Who shouldn't take the exam. Is it possible to retake the exam if the threshold has not been passed or the result is not satisfied. Well, how does this USE go in general?

Recall that the exam is needed not only for admission. The school issues a certificate of secondary general education only upon successful completion of the Unified State Exam in compulsory academic subjects: Russian language and mathematics of a basic or specialized level. If you have a school certificate, but there are not enough points for admission to a university, then there are many options. And even if the compulsory subjects are not passed and the certificate is not issued, then the choice is small. We will tell you what to do for both. The main thing is not to despair and not get discouraged. Failure is a good life lesson.

Try retaking

You can retake an unsuccessful exam (result below the minimum score) in a compulsory subject, but only one. And there are some important points regarding the math exam. If a student has chosen both the basic and the profile level for passing and did not pass one of them, then retaking this year is impossible. After all, he passed the second one. If you do not pass both, it is possible, but only one attempt and only either basic or profile.

Re-examination of elective subjects in case of an unsatisfactory result is possible only next year.

If the exam was missed due to illness and there is a supporting certificate, then you can retake it on an additional day.

By the way, some categories of disabled people who have privileges, winners of Olympiads (international Olympiads in general subjects for schoolchildren, All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, Olympiads for schoolchildren, Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic Games) can enter a university without the Unified State Exam. The incentive for the winners of the Olympiads is valid only for one university.

Apply to a university with lower requirements, for part-time or evening studies

Some educational institutions accept for distance learning without presenting USE results in additional subjects (a certificate, of course, is required). You just have to pass the entrance exams for the chosen specialty at the educational institution itself.

In addition, if you passed the main subjects, then you can simply look for another university where additional subjects that you failed, or where there is less competition, are not required.

Go to college or college

For admission to the secondary school, a document on the completion of nine classes is enough, even if you do not have a certificate at the end of 11 classes. If you still want to have a higher education diploma, then you can go to a university after the first year of the secondary school. You will have the opportunity to take the exam in a year. If you go to a higher educational institution after graduating from a secondary specialty, you will need to pass entrance exams, but only for the same profile specialty.

To get a job

The work can be combined with preparing for the next year's exam. These are additional funds, and work experience, and work experience. Work experience is especially important if you choose a location close to your desired education.

Apply to a foreign university

If yesterday's student did not pass the exam with points sufficient for admission to a university, but speaks a foreign language, then it is quite possible to try his hand at abroad. The main condition is to pass an international level test (the most common option is IELTS). But keep in mind that you need a school certificate (that is, you must pass Russian and mathematics).

The decision that school graduates should write a final essay was made in pursuance of subparagraph 9 of paragraph 1 of the list of instructions of the President of the Russian Federation No. Pr-3086 dated December 27, 2013 on the implementation of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation No.
It is due to the fact that the school must educate the individual. The introduction of the final essay as a form of admission to the state final certification motivates schoolchildren to study the Russian language and literature, as well as to develop the ability to correctly formulate and express their own thoughts.
At the same time, extremely "soft" conditions for conducting and evaluating the final essay are provided:

  • the participants write it in their own school;
  • it is enough for the participant to rely on one independently selected work in his reasoning.
  • the essay is evaluated according to the "pass" - "failure" system (for the final test, you need to write an essay yourself (at least 250 words), get positive results according to criterion No. 1 "Compliance with the topic" and criterion No. 2 "Argumentation. Attraction of literary material", and also on at least one of three other criteria: "Composition and logic of reasoning", "Quality of written speech", "Literacy");
  • participants have the right to retake the essay twice within the timeframe provided for the essay schedule (February 7 and May 16, 2018).
When compiling the themes of the essays, narrowly defined formulations are not used and the following principles are relied on: the feasibility, clarity and accuracy of the problem statement. Themes will allow the graduate to choose the literary material on which he will rely in his reasoning.

