Dear friends!

On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, I welcome the participants of the V National Championship of working professions "Young Professionals" (sitessia)!

The Young Professionals movement is becoming more and more popular in our country. If only 306 people participated in the first championship in Togliatti in 2013, then in the fifth, in Krasnodar, four times more specialists will compete - about 1200.

The geography of the championship has significantly expanded, the number of competencies has increased, and the level of training of teams has noticeably increased. To a large extent, thanks to the Young Professionals movement, the domestic system of secondary vocational education is developing.

Last year, the Russian team finished the EuroSkills championship in Gothenburg, Sweden with a brilliant result. I wish all participants of the Russian national championship the same will to win, self-confidence, concentration and purposefulness that our guys showed in Sweden. Good luck!

Olga Golodets
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation

Dear friends!

During the course of its holding, the Young Professionals championship has gained popularity among young people and has become an integral part of the Russian vocational education system. The introduction of best practices in the training of workers provides the necessary level of competence of specialists for the Russian economy.

Thanks to the unique experience of competitions, the contestants improve their labor skills, and students of educational organizations get acquainted with professions, which allows them to consciously choose a specialty after graduation.

I wish the participants and guests of the 5th National Championship of Working Professions "Young Professionals" bright solutions to non-standard and complex competitive tasks, success in achieving their goals, as well as an atmosphere of friendly rivalry that creates opportunities for the manifestation of skills and talents.

Olga Vasilyeva
Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation

Dear friends!

I welcome the participants, experts, delegates and guests of the final of the V National Championship "Young Professionals" (sitessia)!

The championship is gaining momentum in Russia, becoming a significant event in the life of the regions, and most importantly, it gives young professionals the opportunity to prove themselves. I am very glad that the Kuban became a part of this grandiose event!

In the Krasnodar Territory, working professions have always been held in high esteem. And now, when our region is implementing investment projects, developing new production sites, we need young highly qualified personnel more than ever, able to work in accordance with modern high standards.

In the near future, you will have to go to work at the main production sites of the country. Your professionalism will determine the nearest development of Russia.

I wish victories to everyone who has come a long way from the regional stage to the championship final!

Veniamin Kondratiev
Governor of the Krasnodar Territory

Dear finalists, experts, colleagues and friends!

For the fifth time in Russia we are holding the finals of the National Championship "Young Professionals" (sitessia). This year the hospitable Kuban became the hostess of the tournament. A record number of contestants and experts will gather in Krasnodar - more than 3 thousand people. For the first time, the geography of the competition covered almost the entire country: 84 regions joined the championship movement!

We have grown not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively. After a series of regional championships, our traditional semi-finals, where participants were selected on a geographical basis - federal districts, gave way to qualifying competitions in blocks of competencies. This made it possible to create equal conditions for the participants, provide them with fair assessments, and identify worthy finalists.

It is important that the Sitessia championships are high-class competitive venues and a center of attraction for professionals from all over the world to exchange experiences.

The winners of the national final in Krasnodar will have the great honor to represent Russia on the international stage in future world championships.

I wish everyone to mobilize their knowledge and skills to the maximum in order to achieve the highest results!

May the strongest win!

Robert Urazov
General Director of the Union "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)"

Dear participants and experts of the V National Championship "Young Professionals" (sitessia) 2017!

I am glad to welcome you to the finals of the largest professional skills competition in Russia according to WorldSkills standards!

Today, our country is more than ever interested in developing its own industry, providing production with highly qualified personnel. National championships are capable of solving this problem, since they contribute to the professional orientation of young people, raising the standards of professional training, and popularizing working professions.

The scale and geography of the competition is only increasing every year. 84 regions have joined the WorldSkills movement in Russia. For four years, 236 regional championships were held in the country. The competition brought together more than 40 thousand students of secondary vocational educational institutions, whose performances were evaluated by 42 thousand experts and 1,400,000 spectators. The national team of sitessia adequately represents Russia at the World and European Championships. All this is evidence that the demand for working specialties in our country is increasing.

There are still many large-scale plans ahead - in 2017, the Sitessia team will have to defend the honor of the Russian flag at the World Championship in Abu Dhabi, in 2018 at the EuroSkills European Championship in Budapest, and in 2019 we need to adequately hold the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 World Championship in the capital of the Republic Tatarstan.

Therefore, I want to wish all the participants of the finals of the V National Championship "Young Professionals" (sitessia) in Krasnodar professional success, well-deserved victories and good luck!

Svetlana Chupsheva
Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives

Dear friends! Colleagues!

The final of the National Championship "Young Professionals" (sitessia) is only held for the fifth time, but over the years we have come a way that took decades for other countries. In 2016, for the second time in its history, our team took part in the EuroSkills European Championship and won it, beating Germany, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland. And this year we are sending a team to the WorldSkills World Championship in Abu Dhabi that will compete in all core competencies, and this will also be the first time. Not all countries are able to bring so many participants who could compete with dignity. In the history of Worldskills, there has never been such a rapid growth of national teams. After all, the number of team members speaks directly about the quality and scale of training. It's still hard for us to catch up with the world leaders, but we have a higher attention of the country's leadership and the overall team's charge for victory.

To determine who will represent our country at the world championship, these days in Krasnodar. I wish all participants of the national championship good luck and achieve exemplary results!

Dmitry Peskov
Director of the "Young Professionals" direction of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives

Dear participants of the final of the V National Championship "Young Professionals"!

Currently, the key task of Russian business is to train highly qualified specialists who are able to manage not only the machines that enterprises are equipped with today, but also those that will appear in the future.

The movement "Young Professionals" (sitessia) is gaining momentum every year. Every year, thousands of representatives of various professions take to the competition grounds to measure their strength, learn from experience and acquire new skills. The enthusiasm and indifference of the participants of the movement to their own professional development contribute to the improvement of qualifications and the growth of skills in all production and service areas in various business areas.

I want to note that our very young "personnel reserve" - schoolchildren - joins the movement. Three years ago, the Volnoe Delo Foundation initiated the JuniorSkills professional training and career guidance program for schoolchildren, in which children aged 10 to 17 take part. During this time, our initiative has come a long way: in the 2016-2017 season, more than 3,000 children took part in 56 regional JuniorSkills championships. Already this year, at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi, a pilot project of international competitions among schoolchildren will be presented, in which representatives of a number of other countries plan to take part. I am proud that this initiative started in Russia, and it is very important that it is positively received all over the world.

I am sure that new "stars" of working professions will light up at the current championship, which will help the further development of Russian industry.

I wish good luck to all teams, improve their skills and worthy victories!

Oleg Deripaska
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Basic Element
Founder of the Volnoe Delo Foundation

Dear friends and colleagues!

On behalf of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I welcome the participants and organizers of the finals of the V National Championship of Working Professions "Young Professionals" (sitessia)! The championship of working professions is held in Russia for the fifth time. The Russian economy needs highly qualified specialists and modern enterprises with advanced equipment. Therefore, by joint efforts, we are systematically working to popularize working professions and increase the prestige of a working person.

Without a doubt, the National Championship "Young Professionals" is the largest event to date, which determines the vector of development of professional education and career of a whole generation of children.

I wish all participants to maximize their talents and show the highest level of skill!
