This function is performed by the turbine at MTZ. Drawings are created by highly qualified specialists. This is why it is necessary to use high-quality sketches. It is better not to make a drawing yourself, as the design of the plow may turn out incorrect, which will negatively affect the quality of plowing.

To make plows, you must first take a sheet of thick cardboard and display a drawing on it. A template is cut out from it. Next, you need to transfer the drawing to a sheet of metal. You can use it to make a plow stainless steel or denser metal, 2-3 millimeters thick. For this purpose, a spring from a Moskvich or a disk from a circular machine can be used. The most important thing is that the drawing is correct.

Manufacturing of attachments

The single-furrow plow is the most simple model attachments, so even an inexperienced craftsman can easily do it with his own hands. This attachment consists of a blade and a share. In order to manufacture these elements, it is best to use sheet steel, the thickness of which is from 3 to 5 millimeters.

The drawing of the plow shows: 1 - ploughshare, 2 - field board, 3 - stand, 4 - slider with a heel, 5 - blade support, 6 - blade.

  1. Initially, the production of a removable share is carried out. For this purpose, it is best to use a saw blade that is mounted on a circular saw. This is due to the fact that it is made of high-strength steel.
  2. To sharpen the cutting part, it is beaten on an anvil using exactly the same method as an ordinary scythe.
  3. At the next stage, the production of a plow blade for the MTZ 80-82 tractor is carried out. This process is characterized by simplicity, which makes it easy to do it yourself. For this purpose, a pipe made of reliable metal is used. Its diameter should be 50 millimeters. The thickness of the pipe walls must be at least 5 millimeters. Used to make a blade ready-made template, according to which a blank can be made from a pipe.
  4. The manufacture of all other elements of the plow with your own hands is carried out from scrap materials.

Next, you need to use an auxiliary sheet of metal, the thickness of which is from 2 to 3 millimeters. A plowshare is installed on it. It must be secured as securely as possible to the support sheet. This can be done by welding.

The side shield is attached to the share in vertical position. For this purpose, manual arc welding. In this case, the side shield of the rack should extend beyond the plowshare by about 6-8 millimeters. Its location should be approximately 10 millimeters above the blade. Next, you need to make a continuous surface by welding the plowshare and blade. In this case, an angle of 6-8 degrees is maintained between the ploughshare blade and the blade.

Making a homemade plow for the MTZ 82 tractor is quite simple. To do this, you just need to know how to use welding. It would be best to make attachments for the 82 tractor with the help of a helper. This is explained by the fact that it will be quite difficult for one person to hold the parts of the future plow and weld them.

Features of plow adjustment

Before making adjustments, it is necessary to install lugs on the 82 tractor. This equipment is attached to the walk-behind tractor of many tractors. Its fixation is carried out using a pin. Adjusting nuts do not require clamping. This is explained by the fact that during operation it is possible to adjust the plow to the desired furrow depth.

Adjusting the plow can be easily done with your own hands. Initially, the plow support wheel is installed on a stand. When performing work in the autumn, it is necessary to maintain a stand height of 20-25 centimeters, and if in the spring - 15-20 centimeters. How much the plow will penetrate into the ground directly depends on the height of the stand.

Next, you need to adjust the angle of inclination of the attachment. For this purpose, an adjusting rod is most often used. The heel of the equipment is located parallel to the soil surface. It is in this position that the plow must be fixed. Next, you need to remove the plow from the stands.

Basic rules for manufacturing attachments

  • In order to correctly make a plow for MTZ 80-82, it is necessary to fit the moldboard to the ploughshare. It requires maximum tight joining with the canvas.
  • Correct manufacture of attachments for the MTZ 80-82 tractor requires the use of special bolts to fasten the ploughshare to the metal sheet.
  • Used to make a blade steel pipe, the diameter of which is 55-60 centimeters, and the wall thickness is 0.4-0.5 centimeters.
  • Regardless of the method of manufacturing the unit, it is necessary that its share be removable. This will allow you to sharpen it well before plowing the ground.
  • The most difficult way to make attachments with your own hands is to heat the workpiece in a forge. That is why it is best to use metal that can be cold forged.

Adjustment of the MTZ-80 PTO is carried out not only in specialized workshops, but also with your own hands. This makes the process much cheaper, especially if you have the appropriate skills and understand the features technical equipment node. Let's consider the features of this procedure.

First stage

Adjustment of MTZ-80 is carried out in the following sequence (the numbers indicated here correspond to the numbers indicated on the drawing).

Stages of work:

  • The eccentric axis is set to its original position so that the flat “B” is in a vertical position with right side. It must be secured with stopper 17 and bolt 16.
  • Next, disconnect rod 4.
  • Unscrew bolt 9, releasing spring 6. For safety reasons, when unscrewing bolt 9, make sure that glass 7 is in constant contact with seat until the spring is completely decompressed.
  • Remove the hatch cover on the rear axle, gaining access to screws 13.
  • Secure lever 11 in the neutral position using an M10*60 bolt or rod 10, 8 mm in diameter. It is inserted into the socket on the lever and the corresponding hole on the rear housing.

