draw a cute girl so that any decorative element gave her naivety and warmth. Therefore, we boldly hand a balloon into her hands. To do this, one hand is lowered along the body, and the second, which holds the ball by the string, is raised.

Detail: face and hairstyle, arms and legs

In order for the girl drawn in the picture to “come to life”, you need to pay attention to details. So, for example, hairstyle.

Eyes, lips and nose. Perhaps an inexperienced child will not be able to immediately cope with this point, so a parent can help him. He will explain how a portrait is made. And yet, our little girl’s lips are stretched into a smile.

The arms and legs of the model also need to be completed. There should be shoes on the legs, and fingers should be added on the arms.

Coloring pictures

We did not copy from photos or pictures. But they just understood the principle of how to draw a beautiful girl, in what order.

But in order for our work to look complete, we should pay attention to coloring. First, we did everything with colored pencils.

Now let's fully paint all the details.

We got a cute picture, which depicts a full-length smiling girl with balloon in hand.

Below are a few more step-by-step drawing options.

Nose, between the eyes and chin. Mouth, between the chin and nose.)

Women and men have fundamental differences in body structure. But, in modern world Some women look like men because of their clothes and hairstyle. However, no matter how hard a woman tries to resemble a man, we can still recognize her. home distinctive feature consists in the structure of a woman’s body - wide hips and narrower shoulders (men have exactly the opposite indicators). At drawing a woman in full growth it is worth starting from this basic rule, and the rest of the secrets of construction can be learned from this step-by-step lesson.

Materials and tools:

  1. White sheet of paper.
  2. A simple pencil.
  3. Eraser.

Stages of work:

Photo 1. First you need to carry out with a simple pencil vertical center line. We leave serifs at the edges of the segment. They will determine the full height of the body beyond which you cannot go:

Photo 2. Divide the segment in half. Thus, the line is divided into two parts, along which we will later build the body. Next, we divide the upper segment in half again, and measure another half from the resulting upper segment. The topmost segment is the height of the woman’s head:

Photo 3. Now you need to outline the location of the shoulders. The line of the shoulders will be located under the head, namely under the second (top) serif. Let's step back a little from the head, leaving a little space for the neck. Let's draw the line of the shoulders at an angle, because the woman will stand slightly bent over:

Photo 4. Next we need to find out the location of the waist and knees. To do this, you need to divide the center line into three parts. To do this easily, we divide the lower half of the center line in half, but the line of the knees will be slightly higher. We measure its height and transfer it to the center line three times, leaving notches. The result should be three equal parts:

Photo 5. Now we outline the waist line. It will be located on the notch between the first and second half of the divided center line (there are 3 parts in total), and the hips will be slightly lower and twice as wide as the waist. We draw the hips and waist at an angle, opposite to the shoulders:

Photo 6. We unite the shoulders and waist along the edges, and from the waist we draw a line to the hips. You need to outline the length of the skirt - it will be equal to two distances from the waist to the hips:

Photo 7. From the shoulders we outline the location of the arms. The left arm will be bent at the elbow and located at waist level, and the right arm will be raised and moved to the side:

Photo 8. Now let's draw the legs. Do not forget that the knees should be located at the level of the notch. Right leg will go a little beyond the left:

Photo 9. Let's draw the head in the shape of an oval, and “outline” the hair on it. Most of they will fall to the left side:

Photo 10. Let's draw the hands and give them shape. Left hand the girl will hold it at the waist, and the right one will be set aside:

Photo 12. Using an eraser, we remove the extra lines that were previously needed for construction. Let's enhance the contour of a woman's body:

Photo 13. Let's draw the woman's facial features. We don’t put much emphasis on drawing the face, because our main task is to learn how to draw a woman in full height, namely the body. You can study my separate lesson “how to draw a female portrait”, where I work out in detail the details of the girl’s face:

Photo 14. Let's set the tone for the hair. Near the bends we make the pencil strokes denser:
