How is it possible that Allah loves you. Love for Allah - Al-Fatava Forum. Love for righteous people

Some believe that loving Allah Almighty means nothing other than following His commands and worshiping Him. There are also those who claim that it is impossible to love Allah Almighty, since He has no image, we do not see Him or hear Him. But if we turn to the Koran and Hadith, then both of these sources clearly inform that Allah Almighty loves His servants and the slaves love Him. For example, the 54th verse of Surah Al-Maidat says (meaning): “And Allah loves them, and they love Allah.”

The 165th verse of Surah Al-Bakarat says (meaning): “ And those who believe, they love Allah more ».

And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) told us that love for Allah Almighty and His Messenger is the basis of iman - true faith. Abu Razim al ‘Uqayli, may Allah be pleased with him, asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “O Messenger of Allah, what is iman?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “Iman is such love for Allah and His Messenger that surpasses love for everything else.” Another hadith says: “ None of you will believe until he loves Allah and His Messenger more than anything else. ».

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Mus'ab ibn 'Umair, may Allah be pleased with him, dressed in sheep skin. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Look at this man, whose heart Allah has illuminated with nur. I saw him when he lived with his parents, he ate the best, drank the best, wore the best. Then love for Allah and His Messenger brought him to the state in which you see him.”

Mus'ab ibn 'Umair grew up in a wealthy family, his parents spoiled him and did not deny him anything. And when he renounced his parents’ religion, that is, paganism, and accepted Islam, they kicked him out of the house. But he did not notice the worldly difficulties that followed due to great love to Allah and His Messenger. He died at Gazavat at Uhud, defending the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

In short, both the Koran and the Hadith clearly testify that the good slaves who believe love Allah Almighty.

The statement that love for Allah has no other meaning than the manifestation of submission to Him is also untrue, since submission to Allah is the fruit on the tree of love for Him. To whatever extent a slave loves Allah, to the same extent he submits to Him.

The statement that it is impossible to love Allah because we do not see or hear Him is also untrue. Those who are able to think, comprehend reality, love and receive pleasure only through the senses are people of great low level. People with crystal hearts, high aspirations, high intelligence and generosity do not pay special attention for sensual pleasures. These people prefer internal love to external love. For example, we really love the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), imams, awliyas, sheikhs, although among them there may be those who are not very beautiful in appearance. Nevertheless, we love them all because of their spiritual beauty, because of their justice, intelligence, patience, meekness, fear of God, desire to benefit others, because of other similar moral and spiritual qualities.

Allah Almighty has created several reasons for which a person can love.

Firstly, Allah Almighty instills in a person love for himself. A person loves himself, desires eternal existence and everything that contributes to eternal existence. For example, a person loves his life, food, drink, his body, wants to be healthy, etc.

Secondly, Allah Almighty has instilled in a person love for someone who does something good for him. The hadith reported by Abu Nu'aim, Bayhaqi and Ibnu Jawzi says: “Hearts are created out of love for those who are kind to them.”

Third, Allah Almighty has instilled in man a love for those who do good for people in general, although this good does not concern him. For example, if we hear about someone who lived a long time ago or lives far from us, on the other side of the world, that he is generous, does good to people, brings benefits to them, then we feel sympathy, love for this person, although his goodness is to us and does not concern, and there is not even any hope for it.

Fourth, Allah Almighty has instilled in man a love for beauty, for everything beautiful. There are two types of beauty: external beauty, visible with the eyes, and internal, invisible beauty, contemplated by the mind. A person loves both and receives pleasure from contemplating both types of beauty, but highly spiritual, highly intelligent people prefer internal, spiritual beauty to external beauty.

Even one of the reasons listed is enough for the emergence of sympathy and love for a person.

If you think carefully about what has been said above, you can conclude that only Allah Almighty is worthy of true love conditioned by these reasons, for these reasons are real only in relation to Him, and in relation to everyone else there are only the names of these reasons, and the reasons themselves are missing.

Let's look at these reasons separately and find out who really deserves true love.

A person’s love for his existence and for everything that helps to maintain this existence - if we reflect on this reason for the manifestation of love by a person, it turns out that a person should love Allah more than his own existence, for his existence was created by Allah. Everything that contributes to human existence is also created by Allah. Human existence is not real, that is, it is not self-sufficient, it is conditioned by the will of Allah Almighty. The existence of Allah is absolute, it does not depend on anyone or anything and, therefore, only it is real on the scale of eternity.

Therefore, for this reason, a person cannot help but love Allah, because He created man, and the eternity of man’s existence depends on Him.

The next reason is a person’s tendency to love someone who is kind to him. If we consider this reason, it again becomes clear that in reality only Allah Almighty is worthy of love, for from the moment a person is born until his death, every moment Allah continuously provides him with His benefits, visible and invisible, common to everyone and personal to him. The benefits of all people taken together, compared to the benefits of Allah, will be less than a drop compared to the sea. After all, whoever does any good, it comes from Allah, for both this good itself and the people who did it were created by Allah, and Allah prompted people to do this good.

Next is a person’s tendency to love someone who is kind, merciful to people in general and brings benefit to them, even if this goodness does not concern him. And from this point of view, only Allah Almighty is truly worthy of love, for the good and benefit brought by all people taken together, compared with the good and benefit from Allah Almighty, is less than the share of one ray in everything sunlight or more than a drop in the bucket. In fact, good does not come from people at all, since all good and the people who do this good were created by Allah Almighty, and He Himself prompted them to do good. Therefore, for this reason, He alone is worthy of love.

The next reason is the human tendency to love beauty, everything beautiful. There are two types of beauty: external, visible with the eyes and internal, spiritual, contemplated by the mind. External beauty is understandable even for narrow-minded, narrow-minded people, and even for children, but spiritual beauty is comprehended only by people with a perfect mind and a pure heart. This is why people with perfect intelligence love the prophets, awliyas, imams who lived in former times, because of their inner beauty, without even imagining what they looked like on the outside.

Inner, hidden beauty includes many things, but it all ultimately comes down to three categories: science (knowledge), power and absence of flaws. We love prophets, angels, imams, and other ulama because they have more knowledge about Allah, His greatness, and His universe than other people; they have a talent that others do not possess, a great gift that allows them to follow the path of Truth and instruct others on this path; they are also pure from passions, animal instincts, bad qualities, they are ennobled by the best qualities.

Now let us compare the knowledge, power and purity from shortcomings inherent in Allah Almighty with the similar qualities of the most perfect people which Allah has endowed them with.

All the knowledge that Allah has endowed on the angels, prophets, messengers, scientists, awliyas and all other people, as well as the jinn, is insignificant, unreal compared to the knowledge of Allah. Even if we consider this knowledge of creations to be real, then Allah Almighty has endowed His creations with it.

The Koran says that if all the seas and oceans become ink, all the trees become pencils and with their help they begin to write down the knowledge of Allah Almighty, then the ink will dry up and the pencils will be exhausted, but the knowledge of Allah (the Words of God) will remain unwritten, for there is no limit to it .

Therefore, in reality, only Allah alone is worthy of love because of existing knowledge.

As for the power and might of creations, they, in comparison with the power and might of Allah Almighty, are as if non-existent, that is, the power of creations is not real. Only Allah Almighty has real power, and creations have the power that Allah has endowed them with, and He can deprive them of this at any time. It is impossible to have power in any other way except from Allah. That is, if we proceed from power, then even then only Allah Almighty is worthy of love and no one else.

If the reason for love is the absence of shortcomings, then in this case only Allah alone is worthy of love, since only Allah alone is pure from all shortcomings. Everything that exists, except Allah Himself, needs Allah. Can there be a greater lack than needing someone or something?

Everything that exists except Allah has no power over itself, but Allah has power over everything that exists. If someone is pure from the shortcomings characteristic of creations, then who made him so? Of course, Allah Almighty.

