Remembering Allah is everywhere. Remembrance of Allah. Is it necessary to say words of remembrance in Arabic?

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, peace and blessings of Allah be upon our prophet Muhammad, members of his family and all his companions!

The importance of the topic “Remembering Allah”

Truly, the topic “Remembering Allah Almighty and Great” is associated with the most important matters, the most honorable, the greatest, the most worthy of them, to whom you need to pay attention and show care.
And this, in turn, is associated with the “Remembrance of Allah Almighty”, remembrance of the Lord of Heaven and Earth, the Lord of all worlds, remembrance of the Creator of creation, the Creator of all people, remembrance of Allah, whose position is majestic, whose power is limitless, whose names are blessed, remembrance of:

الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Lord, Holy, Most Pure, Protecting, Guardian, Mighty, Mighty, Proud. Exalted is Allah and is far from what they associate as partners.

He is Allah, the Creator, the Creator, the Giver of Form. He has the most beautiful names. That which is in heaven and on earth glorifies Him. He is Mighty, Wise. (Surah al-Hashr, verses 23-24)

Truly, remembering Allah, Great and Exalted is He, is the best thing a person can do with his time, use his strength and spend the free hours of his life.
With the remembrance of Allah, He is Great and Exalted, the hearts of believers soften, their souls calm, their conviction and faith increase.
Remembering Allah is a sign of human happiness, the path to success in this world and in the eternal world.
Moreover, by remembering Allah, a person acquires all the good, happiness, peace, joy and relaxation, both in this life and in the afterlife.
Moreover, all Sharia regulations and commands were legitimized only in order to implement the remembrance of Allah. Allah Almighty legitimized prayer, fasting, Hajj, and other commands for His servants only so that they would remember Him.

And therefore it is reported in the hadith where one man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: “Which jihad has its greatest reward?” To which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, replied: “The one in which Allah Almighty is remembered most of all.” Then he asked: “Which fasting person is the best in his reward?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, replied: “The one who remembered Allah Most High.” Then the man asked in the same way about prayer, zakat, hajj, sadaqa (alms). To all these questions, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, answered: “The one in which Allah Almighty is remembered most of all.” After this, Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said to ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him: “O Abu Hafs! Those who remember Allah have taken away all the good things.” To which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Yes!” Reported by Ahmad 15614, at-Tabarani in ad-Du'a 1887. In this hadith there is a narrator named Ziban ibn Faid, due to which the hadith is weak. However, there is a Hadith Mursal Sahih confirming it, which is cited by Ibn al-Mubarak in his book “al-Zuhd” 1429.
Those who often remember Allah Almighty deserve great rewards, noble degrees and exalted places in Paradise.
The remembrance of Allah is what makes hearts come to life, find peace and strengthen their faith, and develop their minds. Also, remembering Allah is the reason that a person is awarded great rewards, all the blessings of this and that world, which no one except Allah Almighty can count.
And for this reason, the topic “Remembering Allah Almighty” is the most important, most worthy topic that is given Special attention and care.

Hadith: “Let your tongue never cease to be moist from the remembrance of Allah”

In one of the hadiths, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: See al-Musnad 17698, at-Tirmidhi 3375, ibn Majah 3793, al-Hakim 1/672. The authenticity of the hadith was confirmed by ‘Abdullah ibn Busr, may Allah be pleased with him. Shaykh al-Albani said in Sahih al-Jami' 7700: “Sahih.”
The reason for this hadith is that it was narrated by ‘Abdullah bin Busr that one of the men said: “O Messenger of Allah! There are too many Sharia regulations for me. Show me what I should hold fast to.” Another version of this hadith says: “The Sharia regulations are too many for us. Let us know about a source that would summarize all this and to which we would hold tightly.”
So he asked from the prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: “The Sharia regulations have become too much for me”, i.e. “became numerous for me. And for this reason I wish that you would point me to some source of good that summarizes all this and to which I would cling tightly.”
To this the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, replied: “Let your tongue never cease to be moist from the remembrance of Allah.”
This questioner wanted a generalized source for all good that he would hold tightly to. And the most truthful adviser, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, pointed out to him the remembrance of Allah, Great and Exalted is He.

Ponder, O reader, on what the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, pointed out to this man for whom the prescriptions of the Sharia became numerous, the number of which increased for him, and became varied. And he wanted some thing that would sum it all up, and he would hold fast to it. The work through which he would achieve happiness would receive the benefits of both worlds. And the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, pointed out to him the most abundant (in terms of reward) deed of deeds, the constant implementation of which is easy for a person and does not require much effort to complete them. The result of this work is great rewards, numerous benefits that cannot be achieved through anything else.

Remembering Allah is the easiest and most abundant (in terms of reward) deed

Scientists say: “Truly, if the remembrance of Allah becomes more frequent and greater, then it still remains the easiest and most abundant task, the implementation of which does not require much diligence. Because the movement of the tongue when remembering the Merciful is not difficult for a person and does not bother him. And the one who remembers Allah will not feel tired and tense. However, on the contrary, with the remembrance of Allah comes peace, rest and peace for the heart. And thus, the reasons leading to happiness are realized for a person.”
When the affairs of the tongue are combined with the affairs of the organs, for example, like prayer, going to the mosque, performing ablution, Hajj, fasting and other similar matters, then there may be some difficulties in these matters. And these difficulties can vary from person to person.
As for the remembrance of Allah, all people, both young and old, healthy and sick, both men and women, can do it without any difficulty. A person, moving his tongue, can glorify Allah, thank, remember, praise Him, and at the same time he will not feel any difficulty or fatigue. On the contrary, he will acquire many rewards and benefits, both in this life and in the eternal life, which no one can count except Allah Almighty.

