troubleshooting

If one of the main development problems, refer to the following information for a description of possible causes and corrective steps:

Neither the fan nor the compressor is running (no power)

  • 1. The fuse may be blown or the switch is open. Checking electrical circuits and motor windings for shorts or bases.
    Investigate for possible overloads.
Replace the fuse or reset switches after the problem is corrected.
  • 2. Wires can be loose or break. Tighten or replace. Throw away the split.
  • 3. The supply voltage may be too low. Check it out with the power company.
  • 4. The control system may be faulty. Check thermostat for proper connection and check 24 volt transformer for burnout.

Fan runs but compressor does not run

    1. Check compressor condenser.

2. Wires can be loose or break. Tighten or replace.
3. The high pressure switch may have tripped due to:
a) a contaminated or connected capacitor;
b) no or no condenser water;
c) Too warm condenser water;
d) Not enough airflow over the coils due to dirty filters.
5. Check thermostat, calibration and wiring.
6. Compressor overload protection is open. If the compressor thermocouple is overheated, the overloads will not be reset
until it gets cold. If the overload is external, replace it. If the overload is internal, winding shorted, replace the compressor.
7. Compressor winding may be defective. Check continuity with an ohmmeter. If the windings are broken, replace the compressor.

Compressor - attempts to start, but the compressor stops

1. Check the integrity of the McQuay contactor relay.
2. McQuay. Check system pressure, high?
3. High superheat leads to freezing.
4. Lack of refrigerant.

Compressor stops after running for a short time

    1. Checking the thermostat.

Air conditioner detail, outdoor unit

McQuay/Acson faults

2. Check system pressure.
3. Refer to troubleshooting - 3 possible causes.

Insufficient cooling or heating

  • 1. Checking the thermostat.
  • 2. The air flow may not be sufficient. Check and clean the filter.
  • 3. The check valve is defective, creating ice in the refrigerant. Check check valve
    valve coil.
  • 4. Insufficient ventilation, freezing of the indoor unit of the system. condensate does not drain. Add ventilation rate.
  • 5. Make sure any block is in the water outlet, or if the water is dirty.
  • 6. Lack of refrigerant.

Insufficient water flow through the condenser (pipe in pipe) drain hose crease

    1. Check the valves are open.
    2. Check for security atmospheric air trapped in pipelines.
    3. Check the circulation pump. Acson

dripping water

1. Check the condensate drain.
2. Check the condition of the filters.
3. Check if the condensate drain runs uphill.
4. See if the motor fan is up to speed.
5. Check fan position.
6. Is the drainpipe properly trap?

Noisy air conditioner outdoor unit

    1. Check the fan impellers, what they are clinging to.
    2. Check for dents in the impeller.
    3. Check if there are free fan wheels on the shaft.
    4. Check if the compressor tubes are touching. Adjust the tubes by bending slightly.
    5. Check all screws on the panels.
    6. Check drain. Remove the ice!!! When working on heat, - freezing of the evaporator.

Features

Excellent Air Distribution

Air discharge direction can be adjusted in four directions, manually or automatically by using LCD remote
control.

The new double louver design with automatic air swing function fully optimizes the room comfort by
distributing the air evenly to the room. The unique skew fan design with larger diameter creates better air flow
to the operating environment.

self diagnosis
This function is able to detect and to disgnose any faults occurring in the system by blinking of the LED lights.
    Simplify and ease for troubleshooting.
Facilitated Maintenance Ensure

Calculation Steps remote control.

The new design of air discharge housing where by the fan blower can be easily accessed by just losing
two screws on the unit to provides a flexible, faster and easier way to clean up the fan blower and ionizer.
Maintenance is easy for electrical components, piping and wiring as these are all easily accessible by simply
    removing front plastic panel.
High Efficiency Heat Exchanger

The compact design of the 3-fold structure heat exchanger provides a large surface are for better and efficient
heat exchange. The unique Hydrophilic slit fin has greatly improved the air flow and the contact surfaces with
the air thus to boost the cooling capacity.

Wireless remote controller

  • The compact LCD transmitter is able to operate the air conditioner unit within the distance of 9 meters.
  • Fan motor speed can be set at low / medium / high or automatic.
  • Sleep mode auto control will gradually increase or decrease the setting temperature to provide a
    comfortable surroundings for sleeping.
  • Air flow direction can be controlled automatically.
  • Room temperature is controlled by electronic thermostat.
  • The real time timer allows the air conditioner to be switched on and off automatically based on user
    settings.
  • Turbo mode function is available to enables the required set temperature to be achieved in a short time
  • Personalized setting allows user to preset and store 2 groups of personal settings (including timer setting)
    in the handset.

Auto random restart is a function where by when there is power failure occurred during operation, the unit
will automatically restart as the last setting condition once the power is resumed.