Exams in other academic subjects: literature, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, social studies, foreign languages (English, German, French and Spanish), computer science and information and communication technologies (ICT), as well as in the native language from among languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation and the literature of the peoples of the Russian Federation in their native language from among the languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation (for students in educational programs of basic general education, who studied their native language and native literature and chose an exam in their native language and (or) native literature to pass the SIA) - students pass on a voluntary basis of their choice for admission to universities.
Expansion of the list of compulsory subjects for passing the exam in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated May 17, 2012 No. 413 "On approval of the federal state educational standard of secondary (complete) general education" (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Russia June 7, 2012, registration No. 24480) it is planned by the time of the complete transition of the senior school to the new federal state educational standards of general education. 1. Do I need to take the Unified State Exam for those who want to get a second higher education?

According to Part 6 of Art. 70 of the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" of December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ, admission to undergraduate and specialist programs of persons with secondary vocational or higher education is carried out based on the results of entrance examinations, the form and list of which are determined by the educational organization of higher education.

    1. I am a graduate of last year. I planned to take the Unified State Exam this year, but did not manage to apply. Is there an opportunity to take the exam this year?

An application for participation in the Unified State Exam from graduates of previous years can be accepted after February 1 by the decision of the State Examination Commission of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation if the applicant has valid reasons (illness or other documented circumstances) no later than two weeks before the start of the corresponding period of the examinations ...

    1. I chose a specialized level to pass the exam in mathematics, but I am going to enter the humanities, where the results of the basic are needed. Will my profile level totals be valid?

In the event that the USE in mathematics is indicated in the list of entrance examinations for the educational program, the applicant must submit the results of the USE of the profile level. If there is no mathematics in the list of entrance examinations, then the applicant for admission needs to pass the USE at the basic level, but the presence of USE results at the profile level in this case is not prohibited.

    1. Is it possible to rewrite the application for an additional exam?

Students change (supplement) the choice of an academic subject (list of academic subjects) if they have valid reasons (illness or other documented circumstances).
In this case, the student submits an application to the state examination commission indicating the changed list of academic subjects for which he plans to pass the SIA, and the reasons for changing the previously declared list. The specified application is submitted no later than two weeks before the start of the relevant exams. The decision made by the GEC is final.

    1. I didn't have time to rewrite the answers from the draft into the form. I was told that the time had run out, without allowing anything to be added. Will my draft be reviewed?

In accordance with the Procedure for Conducting the Unified State Exam, records on drafts and control measuring materials are not processed or checked. Only the examination papers themselves, performed on special forms, are processed. The conflict commission does not consider them in case of an appeal either. In order for the USE participants to keep track of the time and to transfer the answers from the draft to the examination paper on time, 30 and 5 minutes before the end of the exam, the organizers in the audience make a corresponding reminder.

    1. Where can I see my USE results?

Familiarization of the USE participants with the results of the state final attestation is provided by the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that exercise public administration in the field of education (OIV). We recommend that you contact the OIV of your constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

    1. Do my USE results affect the grades in the certificate?

The results of the exam do not affect the final marks that are set in the certificate. In accordance with the Procedure for filling out, recording and issuing certificates of basic general and secondary general education and their duplicates, approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 115 dated February 14, 2014, the final marks for grade 11 are determined as the arithmetic average of the student's semi-annual and annual marks for each year of study in the educational program of secondary general education and are put in the certificate in whole numbers in accordance with the rules of mathematical rounding.

    1. What is the main wave exam schedule?

The unified USE timetable is approved annually by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

In addition, along with the reserve dates for the USE, OGE and GVE in individual academic subjects, an additional reserve day is provided for examinations in all academic subjects.

    1. How to overcome your fear of the exam?

During the exam time, there is always psychological stress. At the same time, stress is an absolutely normal reaction of the body. It is important to form an adequate attitude to the situation. It will help graduates to rationally allocate energy for preparing and passing the exam. The exam is just one of life's tests, many of which have yet to be passed. Don't make the event too important to increase excitement. Be sure: everyone who went to school can pass the exam. All assignments are based on the school curriculum. Having prepared properly, you will definitely pass the exam.

