HOLIDAY PROCESS

The song “Get up, the Country is huge!”

That's 41 years old

And people went to sleep peacefully

But in the morning the whole country knew

That a terrible war had begun.

On May 9, 2016, the Victory salute will thunder for the 71st time. And the immeasurable suffering of the war years and the immeasurable courage of the people are still alive in the memory of the people. Day May 9, 1945 knows the whole world. Our country has been going to this day for 4 years. But what years...

Forty-first! June
Year and month of nationwide struggle.
Even the dust of time
This date cannot be delayed.
The country was rising
And she went to the front as a porter.
red stars
Carrying away banners on the canvases.

Forty second! To Leningrad
Girth on three sides
Hitler was marching with forty divisions.
Bombed. He brought the artillery closer,
But did not shake a single micron,
Didn't stop for a moment
He is the heartbeat of Leningrad.
And seeing this, the enraged enemy,
Assuming the city to take from the raid,
Seemingly proven strategists
He called for help: Frost and Gloom.
And they came ready to win
And the third, Hunger, followed them.

Forty third!
In the damp steppe under the dig,
Where we broke the lines
Where were the long trenches.
Ditches, barriers, dugouts.
There at the deserted crossroads, so that the country will remember them,
On the stars, on plywood boards
We wrote names.

Forty-fourth!
Another war, but we stubbornly believe
What will be the day, we will drink the pain to the bottom
The wide world will open the doors for us again,
Silence will rise with the new dawn.

Forty-fifth!
There was still darkness,
The grass wept in the mist.
Pressed day of big May
Already came into his own.
All over the grass from end to end
There is no such city, no village,
Wherever Victory comes in May
Great ninth.
Someone sang and someone cried
And someone slept in the damp earth ...

The war went on for 4 years - that's 1418 days and nights! 34 thousand hours and 20 million dead people! 20 million, just imagine - if a minute of silence is announced for each of the 20 million in the country, the country will be silent ... 32 years!

Quiet, guys, a moment of silence Christina
Let's honor the memory of heroes
And their voices once sounded
In the morning they met the sun,
Our peers are almost.
Let's remember through the centuries, through the years,
About those who will never come again.
Let's remember!

A moment of silence.

Against the background of the song "Zemlyanka" a poem by K. Simonov (3 good readers) "Wait for me" sounds.

Wait for me and I'll be back, Diana
Just wait a lot
Wait for sadness
yellow rain,
Wait for the snow to come
Wait when it's hot
Wait when others are not expected
Forgetting yesterday.
Wait when from distant places
Letters will not come
Wait until you get bored
To all who are waiting together.

Wait for me and I will come back. Veronica
Don't be sorry for the good
To everyone who knows by heart
It's time to forget.
Let the son and mother believe
That there is no me
Let friends get tired of waiting.
They sit by the fire
Drink bitter wine
In memory of the soul ...
Wait. And along with him
Don't rush to drink.

Wait for me and I'll be back Victor
All deaths out of spite.
Who did not wait for me, let him
He will say: - Lucky! -
Do not understand those who did not expect them
Like in the middle of a fire
Waiting for your
You saved me
How I survived, we will know
Only you and I -
You just knew how to wait
Like no one else.

(Slide 2.) Reader:

Let history flip back
The pages are legendary
And memory. Flying through the years
Leads again to campaigns and battles.

Reader:

War - there is no crueler word.
War - there is no sadder word
War - there is no holier word.
In the anguish and glory of these years
And on our lips is different
It can't be and isn't...

Music Mozart "Requiem".

(Slide 3.)Reader:

Here is the forty-first year, the end of June,
And people went to bed peacefully the night before.
But in the morning the whole country already knew
That a terrible war began

Reader:

June… The sunset was fading into the evening.
And the sea overflowed during the white night,
And there was a sonorous laughter of the guys,
Not knowing, not knowing grief.

Reader:

June. We didn't know then
Walking from school evenings
That tomorrow will be the first day of the war,
And it will end only in the 45th. in May.

Reader:

Everything breathed such silence,
That the whole earth was still asleep, it seemed
Who knew that between peace and war,
Just some 5 minutes left.

2nd leader: On June 22, 1941, the peaceful life of the Soviet people was disrupted. The Great Patriotic War began.

Reader:

From the boundless Siberian plain
To Polevskie forests and swamps
The heroic people rose,
Our great, mighty people!
He came out: free and right,
Answering war with war
Stand up for your native state
For our mighty country!

Song Holy War.

3rd leader: During the course of the war, there were several battles that determined its outcome. Kursk, Stalingrad, Leningrad and, of course, the battle of Moscow.

Reader:

And there were many terrible battles
In which the damned enemy was defeated.
Great battle near Moscow
In which we said menacingly to the enemy: “Stop!”

1st host: Under the capital, for the first time, the wave of fascist aggression was stopped. Moscow has not lost its brilliance even in the most difficult wartime thanks to the steadfastness of the soldiers who proclaimed to the world “Russia is great, but there is nowhere to retreat - Moscow is behind.”

Reader:

Behind Moscow -
Capital of the world!
For her, in the fire of dashing years,
Brothers rose to death -
Son of a Bashkir, Russian,
both Tatar and Georgian.

Reader:

Oh Moscow!
You are the heart of all Russia;
Light shines from your eyes
We are alive, even though they mowed us down with lead,
Without you, Moscow
We have no life!

The song "At the nameless height."

2nd leader: The battle in the area of Kursk, Orel and Belgorod is one of the greatest battles of the Great Patriotic War. Not only were the selected and most powerful groups of Germans defeated here. But the belief in Germany's ability to resist the might of the Soviet Union has also been irrevocably undermined in the fascist German troops.

3rd leader: For 50 days and nights there were fierce and bloody battles on the Kursk Bulge.

Reader:

Tested by fire and iron
And near Kursk, and near Orel,
But I survived and was not killed,
And tested for fear, and kink.

1st host: The long-suffering Stalingrad land. How much did you have to endure! In all the places where the fighting took place, it was literally plowed up by explosions of shells, covered with a layer of metal. And in the first years after the war it was impossible to plow it. What was more in it - metal or earth? For Germany, the battle of Stalingrad was the gravest defeat in its history, for Russia it was its greatest victory.

Reader:

From birth, the earth has not seen
No siege, no battle,
The earth shook
And the fields turned red
Everything was aflame over the Volga River.

Reader:

In the heat of factories, houses, station
Dust on the shore.
The voice of the fatherland said to him:
Don't hand over the city to the enemy.
Faithful to the oath Russian soldier,
He defended Stalingrad.

2nd leader: For almost 900 days, Leningrad lived and fought in the enemy ring. The inhabitants of Leningrad endured incredible hardships and suffering during the blockade, unprecedented in history. There are two and a half million people in the city. And the road of life: cars with food drive on the frozen ice of Lake Ladoga, and they are bombed by the Nazis day and night.

Reader:

In the siege of Leningrad, the cannonade does not stop.
Again they fly, again they bomb.
The first day of the blockade is burning.
Projectiles fly after projectile….
They have nowhere to run
Stand to the end with the hail
It's quiet inside to starve.

Reader:

We will die, but we will not allow
(We will dear)
To the Neva wide mouth
Damned enemy.
Here everything is paid for by labor,
Here the air is fighting,
Here every ledge, every house -
Alive, friends, alive!
Not a step back, not a step back
Not one step back! Leningrad is behind us!

The song "We need one victory."

3rd leader: War and youth... War and mothers... and widows... But the worst, most inhuman thing is War and children. Children of the war ... They were children of the war toiling at the machines, burying their loved ones, freezing, dying of hunger in besieged Leningrad

Reader:

Children of war - and blows cold.
Children of war - and it smells of hunger
Children of war - and hair on end:
On the bangs of children ... gray stripes.

Reader:

The eyes of a seven year old girl
Like two faded lights.
More noticeable on a child's face
Great, heavy sadness.

Reader:

She is silent, no matter what you ask,
You joke with her - she is silent in response,
Like she's not seven, not eight
And many, many bitter years.

1st host: Children met the war at different ages. Some are tiny, some are teenagers. Some were on the verge of adolescence. The war found them in capital cities and small villages, at home and visiting their grandmothers, in a country camp, at the forefront and in the rear.

2nd leader: From the school bench, the guys went to the front. Those who fought at the front gave all their strength to achieve victory over the enemy. Many of them did not return. Only women and children remained at home.

Reader:

Wait for me and I will come back,
Just wait a lot.
Wait for sadness
yellow rain
Wait when others are not expected.
Forgetting yesterday.
Wait when from distant places
Letters will not come.
Wait until you get bored
To all who are waiting together.

Reader:

Wait for me and I will come back,
don't wish well
To everyone who knows by heart
It's time to forget.
Let the son and mother believe
That there is no me.
Let friends get tired of waiting
Sitting by the fire
Drink bitter wine
For the soul...
Wait. And along with them
Don't rush to drink.

Reader:

Wait for me and I will come back.
All deaths out of spite.
Who did not wait for me, let him
He will say: - Lucky -
Do not understand those who did not wait for them,
Like in the middle of a fire
Waiting for your
You saved me
How I survived, we will know
Only we are with you. -
You just knew how to wait.
Like no one else.

Song dark night.

3rd leader: They, mothers and wives, brides and sisters, knew how to wait. Wait, hope, love. And inspire hope in those who are at the front, at the forefront. Who is at war. But they couldn't just wait and hope. Mothers, wives, sisters, brides - everyone who is not at the front - this is the rear. The rear must work for the front: after all, victory was forged not only at the front, but also in the rear.

Reader:

... But can you tell about this -
What years did you live in!
What an immeasurable heaviness
On women's shoulders lay down! ..

Reader:

That morning I said goodbye to you
Your husband, or brother, or son,
And you with your destiny
Left alone...

Reader:

You walked, hiding your grief,
Severe through labor.
The whole front, from sea to sea,
You fed with your bread.

Reader:

In cold winters, in a blizzard,
At that distant line
The soldiers warmed their greatcoats,
What you sewed with care.

Reader:

Rushed in the roar, in the smoke
Soviet soldiers in battle
And the enemy strongholds collapsed
From the bombs you planted...

Song "In the dugout".

1st host: And, nevertheless, a turning point came in the war and the liberation of the occupied territories began. Having cleared the territory of our country from the fascists, our soldiers liberated the peoples of Europe from the fascist yoke.

Reader:

And we went to liberate Europe.
Our soldiers are in dugouts, in the trenches,
In dugouts, tanks, bunkers, bunkers,
On ships and planes...

Reader:

The fascist invaders were defeated.
The Germans were driven all the way to Berlin.
Berlin was taken, and to the Reichstag
Our flag was proudly hoisted.

Penya "The Last Fight".

Reader:

You went and went to attack relentlessly
Berlin was on fire, every house was smoking,
And May covered the chestnuts with candles
In a torn park where thunder rolled.

Reader:

There was a hot battle for every house and ledge,
Towers fell in broken crosses,
How you longed to rush to the attack,
Break through to the center where the Reichstag burned.

Reader:

Before the arches of the charred vault
In some pristine silence
Soldiers of the Greatest Campaign
Painted right on the wall.

Reader:

Everyone wrote their name openly,
For the people of the future to know
That this feat accomplished by all of them,
Done in the name of humanity.

2nd leader: Victory in war is jubilation and sorrow. Time does not muffle them. And we must pass on this memory of the most terrible war that touched every family from generation to generation. Victory Day was, is and must remain the most holy holiday. After all, those who paid for it with their lives gave us the opportunity to live now. We must always remember this. The memory of the fallen and those who did not live to this day will be honored with a minute of silence ...

(Moment of silence.)

Reader:

We need peace - you and me, and all the children in the world,
And the dawn should be peaceful, which we will meet tomorrow.

Reader:

We need peace, dewy grass, smiling childhood,
We need peace, a beautiful world, inherited.

Reader:

"Not!" - we declare to the war, to all evil and black forces ...
The grass should be green, and the sky should be blue-blue! ..

Reader:

You hear, friend, streams ring, birds sing on the branches.
On a wonderful land we happened to be born.

Reader:

So let it always bloom, let it make noise in the gardens.
Let people look at her with loving eyes!