And therefore the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Two words that are easy on the tongue.”
Pay attention to what the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, began with: “Two words that are easy on the tongue”, which indicates the ease, abundance and ease of the matter, and it will not bring any fatigue or difficulty to the one who performs it.
However, what did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) then say? “Heavy on the scales (by which the deeds of people will be weighed on the Day of Judgment), beloved of the Most Gracious”. See al-Bukhari 6406, 6682, 7564, Muslim 2694. This hadith is reported from Abu Hurayrah.
These two words « Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, Glory be to Allah the Great” (“Subhan-Llahi wa bi-hamdi-hi, Subhan-Llahi-l-‘Azym”) have great importance before Allah, they are light and beautiful, pleasant to perceive, but heavy on the scales, and loved by the Most Gracious, Most Pure and Exalted is He.
It was reported from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Whoever says: “Glorified is Allah and praise be to Him” (“Subhana-Llahi wa ba-hamdi-hi”) a hundred times, his sins will be forgiven, even if their amount is like the foam of the sea.” Ahmad 8873, at-Tirmidhi 3466, Ibn Majah 3812, at-Tirmidhi said: “Good authentic.”

The remembrance of Allah is easy for the tongue of one whom Allah has supported and helped with his assistance (at-tawfiq).
The one whom Allah has left without help, then the remembrance of Allah is painful and difficult for him, and he is not able to remember Allah. He finds it difficult and tiring, and may even develop restlessness, boredom and aversion to remembering Allah Almighty. All these are signs that Allah has left this person without help, and an indication that he is deprived of any good. And we take refuge in Allah from all this.

The remembrance of Allah is easy on the tongue, and therefore the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, pointed this out to the questioner, saying: “Let your tongue never cease to be moist from the remembrance of Allah, the Almighty and the Great.”
And the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, encouraged him to pay attention to the remembrance of Allah. And this is an indication of the importance of this matter, and the greatness of the place of this matter with Allah Almighty. The remembrance of Allah is the source that unites all blessings. Therefore, every Muslim should hold fast to this, persevere in doing this, and be among those who often remember Allah Almighty.
If we cite, along with this hadith, other similar hadiths, contexts from the Quran, encouraging a person to remember Allah, which mention the virtues of remembrance, the great rewards prepared by Allah for those who remember Him often, huge benefits, generous fruits, great blessings, both in this and the next world, what consequences the remembrance of Allah entails, then we will certainly find in these contexts many indications of the importance of this command, its high degree and great position with the Almighty Allah.

Praise for the book al-Wabil al-Sayyib (The Auspicious Rain)

U Sheikha ibn al-Qayim al-Jawziyya regarding this topic there is a unique message of its kind, the like of which no one has written, as far as I know. This is a great message that is shared among those who have knowledge and those who demand knowledge. The Sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, called him: "al-Uabil al-Sayyib fi al-Kalimi at-Tayyib", or "al-Wabil al-Sayib", i.e. "Auspicious Rain".

Sheikh says in this message: “Remembrance of Allah brings more than a hundred useful fruits» . Then he, may Allah have mercy on him, listed more than seventy benefits and fruits that the remembrance of Allah brings, both in this world and in the hereafter. Just one of these benefits and fruits of remembrance of Allah is enough to motivate hearts and invigorate souls to perform the highest obedience. What then can be said about if all these benefits and fruits come together (i.e., if a person, on the basis of all these seventy benefits and fruits, begins to strive for Allah Almighty)?! Therefore, that Muslim who began to read this book with calmness and reflection, wanting to gain good and benefit from it, begins to remember Allah Almighty more and more often, and his interest in this section of religion increases.
Sheikh ibn al-Qayim, may Allah have mercy on him, counted the benefits derived from the remembrance of Allah, objectively examined them, and thought for a long time about how to explain and clarify this to people. Then he collected all these benefits and divided them into chapters in accordance with the types of remembrance of Allah, which no Muslim can do without. Without having time to make a powerful push, so to speak, to the remembrance of Allah Almighty, new doors to different types remembrances of Allah, which are indicated by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

And for this reason, I believe that every Muslim should treat this book with care and attention. Let every father take care of purchasing this book and presenting it as a gift to his children, his family, relatives and friends. And let him encourage them to read this book. And let him who requires knowledge hasten to acquire it and extract as much benefit from it as possible. Also let it be distributed among Muslims because it contains great good and a large number of user
In this message (“Fauaidu dhikri-llah wa saamaratuhu”) I would like to briefly outline several benefits of remembering Allah Almighty, which Sheikh ibn al-Qayyim mentioned, may Allah have mercy on him, with some additions from me.

Benefits derived from remembrance of Allah:

Remembrance of Allah is a source of life for hearts, without which they will simply die.

From Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, it is reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “He who remembers his Lord and he who does not remember his Lord are like the living and the dead.”. Al-Bukhari 6407.
In another version of the hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A house in which Allah is remembered and a house in which Allah is not remembered are like the living and the dead.” See Muslim 779.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, likened one who remembers Allah to a living person, and a house who remembers the house of a living person. And the one who does not remember Allah Almighty, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, likened the dead, and his house - the dwelling of the dead, i.e. grave.
And therefore in the hadith from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, it is reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Don't turn your houses into graves!". See Muslim 780. That is remember Allah Almighty in your homes, perform prayers, read the words of Allah. Because a house in which the Quran is not read, Allah is not remembered, and prayer is not performed is like a grave, which is a haven for the dead.
And for this reason, in the hadith from Zayd bin Thabit, may Allah be pleased with him, it is reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, encouraged additional prayers at home : "Truly, best prayer is that which a person performs at home, with the exception of obligatory ones.” See al-Bukhari 731.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, encouraged people to do this so that their houses would not turn into graves, i.e. in houses in which Allah is not remembered, prayers are not performed, and Allah, Most Pure and Exalted, is not praised. Such houses are like graves, the dwellings of the dead.

But what can be said about a house in which no one is remembered except the Shaitan?! And nothing is said in it except music and the sounds of musical instruments?! And Allah Almighty is not remembered?!
This house is filled musical instruments, objects of wickedness, devices through which people listen to various types of lies and much more. Such a house is dead. Moreover, such a house is deprived of any benefit and destroyed. Let us take refuge in Allah from all this!
And no one visits this house except the devils. As for the angels, they do not enter such houses, which are a haven for the devils. And thus goodness leaves this house, evil increases in it, some problems constantly occur, misfortunes become more frequent, various types of wickedness are committed. We take refuge in Allah from all this.
Allah Almighty said:

To those who turn away from the remembrance of the Merciful, We will assign the devil, and he will become his companion.

