Chapter 2 "Great Day"

There is only one single story stash in this chapter, which you will encounter anyway. This is Isaac's lab. Just enter it, and this cache will be credited to you.

Chapter 3 "Through the Channels"

The first cache in this chapter is in the ruins of the house, which is located across the railroad at the beginning of the chapter, where you should also be in the story. Just walk up to it and you'll be credited with a stash.
The second cache will be in the ventilation shaft, in the house, which is also located near the railway. You will be in it according to the plot, so it will not be difficult for you to find and break the box in this cache.
The third cache will be in the channel in front of which you will find the turret. This cache is located behind the car. It's hard to miss it, because there will be a lambda sign on the wall, which indicates the cache.
The fourth cache will be located in the sewers, which we will go through. It will be located directly below us and will be indicated by a lambda, so it is also hard to miss it. Go downstairs and take supplies, then this cache will be credited to you.
The fifth cache will be located near the pipes along which we are going. You will see the lambda sign, break the boards and go along the pipe, under it, and you will find this cache.
The sixth stash will be in the place marked with two lambdas. You will also go through this place in the story, and it will be hard for you not to notice this cache. The main thing is not to fall on a small path, to which the cache is located.
The seventh cache is located next to the sixth: you just need to go further and you will find a path of pipes above you that leads to this cache, but this cache is not marked with a lambda. This will be the last stash you will encounter in this chapter.

Chapter 4 "Water barrier"

Number of caches: 11


The first cache in this chapter will be located before the lake, which you will have to swim across, at the very beginning of the chapter. You will see a lambda on the wall on the right, in front of which there will be another ladder. If you go up, you will find supplies. If you take them, then this cache will be credited to you.
The next cache will be located not far from the first at the beginning of the chapter. Along the way, you will come across a red house that holds this stash. To get it, you need to climb into this house, to the top floor, which has a mechanism that holds a container with a cache. Just remove the barrel from the mechanism, and the container will plunge into the lake, in which you can take supplies from the cache.
The third cache will be located in the tunnel, in the place where the Alliance forces will land. This location will be marked with a lambda. You just have to climb into this tunnel, walk around, and you will find a cache.
The fourth cache will be located on the spot, over which there will be an armored personnel carrier that will fire at you. Under it, a lambda will be marked on the wall, and next to it is a passage to this cache. But just be careful, there will be a headcrab near the cache, and the harvester forces will land on the way back.
The fifth cache in this chapter will be located just like all the others, along the way, so it will be hard for you not to notice it. A lambda will be marked on the wall, near which an iron basket with supplies is suspended. A basket is also suspended from the opposite end, but with bricks. Just pull out the bricks and then the supply basket will drop and you will be credited with this stash.
The sixth cache will be located under the railway, in the place near which you will swim.
The seventh cache is also hard to miss. When you swim through the radioactive waters, a lambda will be displayed on the side of the tunnel, on the wall, and there will be a platform with supplies. If you break the support that holds the cache, the platform will fall and you can take supplies.
The eighth cache will be, like many others, along the way. In this location (Screenshot below) you only need to turn left and you will find this cache.
The ninth cache will be located in this location (Screenshot below), on the side, on the left, in the second tunnel.
After you meet G-Man "a, you will come across a fork of two roads, at the end of which there will be a cache (right road). Chapter 6 We don't go to Ravenholm

The passage to the first cache of this chapter will be located in the house near which you will meet Father Gregory for the first time. The house will have an entrance to a ventilation shaft that leads you to this stash.
The second cache will be located near the traps set by Father Gregory and will be marked with a lambda.
The third cache will be in the roof of one of the buildings, and it is marked with a lambda, so it will be hard to miss.
The last cache will be at the exit of the mine, above you, and will be marked with a lambda.

Chapter 7 Highway 17

The first stash will be in the red house you pass by at the beginning of the chapter, and it will be marked with a lambda.
The second cache will be located in an abandoned house, which you will pass. On the second (actually the first, but you will go there through the basement) floor there will be supplies, and you will need to get there.


