Legends of Mount Iremel

Mount Iremel is a symbol of the beauty of the South Urals. Climbing Iremel is an unforgettable experience that you can get only in our mountains! The freshness of the taiga air, the reflection of the sun in the spray of mountain water! Heaven above the peaks ... The Ural mountains at the birth of the Earth were the highest on the planet. Each stone contains the Memory of the past greatness. The mountains attract with their beauty, warm charm of powerful mossy rocks and clear light of the highlands.

Iremel has always attracted people to itself (translated Iremel means "Sacred Mountain"). It cannot be otherwise. Iremel, majestic and at the same time hospitable, looks like a great building - a monument to beauty, built by nature itself. Everything is extraordinary: from the composition of the forests to the shape of the summit.

The high-mountain plateau is surrounded by the most beautiful Ural forests, which cover the “sacred mountain” in three rings.
The first one consists of light mixed forests with fragrant fir bushes and glades, on which fireweed blazes in summer.
The second ring, like a castle wall, high and ancient, consists of centuries-old fir and larch trees.

The third ring is high-mountain glades, on which in the spring the honey aroma of flowering sour cherry is poured, and in the summer the Ural grasses, similar to the jungle, reign! And already beyond the third ring, like a miracle, like a stream of pure joy, the beautiful peaks of the Iremel Mountains appear to you.

The peaks have the following names: Big Iremel, Small Iremel, Kabanchik and Zherebchik. The main peak, Big Iremel, rises to a height of 1582 meters. According to legend, Big Iremel personifies a person, Small Iremel personifies his son, Boar and Zherebchik are his domestic animals.

The top of the Big Iremel looks like a gigantic trapezoid, crowned with a platform of 1000 meters along the perimeter. Probably the best view of the mountains of the Southern Urals opens from the top of Bolshoy Iremel. On the one hand - the highest peak of the Southern Urals Yamantau and the Zigalga ridge, on the other hand - a view of the Nurgush and Avalyak ridges. All the mountains of the Southern Urals are visible at a glance!

The peaks themselves consist of huge boulders, bizarrely, but monolithically constituting a single whole. The Ural mountains are the oldest on the planet, and each stone keeps the memory of the birth of the Earth.

Magnitogorsk businessman Yuri Bakhtin told us about the cross cut in the rock, the secret lake and some other "miracles" of the highest mountain in the Southern Urals. He sent his notes by e-mail, and we quote them.

“On the Bakhty ridge,” wrote Yuri, “there is a huge cross carved into the rock. It can be seen only from afar, near the cross disappears. And it opens to the eye only from one point, and only to those who are meant to see it. And the sun has to be in a certain place (like in the movie "McKenna's Gold").

Isn't this the place about which Paracelsus said (XIV century): "The Banner of the Cross will be hoisted on one of the mountain peaks of this mountainous country, and the Light of the Cross will shine over all the humiliated and rejected"?

In the next letter, Yuri pointed out: “In this photo, the lake that I dreamed in my childhood and which I found 50 years later at the sacred mountain Iremel! It was really hidden among the swamps, as it is said in the Avesta about this lake, the existence of which even the local guides did not know, only one hermit - Abdullah.

This lake is located in a unique healing zone, where, in addition to sapropel mud, there are springs where asthma is especially treated. It was in this place that it was decided to build, first of all, a health center for children who are sick in an extremely acute form, possibly for permanent residence. "

And finally, another mystery was the runes of Iremel - mysterious signs carved on the stones, which Yuri Bakhtin discovered on the slopes of this mountain. In the letter, he limited himself to photographs alone, promising to tell everything in detail when he met. But so far the meeting has not taken place.