3rd leader:

So that again on the earthly planet
That disaster did not happen again.
We need,
So that our children
This was remembered
Like us!
I don't need to worry
So that that war is not forgotten:
After all, this memory is our conscience
She is
How much power do we need...

1st host:

We haven't been around yet
When fireworks rumbled from end to end.
Soldiers. You gave the planet
Great May!
Victorious May!

2nd leader:

Today, the holiday enters every home.
And joy to people with him comes next.
We congratulate you on a great day,
Happy day of our glory!
Happy Victory Day!

The song "Victory Day" sounds.

Event progress

The war has passed
The trouble has passed
But pain calls out to people.
Come on people never
Let's not forget about it!
Teacher: There are events, dates, names of people who entered the history of the city, region, country and even the history of the whole Earth. Books and music are written about them. The main thing is that they are remembered. And this memory is passed down from generation to generation and does not allow distant days and events to fade.
One of these events was the Great Patriotic War of our people against Nazi Germany. Every person should remember her.

On June 22, 1941, Nazi Germany attacked our Motherland. At that time, Germany was ruled by the Nazis, led by Hitler, a cruel and merciless enslaver of other peoples. Together with his generals, he drew up a plan for a quick takeover of the Soviet Union.
The Nazis were sure of their invincibility. And indeed. They conquered many other countries and had very good weapons and equipment, so they could attack our land from the sea. From the air and on land. They wanted to destroy our army and navy, destroy large cities along with their inhabitants. And those who survive, make their obedient slaves.
Our frontier troops were the first to take the blow. All of them showed unparalleled courage, fighting to the last drop of blood. The defenders of the Brest Fortress especially distinguished themselves.
At the beginning of the war, the Nazis were stronger. Therefore, they captured a large space and approached the heart of our motherland, Moscow. Enemies surrounded the beautiful city on the Neva Leningrad (St. Petersburg) with a ring of blockade. Nine hundred days and nights in the surrounded city, Leningraders defended themselves, but the enemy was not allowed into the city.
Our troops at the front fought for every piece of native land. Partisans fought on the land occupied by the enemy. And on the mainland, where the enemy did not reach, Soviet people worked day and night: they made planes, tanks, machine guns, shells and cartridges. Everywhere one could see the slogan written in large letters: “Everything for the front, everything for victory!” All the people furiously attacked the enemy.

For a long 4 years until May 9, 1945, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers fought for the liberation of their homeland from fascism. They did it for future generations, for us.
In every family lives the memory of those who fought or worked during the Great Patriotic War.

The war has passed, the suffering has passed,

But pain calls out to people:

Come on people never
Let's not forget about it.
May her memory be true
Store, about this flour,
And the children of today's children,
And our grandchildren grandchildren.

Teacher: We did not hear bomb explosions, air raid signals.
We didn't stand for bread on cold nights... We didn't know what a funeral was. But when we ask adults about the war, we learn that in almost every family, someone died, went missing, or was wounded.
Twenty-seven million lives were claimed by this war. Remember them!

On the ninth day of jubilant May,

When silence fell on the ground

The news rushed from end to end:

The world has won! The war is over!

WORLD is the Earth, the world is people, the world is children.

The world is a calm and joyful life.

No war, no grief and tears. Everyone needs the world!

Peace will be when all people on our planet will be friends.

Teacher: People's pride in the Great Victory, the memory of the terrible price that our people paid for it, will never disappear from the memory of the people.

The Great Patriotic War is a lesson to us, the modern generation, a lesson that educates us and shows us how brave and courageous those people who gave us today's world!

People! As long as hearts are beating

At what price is happiness won, -

Please remember! (Robert Rozhdestvensky)

Event progress

D: This year we are celebrating a significant date - the 72nd anniversary of the Victory of the peoples of our multinational Motherland in the Great Patriotic War, a victory won by the country at the cost of great deeds and incredible losses.

M: It was a long-awaited and joyful event not only for the army that defeated the enemy, but also for all people, home front workers who worked hard day and night to provide the soldiers with everything they needed.

D: Today we bow our heads before the memory of millions of fallen defenders of the Fatherland, whose feat led to victory over the enemy.
Eternal glory to them! Everlasting memory!