They will not allow them to follow the path of Allah, and they will think that they are following the straight path. (Surah az-Zukhruf, verses 36-37)

And therefore, it is obligatory for believers to instruct themselves, as well as the rest of the inhabitants of their houses, so that they fill them with the remembrance of Allah, reciting the Quran, standing up for prayers, good deeds so that their houses turn into houses of the living, and to maintain the lives of the inhabitants of these houses .
Remembrance of Allah is, in fact, the source of life for hearts, without which hearts die.
Ibn al-Qayim, may Allah have mercy on him, cites from his teacher Sheikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, a wonderful example of the remembrance of Allah Almighty and the state of the heart of the remembrance. Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah , may Allah have mercy on him, says: “The remembrance of Allah is for the heart of a believer like water for a fish. What will be the situation of the fish if it is deprived of water? See al-Wabil al-Sayib, page 85.
It is known that if you take a fish out of the water little time, then she will die. Likewise, the heart, if it is distant from the remembrance of Allah and is not filled with it, then it will die, and life will not flow in it, and it will not be revived except through the remembrance of Allah.
That's why Allah Almighty said: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اسْتَجِيبُواْ لِلّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُم لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ

O you who believe! Answer Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to what will give you life. (Surah al-Anfal, verse 24)

Allah Almighty in many places of the Qur'an calls revelations (wahyy) spirit (ruh, i.e. that which gives life to hearts). For example, words of the Almighty: أَتَى أَمْرُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Allah's command will come, and don't try to rush it. Glorious is He and above what they associate as partners!

He sends down angels with spirit (revelation) according to His command to whomever He wishes from His servants: “Be warned that there is no deity worthy of worship besides Me. Fear Me." (Surah an-Nakhl, verses 1-2)

Also words of the Almighty: وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحاً مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِي مَا الْكِتَابُ وَلَا الْإِيمَانُ وَلَكِن جَعَلْنَاهُ نُوراً نَّهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ نَّشَاء مِنْ عِبَادِنَا

In the same way We have revealed to you the spirit (Quran) from Our commandment. You did not know what Scripture is and what faith is. But We made it a light through which We guide whoever of Our servants We wish to the straight path. (Surah ash-Shura, verse 52)

Also, Allah Almighty calls the spirit (ruh) the one who was sent down with revelation, and this is Jibril, peace be upon him.
Allah Almighty says:

The Faithful Spirit (Jibril) descended with him

on your heart so that you become one of those who warn

It was revealed in clear Arabic. Surah al-Shu'ara, verses 193-195)

Thus, Jibril, peace be upon him, who descended with revelations, is called spirit (ruh), and the revelations themselves are called spirit (ruh). Since the life of the hearts will not flow except through the revelation and remembrance of Allah Almighty, without which it will simply die, become hardened, begin to act unfairly, and be filled with evil and wickedness. Let us take refuge in Allah from all this!
And if revelations reach hearts and they are filled with the remembrance of Allah, the remembrance of the Almighty becomes more frequent in them, then goodness increases in these hearts, righteousness increases in them, goodness and blessing (baraka) spreads in them. And this is one of the great benefits derived from the remembrance of Allah Almighty.

The remembrance of Allah drives away the shaitan.

Those. the remembrance of Allah distances the shaitan from man. Remembering Allah Almighty, the believer is in an impregnable fortress and strong protection. And the shaitan finds no way to approach him.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Verily, Allah commanded Yahya ibn Zakariya, peace be upon him, five things, and that he should do actions in accordance with them, and that he commanded this to Bani Israel.” Another hadith reports that Zakaria said to his people: “Verily, my Lord commanded me to do five things, and that I command them to you.” Then he mentioned the first thing, which is confession of tawhid (monotheism) , then standing prayer , then give sadaqa (alms) , then named the fifth thing, and that's remembrance of Allah , and said, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: “And I order you to remember Allah Almighty often. Truly, one who remembers Allah is like a person who is being pursued by an enemy in his tracks (that is, chasing him in order to kill him or rob him). This person then finds a safe haven and takes refuge there. And truly, a servant who is in remembrance of his Lord is more protected from the wiles of the Shaitan than that person from his enemy.” See al-Musnad 17175, at-Tirmidhi 2863, al-Hakim 582, 203/1. Hadith from al-Harith al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him. The authenticity of the hadith was confirmed by Sheikh al-Albani in Sahihu al-Jami' 1724.
The one who often remembers Allah Almighty is in an impregnable fortress, strong protection, and the Shaitan will not approach him and will never reach him.
Allah Almighty says:

Say: “I seek refuge in the Lord of men,

King of people

God of people

from the evil of the tempter who disappears at the remembrance of Allah,

who whispers in the breasts of men,

from jinn and people. (Surah an-Nas, verse 1-6)

“the tempter of the disappearing (at the remembrance of Allah)” - this is a description of Satan.
Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, spoke regarding the words of Allah Almighty “the tempter of the one who disappears at the remembrance of Allah”: “Sh Aitan weighs on the hearts of the sons of Adam. If a person forgets about this and shows carelessness about it, then the shaitan begins to approach him and instill evil thoughts in him. If a person begins to remember Allah, then Shaitan moves away from him." At-Tabari in his Tafsir 24/754.
If a slave remembers his Lord properly, then the shaitan moves away from him, becomes insignificant like a fly, does not stay close to this person, but rather runs away from him. And this is why it is reported in the hadith from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “During the call to prayer, the shaitan turns around and begins to run away, loudly emitting gases.” Al-Bukhari 607, Muslim 379. Because he hates the remembrance of Allah. Moreover, it causes him torment, thereby driving him away from the believing slave. He is absolutely not present in places of remembrance of Allah Almighty.
As for the believer, he is in an impregnable fortress and in strong protection from the shaitan, if Allah wishes it.
If a person shows carelessness, then the devils are constantly next to him, pushing him to do things that do not bring any benefit and encouraging him to commit sins. How it was said Allah Almighty: وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَاناً فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ

To those who turn away from passing away of the Merciful, We will assign the devil, and he will become his comrade. (Surah az-Zukhruf, verse 36)

Those. will constantly be near such a person, without leaving him.