    1. How long are the USE results valid?

The results of the unified state examination for admission to training for undergraduate and specialist programs are valid for four years following the year of obtaining such results. (according to part 2 of article 70 of the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" dated December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ)

    1. Where and when will you be able to see your work, which has already been checked?

According to the Procedure for conducting the GIA, the USE participant can see his work only when considering an appeal on disagreement with the points awarded. The Conflict Commission requests from the RSCI printed images of the examination paper of the graduate who filed the appeal, which are then presented to the USE participant.

In addition, a number of regions use the opportunity to familiarize USE participants with their results through information and communication technologies, including posting scanned images of works on specialized sites.

Images of the works can also be found on the website. The decision to publish the results on the official USE portal is taken by the regional information processing center of each region.

    1. Will the test portion be canceled in exams in the humanities?

It is planned to gradually exclude the part with a choice of answers from the USE assignments in all subjects. At the moment, tasks with a choice of answers in 7 academic subjects (Russian language, mathematics, literature, history, social studies, geography and computer science and ICT) are excluded from the KIM USE.

In addition, in the KIM USE in physics, tasks with a choice of one correct answer were excluded and tasks with a short answer were added.

The structure of part 1 of the KIM USE in chemistry has been fundamentally changed. Tasks are grouped into separate thematic blocks: basic and advanced levels of difficulty.

In the KIM USE in biology, tasks with a short answer are excluded.

    1. How many electives is it advisable to take?

The USE participant independently chooses the number of subjects to participate in the USE. As a rule, it depends on the list of entrance examinations to the university to which the student is going to enter.

    1. What should the exam participant carry with him upon arrival at the exam location?

In the PPE, the USE participant takes with him:

    • gel, capillary pen with black ink;
    • identity document;
    • medicines and food (if necessary);
    • teaching and education tools (in mathematics, a ruler; in physics - a ruler and a non-programmable calculator; in chemistry - a non-programmable calculator; in geography - a ruler, protractor, non-programmable calculator);
    • USE participants with disabilities, disabled children and disabled children - special technical means.
    1. Will they have time to issue certificates to graduates if the last USE is scheduled for the end of June?

The issuance of a certificate is influenced only by the results of the exam in compulsory subjects (Russian language and mathematics), which will already be known by the graduation evenings.

    1. Can I opt out of the selected item? Is it possible not to come to the exam? Will this affect the results?

The participant may not come to the exam, which is not included in the list of compulsory academic subjects.

The exam in the subject is considered not passed only if the USE participant scored below the minimum threshold established by Rosobrnadzor.

In case of failure to appear for the exam, information on the results of the exam in the federal information system will not be available.

    1. Can I take a chocolate bar and a bottle of water with me to the exam? Will the organizers take this away from me?

There are no restrictions on the availability of drinking water and chocolate in the exam by the normative legal acts governing the state final certification of 11th grade graduates.

However, it should be borne in mind that the packaging of drinking water and chocolate should not contain prohibited reference materials.

    1. I passed the TRP tests for a gold mark. I know that universities give additional points for this, in the Omsk region we have basically one point. I do not have time to participate in the Olympiad in physical culture because of going to training camps and competitions. Please tell me whether the issue of our sports achievements in sports-oriented universities being counted as the results of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren was not considered.

According to clause 44 of the Procedure for admission to universities 2016/17. upon admission to training under bachelor's degree programs, a higher education organization may award points, including for:

    • the presence of a certificate of secondary general education with honors or a certificate containing information about the awarding of a gold or silver medal;
    • the presence of a gold insignia of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (TRP) and a certificate for it of the established sample (upon admission to training in specialties and areas of training that are not related to specialties and areas of training in the field of physical culture and sports) ...
In this case, an applicant can be awarded for individual achievements no more than 10 points in total. The list of individual achievements taken into account during admission to the university, and the procedure for recording them, is established by the university independently.
    1. What could be the reasons on the basis of which changes are made to the list of exams after February 1?

