A long time ago, people learned to use technology to create comfortable living conditions. So, in almost every house there is an old air heater, which has already served its purpose. Many do not even realize how much humanity has advanced in the development and creation of climate technology. Today, heaters are equipped with many useful features, and the variety of models and durability is amazing.

Polaris is a world-famous company that manufactures various equipment. According to the manufacturer, the service life of their products is 20 years. The main task of the company is to create coziness, comfort and maximum functionality of devices. Factories are located on the territory of 4 countries: Russia, China, Israel and Italy.

Classification of heaters from Polaris

fan heaters

A device that belongs to climatic technology, and its main task is to heat the air in the room by deliberately driving the air flow through the heating element. Air is supplied by a fan, which is usually built inside. And the function of heating the air is performed by a tubular electric heater - abbreviated as a heating element - or a nichrome spiral. The advantages of this type:

  • very high efficiency due to the fact that the device operates in a continuous cycle;
  • uniform heating of the air, but in rooms with a height of more than 5 meters, you will have to install additional equipment.

However, they have one huge drawback - a fire hazard, so it is forbidden to connect equipment with a power of more than 3.5 kW to household electrical networks.

The aforementioned company offers a wide range of fan heaters in all colors and sizes. Only 4 of them are quite widespread, namely: Polaris PFH 2081, Polaris PFH 2046, Polaris PFH 2084 and Polaris PFH 2042. Let's take a closer look at some of them.

The first device is the most affordable model to date. Its cost is less than 1000 rubles, which attracts many buyers. This device with a heating power of 2 kW can heat a room up to 20 square meters. The case itself is made of refractory material, it has built-in protection against overheating. Besides Polaris PFH 2081 able to operate in fan mode.

For rooms up to 25 square meters, the following model would be the best option. Polaris PFH 2046 has a power of 2.5 kW and has a thermostat with which you can adjust the air heating temperature from 30 to 70 degrees. It, like the previous model, includes all security systems and air cooling mode.

Polaris PFH 2084 is the most popular and compact model in the form of a cylinder. It has extremely attractive external qualities and will definitely fit into any modern interior. Performance indicators are identical to the very first model, and only one distinguishes them.

This baby is equipped with a very useful function, thanks to which, when it rolls over or falls, the equipment automatically turns off.

Convectors

They heat the air by forced air circulation. The difference lies in the fact that convectors do not create directed air in a certain way, but ensure a uniform distribution of air flows at the top. So they heat the room more evenly, but at the same time more slowly than fans.

Advantages:

  • simplicity of design;
  • compactness;
  • ease of installation;
  • ecological purity.

The main disadvantages include:

  • slow heating;
  • as a rule, convectors are dust collectors;
  • high power consumption, which makes the maintenance of the device very expensive.

A variety of models of convectors will allow everyone to find a convenient device for themselves. The following models have proven themselves best: Polaris PCH 1572, Polaris PCH 2098, Polaris PCH 1084. Let's take a look at their characteristics.

Very often you will not be able to find a model Polaris PCH 1572 due to the fact that it is sold out very quickly. The device combines convection heating and produces infrared radiation. The device has a power of 1500 W, the body itself is made of refractory metal, and the heating element is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum. On the case there is an on indicator and a thermostat for temperature control. The cost of such a miracle starts from 4,000 rubles.

The second model is a compact rectangular device. It's very convenient that Polaris PCH 2098 Can be placed both on the floor and on the wall. It is an excellent choice for offices and apartments up to 30 square meters. The case itself is made of fire-resistant impact-resistant plastic, which, moreover, also has IP-24 moisture protection. It also has an overheat protection function and turns off when dropped. The cost of this unit ranges from 3,000 to 4,000 rubles.

Polaris PCH 1084 - a compact model designed for small spaces up to 15 square meters. Has 3 power modes: 400, 600, 1000 watts. The main advantage is eco mode, which allows you to consume 20-25% less electricity in the house.

This device must be placed on the wall.

Micathermic heater

The operation of these devices is based on heating the environment using the radiation of infrared waves, which do not heat the air itself, but the objects standing nearby. And already they subsequently give their heat into the air. Most likely, for full heating you will need several devices, since they heat only the area to which the working part of the heater is directed.

Main advantages:

  • quickly and evenly heats objects;
  • lightweight, which makes it easy to carry devices;
  • economically consume electricity;
  • silent operation.

As for the cons:

  • price policy;
  • dust accumulates in hard-to-reach places;
  • does not provide full heating.

On the manufacturer's website, you can find quite a few models with different characteristics and prices, but in terms of price-quality ratio, 2 models can be distinguished: Polaris PMH 1501 and Polaris PMH1479-RCD. We will learn more about them. The first model has 3 power modes: 500, 1000 and a maximum power of 1500 watts. As an advantage, you can highlight the presence of a display and the possibility of remote control. Polaris took care of its customers and put the remote in the kit. There is also a built-in timer that allows you to turn off the device after a certain period of time. The price of such a device is 5,000 rubles.

Polaris PMH1479-RCD has identical features and looks, however, the model is still equipped ultrasonic humidifier, which maximizes the functionality of the device. The price varies up to 6,000 rubles.

Oil coolers

A species that does not work on the basis of the circulation of air masses. The device is a sealed structure, divided into several sections. Mineral oil is a working fluid, which, as a result of heating, gives off its heat to the device itself, and it already heats the air. This is the very first type of heaters that our grandmothers used.

Advantages:

  • content safe device;
  • compact size;
  • long service life;
  • simple installation;
  • low prices.

Main disadvantages:

  • prolonged heating of the room;
  • large weight of the device.

