Setting up MSI Gaming app
The first step is to make the program start automatically when Windows starts. To do this, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the window, a window will appear, put a checkmark in front of the item "Run Gaming App when windows starts". There are people who are annoyed or do not like the glow of logos on the GPU, if you are among these people, click the LED icon and select the options you need. Performance Profiles
The MSI Gaming App features three predefined profiles, allowing you to customize your MSI GAMING graphics card "s performance with a single click.
As you would expect from a gaming product, all MSI GAMING graphics cards are in Gaming Mode and ready for action out of the box. By using the MSI Gaming App however, you gain access to a high performance OC Mode profile for more demanding gaming sessions and Silent Mode for quiet performance during light use.

Clicking on the little eye icon in the top right tab will allow you to adjust the screen contrast to the visual experience you need. Simply open the tab and select one of the following modes for a better visual experience.

You can even fully customize your visual style to match your preference by clicking on the Customize tab. This gives you the option to adjust Gamma, Level, Brightness and Contrast of all colors at the same time or separately, allowing for extremely precise control.

MSI Gaming APP - What is this program?
The main function of MSI Gaming APP is to adjust the performance of MSI GAMING graphics adapters based on the user's current tasks. So, the application offers a choice of three ready-made modes of operation of the video card, between which you can switch at any time:
- Gaming Mode. In this mode, the video card takes on parameters that maximize the performance of computer games. This mode is enabled by default.
- OC Mode. This mode is great for 3D graphics developers. The graphics processor and memory of the video card are working at full capacity, allowing you to increase the performance of your 3D compiler programs (such as 3D Max or Zbrush).
- Silent Mode. In this mode, the performance of the video card is reduced to a minimum level, but sufficient in order, for example, to view high-quality video. Silent Mode allows you to reduce the power consumption of the video adapter and, as a result, its heating. When the temperature is low enough, the fan automatically turns off, i.e. the video card runs silently.
The MSI Gaming APP has other additional features. This, in particular, includes the function of auto-correction of the contrast of the image on the monitor. It also provides ready-made modes:
- Eye Rest. This mode mutes blue tones to reduce eye strain when using the computer in a dark room.
- In this mode, all colors on the monitor become more saturated, which makes the game even more fun.
- An intelligent function that automatically adjusts the contrast of the picture when watching movies. For example, dark scenes in movies are brighter, which relieves eye strain during extended viewing (the same function works in the opposite direction).
- In this mode, the user independently adjusts the image quality on the screen.
MSI Gaming APP also provides functions that allow you to control the hardware of your graphics card:
- An executable function that allows you to briefly increase the rotational speed of coolers to the maximum value. This allows you to cool the video card if necessary.
- Zero Frozer. A function reminiscent of the Silent Mode. However, the user independently chooses the heating temperature of the video card, at which the cooler will turn on.
- With this function, you can adjust the behavior of the LED backlighting built into all MSI GAMING graphics cards. There are several backlight blinking modes to choose from, it is also possible to adjust its brightness and glow color.
- OSD. System tools that allow you to display various information about the state of the video card during the game - the number of frames per second, heating temperature, GPU load, memory, etc.