And from this verse the opposite is understood: If a person remembers Allah Almighty, then the shaitan moves away from him.
Remembrance of Allah is protection from the accursed shaitan. Therefore, one of the owners of knowledge did a great job, who called his book, which contains the remembrances of Allah Almighty, “The Impregnable Fortress”, or “The Fortress of the Muslim”, or something similar. And this name suits this book. Since remembrance of Allah is impregnable fortress, the fortress of a Muslim, the refuge in which a Muslim finds protection, with the permission of Allah Almighty. Shaitan does not find a way to the one who is in the remembrance of Allah, no matter what his situation. If you remember Allah Almighty while eating (i.e. say: “Bi-smi-llah”), then the shaitan moves away from you. If you remember Allah before entering the house, then the shaitan moves away from you. And so in all other matters in which you remember Allah Almighty, Satan will not find an approach to you. Thus, you will be protected from the instigations of the shaitan, from his intrigues, from his evil, from his instigations that lead to madness, from the arrogance to which he encourages, from empty, vicious verses and conversations.
This is what concerns one of the greatest and important benefits derived from the remembrance of Allah.

Remembrance of Allah is the cause of consolation of hearts.

Allah Almighty says:

(Surah ar-Ra'd, verse 27)

The consolation of the heart is its calmness, peace, joy, the departure of anxiety, tension, irritation and various troubles that may befall it. Those who frequently remember Allah Almighty have hearts that have found peace. Also their hearts are happy and overflowing with joy and peace in all states. And this is not only in prosperity and prosperity, but in all positions of the believer without exception. You can find him with a calm heart, both in difficulties and in prosperity, in misfortune and prosperity, in wealth and poverty, in times of health and illness, he is not overcome by anxiety and tension, and there is no irritation or any kind of irritation in him. anxiety. However, you find him calm, having acquired peace and relief in all his situations and affairs. Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan is reported to have said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “How amazing is the position of the believer! Verily, everything in his situation is good for him, and this is not given to anyone except the believer: if something pleases him, he thanks (Allah), and it becomes good for him, but if grief befalls him, he shows patience, and this (also) becomes a blessing for him.” Muslim, 2999.
The believer is constantly at peace, his heart is calm, unperturbed, his chest is open, overflowing with joy. The believer is rewarded with all this through the remembrance of Allah Almighty and continuous abiding in this, subsequently acquiring consolation: الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ أَلاَ بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

They believed and their hearts were comforted by the remembrance of Allah. Is it not by the remembrance of Allah that hearts are comforted? (Surah ar-Ra'd, verse 27)

Their hearts (i.e., believers) are consoled only by the remembrance of Allah Almighty. Indeed, they remember Allah in all their positions: الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَاماً وَقُعُوداً وَعَلَىَ جُنُوبِهِمْ

who remember Allah standing, sitting and on their sides. (Surah Ali ‘Imran, verse 191)

Those. in all their positions, being at home or on the road, sitting, standing or in motion, and in all their affairs remember Allah Almighty. In this way they achieve consolation of the heart:

أَلاَ بِذِكْرِ اللّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Is it not by the remembrance of Allah that hearts are comforted? (Surah ar-Ra'd, verse 27)

Remembering Allah melts a hardened heart

The heart hardens due to sins committed and omissions regarding submission to Allah, etc. And there is no thing like the remembrance of Allah Almighty that would melt the hardness of the heart. And there is nothing like carelessness in relation to the remembrance of Allah, due to which the heart begins to harden.

Has not the time come for the hearts of the believers to humble themselves at the mention of Allah and what has been revealed from the truth, and so that they do not become like those to whom the Scripture was given before, whose hearts became hardened after a long time and many of whom are wicked?(Surah al-Hadid, verse 16)

The reason for the hardness of the heart, as this verse indicates, is the absence of remembrance in it for a long time and distance from fulfilling the orders of Allah Almighty. If a believer does not remember his Lord for a long time, then callousness overtakes his heart. And it will not disappear until he again remembers Allah Almighty and returns to Him.
Allah Almighty says:

Know that Allah revives the earth after its death. We have already explained the signs to you, perhaps you will understand. (Surah al-Hadid, verse 17)

“revives the earth after its death” i.e. just as Allah Almighty revives the earth after its death with water and rain, He revives dead hearts through revelations and remembrance of Him. If a person remembers his Lord, then his heart comes to life and his callousness leaves.
It is reported that one man approached Imam al-Hasan al-Basriy, may Allah have mercy on him, and said: “Oh, Abu Sa'id! Am I complaining to you about the callousness of my heart?!” Then he replied: “Melt it with the remembrance of Allah.” See al-Wabil al-Sayyib, page 142.
Those. melt away the hardness that is in your heart through the remembrance of Allah. Since the remembrance of the Almighty eliminates the callousness that can take possession of the heart, softens the heart, calms it and consoles it, as was said earlier.

Whoever remembers Allah, Allah remembers him

Also, one of the benefits derived from the remembrance of Allah, which brings great benefit to the servant of Allah, great fruits and high position, is that when a believer remembers Allah, then Allah remembers him. Because reward is like a perfect deed.
Allah Almighty says:

Is there any reward for good other than good? (Surah ar-Rahman, verse 60)

Whoever remembers Allah, Allah remembers him. Whoever forgets Allah, Allah has forgotten him.