M: Let's get in touch with the inner world of a man, a soldier-warrior. After all, first of all, this is someone's father, son, brother, from whom the war took away the opportunity to live peacefully, study, work and be close to their loved ones.

D: Inextinguishable memory of generations

And the memory of those whom we sacredly honor,
Let's people stand up for a moment
And in sorrow we will stand and be silent.

Let's honor the memory with a moment of silence.

D: The hot, June night was ending, the dawn of a new day was already rising - Sunday, June 22, 1941. And at that time, thousands of Nazi soldiers, many hundreds of aircraft, tanks crossed the border of our Motherland.

Reader:

Sad willows leaned towards the pond,
The moon floats above the water.
There, at the border, he stood at his post
At night, a young fighter ...
In the dark night he did not sleep, did not doze off,
He guarded his native land, -
In the thicket of the forest he heard steps
And lay down with an automatic.
Black shadows grew in the mist
A dark cloud in the sky...
The first shell exploded in the distance -
Thus the war began.
Peacefully the country woke up
On this June day
Just turned around
In the squares of her lilac.
Rejoicing in the sun and the world,
Moscow met the morning.
Suddenly spread through the air
Memorable words...
Voice confidently strict
The country immediately recognized.
In the morning on our doorstep
The war broke out.

M: Destroying and destroying, mercilessly burning and killing everything in their path, the Nazis moved on the territory of Russia to its heart - Moscow.

Our people rose to defend the Fatherland, and therefore the war was called the Patriotic War. Fathers, brothers, sons went to the front. In a deadly battle with the enemy, the love for the native land and the determination to defend the Motherland to the last drop of blood were tempered and strengthened among Soviet soldiers.

Reader:

Everything burned: flowers and maples,
The blade was not alive.
Dusty shrubs all around
Rustled charred leaves.
Look to the right - dear
The wheat is dying.
To the left - there is no end and edge
Space given to fire.
The earth seemed to the limit
Was on fire.
And all, withered, buzzed:
"Cursed be the war!"
We will not give up the endless, blue fields
Where we won and will win
We will not give up our beautiful Motherland
We won't give up!

D: War. Terrible, cruel time. The time of the most difficult trials, the incredible strain of all the forces of the people fighting against the merciless enemy. But war is not only heavy, bloody battles, decisive battles. War is a hard, exhausting, incessant work of people in the rear. At factories for the manufacture of shells, weapons, clothing for the army. But the men were at the front, their wives and children, old people, those who could not go to the front took their places at the machines. The main thing for them was work. They lived from hand to mouth, malnourished, not resting, forgetting about themselves. "Everything for the front, everything for victory!" - the main slogan of those days.

M: Let's not forget. That in the days of the war, the fighters called the guards multi-barreled mortar "Katyusha" - a formidable weapon that the enemies were terrified of. And there was a song about it.

The choir sings. Song "Katyusha" Music - Matvey Blanter, lyrics - Mikhail Isakovsky.

Reader:

There were battles at sea and on land,
Shots were fired all around
The songs of "Katyusha" were heard
Near Moscow, behind Kursk and Orel.
Raised the spirit of the Soviet soldiers,
Sang a victory march, battle
And buried the enemies in the grave
Under the great Kursk salient.
On the fronts, she did not lose heart,
She sang loud songs
Only then "Katyusha" fell silent,
How victory ended the war!

D: Our people won at a high price. Almost 4 years - 1418 days and nights - there was a war. These were years of deprivation, grief, hard work. Cities and villages have been devastated, fields have been burned, dreams and hopes of people have been torn off. At the same time, these were years of courage, selfless love for the Motherland.

M: The Great Patriotic War ... In the battles for the fatherland, everyone who could hold a weapon in their hands fought to the death, defended every inch of the earth.

Let's remember how it was ... (video)

D: The war has left its mark on almost every family. Our country has lost more than 20 million of its sons and daughters. 1710 cities and towns, over 70 thousand villages and villages were in ruins. Exploded, destroyed about 32 thousand industrial enterprises.

M: How many graves of the Unknown Soldier are there in our country? A lot of. The soldiers died for our peaceful life, for the peaceful life of future generations. And our duty is to remember this, to prevent war and the grief it brings.

