Guys! After all, we can’t always buy the items we need for our home or as gifts for friends and family.

You can make them yourself.

And the products turn out very beautiful. Is it true?

And the main thing is that no one will buy exactly these items anywhere, because you made them yourself.

Today we will make pencil cups.

Please tell me why we need such a glass?

Right!

Look guys! I got a glass with flowers. And you can decorate it completely differently.

But be careful. The beads are small and fragile. How will you behave with him?

Let's get our hands ready and start getting creative

If you have a child in your home, you might love these yogurt cup crafts. We have made an excellent selection of ideas for you, in which you will find a lot of interesting things. We suspect that you will quickly pick up the basis for these toys - this product is very popular among kids. Additionally, you will need colored paper, cardboard, plasticine and other office supplies.

We advise you to look through the entire selection and choose together with your child what he would like to make with his own hands from cups of his favorite yogurt. Some master classes are designed for little ones - kindergarteners can easily master them with your help. Others are suitable for older children. In any case, you will end up with a great yogurt cup craft that your child can play with.

Airplane

This craft is suitable for preschool children or elementary school students. You only need to monitor the assembly process.

We will need:

  • a bright yogurt cup;
  • cardboard;
  • cap;
  • glue or plasticine.

Remove the cap from the package of mayonnaise, ketchup, fruit puree or something similar. We cut out a piece from cardboard that completely covers the base of the cup (just circle it on paper) and protrudes slightly beyond it on one side (top). We make the wings from one strip of cardboard, which needs to be rounded at the edges.

The wings, cap and back of the yogurt cup airplane need to be glued on. If the child is small, you can take plasticine. Make several of these airplanes - the boys will have a new interesting game. By the way, this is a great idea for a craft with your child for February 23rd!

Tulips

Here's an idea for a craft made from yogurt cups for March 8th. Or just as a gift for your mother, grandmother or sister. A primary school student can make tulips with his own hands.

We will need:

  • green yogurt cup;
  • another container of a different color;
  • plastic tube;
  • cardboard;
  • plasticine.

To make the structure a little heavier, glue more plasticine to the bottom of the green cup. Make a hole in the central part, insert a tube and glue it together.

It is better to make the top glass yellow, red or lilac. Cut off the top first and then shape the petals to slightly round and smooth the edges. The tube can be attached to them using transparent glue or plasticine. Cut out the petals from cardboard and glue them to the main part of the craft.

Make a whole flowerbed of plastic yogurt tulips. You can either play with them or give them to someone.

Kitty

Use this tutorial to create a cute animal of your choice out of yoghurt cups. Children will be able to play with it.

We will need:

  • a small glass of yogurt (like Rastishka);
  • a glass-bath for cottage cheese;
  • plastic eyes;
  • colored paper;
  • cardboard.

You need to make a slot in the front of the cup so as to form the legs. You can leave the back wall untouched, but form small curves on the sides to create cat “pads.”

Make the tail and mustache from colored paper (glue with transparent glue). Instead of plastic blanks in the form of eyes, you can use buttons. Well, we cut out the ears and parts of the muzzle from cardboard and fold them over. You can glue them onto plasticine.

Make a whole family of big and small kittens and place them on your desktop. In the upper tray, if desired, you can store various small things like paper clips or something else.

Cow

This adorable yogurt cup craft would make a great school entry. If desired, it can be made from large glasses (300-400 ml).

We will need:

  • 2 cups;
  • cardboard;
  • glue.

Make the cow's legs from long rectangular strips folded in half. It is better to cut out the ears and horns from colored paper. And so that there is a small reserve (it will hide in the space between the cups).

Make the eyes and muzzle from paper or plastic blanks. Don't forget to make a tail and beautiful eyelashes. The cups can be held together with glue or plasticine.

In the same way you can make a pig, elk, deer and other animals of a similar type.

Automobile

The boys will be happy: you can make an excellent racing car from ordinary yogurt cups with your own hands. Nothing complicated - even a schoolboy can do it.

We will need:

  • 2 cups of yogurt;
  • 4 covers;
  • 2 wooden skewers;
  • cardboard.

You need to make holes in the cups so that the skewer is exactly in the center of the cork wheels. Cut out 4 circles from cardboard, the diameter of which coincides with the lids. Make a hole in them too; place a plasticine ball between the plastic and cardboard to secure the wheels to the skewers. Repeat the same with another glass.

Decorate using strips of cardboard or draw something with a marker. Fasten the two parts of the structure with a strip of cardboard and add a little plasticine so that the cardboard seat holds well.

Ready! All that remains is to add the racer figurine and start playing.

Theater

Use this tutorial as inspiration to make a theater out of plastic cups with the same or any other characters.

We will need:

  • cardboard;
  • cups;
  • threads;
  • stickers;
  • markers;
  • any decor.

Make faces for the characters using a marker, cardboard, or stickers. Make hairstyles from yarn or sewing thread. Add bows, funny hats or something else. Or you can simplify the task and cut out images of your favorite characters or animals from a book or postcards. Just glue them to the cups so that the craft elements can be moved and acted out scenes.

Put all the characters on cardboard and create a production in your home theater!

Caterpillar

The caterpillar can be made very long or very small. It all depends on how much you like yogurt. By the way, you can change the length of your caterpillar as new cups appear.

We will need:

  • cups of the same color;
  • skewers for canapés;
  • cardboard;
  • plasticine;
  • double sided tape.

The cups need to be fastened together in twos. Place them with their upper parts facing each other and glue them on plasticine or glue. It is better to fasten the double parts together with double-sided tape. Well, or sew it with threads. The main thing is that they remain mobile - this will make playing with the caterpillar more interesting.

Make the muzzle out of cardboard and colored paper. Use skewers to imitate the “horns” of a caterpillar.

Continue attaching the body parts of your toy until your child wants to make a second caterpillar. This way the cups will always be in use.

Moidodyr

This is one of the most unusual and cute yogurt cup crafts that a child can make with their own hands. We would advise you to make it for some competition for school or kindergarten - it is very good.

We will need:

  • yogurt bath;
  • cardboard;
  • textile;
  • a small piece of washcloth;
  • straw.

The body of the yogurt jar should be covered with a rectangular piece of cardboard. The easiest way is to measure the parameters of the cup and then glue the workpiece. The glass can simply be placed on top.

The back wall should rise slightly. Make it out of white cardboard, draw a muzzle with a nose in the form of a faucet. Make a hairstyle out of straw and cover it with a cardboard cap. Make hands for the washbasin from a piece of fabric (imitation of a towel). And use a washcloth to make a miniature copy of it.

With such a craft you can act out the fairy tale about Moidodyr. This washbasin can also be an excellent container for storing small items: original, beautiful, practical.

Tiger cub

This simple video master class on crafts from yogurt cups is best watched with your children. Prepare everything you need, then turn on the instructions and get to work. Making a tiger cub is really simple, together you can do it easily. Well, the child will definitely like to play with it.

We hope you enjoyed these DIY crafts with your kids activities. Don't throw away your yogurt cups - you'll definitely need them. Repeat these ideas or just get inspired and create something of your own. Well, it will be useful for your child to do such pleasant work with you.