The third cache will be in the car after you "jump over" the collapsed bridge and destroy the Alliance stormtrooper.
The fourth cache will be located near the gas station, near which you will pass. You will need to substitute something under the edge of the fence, you will get over it and find this cache.
The last cache will be at the end of the chapter. In front of the railroad, you will find a wooden fence, behind which there will be a cache and several headcrabs.

Chapter 8: Sand Traps

The first cache will be located in the house, in which you will need to connect three batteries for further movement.
The second and final cache will be behind the house, which will be above the beach, before the fight with the guardian antlions, and this cache will be marked with a lambda.

Chapter 9 "Nova Prospekt"

Number of caches: 3


The first cache can be found in a small room with some turrets.
The second cache can be found in one of the abandoned rooms for violators, if you move the door. The cache will also be marked with a lambda.
The passage to the last stash you find in this chapter can be found at the end of the chapter, to the right of the laundry room.

9a Chapter "Confusion"

Secrets of the Lambda Core complex.

Go into the booth to the right of the elevator and press the button, go to the elevator to the left of the truck. When the elevator goes down, kill Bullsquid and some Headcrabs, collect ammo, restore health and go out the door. You will enter the waste storage. Five Human Assassins are waiting for you here. Two are on the second floor and three on the first. According to the standard scheme, kill them with a crossbow, shooting in sniper mode and, moving in Stealth mode, after the victory, break the boxes that prevent you from going into the passage to the right, go forward and climb the stairs, go into the passage to the left. At the fork, you can go down, restore health and recharge your batteries, and up - the path to the elevator. Get down on it.

Go to the next waste storage, kill all the Alien Grunt, use the exploding barrels. After that, climb the stairs, go through the door and talk to the scientist, he will tell you about the Lambda housing reactor and open the door, go through it, take the elevator to the second floor. At the fork, go right, go into the test room and take EGON, you can try it on the Headcrab and Bullsquid behind the shields, but better save your ammo. Go down the corridor to the elevator leading to the reactor cooling system. Take advantage of it.

Turn left, kill Alien Slave, and at the fork go right, you will come to a weapon storage. Talk to the guard and the scientist, collect ammo, heal and recharge your batteries. Now we need to start the reactor. Return to the large hall, shooting from the aliens, and go to the cooling system ј 1, to do this, follow the walls painted blue (from the exit to the hall, go along the left wall and go down under the hall into the nearest passage). Make your way to the switch through several rooms and use it. Return to the main hall and go to the second cooling station (along the orange painted walls). You will have to climb over a piece of collapsed ceiling, destroy several Alien Grunts, one of which will break through the cornice. Jump over the resulting hole and destroy all the Barnacles. Use the valve to block the pipe so that hot steam does not come out of it, go along the corridor and turn on the second cooling station.

Return to the main hall, go to the armory (where the scientist and guard were), restore health if there is still energy left in the installation on the wall, and collect ammunition, again, if there are any left after the first visit. Now go along the corridor, without entering the main hall, you will come to an emergency passage to the reactor cooling system. Kill all Alien Grunt and dive into the water, swim to the reactor core. Come up and catch your breath, two Alien Slaves are standing on the ledges far above - destroy them with a crossbow, firing in sniper shooting mode. After that, dive and turn the two valves located opposite each other. Climb up the ladder and dodge the energy beams and jump over the gaps in the ledges to get to the door at the very top - you've reached Zone D of the Reactor Core.

Follow the corridor to the elevator, go up the stairs to level B, jump to the broken door and exit into the corridor. Walk along it, go to the guard, talk to him, collect ammunition and deal with all the strangers waiting for something (or someone) in the corridor. Two Alien Grunts are waiting for you at the end of the corridor, but they can be killed without resorting to weapons. On the left wall of the corridor, if you go from the guard's booth, there is a knife switch that either puts dampers in the pipes or raises them. Play with this lever: turn off the steam, then run to the end of the corridor and immediately return to the switch, as soon as Alien Grunt is under the pipes - turn on the steam. Now you can safely go around the corner.