Allah Almighty says:

They have forgotten Allah, and He has forgotten them. (Surah at-Tawbah, verse 67)

Also The Almighty says: جَزَاء وِفَاقاً

Also Allah Almighty says:ثُمَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاؤُوا السُّوأَى

The end of those who did evil was evil. (Surah ar-Rum, verse 10)

So, reward is like a perfect deed. Whoever remembers Allah, Allah remembers him.
Allah Almighty says:

Remember Me and I will remember you. (Surah al-Baqarah, verse 152)

It is reported from Abu Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, conveying the words of the Almighty said: “If My servant remembers Me to himself, I will remember him to myself. If he remembers Me in company, I will remember him in company which is better than his company.” See al-Bukhari 7405, Muslim 2675.
What reward, what reward could be better than this?! What position of a slave before his Lord could be higher than this?! By remembering Allah, you are rewarded with the fact that Allah remembers you in the highest society(i.e. angels). He remembers you, and yet He does not need you. And you remember Him, being in need of Him, feeling the need for His mercy.
He remembers you in the highest society. At the same time, He does not take advantage of your remembrance of Him. Your remembrance of Him will not add anything to His possessions, and your forgetting of Him will not subtract anything from His possessions. And therefore Allah Almighty said in the hadith of al-Qudsi, which was transmitted from Abu Hureyra, may Allah be pleased with him: See Muslim 2577.
Allah Almighty does not benefit from the submission of those who obey, and does not harm the disobedience of sinners, and the remembrance of those who remember does not add anything to His possession, and the carelessness of those who fall into it does not subtract anything from His possession. However, this is mercy and kindness towards His servants. He commemorates in the highest society the one who commemorates him in public. Whoever remembers Allah to himself, Allah remembers him to Himself. Whoever remembers Him in society, Allah remembers him in a society that is better than his society.
It is reported that Mu'awya, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “One day the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came out to a group of his companions and said to them: “What prompted you to gather here?” They replied: “We are sitting here to remember Allah and praise Him for leading us to Islam and giving it to us.” The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “Do you swear by Allah that you are sitting here for no other reason than this?” they said: “We swear by Allah! This is what motivated us." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “I asked you to swear not because I doubt you. However, Jibril appeared to me and said that Allah, Almighty and Great, boasts of you before the angels.” See Muslim 2701.
Those. Allah Almighty boasts of those who remember Him before the angels, saying: “Look at My servants! They gathered to remember Me. They gathered to give thanks to Me. They have gathered to praise Me."
And therefore in another hadith, which was transmitted from Abu Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, it is reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “In whatever house of the houses of Allah people gather to read the Book of Allah and teach it among themselves, except that peace descends on them and covers them with mercy, and angels surround them, and Allah remembers them among those who are before Him.” See Muslim 2699.
Allah's remembrance of His servant is the high position, the exalted degree that one who frequently remembers Allah acquires.
Since the attachment of souls to this worldly life is greater, and the desire for it is great. Truly, if it is said to one person: “If you perform such and such an action, or perform such and such a deed, then such and such a ruler will mention you in such and such a way, or such and such a ruler will mention you in such and such a way, and it will be praise you in front of noble people,” then you will find him cheerful and lively. However, as for the remembrance of Allah, through which we are rewarded with the remembrance of Allah for us, in this we admit weakness and do not show any activity. And this is one of our omissions, negligence, weakness, negligence and we do not show due attention and care in relation to this matter. (Surah al-Ahzab, verses 41-43)

As for the blessing of Allah, it is the praise of Allah among the Supreme Host, as discussed earlier.
As for the blessing of the angels, this is their prayer for the forgiveness of this slave. Every time a slave increases his iman (faith), and remembers Allah Almighty more and more often, and follows goodness more and more, the prayers of the angels thereby increase.

Those who carry the Throne, and those around it, glorify their Lord with praise, believe in Him and ask for forgiveness for the believers: “Our Lord! Thou hast embraced every thing with mercy and knowledge. Forgive those who repented and followed Your path, and protect them from torment in Hell.

Our Lord! Bring them into the gardens of Eden, which You promised them, and also the righteous from among their fathers, spouses and descendants. Verily, You are the Mighty, the Wise.

Protect them from sins, because only the one whom You protect from sins on that day will have mercy on You. This is great success." (Sura Ghafir, verses 7-9)

This is a long, great and blessed prayer of the angels for the believing servants of Allah, who often remember Him, obey Him and carry out orders, being obedient in this.
And here the question may arise: “What prompted these angels to show compassion towards believers and to be in such a position (continuously pronounce a prayer for the believer), despite the fact that the race of angels is different from the human race!?” The genus of angels is completely different. They are created from light, and man is created from earth. Their kinds are different. And despite this, Allah Almighty mentioned angels along with believers.
The reason for this is the strong, lasting connection between the angels and the believers, and this is faith in Allah.
Allah Almighty says:

Those who carry the Throne, and those around it, glorify their Lord with praise, believe in Him. (Surah Ghafir, verse 7)

This is the connection: glorifying the praises of Allah and believing in Him.
And every time a believer remembers Allah more and more often, praises Him, and strengthens his faith, the prayers of the angels for him increase, their asking for Allah’s forgiveness, taufiqa (Allah’s assistance), happiness, Paradise and salvation from Fire, and the rest, which was mentioned in the noble verse.

Remembrance of Allah protects against sins committed by the tongue.

Scientists say: “Truly, language was created only to speak through it. If a Muslim does not say good things, and the best thing that can be is the remembrance of Allah, then he is talking about bad, vicious things. Therefore, one whose tongue is dry in relation to the remembrance of Allah, plunges into all types of depravity committed by the tongue: slander, slander, mockery, ridicule, lying, speaking obscenities, etc. We take refuge in Allah from all this. If the tongue is dry regarding the remembrance of Allah, then it tends to lie. If the tongue is busy remembering Allah, then it moves away from uttering lies. Therefore, nothing protects and protects the tongue from everything vicious like the remembrance of Allah. The remembrance of Allah protects a person’s tongue and protects him from slander, slander, mockery, ridicule, etc.”
This is the great benefit that a person derives from the remembrance of Allah Almighty.

Remembrance of Allah is a sign of the remembrancer’s love for Allah Almighty.

Some scholars have said: “A sign of love for Allah is frequent remembrance of Him. Because a person likes to often mention what he loves.”