Mount Iremel is one of the most beautiful and highest in the South Urals. In Bashkiria, on the territory of which it is located, Iremel is considered a sacred mountain.
There are many places on earth that people have declared sacred. Most of these places have been worshiped by people at different times. Therefore, it is quite possible that the sacred mountain Iremel was considered in ancient times, when the ancestors of the Indo-Europeans lived around it.
An analysis of geographical data from the books of the ancient Iranians and archaeological discoveries made in the Urals at the end of the 20th century suggests that it was Mount Iremel that was the prototype of the sacred Mount Khukarya.
The fact that at the top of Iremel - Khukarya all the waters and rivers get their beginning is easy to check by referring to geographical maps. Iremel is a kind of water center of Eurasia. On the rivers from it you can swim to the Arctic Ocean, the Caspian Sea, and through the Volga-Don canal to the Azov, Black and Mediterranean seas. And if we take into account that the Volga-Don canal was laid along a dried-up channel that used to connect the Volga and Don, it turns out that from Mount Iremel in ancient times it was possible to swim to Greece, where the sacred Olympus was considered the place of chants and feasts of the gods.
However, given that the Greeks are one of the branches of the Indo-European peoples, there is reason to believe that the real Hellenic Olympus in the ancestral home of the Indo-Europeans had a prototype. Northern Europeans, the youngest in the family of Indo-European peoples, believed that their gods lived in the fortress city of Asgard, erected on a high cliff in the center of the earth.
When you see Iremel, a strange feeling comes - the giant mountain seems to be folded artificially, and the rocks on its top resemble the ruins of a fortress ...
Legends have preserved information that the ancestors of the Slavs once lived at the sources of the sacred Ra-river. Researchers believe that Ra is the Volga River, when in ancient times the source of the Belaya River, which originates in the Urals from the slopes of Mount Iremel, was taken as its source. In the Urals, there lived a family that kept secret knowledge. Here the "Veles's book" or the book "Svyatogor" was perceived.
It is tempting to assume that Iriy is paradise in the view of the ancient Slavs and that Mount Iremel is one and the same place. And it was the Slavs who left the sacred mountain in the Urals a name that has come down to our time.
The Slavs represented Iriy as a heavenly island. And when today you stand on the top of Iremel, you obviously experience the same feelings that people who visited this place thousands of years ago - the earth is under their feet, and there is only the sky around - an amazing sight, an incomparable sensation!
It is impossible to describe it. It can only be experienced.

Why is it this place that attracts people who want to know the spiritual essence of a person? Why exactly on the slopes of Iremel do people discover in themselves some hitherto hidden opportunities, in a different way they comprehend life? It turns out that not only our contemporaries came to Iremel to communicate with the unknown, this has been the custom since ancient times. As a rule, such places are called places of power.
Iremel has his own mysterious story. The very name of the mountain came to us from time immemorial, this is how the Turks who inhabited these lands (the ancestors of the modern Bashkirs) called it. Translated from the ancient Türkic, the word "Iremel" means "a place that gives a person strength", and the name of the village Tyuluk, located at the foot of the mountain (founded two centuries ago), translates as "desire". It is because of Tyulyuk's neighborhood with Iremel that the legend begins that supposedly on the top of the mountain any wishes come true, it is enough just to present a gift to the spirits of Iremel. In ancient times, human souls were brought to spirits. According to legend, the priests of the ancient peoples made bloody sacrifices on the top of the mountain in order to appease the gods and beg for a rich harvest from them.

Nowadays, they say, it is enough to tie a ribbon to the Wish Tree that grows at the top. Be that as it may, at all times, Mount Iremel was considered sacred by the Bashkirs.

Some people see in the placer of stones on the top of the mountain the remains of the once large man-made blocks….

Insidious perfume

For many years, only priests or heroes were allowed to climb the mountain. Even in our time, someone zealously defends the “holy mountain”. There is a known case when tourists put an Orthodox cross on the top of Iremel, but after a while it was found thrown off the pedestal ...
Iremel appears in many legends of both the Bashkir and Russian people. They say that its bowels keep untold riches, acquired by a mysterious people - Chudyu. People believed (and still believe to this day) that the water in the rivers originating on the slopes of Iremel has wonderful properties - it gives a person strength, heals the sick, and at night, on certain days and hours, it glows!
The path to the top of the "holy mountain" is not open to everyone. If a person goes to Iremel with a pure soul, then the mountain accepts him with joy, if his thoughts are black, it builds all sorts of intrigues on the way, as if not letting go to the goal.