Conclusion: true beauty, true perfection, true knowledge and omnipotence are the personal attributes of Allah Almighty, inherent only to Him alone, and, in reality, only He is worthy of love.

All this does not mean that one should not love the highly revered Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), other prophets, angels, awliya and other righteous people. They should be loved because Allah Almighty loves them.

Anyone who does not love Allah even a little cannot be a Muslim; the level of faith of a Muslim depends on the degree of love for Allah. Therefore, we should try to constantly increase our love for Allah Almighty, being diligent in the ways of achieving it.

Let us list some ways to increase love for Allah Almighty.

To increase love for Allah Almighty, firstly, one should remove love for worldly things from the heart. Imam al-Shafi'i, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “If anyone claims that he loves both Allah and this world, then he is a liar.”

This does not mean that you should give up everything worldly. This means that it is not appropriate to rejoice because of worldly goods and to be sad when deprived of them, and thoughts should not always be occupied with worldly things. Let the hands and body of a person engage in worldly affairs, while having good and pure intentions, relying on Allah, without causing harm to others, not to the detriment of the worship of Allah and observing the framework of Sharia.

In a heart always busy worldly affairs, there is no room left for Allah, because the Koran says that Allah did not create two hearts for man.

The next way to increase love for Allah is to know Him, because it is impossible to love someone you do not know. Having known the greatness, perfection, omnipotence and other qualities of Allah, a person cannot help but love Him. We learn about the greatness, inaccessibility, wisdom, omnipotence of Allah Almighty by seeing amazing world around us and reflecting on all this. Having cognized creation, we cognize the Creator, and having cognized the Creator, we gain love for Him.

Those who observe the world and at the same time claim that there is no Allah are doubly ignorant people. One ignorance is ignorance of Allah, the second ignorance is the assertion that there is no Allah only because they themselves do not know Him. After all, in man himself there are thousands of facts testifying to the existence of the Creator.

The Qur'an says (meaning): " And there are signs on earth for those who know, and even in yourselves. Can't you see? »

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Reflect on the creation of Allah.” He also said that an hour of reflection better than the year worship, because the more we reflect, the more we come to know Allah Almighty. The more we get to know Him, the more we love Him. How love more Him, the more carefully we follow the path indicated by Him. The more carefully and strictly we follow the path indicated by Him, the more happiness we will find in both worlds.

Another way to increase love for Allah is to constantly remember His mercy and blessings. Usually we love someone who is merciful, kind to us, and gives us blessings, and this love is greater, the greater the goodness shown to us. Therefore, one should know and often reflect on the infinite variety and greatness of Allah’s blessings.

The hadith says: " Love Allah, because He is beneficent (bestows you with blessings) "(Imam at-Tirmidhi).

There is no limit to the blessings of Allah that He bestows on us: they come down from the sky, they come from the earth, they are found in ourselves - a person drowns in the blessings of Allah.

The next way to increase love for Allah is to remember Him often, because if we often remember the greatness and merits of someone, we will definitely love him, even if his goodness does not concern us.

Also, a way to increase love for Allah is to frequently read salawat to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and study his life. After all, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) brought to people the knowledge of the greatness of Allah, His wonderful qualities and names, and taught people the worship of Allah.

Another way to increase love for Allah is to make a dua (supplication) to increase this love. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) always asked: “Oh, my Allah, give me love for You, surpassing love for everything else!”

The Honorable Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also addressed Allah with the words: “Oh, my Allah, I ask You for love for You, love for everyone who loves You, and love for all deeds that bring me closer to You.”

Here are some signs of love for Allah:

The desire to meet Allah. It doesn't happen that you love someone but don't want to meet them. The companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), dying, rejoiced, eager to participate in ghazavat in the hope of earning the death of the martyr, for they sought to meet Allah.