Conclusion

We have mentioned in this message only some of the benefits that a believer derives from remembering Allah Almighty.
When you read the book “al-Wabil al-Sayyib” (“The Favorable Rain”), you will find that I have significantly shortened it and mentioned only a small number of the many, great, and varied benefits of remembering Allah. And how beautifully the outstanding scientist Ibn al-Qayim, may Allah have mercy on him, expounded them in detail and perfectly explained them.
And so let’s return to what we talked about at the beginning of this work. I call for the acquisition of this book (“al-Wabil al-Sayib”), its distribution, and encouraging children, wives, daughters, relatives and friends to read it. All this so that they achieve great benefit, great reward, protection and safety, and many other benefits derived from the remembrance of Allah Almighty, which we briefly mentioned.

I ask Allah Almighty to make us among those who remember Him often, whose hearts are comforted through His noble revelations and in whose hearts life always reigns. And may Allah protect us from our hearts becoming hardened due to our negligence in remembering the Almighty. I ask Him alone to strengthen in the truth those who duly seek Him, and to bring out of the darkness of ignorance, wickedness and depravity those who have deviated from the path that leads straight to Him.

And in conclusion, praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!

Theologians believe that it is better to remember the Almighty by pronouncing the word “Allah”, for this is His greatest name, which has absorbed the virtues of the meanings and sifats of all other names. They claim that the Almighty said: “You remember Me by saying Allah.” Many say that this is said about remembrance with the pronunciation “La ilaha illa Allah”, it also contains the name “Allah”.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The most valuable and worthy thing that I and the Prophets who preceded me said was the phrase: “La ilaha illa Allah.” “There are no veils between the slave, after pronouncing “La ilaha illa Allah” and the Almighty,” said the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Almighty said that the phrase “La ilaha illa Allah” is His courtyard, and whoever enters it will be protected from His punishment.

“Whoever says “La ilaha illa Allah” seventy thousand times will be saved from the fire of Hell,” said the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). It is said that this phrase has so many hidden wisdoms, miracles and abilities. One of them is the purification of hearts. This type of dhikr is like an abrasive that removes rust and dirt, and other remembrances are like soap.

One of the hidden wisdoms of this dhikr is that all its letters are pronounced from the inside of a person (which means it is pronounced from the soul, from the heart in accordance with the tongue). That this formula is of great importance for Him, the Almighty said to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) (meaning): “Truly there is no deity but Allah.” But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that there is no other deity except Allah alone, which means that the meaning of what was said boils down to the following: “You, Muhammad, stick to what you know, and do not stray from it.”

The Ulama on Tawhid (Monotheism) thoroughly convey that the meaning of the phrase “La ilaha illa Allah”, with a small number of letters, combines everything that is characteristic of the Almighty, reaching the point that it can be given and not given to Him. Pronouncing it together with “Muhammadun rasullulah” contributes to the knowledge of Islam in the heart of a slave.

Sharia does not accept Islam for any person except by pronouncing the Shahadat formula, which includes both of these phrases. That's why to a reasonable person It is better to pronounce it more, while keeping Allah in your heart. Then he will see the countless secret miracles of these words (inshaAllah).

The advantages of the formula “La ilaha illa Allah” are listed in the Koran and hadiths. One of them: “If someone who at least once in his life says with all his heart “La ilaha illa Allah Muhammadun Rasulullah” and dies in this statement is not an atheist, he will enter Paradise.”

Reward for dhikr

Conditions for receiving greater reward for pronouncing “La ilaha illa Allah”:

1. Saying after “La ilaha illya Allah” “Muhammadun rasulullah”. Prophet Khizri (peace be upon him) taught this to Abdulkhalik Guzhduvani (may Allah be pleased with him). Khizri (peace be upon him) from Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) translated as follows: “Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) never said “La ilaha illa Allah” without the subsequent “Muhammadun rasulullah.”

But some people do not say “Muhammadun rasulullah” after “La ilaha illa Allah.” Others stop at even number their dhikr and pronounce it. Still others say it at the end of their dhikr. All three options are valid. Even if you don’t say it out loud, it is very advisable to keep it in your mind. According to the teachings of Gujduvani (may Allah be pleased with him), the one who pronounces “La ilaha illa Allah” with his tongue or heart must be renounced from everything except Allah. We must try to think about Allah all the time, to have a huzur. If this is impossible, you still cannot stop remembering the Almighty. A person who is in oblivion, with repeated remembrance of the Almighty, by His will, can achieve the degree of huzur.

2. The least for a huzur is to have a constant thought that he is in the remembrance of Allah. His perfection lies in submission to Allah, self-abasement, expansion of the heart for the remembrance of Allah, distraction from everything except Allah and constant awareness of the meaning of what he says.

3. The phrase “La ilaha illa Allah” must be pronounced as it is, without adding letters.

There is no reward from saying this phrase with modifications. You cannot pause between “la ilaha” and “illa Allah.” Also, you cannot stretch the first letter “m” of “Muhammad” or stretch the “x”. The same requirements apply to takbir in holidays"Allahu Akbar valillahil hamd."

Formation of a circle (halqa) during dhikr

The formation of a circle when people gather to remember Allah is accepted by Shariah, the dignity of which is given in the hadiths. At the time when the caliphate was ruled by Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companions, after performing the afternoon prayer, gathered together in a circle to remember Allah out loud. If some of them said dhikr quietly, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would send a person to them so that they would raise their voices. The hadith says: “Those who gathered for dhikr, not wanting anything other than the face of Allah, are informed by a voice from heaven: “You will become sinless from this Majlis. I turned your bad deeds into good ones.” Another hadith says: “In search of those who have gathered to remember Allah, angels walk around the earth, and when they find them, they sit in circle after circle of people and pray to the Almighty for the forgiveness of their sins.” During dhikr, it is desirable that there is one leader so that it sounds in unison; it is also necessary to have someone who finishes it (aloud), be it the one who started it or another.

Among various types Worship in Islam stands apart from the practice of dhikr. IN Holy Quran The Creator tells us:

“Remember Me and I will remember you” (2:152)

Remembrance serves as a strong rope that binds a person to his Lord. Hence, Muslims should regularly remember the Lord of the worlds, since for each dhikr a believer is able to receive a generous reward from the Creator, as well as His protection.

A believer can praise his Creator at any time of the day or night, since one of the hadiths says that “The Messenger (s.g.w.) remembered Allah at any time” (Bukhari, Muslim).