Modern tourists themselves are already composing legends about the tricks of Father Iremel. The most common joke of the mountain is the loss, and then the sudden appearance of things of tourists or the inability to leave home. It is believed that spirits lead people, making them wander in three pines.
Nowadays, experts on anomalous phenomena talk about the fact that one can often observe UFOs over the mountain, meet Bigfoot and see such monsters, which have no names yet. Indeed, according to esotericists, it is on Iremel that the channel for the exit of positive energy from the earth is concentrated.

New Hyperborea?

There are hypotheses according to which Iremel is the ancestral home of the entire Slavic civilization, something like Hyperborea. This hypothesis is based on archaeological excavations carried out near the village of Akhunovo (Uchalinsky district), allegedly indicating that it was on Iremel that the Slavic civilization originated. It is even possible that it was in those places that the Slavic Vedas, the Book of Veles, and also the Book of Kolyada were written. And the village of Akhunovo itself is the abode of the god of light Kryshen.

According to the adherents of this hypothesis, the legend of Hyperborea is confirmed by the healing properties of the water of Iremel Lake, located near the village of Baysakal (about 12 kilometers from Iremel). This lake has the outlines of a regular circle, which suggests a bowl with Surya, a solar miraculous drink, brought by the god Roof, and the lake itself, according to legend, is the abode of the mystical bird Gamayun, on which the god flew in order to give birth to light - to ignite -flammable stone ".

Not far from Iremel there is a stone slope, popularly called the Tribune. It is somewhat reminiscent of the head of a bird. And ten meters from the mountain, there is a huge snow-white boulder. Is this just a coincidence, or does the legend of the Roof really have real roots?
There are many legends about Hyperborea, they are looking for it in the North, in Siberia, but, as we see, there is a hypothesis that it is located in the south of the Ural Mountains.

Legends about chudi

For a long time, there are legends that a certain mysterious people - a white-eyed chud - lived in these places a long time ago. In folk beliefs, Chud are skilled artisans and sorcerers. According to legends, this people lived in the Iremel caves shortly before the incorporation of the Urals into the Muscovy.

Old residents of the surrounding villages say that in reality there was once a people who lived on the slopes of the local mountains. He was peaceful, he lived quietly in the neighborhood with other people. The Chudi had their own religion, in the sacraments of which they did not initiate the newcomers. Allegedly, to this day, you can find the sacred altars of the Chudi in the Iremel caves. According to legend, people found out that the Chudi have untold riches. And they wanted to profit. But the Chud was not going to share with people, realizing that they would not be left alone anyway. And this people decided to hide forever in the depths of Iremel, in order to take with them all their secrets and riches. What kind of knowledge was so jealously guarded by the chud, the legend is silent.

To this day, people believe in this legend, but slightly modified. So, among tourists there is a legend about gnomes - a small people living in a mountain. There are, allegedly, caves, having climbed into which, a person forever becomes a prisoner of a stunted mountain people, dragging the unfortunate deep into the ground.

Once the author of these lines managed to write down the following story of a Baisakal old-timer: “There is one heaped cave on Iremel. Somehow a treasure seeker crept into it. I didn’t find anything, but later told me that I saw some books and ancient scriptures in the cave ”.