Love for everything that Allah loves, and dislike for everything that He does not love; doing everything that Allah commands and abstaining from everything that He warns against. After all, a lover shows submission to his beloved.

Constant remembrance of Allah. After all, a person often remembers what he loves and thinks about it, that is, remembering increases love, and love leads to frequent remembering.

Desire to be alone. He who loves to communicate alone with Allah gets up at night when people are sleeping, remembers Allah, asks Him, turns to Him, prays, reads Him Holy Bible- Koran.

The one who loves Allah is not overcome by sadness because of what he has not received in the world, because of what has been missed or lost. Losing everything is nothing, as long as he does not lose Allah.

Showing patience in troubles and misfortunes from Allah.

Showing mercy to all people.

Love for the Holy Quran is also a sign of love for Allah Almighty, since the Quran is the Speech of Allah.

A sign of love for Allah Almighty is also love for those whom He loves, that is, prophets, awliya, etc. How, for example, can you love Allah and not love the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), whom He loves most?

One of the signs of love for Allah Almighty is also following the Sunnah of His Messenger. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran (meaning): “ Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, and then Allah will love you and forgive your sins ».

In short, fulfilling all the requirements of the Muslim religion and demonstrating good behavior are all fruits on the tree of love for Allah, these are signs of love for Him.

I start with the name of Allah. All praise belongs to Allah, may blessings and greetings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and companions! May Allah guide us all to what He loves and what He will be pleased with!

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says:

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يكون الله ورسوله أحب إليه مما سواهما ‏‏

« None of you will believe (meaning will not believe true faith), until Allah and his Messenger are more beloved to him than everything else "(Imam Bukhari).

Another hadith says that one of the companions asked the Messenger of Allah what is faith (iman)? (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied:

قال أبو رزين العقيلي‏:‏ يا رسول الله ما الإيمان قال‏:‏ ‏"‏ أن يكون الله ورسوله أحب إليك مما سواهما

« Faith is when Allah and his Messenger are loved more than anything else ».

Every Muslim should strive to find love for Allah, since our faith depends on it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) often addressed Allah with the following prayer:

وقد قال نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم في دعائه‏:‏ ‏"‏ اللهم ارزقني حبك وحب ما يقربني إلى حبك واجعل حبك أحب إلي من الماء البارد

« O Allah, grant me love for You, as well as love for everything that brings me closer to love for You, and make love for you more beloved to me than cool water ».

Love for Allah is the highest degree of all degrees, and all other degrees are the fruits of love for Allah.

For example, very high degree in religion is asceticism. The hadith says: “Leave the worldly, and Allah will love you.”

The hadith says: “ The ascetic (who has renounced the worldly) has a resting heart and body, but the one who desires the worldly is in anxiety and sadness. Love for the worldly is the basis of all evils, and rejection of it is the basis of all blessings and obedience "(see in the book "Ibn Abu Dunya fi Zammi Dunya", No. 131).

Each of us knows how difficult it is to renounce worldly goods. But if a person’s heart is filled with love for Allah, then this does not present much difficulty for him. This is evidenced by the words of Abubakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him).

He says:

وقال أبو بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه من ذاق من خالص محبة الله تعالى شغله ذلك عن طلب الدنيا وأوحشه عن جميع البشر‏.‏

« Who will experience true love to Allah, it will distract him from the desire for worldly things... »

He who loves Allah is an ascetic, even if all the riches of this world belong to him, since love for Allah will not leave room in his heart for worldly things.

Abu Sulayman ad-Darani said:

وقال أبو سليمان الداراني‏:‏ إن من خلق الله خلقاً ما يشغلهم الجنان وما فيها من النعيم عنه فكيف يشتغلون عنه بالدنيا‏.‏

« Among the slaves of Allah there are those who are not distracted from Him (Allah) even by Paradise and what is in it. How will they be distracted from Him by worldly things! »

What are the signs loving Allah and how can we find love for Allah?