There are many ways to remember the Almighty - from pronouncing certain phrases to. We will dwell in more detail on the most common of them:

1. Pronunciation of the words of tasbih “SubhanAllah”, “Alhamdulillah” and “Allahu Akbar”

The Grace of the Worlds Muhammad (s.w.w.) once addressed his companions: “Shall I point out to you an act by which... you will become better than those among whom you are, if they do not do the same? Say 33 times after each prayer: “SubhanAllah! (Glory be to Allah!)”, “Alhamdulillah! (Praise be to Allah!)” and “Allahu Akbar! (Allah is Great)” (hadith from al-Bukhari).

2. Pronunciation of the words “SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi!”(“Immaculate / Most pure / Allah and praise be to Him!”)

This is indicated in the following hadith: “Whoever repeats these words a hundred times in the morning and in the evening, then on the Day of Judgment no one will be able to come with a better deed except those who have done the same or more” (reported by Muslim).

3. Pronunciation of the phrase “Radytu billyahi Rabban wa bil-isli dinan wa bi Muhammadin rasulyan”(“We are pleased with Allah as Lord, Islam as a religion, and Muhammad (s.g.w.) as a messenger”)

According to the hadith reported by Abu Dawud, the one who says these words morning and evening , according to the Messenger of Allah (s.w.), the Almighty will make him pleased on the Day of Judgment.”

4. Remembering the Merciful when leaving home

“If, when leaving home, a person utters the words “Bismillahi tawakaltu ala Allah la hawla wa la kauata ila billahi” (“In the name of Allah, I rely on Him, there is no power except with Allah”), then the angels begin to say, turning to him: “Allah is sufficient for you, you are protected, and the shaitan has withdrawn from you” (hadith from at-Tirmidhi).

5. Remembrance at the table after finishing a meal

The mercy of the worlds Muhammad (s.g.w.) informed his ummah: “Whoever says: “Alhamdulillahil-lyazii, at’amani hazat ta’ama wa razakanihi min gairi howlin mini wa la quwwatin” (“Praise be to the Almighty, who fed me food and endowed me with this, without my strength”), his past and future sins will be forgiven” (hadith cited by Abu Dawud).

6. Remembrance when entering and leaving the mosque

“When one of you enters the mosque, let him make a supplication for the Prophet, and then say: “Allahumma-ftah li abuaba rahmatika” (O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me!) When he leaves the mosque, let him make a prayer for the Prophet and distort it: “Allahumma’-simni min ash-shaitan” (O Allah, protect me from shaitan!)"(hadith from Nasai and Ibn Majah).

Virtues of remembering the Almighty

- Allah is with those who remember Him. There is an indication of this in a hadith from al-Bukhari, who narrates , that Allah always accompanies a person when he remembers his Lord.

- Remembering the Lord is like life. The Prophet Muhammad (s.w.w.) instructed: “The one who remembers his Creator and the one who does not do so are like the living and the dead” (al-Bukhari).

- There are angels next to those who remember. In the hadiths the following statement is found by the Final Messenger of God (s.g.w.): “Allah has angels who roam the roads in search of those who remember Allah with love” (al-Bukhari).

- Those who remember Allah will occupy a high place on the Day of Judgmentb. Once Muhammad (s.g.w.) was asked who would occupy the highest position on the Day of Retribution. To which the Prophet (s.a.w.) replied: “Men and women who regularly remember their Creator” (hadith from at-Tirmidhi and Ahmad).

- Remembrance serves as protection from hellish torment. One of the hadiths emphasizes: « There is nothing more effective that will save you from the torment of the Almighty than His remembrance” (at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad and Hakim).

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in a hadith-qudsi: “Allah Almighty said: “I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me, and if he remembers Me in company, then I will remember him in better company.”(Bukhari, 6970; Muslim, 2675).

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Shall I inform you of the best of your deeds, the purest and the one that increases your reward with your Master and the one that increases your degrees the most, which is better for you than spending gold and silver?”. And he mentioned other great things. The people said: “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “This is a remembrance of Allah Almighty”(Tirmidhi, 3377).

When a person loves something, he often remembers it, and the more we love and exalt Allah, the more our hearts and tongues remember Him. Allah Almighty said: “O you who believe! Remember Allah many times and praise Him in the morning and before sunset."(33:41–42). Remembering Allah is one of the greatest expressions of gratitude for His mercies: “Remember Me, and I will remember you. Thank Me and do not be ungrateful." (2:152).

Remembering Allah is pronouncing words of remembrance with the tongue and at the same time realizing His greatness, loving Him and hoping for His mercy in the heart. And the reward for remembering corresponds to the extent to which the heart is filled with these beautiful concepts. It brings life to the heart and helps to feel spaciousness in the chest. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) clarified this by saying: “He who remembers his Lord and he who does not remember his Lord are like the living and the dead.”(Bukhari, 6044). Life of the heart and purity of the soul are ensured by constant remembrance of Allah and turning to Him with prayers.

Among the manifestations of Allah's mercy towards His servants is the fact that He gave them moments life bringers heart. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught us words of remembrance that can be said at any time. Some of them are prescribed to be recited in certain circumstances, and others are repeated daily, so that the heart of a Muslim always remains connected with Allah and far from the careless who follow their passions and whom the Almighty described in these words: “And do not obey those whose hearts We have made careless Our remembrance is of those who indulge their desires and whose deeds are in vain” (18:28).

Our remembrance of Allah with our hearts and tongues corresponds to our love for Him and exaltation of Him.

Place of remembrance

You can remember Allah in any place and position. Allah Almighty praised the believers by saying: “Who remember Allah standing, sitting and on their sides”(3:191). The exception is the time a person spends in a latrine.

And the Almighty praised the believers who remember Allah in the mosque in the mornings and evenings: “In the houses that Allah has allowed to be erected, His name is remembered. He is glorified in them in the morning and before sunset by men whom neither trade nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allah” (24:36-37).

Is it necessary to say words of remembrance in Arabic?