Esoteric tourism

However, no matter how incredible the legends about the “holy mountain” may seem, people go to Iremel with specific goals in order to improve themselves, to strengthen the spirit. Many of those who have been here noted that they began to think differently and look at life, acquired spiritual values that they could not even have thought of before. Some, after visiting the mountain and solitude at the top, where, as they say, people "look into their souls", returning home, never return to bad habits. According to esotericists, it is in this unique place that a person has a harmonization of subtle bodies, replenishment of energy, and spiritual rebirth. The reason for everything is the emergence to the surface of the earth of the very positive energy for which Iremel is famous among the initiates.
According to the assurances of specialists in anomalous phenomena, Iremel is a region of higher knowledge of the laws of nature, a high concentration of spiritual energy, as well as a more subtle transmission of energies in time and space, the relationship between man and the Universe, connection with the information field of the Earth - the noosphere.

Secrets of the sacred mountain

There are many legends about Iremel, and its steep and impassable slopes still keep many secrets. Mount Iremel is the key to understanding human nature. Translated from the ancient Türkic Iremel is a place that gives strength - a point of energy exit on the planet. It is no coincidence that the Persian kings at the beginning of the first millennium AD sent expeditions to the Urals. Ancient sources say that the legendary Zarathustra, who lived 5 thousand years ago in the Southern Urals, left on Mount Iremel the secret knowledge of mankind, written on gold plates.

Everyone who climbs this mountain using special techniques based on the knowledge of the ancients is purified. At the same time, there is a harmonization of the internal structure of a person and the restoration of the energy balance of the body. This is due to the healing properties of the water that forms here. To touch the mystical knowledge and feel the energy of the Universe, it is necessary to ascend at certain times and times of the year.

In 2008, the expedition of our gymnasium, while climbing the spur of Iremel, came to a statue cut out of a solid tree trunk. As tourists told us, it was sculpted and covered with bronze paint by Buddhist monks, who were amazed by the energy power of Iremel.

Legend of the sworn treasure on Mount Iremel.
It was as if fifty years ago a father and son went to get berries to Mount Iremel, about fifty years ago, they unharnessed the horses and began to pick berries. There were few berries. They were advised to climb the mountain, where there are more berries. Above, indeed, there were a lot of berries. They saw the path.
The son asked:
- What is this path?
Father says:
- Let's go along this path.

They climbed even higher and see - at the very top of a small lake. The stones are all as turned, there are inscriptions on the stones. Move on. They see - the cliff is huge, like a house. A bird sits on it and shakes its head. We came closer to the ridge - the bird fluttered, and then scattered with a clang and fell. Suddenly a white-haired boy in a red shirt and blue pants appeared at this place. Appeared and then disappeared. Father and son were looking for him, looking between the stones, but never found. Old people told about it. They believed that there was a sworn treasure on the mountain.

Legend "Haystack" (Boar-tash - Haystack).

The following legend is written about the rock: “Once upon a time there lived a very greedy man, a rich man Kara-bai, that is, Black Bai. He took for himself the already meager surrounding pastures and mows. The poor's livestock perished from lack of fodder, and Kara-bai swept all the hay into one huge haystack and sold it piece by piece at an unheard-of price. The people cursed him, the wise aksakals cursed him, and their curse turned the rich man's hay to stone.

At the base of this ancient rock there is a gallery-type cave of the same name - as if mice gnawed their passages in a haystack. But where exactly this cave is located is difficult to say, it is not easy to find it, and few people know about it, so you have a unique opportunity to test yourself as a discoverer.

"The Legend of the Miracle"

It was eh, it was not. Yes, only a songbird will bring the news, but a raven - the squeaky will wave its wing and the icy water will sparkle in the mountain river. Lower your gaze into it, and the Berendey legend will appear clear ...

Since ancient times, a wonderful people lived in the Iremel mountains. And there were no wars, no strife, and the Chuds were engaged in excellent skill. The secrets of the crafts were passed on from childhood. Moreover, they kept the faith, protected them from all sorts of devils.

They had prayer sketes with an altar, where the Chuds prayed before every good deed, and everything went well for them. And they prayed to one God and believed that He is in all life on Earth. A powerful spiritual force penetrated into them, helping in all matters. They could not do evil. Their thoughts were pure. And the light emanated from them along the Earth - Mother. But the more light, the longer the shadow.