A list of specific reasons is not established by regulatory legal acts. The GIA-11 procedure established that illness or other documented circumstances are recognized as valid reasons. At the same time, life is multifaceted and there can be an infinite number of reasons. The validity of the reasons is determined by the GEC of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation independently.

    1. I signed up for the exam, but I can be admitted to the hospital on exam days. What should I do to take the exams later and when can I take them?

A graduate who missed the USE due to illness, submits a medical certificate to the school (other USE participants - to the organization where they registered to participate in the USE). The school promptly transmits information to the state examination commission so that it can assign a graduate another (reserve) day for passing the exam, provided for by a single schedule.

    1. Are video cameras installed in classrooms to check teachers or students?

The installation of a video surveillance system is provided primarily to ensure safety and suppress the facts of violations both on the part of the USE participants and other persons involved in the exam.

    1. Who creates control measurement materials for the exam and how does it happen? Could we take part in this?

KIM USE is developed on the basis of the federal component of the state standard of basic general and secondary general education (order of the Ministry of Education of Russia dated 05.03.2004 No. 1089 "On approval of the federal component of state educational standards for primary general, basic general and secondary (complete) general education") Institute of Pedagogical Measurements ”(FIPI), namely by the federal commissions for the development of the CIM USE (FKR). The FKR includes methodologists, researchers, specialists from educational authorities, teachers of general education institutions and teachers of secondary and higher vocational education institutions.
During the development of CMM, information security measures are taken, including the allocation of restricted access zones in which video surveillance is conducted. The participation of unauthorized persons in the development of CMM is not allowed.

    1. The Unified State Exam in foreign languages includes a section "Speaking". Will there be an oral part in other humanitarian subjects?

At present, the question of introducing the oral part of the Unified State Exam in other humanitarian subjects is under consideration.

    1. How will history-based CMMs for blind children be printed? Will they include maps, paintings or architecture buildings?

For blind participants in the unified state examination, control measuring materials on history will be printed in Braille. There are no assignments for working with historical maps and illustrative material in these control measurement materials. They are replaced by tasks in which, instead of a map, a description is given, for example, of military operations, and instead of an illustration, a description of a cultural monument.

Control measuring materials passed a special examination, which established the possibility of their use in the exam for participants with disabilities.

    1. Do students of secondary general education schools with disabilities who graduate from the 11th grade and who have chosen the GVE form for passing the GIA, due to its ease, have the opportunity to enter a university? And what do you need to do for this?

Admission to undergraduate and specialist programs on the basis of secondary general education is carried out on the basis of the results of the unified state exam (hereinafter - the USE), assessed on a 100-point scale, which are recognized as the results of entrance examinations.

If a participant with a disability chooses the GVE form for passing the GIA, then in order to enter the university he will need to pass the entrance tests conducted by the university independently.

    1. I took the exam in 2014 and entered the university. But now I want to enter another university and another specialty. To do this, I need to pass one more subject that I had not taken before, I took the other three two years ago, but I signed up for them too. Please tell me if my old results will remain if I pass these subjects again this year, but get a lower score?

The USE results you received in 2014 are valid until 2018 inclusive.

Thus, you can choose the list of required exams at will, including for improving the results of previous years, and when entering the university you can choose the best of these results in any combination.

    1. I signed up for the exam in history, but now I want to take social studies. Can I change the subject and take the Unified State Exam in Social Studies this year?

According to the GIA-11 order, students can change (supplement) the choice of an academic subject (list of academic subjects) after February 1 if they have valid reasons (illness or other documented circumstances).

In this case, the student submits an application to the State Examination Commission indicating the changed list of academic subjects for which he plans to take the Unified State Exam, and the reasons for changing the previously announced list. The specified application is submitted no later than two weeks before the start of the relevant exams. If the HEC considers your reasons to be valid, you will be able to participate in the Social Studies exam in the current year.