Greetings, creative ladies! Get ready for the MK to be detailed, and therefore long and tedious. After all, if you are a teapot, then every detail is important to you.
Preamble. The girls from the forum once gave me a bunch of yogurt jars. And a bunch of different rags - pieces, cuts, scraps, ribbons, lace. I didn’t throw it away, because everything will come in handy in a good household. And then the hands finally reached them. At first it was decided to make a pincushion; after all, this is a necessary item in the household of even the most uneconomical madam; it will be useful to absolutely any woman. A basket like this, seen on the “Handmade” forum, came to mind, but I couldn’t find any descriptions of how to make it or how to design it. In general, I did as God told me to do. In the process, I realized that the basket does not need to be filled with foam rubber, then it will be possible to put something in it. By the way, I remembered that Easter is in a month, and the eternal question of which package to give colored eggs in. I decided that the basket would come in handy... While I was making the egg basket, the thought came that I could make a lid for the basket, then it would be a full-fledged box in which you can not only store jewelry, but also give monetary gifts in it. It looks much more aesthetically pleasing than an envelope, and then the new owner can use it as a jewelry box, while remembering you with gratitude. While I was making the box, I thought that you could make a stroller box out of a yogurt jar, then it wouldn’t be a shame to congratulate your friend on the birth of a child by putting some money inside. While I was making the stroller, another idea for a box was born in my imagination. I hope I have enough imagination to make it and I will be able to demonstrate it to you over time.

1) pincushion

2) basket

3) little box-basket

4) stroller box

Well, now the ambula or plot, or whatever they say.
To write less, I had to take more photographs. I myself am a beginner in many ways, so I like it that in the MKs that I read, it is clear from the first time how to do what. That’s why I write so tediously and in detail. Some of the photos are not very clear, I apologize for that. I’ll write about materials and instruments as the play progresses, because all of them can be replaced with something else, depending on your imagination.

1) So, let's begin. We take a jar of yogurt and figure out where it is and what the handle will be made of. The classic placement is in the widest part of the jar (see photo No. 1 of this item), if you decide to make a stroller-box, you can attach it both to the sides of the jar and attach it to the lid (see photo of the “stroller” of this item).

Handles can be made from non-exotic materials that are found in almost any home.

A) The most sure thing is a fairly bendable aluminum wire coated with PVC. I bought it at the World of Electrics store, although for other purposes, that’s why I have one on my household. It bends only under good pressure, so the weight of the box will not sag or deform. And this is the only handle I recommend for a stroller.

We bend a piece of wire in an arc, calculate the height to your taste, and cut it off. We attach it with something very sticky. I had my eye on a domestic adhesive plaster and double-sided tape. This is something that is really difficult to peel off, even if it accidentally gets wet. The appearance of the patch is unaesthetic, but no one there will ever see it.
First, I figured out where the handles would be located, cut indentations in the jar with a knife and attached double-sided tape under them. The jar is so fragile that you need to act carefully, otherwise it will crack. If it is cracked, cover it with 2 layers of adhesive tape. Then I wrapped the ends of the wire-handle with adhesive tape so that they would stick well to the tape. Then I glued a wire handle onto the tape. And on both sides I secured the ends of the handle with adhesive tape.

Now we wrap it with something cute. In this case, I wrapped it with straps from a piece of satin nightgown left in the bins. Since the straps were short, I wound them towards each other, and at the junction there was a thickening. But then I covered it with a bow, and the thickening became completely unnoticeable. The ends inside the jar can be glued with glue (I use transparent “Contact”) or adhesive tape. I also wrapped the handle with the same fabric that was used to decorate the basket, and wrapped it with nylon tape on top. I also wrapped it with a satin ribbon and a nylon ribbon on top. You can also tie it with crochet, or using the macrame principle - with knots. I think you won't have any problems with this point.

Straps

fabric and nylon tape

b) If there is no wire, then the handle can be made from a plastic bottle of any color. Or from a plastic shampoo jar. This is definitely something that can be found in any apartment. I cut off the “bracelet” in the place where there is no narrowing on the bottle, in the middle. Cut the cut bracelet into a rectangle. Cut an even strip of the required thickness from it. And wrap it, as in the case of wire. But keep in mind that the handle will be quite flexible; it won’t be suitable for a stroller, but it will be fine for a basket. It can be made less flexible by twisting it in a spiral over a candle. Just twist it and immediately give it an arched shape. Otherwise, after processing over a flame, it will be difficult to bend it later.

c) I also had cheap hoop earrings, my sister gave them away because they had oxidized. And I made the handles for the first two baskets from them. By the way, they could be painted and not wrapped. I attached them one from the inside, the second from the outside, making holes in the jar with an awl.

d) you can still come up with a lot of options for what to build a handle from. But if you make it from cardboard, then cover it on both sides with fabric; it will prevent the cardboard from tearing during use.