Various tribes were drawn in caravans to the holy mountain Iremel. Everyone wanted to warm up in the precious light, and to learn what the chuds know. The news spread throughout the earth that this people possessed a secret knowledge of life. But not all people from the alien tribes were ready to accept this knowledge, but mostly out of envy or curiosity they made their way to Iremel. So evil sent its sons to find out the secret of existence from the Chudi and conquer them, making them * obedient slaves. And the ore riches attracted greedy people.

Chudi knew about an insidious plan. They didn’t want to multiply evil, therefore, not by clattering weapons, but by secret gathering, they prepared for the reflection.

Then they turned with prayer to the Almighty, and a sign came to the hoary elders through the Alatyr stone. He shone like never before and showed the way with his rays. And the elders led their people, tired of the raids. They walked along the Iremelsky ridge, until the last ray faded, and they saw the entrance to the mountain world. The cave lit up, and they went there. A silent stone closed the cave.

No one ever found out where this freedom-loving and kind people went. And the caves have not been explored to this day. The wind does not carry voices, but stones - holy scriptures. Miracles will come at the right time.

An ancient observatory and pyramids were discovered near the Iremel mountain not far from the Bakshay village.

- this is probably the most beautiful thing in Russia. One of these beauties is Mount Iremel, which ranks second in height on the peaks of the Southern Urals. Its height is 1582 meters. The mountain is located on the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which borders the Chelyabinsk region.

Iremel mountain range can be divided into several separate mountains, these are the Big and Small Iremel. Bolshoi is a plateau-like peak, also called Mount Kaban. This, of course, does not mean that the mountain looks like an animal, just a translation from the Bashkir language of the word boar - haystack. If you look closely, you can see that the mountain really resembles a haystack.

Both mountains are separated in the middle by a saddle, which is 1 kilometer wide. Also, the Big Mountain has several spurs that end in rocks: Zherebchik, which has a height of 1250 meters and Sinyak, which is 940 meters high. The mountain slopes are covered in huge boulders - kurumami, therefore, when moving along the slope, you need to be extremely careful so as not to harm yourself and those around you.

Also on Iremel You can find small depressions that are round in shape and have a diameter of 2-3 meters and a depth of 70 centimeters. These unusual grooves are called stone boilers... After the rain passes, clear water accumulates in them, which, by the way, can be used for drinking. It is on this mountain that it begins White river and the Urals. It is interesting that in hot summer, at the top you can see glaciers that do not melt, and this phenomenon is not found in every mountainous area.

When you climb to the top of the mountain, you can see vegetation, which changes several times during the entire period of the ascent. For example, the first thing you will see will be spruce, fir, birch. Second, this is a rare forest, then it begins real tundra with dwarf birches, northern berries, etc. Scientists are most interested in relict spruce forests that survived the Ice Age. So, when traveling around the country, do not forget to visit this unique place.

In the mining zone of the Chelyabinsk region there is a mysterious place - Mount Iremel. Everything in the area is covered with mysticism: at the foot of the mountain there used to be sketes of Old Believers, followers of esoteric culture hold trainings here, ufologists say that UFOs appear over the mountain quite often, and ethnographers collect legends about the ancient underground people of Chudi who lived in the vicinity.

Iremel has his own mysterious story. The very name of the mountain came from time immemorial: this is how the Turks who inhabited these lands, the ancestors of the modern Bashkirs, called it. Under the clouds flying so low that it’s worth reaching out and touching their whitish edge, in a thick fog tangled in your hair, in a scorching cold wind that is ready to pick you up and take you to the other side of the world in one deep breath.

The beauty of the mountains cannot be described in words.
You either fall in love at first sight
or you will remain indifferent forever.

Today the majestic and stunning Iremel awaits us! Everyone, for sure, has heard about Iremel sometime. Someone dreamed of being there, but exchanged the boundless space and the overwhelming power of the mountains for a soft, cozy sofa, and someone, fulfilling their dream, climbed onto this beautiful and powerful giant, absorbed the thousand-year wisdom of the most ancient mountains on our planet and felt the delightful harmony with the surrounding nature and your inner "I".

