Types of base inlets for gas pipelines

There are three types of base bushings.

  • Straight. A plastic product that has a free bend at the bottom of the pipe. The part of the inlet that is fixed to the gas pipeline has an additional sheath. “Direct” type connections are optimal for gas transportation low pressure.
  • L-shaped. The product has a curved profile and consists of metal and polymer elements. Gas supply can be carried out at a temperature of -20 degrees.
  • I-shaped. The inlet has a metal or polymer case and is used to supply gas to commercial and private facilities.

The cost of products depends on their type and working diameter. Get Additional information EcoMontazh specialists will help you with pricing.

Base gas inlet

The main function performed by the basement gas inlet is the connection of the underground and above-ground parts of the gas pipeline. This design should provide the shortest possible route for gas to reach the floor.

By purchasing the product, you will ensure the safety and reliability of your heating system. It is based on a permanent connection that connects a polyethylene gas pipeline to a steel one.

The ALPICOM company offers comprehensive services for equipping buildings with heating systems. With us you can:

  • it is profitable to buy base inlets for a gas pipeline;
  • order delivery and installation in Moscow;
  • select the required gas pipe;
  • take advantage of qualified assistance from specialists.

The assortment includes high-quality and durable products that comply with GOST standards. There are the following types of bushings: bent (from steel pipe, used for residential buildings), with free bending (from polyethylene pipe) and i-shaped (contains polyethylene and steel pipes).

Normal and comfortable conditions It is impossible to imagine living in a private home without electricity and gas. It is especially difficult to do without the latter, since with its help you can not only cook food on the stove, but also make it warm during the cold season. You can, of course, get by with a regular wood or coal stove, but the use of gas practically erases the line between city and countryside.

Therefore, connecting a private house to the central gas main plays a special role. Traditionally, gas supply to housing occurs using a low-pressure gas pipeline.

Advice: you cannot supply gas to your home yourself; you must contact a special company.

The gas pipeline is brought into the living space from an underground main using a basement supply. It must provide the shortest path for gas to pass to the desired part of the building, while the distance required by GOST between the gas pipeline and other underground communications and structures must be maintained.

What is a base input? This is the name given to the permanent connection between a steel and polyethylene pipe, which is intended to create the necessary transition of an underground external gas pipeline to an above-ground state directly near the house.

The design is carried out in a steel case, which protects the supply from mechanical damage and also prevents cooling of the pipe. It is closed on both sides with special plugs.

The base input is manufactured in a factory according to SNiP 42-103-2003, for which there are special instructions. Its dimensions can be changed in agreement with the customer.

L-shaped

Isolated metal pipe, having a transition on the horizontal section of the polyethylene-steel gas pipeline. The design feature of the “L-shaped” is precisely this.

This model does not allow the polyethylene part of the equipment to freeze and makes it possible to mount “L-shaped” type base inputs in climatic zones, where the temperature is below 15º C.

Using the cold bending method and without welded joints, products with ØØ 32 mm x 25 mm, 40 mm x 32 mm and 63 mm x 57 mm are produced. “L-shaped” type base inlets are installed when the gas pipeline exits the ground near buildings, as well as at gas pumping stations and hydraulic fracturing stations. They are used to transport methane at various pressures.

Straight

Free bend polyethylene pipe. The design feature of this type is the free bend of the polyethylene gas pipe at the bottom of the inlet, installed in a flexible case. A permanent connection is made in this case to the vertical part and is protected with a steel case.

Placement of “Direct” type base inlets is possible only in climatic zones with temperatures from 15º C. Such equipment is installed at the gas pipeline exit site from the ground near residential building and is used to supply low pressure methane.

I-shaped

A straight section of polyethylene pipe, which is connected by welding the outlet to the embedded heater. The design feature of such a base input is the installation of a permanent connection made of polyethylene and steel in the vertical part of the equipment.

It is possible to place “i” type basement inputs in climatic zones with temperatures less than 15º C. The equipment is connected to an underground pipeline using an electric welded outlet.

These types of inlets are located at the exit of the gas pipeline from the ground near a residential building, at the gas pump and hydraulic fracturing station. Used to supply buildings natural gas different pressure.

Tip: you can make the end of a metal pipeline for both threading and welding.

What problems does the base input solve?

The original technology and design of equipment manufacturing makes it possible to forget about the problems that periodically arise during the design and construction of gas distribution systems, including:

  • no finishing work is required, therefore total price decreases; (See also article.)
  • there is no need for radiographic control and the cost of clearing for the absence of a welded joint;

Polyethylene inlet, using a free bend of the pipeline

In order to bring an external underground gas pipeline to an above-ground position directly next to the building, a permanent connection of a pipe made of polyethylene and steel is used - a basement inlet or outlet.

Typically, gas supply to residential buildings is carried out using low pressure gas. The gas pipeline is introduced into the living space from the underground gas pipeline through the basement inlet. If possible this direction must provide shortest way gas flow into a specific part of the house; in this case, the required distance is maintained between the crossed underground structures(sewage, water supply, telephone and electrical cables, etc.) and gas pipelines.

Schematic drawing:

a - Bent (“Gander” or L-shaped) base input made of insulated steel pipe.

The bent base entry can be called a reliable product that allows it to be installed in different areas Russian Federation with temperature mode in winter time below 15 degrees Celsius, since the permanent connection is located in the underground part of the product. “Very reinforced” insulation of the steel part is made using POLYLENE tapes. The insulating layer must have a thickness exceeding 1.8 millimeters.

It is used both as a gas pipeline outlet directly to a residential premises, and in the supply of a gas pipeline to a gas pipeline, hydraulic fracturing, and so on.

The diameter of the L-shaped (bent) base bushings produced is from 32x32 (DN25) to 225x219 millimeters.

b - Co free (DN25) - 110x108 millimeters.

All three versions can have the option of making the end of a metal pipe:

  • for thread;
  • for welding.

To avoid mechanical damage and other negative impacts natural environment Base inputs are placed in special cases.

Case parameters:

  • the case is made of PE 80;
  • diameter - 110 mm;
  • length - 600 mm.
