Today, the global cloud-rap scene is finally formed and outlined, almost universally known and popular. To say that it continues to gain momentum is impossible, most likely because of the persistent associations with swag and trap, which have been gradually dying out for a long time (but still cannot die). Looking at the longer-term trends, this sub-genre of rap fits into the general musical trend that began after dubstep over the past three or four years to rethink the role of beat and rhythm. Rethinking the old one way or another gives birth to something new, and we will look forward to this new, hoping that it will not be based on some kind of web punk.