The company pays special attention to radiators due to the fact that this is the most common type of heater. Therefore, she released several different series for buyers:

  • PRE SR- with an increased area of the ribs, which ensures greater efficiency of air heating;
  • PRE SN- radiators with built-in ceramic fan heater;
  • PRE M- a line of oil coolers in a standard form;
  • PRE L- equipment with increased heat exchange capacity.

The most popular model among oil coolers is Polaris PRE SN 1129-HF. The device is capable of heating a room up to 30 square meters. In addition, the radiator is equipped with a heated towel rail, which allows you to dry clothes. Its power is 2900 W, and the number of sections is 11 pieces.

Instructions for use

It is very important to use the device you have purchased correctly. First of all, make sure you installed it correctly. For example, a floor heater cannot be placed on a wall or somewhere else, a wall heater cannot be placed on the floor. Then carefully study the instruction manual to understand what certain buttons are used for. When unpacking, carefully inspect the device itself in order to avoid marriage.

Do not forget that the device will serve you faithfully for a long time only when you provide proper care for it. Also, the heater should not be near the outlet from which it will be powered - it is flammable. Do not leave appliances unattended. Keep small children away to avoid burns.

In the next video, you will find a review of the Polaris PMH 1504 mikathermal heater with an M.Video expert.

The Polaris brand produces a wide variety of household appliances: heating equipment, water heaters, air conditioners and climate control systems. Innovative ideas and achievements are constantly being introduced to increase the comfort of operation, as well as reduce operating costs.

Polaris infrared, mikathermic, oil and convection heaters are manufactured using patented energy-saving technologies.

Who and where is Polaris made?

Polaris is an international holding for the production of climate technology. The company's factories are located in four countries: Italy, Russia, Israel and China.

Polaris products have been offered on the domestic market for about 20 years. All equipment reflects the main concept and priority of the company: the creation of comfort and harmony, thanks to the comfortable, economical and autonomous operation of household appliances.

Overview of Polaris Micathermal Instruments

Most of the major manufacturers of climate control equipment have launched the production of micathermic heaters - new items in the field of heating equipment. The principle of operation of the device is based on the use of a radiating plate of a special design.

The floor mikathermic heater Polaris PMH works on the basis of infrared radiation. The difference of the device is that the radiating plate does not heat up during the heating process, as with similar IR emitters that use a different principle of operation. As a result, the heating efficiency and heat transfer increase by an average of 30%.

The advantages of mikathermic emitters are:

  1. Large heating area.
  2. No negative impact on the microclimate of the room.
  3. High heating rate.
Electricity consumption in mikathermic models is reduced due to the low temperature of the radiating plate. For the same reason, the efficiency of the device and heat transfer increased by 30%. The temperature of the mikathermic heating device is controlled by a room thermostat, controlled manually and using the remote control.

Polaris devices with a carbon element

Polaris heaters with infrared radiation, using a carbon heating element, are represented by the PKSH series.

Models have the following specifications:

Floor infrared electric heaters of carbon type are absolutely safe and do not require the installation of additional climatic equipment to normalize the microclimate.

Models of Polaris ceramic heaters

Under the Polaris brand, ceramic heaters are produced with the possibility of floor, wall and desktop installation.

Convection heating technology Polaris

In the PCH series, Polaris convection electric heaters are offered to the consumer. Each model of the line is designed for floor and wall mounting.

Electric convectors PCH are equipped with the following useful features:

The main difference between Polaris convection heaters and similar equipment is the use of a combined heating method. The simultaneous use of forced air circulation and the presence of an external heating panel significantly increase the thermal performance of the device.

Oil-filled electric heaters from Polaris

The Polaris oil heater is offered in the PRE series. The manufacturer produces about 30 different modifications, made in classic white and black.

Oil electric radiators Polaris PRE, depending on the chosen model, have a mechanical and electronic control unit with the ability to smoothly adjust the heating power.

The performance of Polaris electric oil heating radiators is sufficient to provide heating of a room from 10-25 m². There is an anti-freeze function and the ability to turn on the heater, which has been indoors or outdoors for a long time, at sub-zero temperatures.

The number of radiator sections varies from 4 to 12. The function of automatic cord folding is provided after pulling the plug out of the power outlet. Oil level sensors and a thermostat are installed that turn off the heating when the hull capsizes.

Based on customer feedback, there is a minor problem with the oil heater, which manifests itself in the presence of an unpleasant smell when the radiator is turned on at full power. The problem is temporary. The unpleasant smell is eliminated independently, after several inclusions of a heater.

Top Reasons to Choose Polaris Equipment

Technical characteristics of the Polaris heater: high heat transfer, the use of innovative solutions in the design of climate technology and low power consumption. But these are not the only reasons why you should opt for the Polaris brand.

Manufacturer country

Products under the Polaris brand are produced at the holding's own factories in four countries around the world. On the domestic market, heaters of Russian and Chinese assembly are offered, occasionally Italian and Israeli heaters come across, but basically they can only be purchased by special order.

The instruction manual is completely in understandable Russian. Accessories and spare parts can be bought at any service center, they are always in stock.

Service maintenance

You can verify the reliability of heaters by reading a large number of positive consumer reviews. There is a small percentage (0.1%) of breakdowns due to the manufacturer's factory, but mostly the faults are associated with the inability to use the heater.

It may be necessary to change the settings and select a more suitable heating mode. Service and warranty service is provided in full.

Device Security

The heaters do not need a ground connection. The control unit works stably even with voltage drops. A multi-level security system minimizes the likelihood of fire due to operating climate control equipment.

Long service life

The case of heaters is made of strong steel. Temperature controllers are not afraid of voltage drops, so the malfunctions of the electronic unit are reduced to zero. As practice shows, and consumer reviews testify, the equipment is guaranteed to work out the entire declared service life.