If you changed your mind about which subjects you choose to take, or forgot to indicate the subject you need in your application for participation in the exam, this is not a valid reason to change your choice of subject. You will be able to pass social studies in a year by submitting an application about it in due time to the places of registration, which are determined by the regional education authorities.

    1. Will anyone who gets a bad mark in any subject in grade 11 be admitted to the exam?

In order for a graduate to receive admission to the Unified State Exam, his annual marks in all academic subjects of the curriculum for grades 10 and 11 must be at least satisfactory. Also, prerequisites for admission of grade 11 graduates to the Unified State Exam are a credit for an essay (presentation) and the absence of academic debt.

    1. If I spoil the exam form, can it be replaced?

If, in your opinion, the form is damaged, you need to invite the organizer to assess whether the form is really damaged or it is enough to make corrections in it. Misprints or misprints (in the registration form or in the answer form No. 1 or No. 2) are not grounds for replacement.

It should be borne in mind that you cannot change the form separately from the individual kit. Only the complete set is changed, the examination tasks will also be replaced completely.

Replacement of forms can be carried out only before the start of assignments. If the form was damaged during the exam, then the entire set must be handed over to the organizer in the audience and leave the exam point. In this case, by the decision of the GEC, you will be admitted to the exam in this subject on a reserve day.

    1. Can I get my points reduced on appeals?

When considering an appeal, the conflict committee will fully re-check the examination paper. After rechecking, the scores can change both upward and downward if incorrect answers and inaccuracies are revealed that were not noticed during the first check.

    1. How many days after the appeal is processed, the results will be known?

The decision of the disputed committee on appeals on disagreement with the points set is announced on the day of the meeting of such a committee. Further, the results are sent for recalculation (if they have changed) and are communicated to the participants within the standard time frame within at least seven working days.

    1. Am I obliged to provide printed essay forms when entering a university?

Universities have the ability to view scanned images of essay forms in a specialized system. When applying for admission, the applicant indicates only the desire to present the final essay as an individual achievement.

      1. In your opinion, what are the objectives of monitoring studies to assess the quality of education? How and for what should the results of regional monitoring be used in educational institutions?

First of all, the results can and should be used to identify problem areas, develop programs to improve the quality of education, training programs for specialists in the field of education. They can also be used for an objective assessment of the results obtained at the school level with subsequent work on a program for the development of education in the region. After all, if the school shows a bad result according to all monitoring, it means that it needs help!

      1. My child participated in NIKO (5th grade testing in mathematics). We got results, but I would like to see proven work. Can this be done? If so, how?

It is possible to see the work and points. The check was carried out remotely in electronic form, so it is impossible to see the check itself. To get acquainted with the work and the results of the check, you can contact Rosobrnadzor or use the contacts on the website eduniko.ru.

        1. If the schools conduct the All-Russian Testing Works independently, will this not lead to falsification of the results and distortion of the real knowledge of students? After all, low grades of students' work will badly affect the image of the school?

All-Russian testing works (VTP) are diagnostic works that are carried out to assess the individual achievements of schoolchildren, and their integral results can be used to formulate programs for the development of education systems in municipalities and regions. The direct organizer of the CDW will be the school itself, coordinated by the municipality and the subject of the Russian Federation. At the federal level, the development of uniform options for verification work is ensured in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards, with the further formation of a single bank of tasks. Here, rather, on the contrary - a negative result will be a sign that the school, honestly diagnosing itself, needs help, in developing measures to overcome the identified difficulties, and in shaping a development program.

        1. How often will verification work be carried out?

2 times a year (in autumn and spring).

        1. Will it be possible to get acquainted with the results of verification work?

All-Russian testing is carried out by the school. Consequently, the works can be viewed at the school.

        1. This academic year, it is planned to carry out All-Russian testing in grades 4-5 (hereinafter - VPR). Based on the results of the IDP, is it possible to obtain the results of verification work for the subject, municipality? Will it be possible to assess the results of the school at the level of the city, region, country?

Yes, there is such an opportunity.

        1. Is the possibility of introducing final attestation in grades 4, similar to final exams in grades 9 and 11, being considered?

