What is a "Lesson of Kindness"? Dates of the All-Russian pedagogical competition "Lessons of morality and kindness"

Preschool teachers and teachers of elementary, basic and secondary schools are invited to participate.

“Lessons of Kindness is not just an action about charity, it is an opportunity to tell our children that kindness towards other people is not a feat or a source of pride, but a natural process. Where, if not at school, do our children first encounter the concepts of “kindness” and “mercy”? Therefore, the task of adults is to tell and show by example what it means to be kind and merciful to those who need it.” — Oleg Novikov

The purer the soul of a person, the more he attracts people to himself. It is necessary to begin to form the sprouts of kindness, morality, responsiveness from childhood. At all times, good has opposed evil. Children get acquainted with this by listening to the first fairy tales read by their mother, educator, teacher, grandmother. In the family, kindergarten, school, there are constant conversations about how to behave. A simple conversation sometimes seems boring to boys and girls, but if it is arranged in the form of a game, quiz, dispute, colorful slides are added there, the effect will be different. Let's work together to make our world a better place. Portal Klassnye-chasy.ru announces the pedagogical competition "Lessons of morality and kindness", which accepts materials used in educational work to form positive qualities in children.

The Russian Textbook Corporation and the Konstantin Khabensky Charitable Foundation decided to support and scale this project, to generalize and systematize the teachers' experience of how to tell children about mercy and involve them in this process. The best scenarios and practices will be collected in a methodological collection that will help both in the work of teachers and in the activities of charitable foundations. "Russian textbook" promises to present the development by the end of the current academic year.

Most of all, we would like the "Lessons of Kindness" to evoke an active, informal response. - says Oleg Novikov, president of the Russian Textbook Corporation. – We want teachers and parents to receive information, practices and experience and be able to convey them to children, teach them to do good. The Konstantin Khabensky Foundation has unique experience and partnership will help create a lot of useful and necessary things. Creating methodological support in the field of charity is an urgent task.

Konstantin Khabensky is sure that “today we need to talk about good deeds. When working with children, it is important to show what will happen as a result of their efforts and fantasies. An undeceived child can work miracles. "Lessons of Kindness" are life lessons and only one thing will work here - the one who leads them must be sure of what he is doing, be indifferent. If something is done for the sake of "academic hour", the students will quickly forget about it ... We have just started to "inoculate" kindness and we want the children to start breathing the same air with us.

Alexander Brychkin, General Director of the Russian Textbook Corporation, said that the acceptance of works for the competition will continue until November 30, each participant will receive a special certificate, and a collection of 70-100 best scenarios of "Lessons of Kindness" will appear by the end of this academic year.

We at the Russian Textbook Corporation believe that the moral foundation is the main thing that determines the viability of society in the 21st century. By educating compassion in children, we are taking a step towards an indifferent society. Every year we communicate face-to-face at methodological events or through our Internet resources with almost all teachers in the country. We hope that teachers will respond to our call and we will be able to summarize the best experience and practices of conducting "Lessons of Kindness" so that everyone can apply them, - says the publisher.

Anna Sysoeva, Development Director of the Konstantin Khabensky Charitable Foundation, spoke about how children help the Foundation, and also addressed teachers: "We really love what we do, and we see real changes in the eyes of the guys when we talk with them about how they can help, and what can come of it.We see that the guys have a lot of opportunities and interest in helping others. Our task is only to speak honestly and openly with them about this.I want to appeal to the teachers: this it is incredibly difficult to talk about charity in such a way that it is interesting, but when it works, the result becomes a super result. Good luck and inspiration to everyone who decides to take part in this competition!".

“If you ask what charity is, everyone will answer differently ... Children can still be taught charity, which is an integral part of the developed society in which we live,” says Elena Nikolaeva, TV presenter of the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

Milana Adamyan, deputy director of Moscow School No. 547, who is one of the caring teachers who successfully do charity work with her students, is sure: “You can only talk about kindness with children by your own example. If you tell something, and the child sees an example completely different from you, it is unlikely to be inspired by the idea. You can and should work with children - the guys want to be useful. "

Details about the "Lessons of Kindness" competition and its stages can be found on the website of the "Russian Textbook" Corporation.