Laser systems

In "Lab D" we need to turn on four laser machines. We enter the first room on the right. Inside, on a large installation, we press the red button - a thin blue laser appears, directed by mirrors into the central room. We leave from here, we go into the corridor opposite this room. In the next room we find Tau cannon (Tau), and here we turn on another laser installation.

In two rooms we turn on two more lasers, collect a couple of batteries and ammo for tau cannon. We enter the central room, where all the lasers flock.

We approach the steel sheet against the wall, next we pull out the plug from the outlet. We pass to the control panel behind the glass, press the button. The laser burns a huge hole in the wall. We climb into this hole and carefully climb down.

We get into a room with three scientists who cannot get out because of a rotating device with saws and knives. We approach the device, quickly run to the center, and then press the button on the panel on the right. The device is stopped, scientists lead you to the exit.



main hall

In the lobby of the building, an ambush of the military awaits us. We go inside, we shoot the soldiers of the special forces from the magnum, and then from the shotgun. A couple of soldiers will remain standing on the roof, we kill them with a crossbow. We pick up the grenades lying on the counter. We leave the building together with the scientist.


Courtyard of the complex

There are more soldiers outside. A helicopter will appear on the horizon, you need to quickly run back to the warehouse. From the warehouse we shoot the helicopter with a Tau-gun, there should be enough cartridges in the warehouse. Again we go to the dam, we kill two more soldiers. Then we jump into the water on the right. Watch out, there's a sea monster in the water!

We swim to the high tower, climb the stairs, inside the tower we take ammo for tau cannon, press the lever on the wall. After pressing the lever, the water began to descend through the pipes of the dam. We jump into the water, swim into the pipe, and swim out from the underside of the dam. We walk in shallow water to the very end. We climb into the pipes on the left.



Gorge

We go straight along the gorge. At the end we go up two stairs, recover at charger. We go down one staircase, then we go along a narrow parapet to another gorge. We climb up the stairs. We find ourselves on a sandy plain, where a lot of big-eyed dogs run around. We enter the tunnel on the left. Here you can go through a small door into the corridor, and take a battery and two first aid kits there. We go outside through another door in the tunnel or through the side door in the corridor. Military base

We have a tank in front of us. Jumping out from around the corner of the building, we shoot at the tank turret first with rockets, and then we throw grenades. After the destruction of the tank, you can kill all the other soldiers. We enter the red booth, take a couple of first aid kits, press the button. We continue down the open road.

We enter the opened doors.

We see a building in front of us with a lot of wires and a transformer. We kill the emerging Vortigaunts. We go around the building on the right side, we destroy the blue lasers from afar with bullets. We go out to the backyard, where a sniper sat down in the upper window. Bullets cannot kill him, so we throw a grenade at him right through the window. We go into the room, take several grenades. We go further, clearing a minefield in front of us with the help of shots or grenades. Before the electric fence, we turn back, throw a grenade into the bunker on the top floor, there was another sniper sitting there. We press the button, we leave down on the central elevator.


Arsenal

We go to the surface, here the soldiers are at war with alien monsters. We kill everyone from afar, we destroy an armored personnel carrier with a machine gun. We pass forward, go around the building, turn into the alley on the right. Here, in the nearest window, a sniper sits on top, we throw a grenade at him or launch a rocket. We enter the building through the back doors, kill all the military. We rise to the very top, we meet another guard. He lets us in weapon storage, where you can replenish to the maximum ammunition for all types of weapons.

We go into the far door of the vault, go outside on the second floor. We jump over to the other side of the street, there we rise to the third floor. We enter the building, jump into the toilet through the breach. We go forward, kill the military. We jump onto a fragment of the interfloor stairs, climb, jump to the far part of the floor, go into the room. We fall down through the gap in the floor.



Cannon with shells

We fall into a dead end tunnel. A tough battle is ahead, but we have full ammunition for this. Here we are attacked first by vortigaunts, then by large monsters. military quarter

An ambush awaits us in the hatch. We see how the military put explosives in the pipe and closed it. We quickly return to the water, dive, wait out the explosion.