For centuries, and even now, Iremel and its environs were and remain something more significant than just mountains - this is a symbol of the Southern Urals, it contains all the power and spiritual strength of our land.

Climbing Iremel is a fantastic, unforgettable sensation - the ringing purity and freshness of the taiga air, and the boundless, boundless distance covered with coniferous forest. And the clouds above the peaks, floating with the speed of the wind, low, low ...

Someone has a mystical interest in Iremel, someone is religious, for someone he is an interesting object of nature. Everyone understands this due to their education and their attitude. At least, these mountains never leave anyone indifferent!

Majestic and formidable, and at the same time, similar to a humpbacked gray bear perched on dry dead wood, a little tired and wise, Iremel attracts and beckons with its antiquity and power. He is a miraculous, mighty monument to beauty, erected by nature itself.

Big Iremel is the second largest (1582 m) mountain in the Southern Urals after Big Yamantau, to which it is only 60 meters behind. It is located in the north-east of the Beloretsk region, at the very border of Bashkiria and the Chelyabinsk region.

Iremel - is a two-peaked massif, which includes the Big Iremel with the Kaban peak (1582.3 m) and the Small Iremel (1449.4 m).

The most popular mountain among tourists is Kaban. This oronim goes back to the Bashkir keben - "haystack", and, indeed, the top of the Big Iremel resembles a huge haystack, only made not of hay, but of a huge number of stones and boulders covered with green moss and sod.

Some are disappointed with this kind of "holy mountain" - in the view of many, any high mountain should have a pronounced peak, leaving no doubt about its superiority over others. But, probably, Saint Iremel bypasses such cheap effects, keeping his wisdom and strength deep in the depths of his powerful “I”.

There are many such "wild boars" on other ridges and mountains of the Southern Urals. In the north-west of Iremel, the Zherebchik spur departs, in the south-west - Mount Sinyak.

Legends of the sacred mountain

Iremel has a history steeped in riddles and secrets. At all times, Mount Iremel was considered sacred by the Bashkirs. Therefore, only shamans or especially respected people could climb to the top of Iremel, and then, not all, but only those whom the gods themselves would choose. The legends say that only mountain spirits could "invite" those who are worthy. Prayers and various rituals were held at the top. Gifts for the gods were made with expensive fabrics, skins of wild animals, the best pieces of game, honey. Iremel was revered as a great mountain for hundreds of kilometers around. Bashkirs, Tabynts, Kypsyaks, Tamyans and many other peoples praised Iremel.

According to the famous Beloretsk ethnographer Aleksey Dmitriev, noble Bashkirs were buried under Mount Iremel, on the shore of Lake Tygynskoye. Their bodies were brought even from distant lands.

It is worth noting that Russian settlers also revered Mount Iremel. From the stories of a local priest from Tyulyuk, father of Pyotr Nazarov, before, if there was a drought, the people gathered a procession and went to ask Iremel for rain.

Since then, everything has changed. Now anyone who wants to join the antiquity and power can climb to the top. And instead of gifts to the gods, people leave inscriptions on the stones, incomprehensible flags and garbage under their feet.

There is no unambiguous opinion about the origin of the name of the mountain - the beautiful and poetic "Iremel". It is often said that translated from Bashkir “Iremel” means “sacred mountain”, which, however, does not quite agree with the modern Bashkir language. Another interpretation, as "magic" or "enchanted" mountain - from the Bashkir-Tatar word "yrymly", which means "bewitched". There is an opinion that the word "Iremel" was inherited by the Bashkirs from the language of the "Chudi" people who once lived here. The locals themselves call the mountain a female name - Iremel, considering it the personification of the feminine principle on Earth.