1. The first sign of a loving Allah is following the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) .

It says: " Say to Muhammad: “If you love Allah, then follow me, and then Allah will love you and forgive your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful "(Surah Al Imran, verse 31).

Junaid al-Baghdadi said: “No one has known or loved sincere love Allah except with the help of Allah, and the path leading to this love is following the path of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).”

A person who claims to love, but does not follow the path of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), is a liar and a hypocrite, because if he loved Allah, he would follow his commands.

The Almighty, as we saw from the previous verse, commands us to follow the path of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and makes it clear to us that following the path of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is evidence of love for Allah and a means leading to love for Allah.

To follow the path of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), first of all, you need to know about the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his deeds and for this, read books about the biography of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), about his characteristics and moral qualities.

2. Another sign of a loving Allah is remembering Him often .

The hadith says:

قال صلي الله عليه وسلم فمن أحب شيئا أكثر من ذكره بقلبه ولسانه

« If someone loves something, he often remembers it with his heart and tongue ».

If a person wants to know what his love for Allah is, then let him look into his heart and think how often he remembers Allah.

If a person loves Allah, then he remembers him often with both heart and tongue. Moreover, if a person loves Allah with true love, then even if he wants to, he will not be able to forget about Him.

Just as remembrance of Allah is the fruit of love for Him, it (remembrance of Allah) is also a means of increasing love for Allah in the heart. If a person wants to gain love for Allah, he must be diligent in remembering Allah, and then Allah will illuminate his heart with love for Him.

3. The third sign of love for Allah is love for those who love Allah . This can also help you gain love for Allah.

The hadith says: " The best of you are those who remember Allah when they see them. ».

Sufyan al-Sawriy said: “ Whoever loves the one whom Allah loves, Allah will love him; whoever exalts the one whom Allah exalts, Allah will exalt him too».

Undoubtedly, the people most relevant to these hadiths are spiritual mentors, that is, Sufi sheikhs. From history we know that throughout the history of Islam, after the time of the Companions, those who sought to know Allah, including the greatest scholars of the Ummah, came under the guidance of spiritual mentors.

Anyone who wants to know Allah and feel true love for Allah in his heart must, following the example of the scholars of Islam, find a spiritual mentor and come under his guidance.

There is no doubt that every Muslim has love for his Lord. And how can you not love the Creator, who created man from clay, gave him the best of forms, breathed life into him, endowed him with reason and taught him everything that is necessary in this and future life. How can one not love the Creator of heaven and earth, the Creator of day and night, the Creator of everything living and inanimate, of everything that serves man in realizing the great mission for which he was created.

Moreover, love for the Almighty is something without which a person simply cannot be called a Muslim, because it is it that elevates him above everything that opposes this love.

Love for Allah gives a person the meaning of life, makes him spiritually strong, mentally beautiful, morally stable and physically healthy. It is she who determines his way of life, which is fundamentally different from the idea of him of those who are far from this love.

And, of course, every servant of Allah who loves his Lord has the right to hope that the Almighty also loves him, because this is the highest good that a Muslim should strive for in this and the other world.

But it is possible that some Muslims do not even suspect that the Almighty and Almighty Allah has the inherent quality of loving his slaves, and if they know about it, they think that it is very difficult to earn this love.

And if, indeed, there are such Muslims, then for their sake it is worth dwelling on this issue in more detail. After all, one who does not know about the love of the Lord and does not strive to deserve it cannot truly enjoy the fruits of this religion. And all this despite the fact that a Muslim, having loved the Almighty, believed in Him, and submitted to Him, has already acquired a great benefit, which not everyone is destined to receive. But this benefit is not the limit. After all, loving Allah is one thing, but loving Him and being loved by Him is completely different.

And you can be convinced of this by turning to the wise Quran and the purest Sunnah of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

The Almighty said: (Say: “If you love Allah, then follow me, and then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for Allah is Forgiving, Merciful). (Family of Imran:31).