We pass along the first floor, below the Marines are fighting zombies.

At the bottom in the center there is a red cauldron, turn the valve. The second valve is missing, we find it in the side room. After that, we climb up, crawl through the pipe.

We get into the hangar with a plane and a helicopter. We kill 4 soldiers. We see the guard, he opens the door for us.

Artillery control

We run away from the huge blue monster through the tunnels. We run forward to the street, climb onto the cistern standing in the center. The monster will start shaking the tank to throw us down. We approach the big screen, it shows a top view of this location. We mark the location of a huge monster with a dot, then press the colorless “fire” button at the bottom of the screen. The monster will die from an artillery shell.

Now we need to make our way forward. On the screen, we aim artillery at the communication tower (it is to the northeast of our tank, near the round pool), press the colorless button on the screen. Chapter 13

We enter the room, go down the stairs, take a couple of batteries and cartridges. We go further on top, overturn the turret, enter the elevator.

At the bottom we jump over the acid, we kill a couple of soldiers. We approach the garage, destroy the tank with rockets and grenades, finish off the rest. We overturn machine-gun turrets with grenade explosions. We get to the cargo inclined elevator, press the lever in the control room, press the button on the elevator itself, go down.


Container warehouse

On the lower floor, we deal with crocodile monsters. We pass into a spacious warehouse, here assassins will attack us. We climb the spiral staircase to the upper floor of the warehouse.

We continue to climb higher, dodging the lasers (it's easy, they always hit in the same place). Having got out of the central shaft, we go up the stairs, we enter the room to the guard. We restore health at the first-aid kit and the charger, we collect cartridges. We pass further along the corridor.

In the corridor we turn to the left dead end. Here behind the glass is a G-man entering a small portal.

We pass along the corridor to the right. You can go through the door on the left to practice using the portals. You can only enter the yellow portals, after that we instantly find ourselves where the green portal is located. Further along the corridor, you can go down the elevator to see the diagram of the core of the Lambda complex, and through the glass to see it alive. We return upward, we enter into the last door.


Core with teleports

Here the space began to distort and many small portals opened. We need to get to the very top of the core using teleports.

1. We approach the yellow teleport on the stairs, we look through the window. When a moving platform passes under the green portal, we go into the yellow portal.

2. From the moving platform, we jump into gate 02 (until we enter the portal).

3. We look up, when a platform passes under the green portal above, we go into the yellow portal. After teleportation, we quickly sit down so as not to hit the pipe.

Achievement "Rare Specimen" (Rare Specimen)
(In the old version). We jump into gate 05, go into the portal, go down the stairs, under the shelf we find a secret purple hat. From here, teleport back to 1 core room.
The hat must be carried to the very end of the game as an ordinary item, you will have to constantly put it on the floor during gunfights, and then pick it up again and carry it further.
Through the teleports, the hat must be carried in front of you. If the hat falls on a moving platform, it cannot be picked up by hand (game error), but can be shot down.
(In the new version of Black Mesa, the purple hat is not here. It is now hidden in Chapter 3, on the starting area of ​​the monorail, and must be carried through the entire game).

5. Look up to the right corner. When a platform passes under the green portal above, we go into the yellow portal in the center.

6. From the platform we jump into gate 07.

7. We get into a separate room. Here we jump on the middle ring, rising and falling down. From the ring on the platforms we jump to the doors 01, press the button, then to the doors 02, we press another button on them. After that, the path to the portal will open in the center, jump over and teleport.

We find ourselves in a room on the top floor. We go forward along the corridor, go up the elevator. We go to the scientists, listen to them, restore health, collect full arsenal of weapons, take rocket pack (Long Jump Module). We pass into the opened white chamber.

We enter a room with a large teleportation installation. One of the scientists will launch this installation, and we need to fight off the enemies that appear. After some time, the portal in the center will be opened, a bridge will extend to it. We run along the bridge, jump and teleport to the alien world - Xen.