Chud white-eyed

Ethnographers associate Iremel with the ancient people of "Chud" or "Divya people", according to legend, who lived in the vicinity of the mountains and lived in deep caves and secret underground cities. Usually, the Urals, Siberia and the Komi Republic are usually associated with the legends of the Peipus people, the White-eyed Chudi, who went underground, fleeing the dominance of their lands by non-Christian Christians.

Ethnographer A. Onuchkov briefly described what the Divya people looked like: “Divya people live in the Ural Mountains, they have access to the world through caves, in the Kaslyakh factory, they come out of the mountains and walk among people, but people do not see them. Their culture is the greatest and the light in their mountains is not worse than the sun. Divya people are small in stature, very beautiful and with a pleasant voice, but only a select few can hear them, they portend different events for people. "

Many stories about "Chudi" are circulating among hunters and tourists traveling in the Ural Mountains and witnessing mysterious and inexplicable phenomena.

Deep in the Ural mountains

By the way, the myth of the Chudi people, which keeps countless treasures from the eyes of strangers, may have a real basis, because gold was mined in the Urals!

According to legend, the word Ural has roots associated with gold and comes from the combination of the words "ur" - elevation and "al" - from the word "altyn" - gold.

The gold rush in Bashkiria began more than 250 years ago after the discovery of placer gold in the north of the Uchalinsky region along the river valleys: Iremel, Uy, Krasnokhta, Ural, Shartymka, Buida. This "golden belt" is over 300 km long. It is one of the centers of gold mining in Russia.

Alexander I himself, who came to the South Urals during the gold rush, did not disregard the majestic Iremel. According to legend, a road was cut for the king-father and lined with layers of green turf so that he could climb Iremel in a carriage.

Wayward and lovely

In the region of Iremel and adjacent ridges, more than 20 peaks have a height of over 1000 m. But Iremel is not only the highest, but probably the most picturesque of them. It dominates all the surrounding mountains, and in clear weather a stunning panorama of the vast Ural expanses opens up from it: endless coniferous forests and blue mountains with white tops of peaks and sharp teeth of rocky outcrops. On the one hand - the highest peak of the Southern Urals Yamantau and the Zigalga ridge, on the other hand - a view of the Nurgush and Avalyak ridges.

The entire territory adjacent to the Iremel peak (including the Avalyak ridge) has been declared a natural park. Since visiting the largest mountain in the Southern Urals, Big Yamantau, is officially prohibited, it is not surprising that most tourists tend to visit Iremel. Indeed, despite all the mysticism and mystery, Iremel, first of all, is a place of amazing beauty and at the same time quite capricious.

The weather here is changing rapidly - frequent fogs, completely covering the top with a thick impenetrable veil, and torrential rains, are instantly replaced by a piercing dazzling sun. Snow on the slopes of the mountain does not melt until mid-June (there is a known case when one snowdrift lasted 17 years).

On the way to the top, the traveler passes several high-altitude zones: mixed light forests with glades and kurumniks, century-old spruces and larch trees, then open woodlands and, finally, mountain tundra with a placer of northern berries: lingonberries, blueberries and blackberries.

Big Iremel is strewn with kurumnik - stone placers of large, angular, and very beautiful boulders covered with lichens and mosses. In sunny weather, these mosses and lichens give the stones an unusual, greenish tint, which makes the mountain completely fabulous and magical.

You do not need special physical preparation for the hike to Iremel, but keep in mind that you will have to walk 14 kilometers up the mountain. They say it is difficult to get lost there, but inexperienced tourists are better off going to Iremel with a guide.

Ufa resident Yuri Islamov climbs Mount Iremel several times over the summer. He accompanies those eager to test themselves and make a wish at the top. The Metro journalist joined one of the groups.
Mount Iremel is located on the border of Bashkiria and the Chelyabinsk region. From Ufa we drive to the village of Tyulyuk. We are 12 people: psychics, psychologists, energy therapists and ordinary citizens, lovers of energy places.

