  • "Riddle": the variety was bred in Ukraine. Differs in a high content of menthol, the indicator of which is slightly below 65%;
  • Medicka: in this variety, the menthol content reaches 67%. This type of mint tolerates winter much better than previous varieties.

Appearance

The plant's rhizome is horizontal, fibrous, from which several shoots appear in the spring. Stems are straight, tetrahedral and covered with short dark purple hairs. Then it is infused for a day. Then sugar is added to the strained infusion at the rate of: kilogram per 1 liter. After boiling for 10 minutes, the mint honey is ready.
