Nightlife on Koh Samui ranges from relaxed lounge bars to youth dance nightclubs. Don't expect to see Pattaya or Bangkok here, however, you won't be bored.
The open bars offer a relaxed atmosphere for a group of friends who wish to head out to a livelier party afterwards. Small bars can be found throughout Koh Samui, but most are concentrated in the main areas where Koh Samui's nightlife takes place, namely Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut and Bang Rak. After all the drinks in the bar are finished, it's time to head to one of the largest parties in Koh Samui.
One of the most popular nightclubs is Green Mango in Chaweng. Disco starts at 10 pm and lasts until dawn. The large dance floor pulsates with the crowd until the last melody and the first ray of the sun. You can also afford to relax at tables near the main dance floor.
Popular Reggae Pub in Chaweng, easily recognizable by the Bob Marley face logo. The main musical direction here is Reggae, very often there is live music in the club.

Don't miss the weekly women's Thai boxing at downtown Lamai bars (free) or one of the beach parties hosted at Beach Republic and elsewhere - there's nothing better than sitting on the beach with a drink while enjoying the pleasant background music. ... Lamai is comparatively smaller than Chaweng, so it is enough to walk here to see all the entertainment. 
Cabaret
Cabaret shows are relatively new entertainment on Koh Samui, but gradually, the show is gaining its fans among locals and tourists. The show includes rather complex musical numbers with traditional songs and dances (a mixture of Chinese and American folklore, as well as classical and modern Thai dances), spiced with jokes on popular themes.

There are also many clubs in Lamai, this beach is a little quieter and smaller than its neighbor Chaweng Beach. The Fusion Club is located here. There is also a huge number of open-air clubs here, local beauties crave your attention.
Swing Bar Lamai is a place that also needs to be paid attention to. Here you can have a good time with a company of friends sipping a cocktail or beer, hookah is also available. This category of people, the ladyboys, as they are also called, are treated positively on the island. No one would even think of making fun of them, or infringing on their rights. Moulin Rouge cabaret

Ice Samui Bar
Ice Samui can be called the most exotic destination for any tropical island. The name of the institution speaks about itself quite eloquently - it will be cold inside and from that fun. Another place that everyone in Koh Samui knows about is Ark Bar. It is positioned as a nightclub, but daytime is also happy for its guests. They are in a hurry to have a tasty and not too expensive lunch, and at the same time admire the stunning seascapes, sitting at tables on the beach. With the onset of night, this place is transformed: big pillows appear, candles are shining, enchanting music is pouring. The bar has a good reputation, so couples with children come here, families who do not like too much fun stay here and stay late at night.
Chaweng Phetbuncha Stadium
At the very beginning of Soi Reggae Street, leading to the famous bar of the same name, there is an imposing structure, which is difficult to pass and miss - Chaweng Phetbuncha Stadium. Here representatives of the best fighting schools of the island compete for the right to have the title of champion. Battles start after 21.00, but for tickets it is worth coming an hour earlier. Entrance prices are targeted both at the richer public, who prefers to watch the battle, sitting in the "VIP section" on cozy sofas, and at the more modest guests of the establishment.
For greater effect, the fighters are supported by traditional music and hooting from the crowd. In general, the guests of the stadium note that an atmosphere of pleasant tension reigns here, there is a general interest in what is happening. You won't get bored, especially since there is a bar nearby that warms up emotions with all kinds of drinks.