Further adjustment of the MTZ-80 PTO

  • The locking plate 26 is dismantled, the screws 21 are screwed in with a force of 10 kgf, after which each element is unscrewed a couple of turns.
  • The bolt rod 10 is removed, freeing the lever 11 in its original position for correction.
  • Bolt 9 must be tightened by directing its nose part into the recessed part of the glass 7 to size “A” of 26 mm.
  • Move lever 11 to the “On” position.
  • Rod 4 is installed by adjusting with analogue 15 until the swing zone of lever 1 coincides in the middle part of the control panel slot.
  • Upon completion of the work, put stopper 26 and the hatch cover in place, lock rods 4 and 15 together with bolt 9.

Peculiarities

Additionally, when adjusting the MTZ-80 PTO with your own hands, you may need to adjust the band brakes. If:

  • PTO slippage is observed.
  • When switching, control lever 1 rests on the front or back control panel slots.
  • The force on element 1 exceeds 15 kgf.
  • There is an unclear fixation of lever 1 in extreme positions or when turning it on and off.

Setting up band brakes

This operation of part of the MTZ-80 PTO adjustment is performed using the external adjustment method, namely:

  1. Set the lever 11 to the neutral position and fix it in this position by inserting the rod 10 into the provided holes.
  2. Bolt 16 is unscrewed, plate 17 is removed from the splined tail section on axis 15.
  3. Using a special key, turn the eccentric 15 clockwise until there is a suitable gap between and the working drum (you can check the position manually; if the shank does not rotate, it means the desired position has been selected).
  4. The plate and bolt are installed in place.
  5. The clamps are removed from the lever.
  6. The adjustment of the MTZ-80 PTO belts can be considered complete.

What should you pay attention to?

After making external adjustments several times, the axis 15 can take the extreme left position. This indicates that the external adjustment reserve has been used up. To normalize the situation, the eccentric is turned counterclockwise to its original position. Then the MTZ-80 PTO is adjusted in the manner indicated above.

If all manipulations are performed correctly, lever 1 is in the “On” position. and "Off" should not reach the edge of the remote control slot less than 30 millimeters, while the transition to neutral should be clear.

On some modifications of tractors, adjustment of the MTZ-80 PTO is carried out without an external adjustment mechanism, due to its absence. In this case, the operation in question is performed in a similar way as indicated above, only after repair or assembly at the factory. On models with a small cabin, the “B” index is 50-60 millimeters.

Efficiency and lack of slipping depends solely on the spring device. This is especially true for the presence of free work areas and levers that aggregate with them. PTO slippage indicates that the springs or levers encounter additional resistance when they move without sufficient lubrication in the mechanisms.

Do-it-yourself adjustment of the MTZ-80 PTO

During operation, it is necessary to carefully monitor the change in the position of the power take-off shaft lever, avoiding allowing the element to rest on the cabin floor, otherwise slipping may occur in emergency mode. Additional symptoms of the need for adjustment are considered to be an increased stroke of the control lever and increasing pressure when the “On” position is activated. and “Off”, as well as vice versa.

Adjustment of the MTZ-80 PTO is performed in the following sequence:

  • The holes on the threaded hole of the body are aligned with the analogue on the lever, after which it must be fixed with a rod.
  • Remove the cover, tighten the adjusting screws as far as possible (force - 8-10 N/m), and then loosen them by 2-3 turns.
  • Control the ease of rotation of the serviced unit by rotating the splined shank by hand.
  • Connect the rod to the lever using a finger cylindrical, they pin well.
  • Install the glass assembly with the spring into the recess of the tank until slight rotation of the locking bolt is observed. The compression force of the spring with the cup is at least 200 kgf.
  • The assembly is fixed in a compressed state using a bolt, which is screwed into a nut welded to the cover.
  • The screw is turned out until the spring mechanism cup moves freely in relation to its cover.
  • Securely fix the bolt in the lever using a locknut.
  • The rods are adjusted so that the distance from the lever to the lower edge of the cabin is 50 millimeters in the on mode.

Repair

To adjust the PTO, it is in any case repaired if there are cracks and dents on the eye, cup or shaft. Troubleshoot the problem as follows:

  • Align the shift roller and rear axle sockets using the control lever. Once the holes match, they are secured using a mounting bolt.
  • The locknut is loosened and the stop screw is screwed into the shift roller lever as far as possible.
  • The locking bolt is screwed into the glass, after which the adjusting analogue is carefully removed.
  • After this, the glass with springs is dismantled, then it is disassembled and unusable parts are replaced.

Other faults

  1. Problems with the dog clutch. In case of this malfunction, the cab is dismantled and the gear unit is disconnected from the rear axle. Then the element is replaced, since its repair does not make any sense.
  2. When is the MTZ-80 PTO turned off? Grinding - adjustment in this case is carried out with the simultaneous replacement of the ground teeth of the central gear or To do this, first remove the power take-off shaft by pressing out, after which the condition of the element is assessed. If there are faults in the form of increased gaps or loose parts, the parts are sent for repair.
  3. What should I do if the PTO shaft shank moves freely? This indicates that the fixing nut is loose. It is necessary to completely dismantle the assembly, then restore the thread and tighten the nut until it stops. If this cannot be done, the entire structure is dismantled and labor-intensive repairs are carried out.