D: The last war was also terrible because the Nazis did not spare anyone: they killed children and women, burned entire villages, tried to destroy the entire population of the country.

Monument

It was in May, at dawn.
There was a battle at the walls of the Reichstag.
I noticed a German girl
Our soldier on the dusty pavement.

At the pillar, trembling, she stood,
There was fear in his blue eyes.
And pieces of whistling metal
Death and torment sowed around.

Then he remembered how saying goodbye in the summer
He kissed his daughter.
Maybe the girl's father
He shot his own daughter.

But then, in Berlin, under fire
A fighter crawled, and shielding his body
Girl in a short white dress
Carefully removed from the fire.

And, stroking with a gentle hand,
He dropped her to the ground.
They say that in the morning Marshal Konev
Stalin reported this.

How many children have their childhood returned
Gave joy and spring
Privates of the Soviet Army
The people who won the war!

And in Berlin, on a festive date,
Was erected to stand for centuries,
Monument to the Soviet soldier
With a rescued girl in her arms.

It stands as a symbol of our glory,
Like a beacon glowing in the dark.
It is he, the soldier of my state,
Protects peace throughout the earth.

M: May day forty-fifth ... Familiar and unfamiliar people hugged, gave each other flowers, sang and danced right on the streets. It seemed that for the first time millions of adults and children raised their eyes to the sun, for the first time enjoyed the colors, sounds, smells of life.
It was a common holiday of all our people, of all mankind and a holiday of every person.

Dance "A soldier is walking through the city."

D: Yes, that May morning was filled with jubilation. But sorrow seeped through him. People acutely felt the loss of loved ones, acquaintances and strangers; those who died under fascist bullets and shells, torture in concentration camps, in blockade hunger, in burned villages. The war killed them...

M: This jubilation and this sorrow. Time does not muffle them. And we must pass on this memory of the most terrible war that touched every family from generation to generation.

D: Victory Day was, is and must remain the most holy holiday. After all, those who paid for it with their lives gave us the opportunity to live now, and we must remember this. Our memory must not be blind.

Verse:

The war ended with victory
Those years are behind us.
Burning medals, orders
Many on the chest.
Who wears the military order
For heroic deeds in battle
And who - for the feat of labor
In your native land.
The people won
I did not give the country to the Nazis,
Rebuilt the state
Led her to great glory.
Bow to you, soldiers,
For blooming May
For the dawn over the hut,
For native land.
Bow down, soldiers
You for silence
For winged expanse -
Free country.

Verse:

Even then we were not in the world,
When you came home with Victory,
Soldiers of May, glory to you forever
From the whole earth, from the whole earth!
Thank you soldiers.

Our event dedicated to the Victory Day has come to an end. Thank you all for your attention!

All participants of the event congratulate veterans of the Great Patriotic War on Victory Day! (The song "Victory Day" plays the words of V. Kharitonov, music by D. Tukhmanov)

A very important holiday for all the inhabitants of our country is approaching - Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. It is needed so that people do not forget about the feat of their ancestors. It is especially important to tell children about the war. They should know at what cost the Victory over fascism was won. Therefore, on the eve of the holiday, all schools hold events dedicated to this event. Many educators favor formal rulers, class hours, or concerts. But the problem is that in recent years it has become increasingly difficult to spend May 9 at school.

The Great Patriotic War is perceived by modern children as a very distant event, about which they know little. By 2017, there were almost no living participants left, children are not interested in old films, they read books less and less. The traditions of celebrating Victory Day are often formal. Therefore, many teachers try to organize something unusual in order to interest children. But the scenario of May 9 should be solemn, this is not an entertainment event.

Holiday tasks

The main thing that teachers need to achieve when organizing festive events is to awaken in children a sense of pride in their people, who defeated the Nazis and survived in such a difficult time. All conversations, class hours and even concerts should encourage students to be interested in the past of their homeland, look for material and read books. Each event dedicated to the military theme performs the following tasks:

  • instill patriotic feelings, love for the motherland;
  • to make children understand what the war meant for each person;
  • acquaint with historical facts;
  • give an idea of the real life of people during the war years;
  • to instill a sense of gratitude and respect for the heroes of the war.

