Before presenting to your attention the calendar of memorable, anniversary and significant dates for 2017, we would like to tell you about what these important significant dates are?

What dates are called anniversary and memorable

In relation to a specific person, the definition anniversary dates it is quite understandable: human life is measured in decades, therefore anniversaries are usually called dates ending in 0. Also, anniversaries include "half" dates, that is, those that end in 5. On a national scale, the concept of "anniversary" can vary. Surprisingly, there are no rules for what exactly should be called an anniversary, this is often determined intuitively. Approximate dates, as a rule, are not marked, but specific dates can end with 0, 5 or just significant numbers, for example, 111 years from the moment of the development of a building, structure, city or 1999 days from the date of opening something ...

Memorable dates call the days that influenced the fate of specific historical figures, or those in which interesting facts occurred that remained in human memory and played an important role in the formation of cultural, historical or other values (see).

Significant events and the days are determined by various historical events that influenced the course of the history of any person, country, whole people or even the entire planet.

Our world does not stand still. Every year we have something to remember, something to thank and something to be sad about. And every year many significant dates are celebrated, which, in one way or another, are associated with the development of mankind. It is necessary and important to remember them, because without this our history would have sunk into oblivion. There can be no future without the past, therefore, memorable dates should be remembered and honored.

Mentality, politics, culture, sports, people, science - all this inevitably changed over time, new customs and traditions were added, we won battles and wars, our scientists discovered something new, inventions appeared that could surprise and shock ...

And now this is all - already history, which must be remembered. It is clear that it is impossible to always keep everything in mind, so our site will tell you which significant and memorable dates in 2017 to be noted for Russia. Some past events will echo in the heart with joy, others will cause far from cheerful emotions. But they are also a small part of our lives.
