Applying for a master's degree in Finland with Allterra Education

The decision to go to study abroad came to me when I was visiting a friend studying in Holland. The first-hand learning and campus tour impressed me immensely. After that, I decided to independently prepare a package of documents for admission to the magistracy. I chose a program that involved studying for a year in Delft, a year in Helsinki. I prepared a motivation letter, diploma, resume, received letters of recommendation, passed IELTS and sent everything to the reception. There was no certainty that I would enter, so I immediately decided that I needed to submit documents to several more universities. But since the preparation of the documents took a lot of time and effort, I decided that this time I needed to contact an educational agency.

I initially chose Allterra Education because I liked the site, which is informative and pleasantly designed. I called the agency and talked to Maria Lutsenko, a specialist in higher education abroad. Having gone to the first meeting, I realized that I was not mistaken. I really liked Maria's approach, her desire to understand the purpose of the training and her attentive attitude to my wishes. As a result, we decided to focus on enrolling in a magistracy in Finland, as a country with a very good IT education (also free) and the support of young entrepreneurs known throughout Europe. And although there was a week left until the end of accepting applications to Finnish universities, Maria convinced me that we would all be in time, because I already had the bulk of the documents. After the choice of universities, there was a week of intensive preparation of documents. Maria edited all my texts taking into account the peculiarities of the training programs and in a very organized and carefully prepared package of documents for each of the universities, and there were four of them. All documents were delivered on time. About three months later, answers began to come from universities. As a result, I was admitted to three out of four universities. Most of all, I wanted to go to Aalto University, and he was the first to receive a positive answer. I will never forget my joy :) Obtaining a study permit and finding housing went smoothly too, because there was no need to rush so much :) Now I have two years of study at Aalto ahead, and I hope that they will bring me a wonderful experience and the most vivid impressions.

I want to say a huge thank you to the Allterra Education team and especially to Maria Lutsenko. You are doing work that helps people make their dreams come true, opens up new horizons for them, and you do this work with a soul and very professional! I wish you success in your wonderful business!

With great gratitude,

Program: Bachelor's degree, Faculty of Engineering

Our faculty has a reputation for being the craziest in the whole university, and he fully answers this))

Today we got together early in the morning, we were given a huge bag of gifts (mostly - things with the symbols of the university and student organizations: a bottle for water, a towel, a hat, flip flops and a bunch of other things, and most importantly - a yellow helmet and a T-shirt! )

All day we just walked around the city and went as crazy as we could! All faculty!

First there was a concert - a small introduction from the "old" students. Everyone is so cool! So cheerful! Everyone says it's very hard to study, but everyone seems to be alive)

What have we not done! Basically, they ran around the city, played, danced) Today they did not feed normal food: they just handed out different pizzas and subs - subway sandwiches)

One of the main traditions of first-year engineers is to smear purple paint from head to toe. And you can also swim in it, which I did))))) Almost everyone did so, today it was hot: +26

It was really very cool) The paint is not toxic, but it does not wash off immediately)))) So now I am very similar to the Mystic from the X-men, only purple)))))))

Then we put on our yellow helmets and paraded all over the city (engineering department only!)

It was just unrealistic! The university has its own police, especially for us, traffic was blocked on the main streets. We just walked, chanted something, so many people gathered to watch) We walked along one of the largest streets, through a huge shopping center, all the cars were beeping to us, but what is there - even trams))

Everyone somehow got to know each other at the same time, although after everyone was smeared with paint, it became difficult to recognize each other)

In the evening we had a small lecture, because tomorrow we will have a test (((It's just to test the skills, how ready we are: no marks are given for it. But it's still a little sad that the test (

Engineers are generally different from other students: as I understand it, it will be the hardest for us to study, we start this Thursday, although the rest are only next week, and our schedule is much more busy.

But then we come off the coolest, albeit in less time)