Preparation for the holiday

In order for the event not to be formal and to be remembered by children, they must be involved in its preparation. It is advisable to discuss the scenario with them and choose the option for holding the holiday.

You need to prepare for Victory Day in advance, several months before the event. In order for children to understand how important it is to honor the memory of the soldiers who died defending their homeland, you should not limit yourself to one concert or line. Of course, it is desirable that there be a serious event, but in addition to it, other methodological techniques can be used.

  • Watching war films, listening to songs and memorizing poems.
  • Preparation of individual stories about family members - participants in the war. It is good if they are accompanied by a demonstration of photographs or some surviving items of the war years.
  • Joint production of the album by the whole class. For him, you can use personal military photos or cut out from magazines.
  • In elementary school, it is necessary to pay attention to the manufacture of crafts. It can be paper flowers, postcards or drawings. You can make an exhibition or donate these crafts to surviving veterans.
  • Senior students can participate in the design of not only the classroom, but also the school. They can draw posters and wall newspapers, make an exhibition of books or photographs.
  • It is very good if, on the eve of the holiday, the teacher takes the children of his class to the museum of military glory, if there is one in the city.
  • If it is not possible to invite veterans to school, elementary school students can write letters to them. Children should express in their own words what they feel on Victory Day, describe their attitude to the war.
  • And be sure as much as possible, teachers should talk about the war, the Victory, the feat of Soviet soldiers. Do not load children with dry information, dates and numbers. It is better to tell about the fate of ordinary people, about the significance of victory for all subsequent generations.

Holiday decoration

It is very important that the concert held on the eve of May 9 be properly designed. In order for children to feel the atmosphere of those years and the solemnity of Victory Day, the hall or class should be decorated with posters, wall newspapers and selections of photographs. When conducting a performance or a theatrical performance, it is desirable to use costumes and scenery that are as close as possible to the realities of the war years. You need to find tunics, caps, flasks, guns and pistols.

To make the event more interesting, it is advisable to use a multimedia projector. Using a computer, you can display stills from films, documentaries and newsreel of the war years on the screen. All this must be accompanied by music.

The most commonly used songs are "Victory Day" and "Holy War". But depending on the scenario of the holiday, you can take other songs or their fragments: “Dark Night”, “Buchenwald Alarm”, “Cranes”, “We Need One Victory”, “At the Nameless Height”.

It is also good to use songs and music from famous films: “Officers”, “Only Old Men Go to Battle” and others. You can include the sounds of a bell, the rumble of aircraft, bomb explosions and the voice of Levitan in the concert.

How to spend Victory Day

The scale of the organization of the holiday depends on the capabilities of the school, its location. In the city it is easier to find and invite veterans to visit the museum. In a small rural school, you can hold a holiday for all residents or visit a local monument. But in any case, you should not limit yourself to one concert or line.

In order for Victory Day to touch the soul of every child, you need to approach its organization responsibly. It is advisable to hold various conversations, competitions, class hours and theme evenings within 1-2 weeks before the holiday. And on May 7 or 8, the culmination should be a concert or performance. What kind of activities can be used?

  • Classroom is the easiest way to celebrate Victory Day at school. Children should prepare for it in advance: collect material for reports, learn poems and songs. Between performances, the teacher can show slides or turn on the soundtrack of military songs.
  • A more interesting version of the holiday is a quiz, competition or sports competition. Questions related to dates, surnames and the most important events of the war years are more suitable for older students. In elementary grades, it is better to have a competition with war games.
  • The best way to let children feel the full scale of the Victory and the horror of war is a conversation with veterans. True, in recent years it is difficult to find survivors. If there is such an opportunity, the meeting should be solemn. The veteran needs to be presented in such a way that the children understand that they have a real hero in front of them. After congratulations and presentation of gifts and flowers, the veteran talks about the war, the Victory. Such meetings teach children to respect elders and appreciate their feat. As an option, you can use a theatrical production: a scene in the form of a conversation between a grandfather and his grandson.
  • A concert is the most common scenario for holding a holiday. It is desirable that as many children as possible be involved in it, and they should not be passive spectators. If this event is formally organized, it will not be remembered and will not fulfill its purpose - to awaken in the child's soul respect for the dead, an understanding of the value of victory.
  • A more interesting option is a stage setting. It is more difficult to organize such a musical performance. But it can awaken in children a desire to learn more about the war and ordinary people who died for their homeland. Even elementary school students can participate in small skits. For them, this form of celebration is more interesting. The script can be taken ready-made or invented. There is also another option - to invite professional artists.

