The transition exclusively to plant foods should be gradual, otherwise it will become a serious shock to the body, for a long period of time a person will be accompanied by unpleasant symptoms caused by refusal from the usual diet.

You should not become a vegetarian for the elderly, prone to anemia, patients with chronic diseases of the liver, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, as well as children, pregnant women and adolescents. The basic principles and approaches include the following points.

  1. Choosing the right time. It is best to switch to plant foods in the summer, when a full range of inexpensive vegetables and fruits is available to you;