A wish list
We will go to Iremel tomorrow, and today, having set up tents near the village, we are heading to the Larkin gorge, to the waterfall. Our guide invites you to "take a bath" in ice water.
- Iremel in translation from the ancient Turkic means "a place that gives strength", the name of the village Tyulyuk - "Desire", - explains Yuri. - The gorge is located between them and is an intermediate stage, the water gives strength for a long hike.

In the evening, on the eve of climbing the sacred mountain, Yuri distributes two sheets of paper to everyone and asks them to write down their goals and desires - 45 points in total.
- You will leave one sheet on Iremel, and the second you will take with you and you will gradually follow how your wishes come true, - explains Yuri. - Iremel responds quickly to requests. But be careful with your wording. Once, one of the participants in the ascent thought of an apartment. When we were returning home, I found out that his beloved grandfather had died and left him a house ...

Our group started filling out the sheets. Someone's desires ended at the tenth point, others did not stop.
“I want to lose weight,” the already petite Karina says in an undertone. - So that the cubes appear on the stomach.
- Formulate carefully, - Lena energy therapist advises Karina. - After all, you can lose weight for various reasons. Better to write that you want to feel good and like yourself. It is advisable to avoid the "not" particle - it has a negative effect on the energy.

Men's stones
From the village of Tyuluk to the top of Iremel - 12 kilometers. Most of the path runs along the foothills - you need to climb a forest path. There are tree roots and huge stones underfoot. During the four hours of climbing, we survived several short showers and hail, the trail turned into a slippery mud.
We cross several mountain rivers. One of them - the widest - dried up several years ago, and huge white stones remind of its existence. These boulders are located in the middle of the path, and they usually stop here.
“It’s worth spending some time in this place and sitting on the stones,” says Yuri. - It is believed that a special sexual energy emanates from them, as if the stones work no worse than drugs to improve potency.
Men are in no hurry to get up from the stones, some take small cobblestones with them.

Changed fate
Four hours later we are at the top of Iremel - on a large plateau strewn with stones.
“For many years, only priests or heroes were allowed to climb the mountain,” says Yuri. - Even in our time, someone zealously protects the "holy mountain", does not allow you to climb - as if testing you for strength. Therefore, there are so many obstacles in the foothills - both stones and off-road. But then, when you get up, you feel like a hero. The Slavs represented Iriy as a heavenly island. When you stand on the top of Iremel today, you can imagine what the people who visited this place thousands of years ago experienced: the earth is under their feet, and there is only the sky around!
A few years ago, Yuri Islamov did not expect that his life would change. He worked on a rotational basis in oil and gas fields. I didn't like the job, but the salary was decent.

I delayed my dismissal, - says Yuri. - And once, while on vacation, I went to Arkaim - another place of power. Now I am a vegetarian, I do not drink alcohol, but then I was a different person. But nevertheless I made a plan to change my life. Returning home, he wrote a letter of resignation. I learned to be an astrologer and began to do what I liked. Arkaim accelerates the fulfillment of desires, and Mount Iremel gives strength to make them come true. Now I no longer wish for something concrete, but I ask for strength and energy so that I can continue to work further. Iremel has never failed. Every time I return, I feel like I’m reborn.

The vampire mountain unfolds halfway
All the leaves with wishes were hidden under the stones on the top of the mountain.
- Iremel is an ideal place for meditation, - psychic Vener shared with the Metro journalist. - I see that people with a pure aura are coming up here. As if Iremel filters travelers: people with negative energy, the so-called vampires, unfolds halfway. I know who and what thought. Naturally, most people think about health, family, career. But only those desires that are correctly and clearly formulated will be fulfilled.
We descended from the top of Iremel for three hours.
“Some time ago I made an ascent in Tibet, I walked for ten days,” says energy therapist Lena. - So, it was more difficult for me to climb Iremel in terms of sensations and energy costs. But despite the physical fatigue, upon returning, a surge of energy is felt. I want to jump and soar in the air for a while. Alena Bobrovich