The main purpose of remembrance is to remember the Almighty with the heart, to fear Him and exalt Him while simultaneously pronouncing phrases confirming this remembrance with the heart. And they can be pronounced in any language in the world. After all the main objective- uniting the heart with the tongue

However, some words of remembrance are pronounced only in Arabic. These are Quranic verses. The Koran is read only in Arabic, although translations of its meanings into Arabic are used to understand it. different languages. This can also include brief formulas of remembrance that are repeated in prayer and other types of worship. A Muslim must learn them in Arabic, but know their meaning. This is for example the words “There is no god but Allah” (La ilaha illallah), “Allah is Most Pure” (Subhanallah) and "Allah is Great" (Allahu Akbar).

In other cases, a Muslim can remember Allah in those words that are closest to his heart, and it does not matter what language he speaks.

“Remember Me and I will remember you, and give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful.”

People spend their time in worldly life, immersed in the pursuit of its benefits. Such people do not find peace. Every person urgently needs to direct his heart to the Almighty. Remembering Allah is the path of happiness, salvation, success. But man is always in oblivion.

One of the poets said: “They did not name a person (insan) except because of forgetfulness (nisyan) and the first to forget is the first of people.” He points out that the word "insan", which means "person", is taken from the word "nisyan" (forgetfulness). The Almighty also points to this in the Koran:

ولقد عهدنا إلى آدم من قبل فنسي ولم نجد له عزم ا

(Meaning): “Before We made a covenant with Adam (we told him not to eat fruit from the tree), but he forgot (broke the covenant), and We did not find in him a strong will (decisiveness, patience, from which We protected him).”(Surah Taha, verse 115).

The Hadith of the Prophet (PBUH) says: “Adam forgot and his descendants forgot, and Adam made a mistake and his descendants made a mistake.”(at-Tirmidhi, no. 3002).

We know about remembrance from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and this is the path of the Salaf of the Saliheen, in which they were diligent. In this there is rest for the nafs, an incentive to do good and distance from what is blameworthy. Safety from the bad, receiving radiance in the heart.

The Koran says about remembrance:

فاذكروني أذكركم واشكروا لي ولا تكفرون

(Meaning): “Remember Me (by performing prayer, tasbiha) and I will remember you (I will reward you). A hadith from Allah says: “Whoever remembers Me to himself, I will remember him to himself; whoever remembers Me among people, I will remember him among the best creations” (Ahmad, No. 8296). Give thanks to Me (for My benefits by worship) and do not be ungrateful to Me (by committing sins).”(Surah al-Baqarah, verse 152, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

(Meaning): “For men and women who remember Allah, Allah has prepared forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward (for worship).”(Surah al-Ahzab, verse 35, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

(Meaning): “O you who believe! When you encounter a detachment (a group of infidels), be persistent and remember Allah repeatedly (pray to Allah for help). Perhaps you will succeed (win)"(Surah al-Anfal, verse 45, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

(Meaning): “Truly, prayer protects from abomination and reprehensible (as long as a person performs prayer). But remembrance of Allah is much more important (than other worship), and Allah knows what you do (will reward you with it).”(Surah al-Ankubat, verse 45, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

Imam al-Ghazali (may Allah be pleased with him) points out that prayer restrains a person from evil when it is performed sincerely with ihsan as if we see Allah, although we do not see Him, but He sees us (Fathul-Allaam ).

These verses encourage us to remember Allah always and everywhere. The beginning of worship is remembrance, its preciousness is remembrance, its end is remembrance. Allah mentioned in the Qur'an:

وذكر اسم ربه فصلى

(Meaning): “He remembered the name of his Lord (with the words “Allahu Akbar”) and performed namaz (five times namaz is from the deeds of akhirat, the kafirs of Mecca renounced this)”(Surah al-Ala, verse 15, tafsir al-Jalalayni).

The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Truly, people’s speech is not allowed in prayer, prayer is tasbih, takbir, reading the Koran” (Muslim, No. 836).

About fasting Allah said:

ولتكملوا العدة ولتكبروا الله على ما هداكم ولعلكم تشكرون

(Meaning): “He wants you to complete (the number of days of fasting in the month of Ramadan) and glorify Allah for guiding you to the straight path. Perhaps you will be grateful"(Surah al-Baqarah, verse 185, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

About the Hajj it is said:

فإذا أفضتم من عرفات فاذكروا الله عند المشعر الحرام واذكروه كما هداكم وإن كنتم من قبله لمن الضالين

(Meaning): “And when you return from Arafat (after standing), remember Allah (after spending the night in Muzdalifa by reading Lyabaik, Lailaha illa Allah, prayers) in the Sacred Place (this is the mountain at the end of Muzdalifa, it is called “Kuzaha” and in The hadith says: "The Prophet (PBUH) stood on this mountain and made dua until it was completely dawn" (Muslim, No. 2137). Remember Him (signs of religion, rituals of Hajj). He guided you on the straight path, after all, before you were lost” (Surah al-Baqarah, verse 198, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

(Meaning): “Remember Allah (with takbir when throwing stones) in a matter of days (within three days in the Mina Valley)"(Surah al-Baqarah, verse 203, tafsir al-Jalalaini).

From the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), we know how much he remembered Allah, and we should follow him by saying “Bismillah” before eating and “Alhamdullilah” after eating. When meeting, saying “Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah.” The person praying says the same thing at the end of the prayer. When we leave the house - “Bismillah tawwaqaltu al-Llahi walya hawla walya kuvvata illya billah.” When entering the mosque - “Allahummaftahli abvaba rahmatik”, when leaving - “Allahummaftahli abvaba fazlik”. Scientists have collected adhkars in one book, read in the morning and in the evening. For example, Imam an-Nawawi in the book “al-Azkar”, al-Shavkani in the book “Tufhat az-Zakirin”. Other scientists did the same.

When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was asked: “Who has the most high degree before Allah on the Day of Judgment?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: “He who remembers Allah a lot” (at-Tirmidhi).

Another hadith says: “Remember Allah so often until people say you are crazy.”(Hakim).

One should strive to remember Allah every day, morning and evening, as much as possible. After all, when we remember Allah, Allah remembers us. May Allah give us the strength to take a place in the list of those whom Allah remembers! Amine.
