Is autumn already casting a blues? Well, there is at least one way to get rid of it - go on a cruise around the world. Moreover, many of these trips begin in September-November.
First, you need to take care of about three free months - this is how long a cruise around the world lasts. As a rule, cruises of this duration start in one of the ports of the USA or Canada, but there are shorter programs, starting from European ports (for example, from Italy and Greece). In any case, you will need to apply for several visas at once. The hassle of documents is fully compensated by impressions: depending on the route, you will visit two or even more continents, see exotic islands and the endless ocean in all its glory, cross the date line or the equator.
The cost of the cruise usually includes accommodation and meals on board, as well as entertainment programs, fitness, swimming pools and other attributes of a luxury holiday. Summer is a wonderful time, it is laughter, smiles and just a good mood. Summer is also a time to read! On June 2, in the Dubovskoy Children's Library, the grand opening of the traditional Summer Readings "With a book around the world in 90 days of summer" took place. On this day, young readers became not only spectators, but also direct participants in fairy-tale quizzes, outdoor games and a real theatrical performance “Chitalia! Chitalia! Wonderful country! ”, Where the main characters were Signor Tomato and Chipolino. Together with the fairy-tale heroes, the young book readers amicably and cheerfully solved riddles, answered questions about the knowledge of literary characters, participated in competitions, played aerial tennis, laughed, sang and danced. The children plunged into the positive and spectacular atmosphere of the summer reading holiday. The children's answers to the questions of the quiz proved that really the best readers gathered in the hall. At the celebration, small gifts were presented to all those present, the real leaders of the summer readings. I would like to believe that the children will remember the warm welcome in the library and will want to come here again and again.
Cognitive game library
Guys are inquisitive people! .. In the summer they not only run and jump, but also try to learn something useful and interesting. The doors of the Central Intersettlement Library do not get tired of opening and closing ... Readers, both small and large, come, go for books: some with lists of literature assigned for the summer; who himself decided to spend leisure time for cognitive reading.
And librarians try to make their beloved readers interesting, so that they would come to Knizhkin's house with pleasure. Therefore, the boys and girls are offered contests, meetings, various fun. And on July 5, in the Children's and Youth Department of the library, there was a game library "For 90 Days of Summer - Around the World", which was prepared by librarians N.V. Aksenova and M.M. Tsepkova.
Everyone loves to travel! And travel is very different. Librarians invited the children to travel across countries and continents together with books and favorite writers. The purpose of the event is to interest readers, expand the circle of reading, acquaint them with new literary names for them, so that over the long ninety days of summer they can visit old France together with the Three Musketeers by A. Dumas, and get acquainted with distant America by taking part in adventures of the heroes M. Twain and F. Cooper, and even visit the far North, where brave heroes from the works of J. London live.