No. The school itself determines the form of intermediate certification for students of 4 grades.

        1. Are you planning to introduce the final certification (mini USE) in 4 grades?

Mini exam is not planned. It is planned to approbate and conduct diagnostic work (similar to the test work), which are carried out to assess the individual achievements of students - All-Russian test works. They will be conducted by the schools themselves, but using uniform versions of assignments for the entire country, developed at the federal level. The data obtained will be used to monitor learning outcomes for the federal state educational standard for primary schools.

Meanwhile, not every institute or university is ready to accept a college graduate who does not have a USE score in both compulsory and specialized subjects. Moreover, in recent years, the Ministry of Education and Science has increasingly announced its intention to abolish such a privilege for holders of diplomas of secondary vocational education. So soon yesterday's students of the secondary school will pass the competition for admission on an equal basis with other applicants.

In this regard, the question arises - where can the USE graduated from school a few years ago and young professionals who have already graduated from college who plan to improve their educational level in undergraduate programs can be passed.

  • Firstly, preparation courses for the unified state examination in the subjects required for admission can be taken even during the period of study at the secondary school: some (but not all) educational institutions provide such an opportunity for their students. This is convenient for those who have definitely decided on the choice of the future direction, and, moreover, does not require additional energy costs: the secondary school independently sends lists of applicants to the reception points for registering for exams. All that is required of a potential student is to "tighten up" knowledge of the subjects of the school curriculum and be on time at the appointed date and time.
  • Secondly, pre-university training centers operate at leading Russian institutes and universities: here a college graduate can learn about the rules and procedures for conducting tests, write a trial test, then fully pass the USE and receive a legal certificate that replaces the university entrance exam. The advantage of the latter option is the ability to receive an admission benefit, whether it be a discount on tuition or even admission to a budget place.
  • Thirdly, everyone has the right to contact the education department of their region and personally register for exams, bypassing intermediaries. Municipal educational authorities conduct the necessary tests in the USE format both for graduates who completed their studies in schools in previous years, and for holders of vocational education diplomas.

It is useful to know that graduates of past years can try their hand at passing uniform state exams in any locality of the Russian Federation, regardless of registration and age restrictions. The main condition is to present the necessary documents, the main of which is a school certificate, and also have time to submit an application before February 1 of the current year. Otherwise, admission will have to be postponed for at least another year.

The purposeful passing of the Unified State Exam, preceding the subsequent enrollment in a university after college, is a chance to secure a higher education, master the desired profession and, ultimately, ensure a decent life for yourself.

How to take an exam after college

Usually, to continue their studies, those who have a college diploma do not need to take the Unified State Exam - the university entrance exams are enough. Passing the USE is required only when a student wants to change specialization and enter a faculty of a different profile. In addition, an applicant who passes the exam gets an advantage and can apply to five or even more educational institutions at once.

What do you need to do to pass the Unified State Exam with a diploma of secondary education?

  1. Decide on the university and find out the list of compulsory subjects.
  2. To prepare for an exam.
  3. On a certain day, come to the exam point and complete the tasks.
  4. Find out the results.

For each subject, a minimum result is determined that allows an applicant to enter a university: for social studies it is 42 points, for computer science - 40, for mathematics - 27, etc.

Admission rules for applicants for the programs of "Secondary vocational education" -

Since 2009, the Unified State Exam is considered compulsory for school graduates. Pupils who have studied at school for eleven years are required to take Russian language and mathematics, as well as their chosen specialized subjects, in order to receive a certificate of secondary general education. But what about those who want to leave the educational institution a couple of years earlier, do they need to take the USE after the 9th grade? And what about those who studied in colleges, technical schools or institutes - you will learn about this in this article.

Do I need to take the exam after grade 9?

Certification is mandatory at school after grades 9 and 11. That is why schoolchildren have the right to unlearn for only nine years. However, they will have to take the GIA, which is an analogue of the USE. It also serves to control the acquired knowledge, but its results do not affect competitions in secondary vocational education institutions. The role is played only by the obtained certificate.