The freight elevator will take us down, after leaving it, climb to the observation deck - you will see it from the top on the right side. Next, there will be a door, behind which there are several corridors, after passing them, you will exit to the warehouse. In the warehouse, the most unpleasant opponents await you - small black nimble ninjas who move at crazy speed, which makes it extremely difficult to aim and, as a result, eliminate them. It remains only to advise you to act with the utmost concentration of attention, not relaxing for a second and reacting with lightning speed to the appearance of nimble opponents.

When you kill them all, find a passage in the right wall - it is closed with boxes that need to be broken with a crowbar. Further there will be a staircase leading up, there on the right side you will see a shaded passage - run into it. With the help of the elevator we will go down, after leaving, run to the gate ahead, simultaneously getting rid of all evil spirits from the parallel world. We need to clear the entire area from opponents, otherwise we simply won’t be able to continue the passage of Half Life. Because you need to get into the control room where the scientist is located, he will open the door for us, but only when he sees that it will be safe.

Having dealt with opponents, enter the door opened by the scientist, use the elevator to go up, then run to the right to get hold of weapons. Then again follow the same corridor in the other direction to take the elevator down. There, running straight ahead, you will notice two different corridors, one blue, the other orange. We need to enter both in turn in order to start one water pump at the end. Having coped, go back, run past the elevator that brought us here, go out into the corridor.

Then turn left - you will find yourself in a flooded room, you will have to dive to get into the tunnel. After wandering along it, you will get to the reactor, there are a couple of valves on both sides of the mine. You need to turn them both, then float to the surface and wait until the water level rises high enough so that you can reach the stairs. We will climb up along it, at this stage the passage of Half Life will somewhat complicate the spark, which is better to wait until it flies over your head. We will climb the stairs higher, after which we need to run to the right, jumping over holes in the floor on the go.

After entering the door, follow the corridor to the elevator, but you will have to climb on foot, using the stairs in its shaft. Having risen, jump on the corner of the door, then make your way through the corridor and turn left, there will be a door. And behind the door is already something interesting - two teleporters, one input, the other output. The first glows red and green in the middle, the second - on the contrary, green on the outside, red on the inside. We need the entrance, and we need to enter it in such a way as to exit from the other side of the lattice, exactly above the arriving platform.

Having entered the platform, in the same way you will climb into the second compartment, you will see the exit teleport directly above you, then next in line are compartments four and seven. So you will get to the main teleport, but you still have to tinker to enter, having previously reached the buttons No. 1 and No. 2, located in the same room on large metal shields. When the shutters are no longer an obstacle for you, jump into the teleport, go through the door, then you will find yourself in the corridor.

There is a staircase - along it we will get to the next room, where fellow scientists are waiting for us. They will tell you the whole situation - some strong creature on the other side of the portal does not allow this very portal to be closed, which is why all sorts of aliens get here. Accordingly, you will have to go to a parallel world, which is the birthplace of uninvited guests, in order to close the portal. Having collected weapons, get down to business, continuing the passage of Half Life - an ally will open the gateway, which will allow you to get to the main teleport.

We are required to find a bridge in this hall, located under the ceiling, it will soon need to be defended, but for now, stand facing the path that goes to the bottom of the teleport. In the meantime, an ally will launch equipment, and we have to defend him from the encroachments of aliens from below. When the scientist demands to hurry, jump into the sphere located in the central part of the teleporter - we are going to pay the aliens a return visit.

Xen (Zen)

Once in the world of Zen, we need to start looking for that very powerful creature that does not allow us to close the portal. But you still have to get to it ... The passage of Half Life at this stage is not extremely difficult, but it cannot be called easy either. We need to jump on organic rock islands using the super jump. When you get to the last such island, jump on the arrived platform. Along the way, study the area for the presence of similar platforms - we need to consistently jump from one to another, moving on.

So we will find ourselves near a large boulder from below, make your way inside it, there is an opening in the center, make your way through it. You will find yourself in a cave where you will need to free several luminous creatures that look like insects. Next, you need to turn on three columns in this cave, which will launch a teleport - enter it.
