3 Technical requirements

3.1 Types and basic dimensions

3.1.1 Cutters should be made of types:

1 - with normal teeth:

2 - with coarse teeth.

3.1.2 Type 1 cutters are manufactured in the following versions:

1 - with a smooth cylindrical shank;

2 - with a cylindrical shank with a hatch:

3 - with a cylindrical threaded shank;

4 - with a Morse taper shank.

Type 2 cutters are manufactured only in version 4 - with a Morse taper shank.

3.1.3 The main dimensions of cutters of versions 1.2.3 must correspond to those indicated in Figure 1 and Table 1.

3.2 Features

3.2.1 Cutters should be made of high-speed steel in accordance with GOST 19265.

3.2.2 Cutters should be welded. No sinks or lack of penetration are allowed in the welding place. arson and burnout of metal, ring cracks and fistulas.

Cutters of versions 1. 2.3 for grooves with a nominal size of up to 12 mm inclusive, it is allowed to be made in one piece.

3.2.3 Shanks of welded cutters should be made of steel grade 40X in accordance with GOST 4543 or from steel grade 45 in accordance with GOST 1050.

3.2.4 The hardness of the working part of the cutters must be 63 .. .66 HRC.

The hardness of the working part of cutters made of high-speed steel with a vanadium content of at least 3% and cobalt at least 5% should be higher by 1 - 2 HRC units.

The hardness of the cylindrical shank of solid (non-seary) cutters should be 37 ... .57 HRC.

The hardness of the cylindrical shank of welded cutters in the area of ​​at least V 2 length from the end of the shank and the end part of the tapered shank should be 32 .. .52 HRC.

3.2.5 There should be no decarburized layer and places with low hardness on the working surface of the cutters.

3.2.6 On the surface of the cutters there should be no cracks, traces of corrosion: on the ground surfaces - rough, chipped places: on the cutting edges - nicks, the clamp: on the shank and center holes - burrs.

3.2.7 The parameters of the grouting of the surfaces of the cutters in accordance with GOST 2789 should be, μm, not more than:

Rz 3.2- for front and back surfaces of teeth:

3.2.6 On the back surface of the cutter teeth along the cutting edges, a cylindrical tape with a width of not more than 0.05 mm is allowed.

3.2.9 Limit deviations of the sizes of cutters should be. mm. no more:

3.2.10 The tolerance of the radial runout of the main cutting edges of the milling cutters' teeth relative to the shank axis must be. mm. no more:

3.2.14 Marking

On the neck, phrases should be clearly marked:

Manufacturer's trademark;

The nominal size of the groove;

Steel grade of the working part.

It is allowed to mark the shank, provided that its geometric shapes are preserved, as well as to make a recess on the shank for marking.

3.2.15 Transport marking and marking of consumer containers - in accordance with GOST 18088.

3.2.16 Packing - in accordance with GOST 18088.

4 Acceptance rules

4.1 Acceptance of cutters - in accordance with GOST 23726.

4.2 Periodic tests of cutters for the average durability period are carried out once every three years, for the specified durability period - once a year. The tests are carried out on at least five cutters of any standard size.

4.3 It is allowed to carry out tests at the consumer.

5 Methods of inspection and testing

5.1 The appearance of the cutters is controlled visually using a magnifying glass LP-1-4 according to GOST 25706.

5.2 The hardness of the cutters is controlled in accordance with GOST 9013.

5.3 When controlling the dimensional parameters of cutters, methods and means of measurement are used, the error of which should be no more than:

The values ​​specified in GOST 8.051 - when measuring linear dimensions:

35% tolerance for the checked angle "p angular"

25% of the tolerance for the checked parameter - when controlling the shape and location of surfaces.

5.4 The roughness of the surfaces of the cutters is checked by comparison with reference samples in accordance with GOST 9378 or with exemplary tools having roughness parameters no more than those specified in 3.2.7.

5.5 Tests of cutters should be carried out on milling machines for general and special purposes. corresponding to the standards of accuracy and rigidity established for them.

5.6 Mills of types 1, 2, versions 1, 2, 3 should be tested on workpieces made of gray cast iron grade SCh18 in accordance with GOST 1412 with a hardness of 180 ... 220 HB: milling cutters of type 2, version 4 - on workpieces made of steel grade 45 in accordance with GOST 1050 with a hardness of 197 ... 207 HB. A rectangular groove is pre-milled in the blanks. equal in width to the diameter of the neck (d t * 2) mm with an allowance along the bottom of the groove 1 - 2 mm.

5.7 When working on steel, a 5% (by weight) solution of emulsol in water with a flow rate of 6 - 8 l / min is used as a cutting fluid: when working on cast iron, it should be cooled with an air stream that removes chips from the cutting zone.

5.8 Tests of cutters for serviceability, average and established periods of durability should be carried out in the modes specified in Table 4.

5.9 The total milling length during the performance test should be at least 500 mm. _

1. TYPES, DESIGN AND DIMENSIONS

1.1. Cutters must be made of two types:

2 - cutters with a tapered shank for grooves with dimensions a from 6 to 54 mm in two versions:

Operating conditions for T-slot cutters

1. Mills are designed for processing T-shaped grooves on machines that meet the established standards of accuracy and rigidity.

2. The accessory tool must meet the specified accuracy standards.

3. Processed material:

for cutters of types 1 and 2 of version 1 - gray cast iron СЧ 18 in accordance with GOST 1412 -79 with hardness HB 170 ... 200;

for cutters of type 2, version 2 - steel 45 in accordance with GOST 1050-74 with a hardness not exceeding HB 197.

4. Cutting conditions must correspond to those specified in clause 4.4 and in table. 3 of this standard.

5. A 5% solution of emulsol in water (by weight) with a flow rate of 6-8 l / min is used as a lubricating-cooling liquid.

For cutters of version 1, cooling is carried out with an air jet.

6. In the workpieces, a rectangular groove is pre-milled, equal in width to the neck diameter di + 2 mm, leaving a 1-2 mm allowance along the bottom of the groove.

7. The specified operating conditions are designed for a guaranteed durability between regrinds - 60 minutes.

4. CONTROL METHODS

4.1. Tests of cutters should be carried out on milling machines for general and special purposes, corresponding to the standards of accuracy and rigidity established for them.

4.2. Cutters of types 1 and 2 of version 1 should be tested on billets of kz gray cast iron grade SCh 18 according to GOST 1412! -85 with a hardness of 180 ... 220 HB, cutters of type 2 of execution 2 - on blanks of steel grade 45 according to GOST 1050 "-74 with hardness 197 ... 207 HB.

In the workpieces, a rectangular groove is pre-milled, equal in width to the diameter of the neck (rfi + 2) mm, leaving a 1-2 mm allowance along the bottom of the groove.

4.3. Tests of cutters for operability, average and established periods of durability should be carried out on (modes specified in table. 4.

The permissible deviation of the value of the cutting speed from that indicated in the table. 4 should be within TO% when the V * S value changes within 10%.

4.4. The total milling length during the performance test must be at least 500 mm.

4.5. After the performance tests, there should be no chipping and other defects on the cutting edges of the cutters. After testing, the cutters must be suitable for further work.

4.7. When working on steel as a lubricant coolant

4.3. Tests of cutters for operability, average in the established periods of durability should be carried out on (modes specified in table. 4.

4.7. When working on steel, a 5% solution of emulsol in water (by weight) with a flow rate of 6-8 l / min should be used as a lubricant - cooling liquid; when working on cast iron - cool with an air stream that removes chips from the cutting zone.