First, you need to find out if there is a need for ninth-graders to take the exam.

Do I need to take the exam after college or technical school?

Compared to the years of previous years, today a smaller number of institutes are ready to enroll applicants who have received secondary vocational education, but have not passed the final state certification. Also, on the part of the Ministry of Education, statements are becoming more frequent that it is necessary to abolish the opportunity for graduates of colleges and technical schools to enter universities if they do not have USE scores. There is a possibility that the conditions between college students and former high school students who graduated from grade 11 will become equal. However, the question remains how it works now.

There are two options for the development of events:

After graduating from college, a student, for example, by profession "Cook", wants to continue his education at the institute in the same direction. In this case, there is no need for him to pass the compulsory or specialized subjects of the exam, it will be sufficient to successfully pass the entrance examinations directly at the university.

After several years of study in a certain specialty, a person realizes that he wants to develop further in a completely different field and chooses a university and faculty of a different direction. Then he is simply obliged, like the former eleventh graders, to take the exam.

The same is the case with those who graduated from technical schools. There are a number of universities that are ready to enroll former students of the secondary school directly to the second or third faculty, but in practice this is quite rare.

Do I need to take the Unified State Exam after graduation?

People who have already received a crust on their first higher education are often worried about whether they, like schoolchildren, need to take the Unified State Exam in order to get a second. An important fact is that the second higher education is always carried out on a paid basis. Each university establishes its own rules for admitting applicants who already have bachelor's or specialist's degrees. Some institutes look at the grades received in the course of study in the past, in others they conduct entrance tests or interviews. But there is no need to take the exam. According to the law, the age limit in Russia for admission to a university is 50 years. Even those who graduated from school earlier, before the introduction of the USE, have the right to enter the institute on a general basis.

Although it is not necessary to take the second higher Unified State Exam, nevertheless, the requirements imposed by the university on applicants are still high. It is assumed that those wishing to get a second degree are serious about this matter and intend to gain real knowledge.

Do I need to take the exam?

Another academic year has begun. In all schools, high school students are prepared for the next passing of the unified state exam. Meanwhile, heated debates continue and the discussion of the question of whether the USE is necessary for our education system?

Opponents are convinced that the test form for assessing knowledge does not fully show the creative potential of the examinees. It is not acceptable to evaluate answers in literature, history and other humanitarian disciplines using a test system. In turn, supporters of a unified state examination insist on the unification of educational standards. In their opinion, this is what will allow to equalize the chances of applicants from various social strata when entering universities. Thus, knowledge is assessed impartially, by counting the correct answers and objective numbers, regardless of the human factor. This system becomes an obstacle to the flourishing corruption in the field of education.

If you delve deeper into the essence of the problem and think about it, then none of the proposed system is perfect. The exam is a kind of test that people with different types of nervous system and stress resistance cope with in their own way. They are deliberately placed in an unequal position. Some can instantly use working memory and activate their brains in a stressful situation, while others need more time for this. Possessing a huge store of knowledge, they cannot use it quickly. Sometimes slow-witted people are smarter and more talented than those who think quickly and deftly operate with words.

Unfortunately, the modern method of passing the unified state exam has its own problems. For example, not all questions in the test are formulated correctly. When answering, difficulties arise, respectively, this can affect the final result. There is also too much fuss in the organizational part: students are brought to other schools, there are a lot of problems with passports, with filling out forms. All this psychologically affects the examinees (stress and external pressure). As for the assessment of knowledge, one should take into account a simple truth - creative thought cannot exist without fantasy, imagination, a bright flash and sudden insight. This is the result of deep thought and time. The rigid time frames and clear parameters of the formatting of the answers ruin all creativity in the compositions and answers of Part C.

So, the dispute about the need for the exam remains relevant to this day. You can talk for a long time about the pros and cons of the test system for taking exams, but it is also necessary to solve the current problems. After all, this method of passing exams has a lot of shortcomings.