2) Now the outer and inner decoration of the jar.
Again, we divide it into a pincushion and a basket.

a) Pincushion

If we are making a pincushion, then only the outer finish is important to us.
Select a piece of fabric of such a size that its edges can be folded inward.

We cut out an oval from corrugated cardboard, the size of the bottom of the jar. (I cut out 2 pieces at once).

Since I wanted the fabric to fit tightly on the outside of the jar, I glued double-sided tape along the outer perimeter of the jar. I couldn’t glue it with glue because the fabric was very thin and the glue seeping through it caused stains after drying. I covered the label with adhesive tape so that it would not show through the fabric.

I wrapped the fabric inside and glued it to the bottom. I glued corrugated cardboard on top. Then she wrapped it in organza and tucked the ends in, gluing them to the corrugated cardboard. I pressed it on top with a second piece of corrugated cardboard.

Now we roll up the foam rubber into a tube, wrap it with fabric and sew it together. Measure the width of the tube first. It needs to fit tightly in the basket.
Then we stuff the foam rubber into the basket and the pincushion is ready! Decorate the top the way you think is most convenient and beautiful. Voila! Now the gift is ready. Modest, but tasteful.

b) Basket

If we are making a basket, then the internal design is no less important to us than the external one.
As with the pincushion, I cut an oval out of corrugated cardboard to fit the bottom of the jar. I cut out an oval from fabric a little larger in diameter than the oval from cardboard. I cut the fabric. I made the cuts perpendicular to the cardboard so that it looked like rays of the sun. I glued the rays to the cardboard one at a time, pulling them slightly towards the middle. I waited until it dried. I glued the remaining rays. The reverse side will be our bottom in the jar.

Now we put the fabric for interior decoration into the basket, distribute it evenly, pour glue onto the bottom and press it on top with our new bottom made of cardboard covered with fabric. When the glue has set well, we begin to glue the rag at the top in a circle to the edges of the basket. We do this carefully and gradually, 1-2 cm at a time. When all the edges are glued to the jar, cut off the excess fabric hanging from the edges. So we have a neat interior design of the basket. I’ll tell you a secret, working with knitted fabrics is a pleasure when you compare them with satin ones.

The external design is also not difficult to do; the most important thing is not to stain the fabric with glue. Lay out the fabric on the table. Place the basket in the middle of this piece of fabric. The piece should be of such a size that all edges reach the edge of the jar. It doesn't matter whether it's round or square. In my photo it’s round only because the piece itself was that shape.

Carefully glue the fabric to the edges of the jar, overlapping the interior fabric. We carefully trim off the excess that falls inside with nail scissors (if you don’t have thin tailor’s scissors). Now the base of the basket is ready. We decorate the edge so as to hide our glued edges. I covered it with organza with elastic. On top of the elastic band I sewed roses from an organza ribbon to match the fabric on the basket. I sewed roses with one needle and sewed them to the basket with the second.

Well, here we have another beauty! You can safely put an Easter egg there and go visit.

In the pink basket, I swapped the order of decoration, first I decorated the jar on the outside, and then on the inside. I first pinned the tape with needles, and then slowly glued it on.

3) If we want to make a basket-box, then we will need a lid. I made it in the same way as in MK using boxes from spools of tape. For those who have seen it, you can skip this point. For those who don’t know, I’ll write it again.
I took a very thick piece of cardboard box and cut out two ovals in the shape of the top of the basket. then I glued them together. A little, so as not to cut off excess, we trim the edges, adjusting the size of the lid so that it fits tightly inside the basket along with the fabric that will be covered. Then we cut out an oval a little larger so that it “lies” on the basket without falling inside; this will be the top of the lid. it can be seen in the fourth photo.