When preparing the script, teachers need to pay attention that the performance is primarily for children, and not for other viewers. All students should be interested in the holiday, so it is better to abandon the traditional performance of poems and songs on stage.

  • It is best if the presentation is thematic, for example, based on the works of one of the poets.
  • For younger schoolchildren, performances that reflect the fate of war children will be more interesting. For them, you should not use long poems in the concert.
  • For older children, it is important to turn on the recording of the announcement on the radio about the beginning of the war, you can use the episode with the young men seeing off to the front.
  • To make the performance memorable, it is advisable to find a military uniform of those years, use the scenery of a dugout, a trench or a fire. It is important that all actions are accompanied by music and military songs. Well, if you manage to film the concert on video - it will be a memory of the holiday.

You need to end any concert or performance on an optimistic note. Victory Day is still a holiday, albeit a sad one. It is necessary to make children understand that it is the feat of their ancestors that allows them to live peacefully and happily. At the end, you can distribute St. George ribbons to everyone so that the memory of these ancient events remains in the hearts for a long time.

Unusual holiday scenarios

  1. A historical game for middle and high school students dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. It broadens the horizons of schoolchildren, helps to better remember the material and brings up patriotic feelings. The game involves two teams that come up with names related to the realities of the war years, a motto and an emblem. Participants take turns answering questions and earning points. To make the game more exciting for children, you can take popular shows as a model: KVN or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Questions should include the most important events of the war, the names of generals and heroes, the names of cities and the places of the most important battles.
  2. A very interesting concert will turn out on the basis of the film “Only Old Men Go to Battle”. Participants in the performance must be dressed in tunics. A soundtrack with episodes from the film is periodically included. Between the songs and the words of the film characters, the children talk about real people who sacrificed their lives, about those who did not lose their presence of mind during these difficult years. You can tell about war correspondents, postmen, nurses, about artists who even performed on the front line, about women on whose shoulders all the hardships of the war fell.
  3. The theatrical performance "At the monument to the heroes of the war" can be held together with students of both senior and junior classes. Two brothers, who came to lay flowers at the monument to the heroes, are watching from the side of the picture of the past. This can be achieved by changing the lighting of the scene. Various people dressed in military clothing come up to the monument. Each of them lays flowers and tells his story. It could be a nurse, a little girl who lost her whole family in besieged Leningrad, or a young fighter. At the end, modern children may come up, who will tell that they are grateful to the heroes and will never forget their feat.
  4. A performance based on front-line letters will also be of interest to children, especially if someone has preserved real yellowed triangles. Concert participants, dressed as soldiers, read letters. Between them music or poetry sounds. You can include in this concert the letters of modern children addressed to their great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers.
  5. For younger students, you can organize a performance of short scenes based on famous poems. It is easy to play such works: S. Mikhalkov “We are also warriors”, Y. Drunina “Zinka”, A. Tvardovsky “Tankman's story”, excerpts from M. Aliger's poem “Zoya”.
  6. In high school, it will be interesting to hold a dramatic performance about the graduates of 1941, who, after a school ball, went straight to the front. Stories about their peers will help teenagers feel the tragedy of war. You can decorate the performance with music, poems, scenes of farewell of young men with girls, real facts.
  7. In elementary school, it is good to hold an event dedicated to children who participated in the war. In front of him, students should read several works about little heroes. At the festival, you need to talk not only about the boys and girls who fought at the front or with the partisans. It is important to mention how difficult it was for the children in the rear. Be sure to include a story about besieged Leningrad, for example, excerpts from Tanya Savicheva's diary.

Victory Day is a holiday that cannot be approached formally. At school, it is necessary to organize such events so that children feel the importance of the feat of their ancestors. It is necessary that the new generation does not forget what this war was like.
