Step 1 We take carrots, onions, minced pork, rice, eggs, spices, sour cream, cabbage and tomato juice.

  1. I used pork as meat for cooking these lazy cabbage rolls, about 500 g. A third of a glass of rice should be boiled for 15 minutes in two parts water. That is, one third of a glass of rice accounts for two thirds of a glass of water.
  2. Combine the minced meat with boiled rice until half cooked in a bowl or saucepan.
  3. Finely chop the cabbage (two handfuls in total), then put it in a saucepan and fill it with water. Boil the cabbage for 10 minutes from the moment the water boils, put it in a colander and let the water drain.
  4. Add the cabbage to the minced meat and rice bowl.
  5. We moisten our hands in water and collect the minced meat portions. Form oblong cutlets from it, which we bread in breadcrumbs. Add salt (a heaped teaspoon) and ground pepper to the minced meat. We knead the minced meat. Here you should pay attention to the fact that the quality of the minced meat is very important. You should give this process at least 3 minutes and knead the minced meat with your hands.

  1. Put the rice to cook. Both round and long-grain are suitable. Rinse it well before cooking. Pay attention to the way rice is processed in production. Steamed cereals retain their shape better, and polished after cooking turns into porridge. Therefore, it is better to take the first one. Pour 1 to 1 water over the rice and place on the stove. Cook over low heat until the liquid is completely boiled away. The rice will be slightly undercooked. But it will come to readiness during frying and stewing cabbage rolls.
  2. Prepare your vegetables. Chop the onion into small cubes.
  3. Grate the carrots coarsely or cut into thin strips.

Lazy cabbage rolls will still turn out juicy and tender due to stewing in a pan in tomato sauce. Transfer the minced meat to a deep bowl. Add finely chopped greens to it (I had parsley).