Here I duplicate a piece from MK using round boxes, so instead of an oval in the photo there will be a circle. Don't let this bother you. So, we glue both cardboard ovals.

Then we glue the fabric to the inside of the oval. The finished box shows that the fabric fits tightly to the bottom and ends of the lid.

As soon as it sticks, we pull the fabric from above, having previously made it in a circle. We fix it in this position by first tying a knot on the thread, and then gluing the ends of the fabric to the cardboard. The finished box shows that the fabric is gathered at the top.

And we decorate the top of the lid, as our artistic taste tells us.

4) I made the stroller using the same principle. I just made a frame on the lid for the hood of the stroller and covered it with fabric. But I won’t show you how I did it yet, because I myself am not quite happy with the result so that I can advise you with a clear conscience about this particular manufacturing option.

bottom view of the lid

I hope you have the patience to watch this MK to the end))) If something is not clear, write, I will correct the master class.
Thank you for your attention! Good luck to everyone in your creativity!

Don’t rush to throw away your used plastic containers, because they can still be put to good use. In a new review, the author has collected the most interesting and practical examples of what else you can use unnecessary plastic bottles for.

1. Decoration in a marine style

To create a unique decoration in a marine style, you will need a small plastic or glass bottle, which should be filled with plain water and attributes of the seabed: sand, shells, large pearl-like beads, coins, shiny beads and glass shards. When all the components of the composition are folded, add a drop of blue food coloring, a few drops of vegetable oil and a little glitter into the bottle. All that remains is to tighten the cork well and the stunning decoration is ready.

2. Stand for books and magazines

Simple manipulations will allow you to turn an unnecessary milk or juice canister into a convenient stand for books, newspapers and magazines.

3. Faucet attachment

You can cut out a convenient faucet attachment from a shampoo bottle, which will allow your child to wash their hands or wash themselves without outside help without flooding the entire floor.

4. Napkin holder

A detergent bottle can be used to create a bright and practical napkin holder, the design of which is limited only by your imagination.

5. Stationery organizer

Instead of just throwing out regular bottles of shampoo and shower gel, make them into bright and cheerful coasters in the form of funny monsters. To begin, simply cut off the necks of the bottles and mark the locations of future cuts. You can cut out a variety of decorative elements, such as eyes, teeth and ears, from colored paper or fabric and attach them to the bottles using superglue. It is best to attach finished products to the wall using double-sided tape.

6. Containers for cosmetic accessories

Cut-down plastic bottles are perfect for creating adorable containers for storing makeup brushes, makeup, ear sticks and other small items.

7. Poof

From a large number of plastic containers you can make a charming pouf, the creation process of which is quite simple and straightforward. First you need to make a circle from plastic bottles of the same height and secure it with tape. The resulting structure must be well wrapped with a sheet of foamed polyethylene, securing all joints with tape. The base of the ottoman is ready, all that remains is to sew a suitable cover for it.

8. Bracelets

Plastic bottles are an excellent basis for creating original bracelets. Use fabric, thread, leather and any other materials to decorate the unsightly plastic base.

9. Stand for sweets

The bottoms of plastic bottles of different sizes, painted in the desired shade, can be used to create an impressive multi-level stand for convenient and beautiful storage of sweets.

10. Scoop and spatula

Plastic milk and juice canisters can be used to create a practical scoop and handy little spatula.

11. Protective cap

A simple cap, which can be made in no time from an ordinary plastic bottle, will help protect your phone from snow or rain.

12. Lamp

A small plastic canister can be a wonderful base for creating an original lamp.

13. Jewelry organizer

An amazing multi-level organizer that can be made from several bottoms of plastic bottles strung on a metal knitting needle.

14. Pots

Containers for storing spare parts.

Capacious containers made from unnecessary plastic canisters, which are perfect for storing small parts, nails, screws and other small items, will help you clean up and maintain order in your garage.

17. Toy

Armed with scissors, felt-tip pens and paints, you can turn unnecessary plastic containers into fun toys, the process of creating which, as well as the result itself, will undoubtedly attract the attention of children.

Continuing the theme with your own hands.

If you have a child in your house, then you can make crafts from empty yogurt cups for your home, garden and vegetable garden with your own hands, as a result of which they will become an excellent option for spending time. The advantages of such products are ease of manufacture and availability of material. In addition, there is an opportunity to decorate the apartment well for some celebration or to decorate a corner in the garden, and thanks to such homemade products, children develop fine motor skills.

Pros of crafts made from cups

For kids, the process of making products from cups has many positive qualities. During this type of creativity, the child develops the following qualities:

  • independence;
  • attentiveness;
  • perseverance;
  • accuracy;
  • patience.

Spending time making such trinkets helps them acquire skills in working with glue and scissors, which will undoubtedly come in handy in kindergarten and school. The finished products will remain a pleasant childhood memory for many years.

Such homemade products have other advantages:

  • low price;
  • attractiveness of the finished craft;
  • no special tools or skills required.

Options for crafts made from plastic cups

To answer the question of what can be made from plastic yogurt cups, it is worth considering the most popular products with photo examples.

Kitty

One of the simple options for the crafts under consideration could be a kitten. With the finished trinket, children can have fun. For manufacturing you will need the following materials:

  • a small yogurt cup;
  • a glass of cottage cheese;
  • plastic eyes;
  • colored paper;
  • cardboard.

The essence of the master class is that a slit is made in a yogurt cup in such a way that legs are formed. You don’t have to do anything to the back of the container, but you need to form small curves on the sides to get cat pads. To make the tail and mustache, colored paper is used, and the parts are fixed with glue.

If you don't have plastic eyes available, you can use buttons of the appropriate size. The muzzle and ears are cut out of cardboard, followed by shaping the elements. You can secure them with plasticine. To make the end result more impressive, you can make a whole cat family.

Engine

A popular toy among children is a variety of vehicles, among which trains deserve special attention. This craft can be made quite quickly and easily. For this you will need:

  • rectangular yogurt containers;
  • plastic bottle caps;
  • double sided tape;
  • regular transparent tape;
  • cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • ruler.

The number of parts is determined by the number of trailers. To make the train more colorful, it is covered with colored foil and laminated with tape. The wheels are made of plastic covers and fixed with double-sided tape or PVA, and on the outside they are connected with a strip of cardboard 1 cm wide. In the event of a breakdown, it will be very easy to repair the toy.

The driver's booth is made from three cups: the protruding edges of two of them are cut off. Eyes are glued to the driver's head. For the chimney, use a plastic lid and a Kinder Surprise box. Connect in any convenient way, for example, plasticine. To install the pipe on the body, a stronger connection will be required: it is made with superglue. When the trailers and driver are ready, you can load passengers and begin the gameplay.

Caterpillar

In the process of making a caterpillar, the child can be told about the life of insects, as well as about turning into a butterfly. For work you will need the following materials:

  • several green yogurt cups;
  • a pair of green skewers for canapés;
  • needle and thread;
  • double sided tape;
  • glue "Moment";
  • scissors;
  • a simple pencil;
  • colored paper.

Let's look at the step-by-step process:

Cow

An excellent option to diversify your leisure time would be to make a cow from yogurt cups. For homemade products you will need the following list:

  • 2 cups;
  • cardboard;
  • glue.

Cups can be used in both small and large volumes up to 400 ml. To make the legs, cut out long strips of cardboard and fold them in half. Ears and horns are also cut out from thick paper, choosing the color at your discretion. The elements must have a small margin so that they fit into the space between the containers.