In this verse holy quran The Almighty turns to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying to him: (Say: “If you love Allah, then follow me...), that is, “say, O Muhammad, to those who believe that if they are sincere in their love for Allah Almighty, let them follow you in everything, and this will be proof that their love is sincere.”

This verse is called the verse of testing by scholars. After all, it specifies the condition for testing the love of the servant of Allah for his Lord. And this condition is for a Muslim to follow everything that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came with, while diligently doing everything that he ordered to do and avoiding what was forbidden to him.

And the reward for the one who successfully passes this test is nothing more than the love of the Almighty for him and His forgiveness of his sins, because the Almighty said: (...and then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for Allah is Forgiving, Merciful).

So, in order to earn the love of the Lord, a Muslim must follow what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came with, and this means that he must follow the great Koran and the purest Sunnah. And then one of the fruits of the Almighty’s love for His servant will be His forgiveness of his sins.

O All-Forgiving One, forgive us our sins, for You are Forgiving and Merciful.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“If Allah loves one of His slaves, He turns to Jibril, saying: “Truly, Allah loves such and such, so love him too!” - after which Jibril begins to love him. And Jibril turns to the inhabitants of heaven with the words: “Truly, Allah loves such and such, so you too will love him!” - and the inhabitants of heaven begin to love him, and then they begin to give him a good welcome on earth.” Hadith agreed.

Isn't it true, what a wonderful hadith?! Just think, the Great Allah, addressing Jibril, speaks about one of us, while calling him by name, that He loves him.

Oh, All-Hearing and All-Seeing, how I wish that the name You called was my name, and that I was the slave whom You loved.

Without a doubt, everyone who read or heard this hadith said these words. After all, this is the very good that was mentioned above, the very good that is worth striving for.

But can a Muslim know or feel the love of the Almighty?! And in order to answer this question, you need to pay attention to last part hadith:

“... and then they begin to give him a good reception on the ground.” This means one of the fruits of the fact that the Almighty loves one of us is “ good welcome on earth“, that is, if we feel that we are treated well, that we are respected and loved (of course, by those who, in turn, love Allah themselves), this is one of the signs that the Almighty loves us.

What does the love of Allah mean? Are there other fruits of this love? This is stated in the following hadith.

It is reported from the words of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Truly, Allah Almighty said: “I will declare war on whoever is at enmity with those who are close to Me! The most beloved of all, whatever My servant does in an effort to get closer to Me, is for Me what I have charged him with as a duty, and My servant will try to get closer to Me by doing nawafil (that is, doing voluntary forms of worship) until I I will love him, and when I love him, I will become his hearing with which he will hear, and his sight with which he will see, and his hand with which he will grasp, and his foot with which he will walk, and if he asks Me for something, I will give it to him, and if he turns to me for protection, I will protect him! The hadith was narrated by al-Bukhariy.

Please note that in this hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) conveys to us the words of Allah. Such a hadith is called “hadith qudsiy”, that is, “sacred hadith”.

And in this “sacred hadith” Allah Almighty says: “I will declare war on those who are at enmity with those who are close to Me!...” Just think about it, Almighty and Almighty Allah, the Lord of heaven and earth, will declare war on anyone who is at enmity with a person close to Him.

The question involuntarily arises: who is this “person close to Allah” and how can one become close to Allah?

"Close to Allah." In Arabic it sounds like "Wali-Allah" singular and “avliya-Allah” in the plural. So who is “Wali-Allah”? Maybe this is a student studying in an Islamic madrasah? Or maybe a famous mullah? Or is it a scientist-mufti? The answer to this question can be found in the wise Koran.

Allah Almighty said: (Indeed, those close to Allah do not know fear and do not grieve; they are the ones who believed and were God-fearing)(Yunus: 62-63).

And here is the answer to the question: (...they who believed and feared God). This means that any of us can be a person close to Allah. And Allah does not look at how we dress, how much money we have, what position in society we occupy, what language we speak, He does not look at our acquaintances and our capabilities, but the Almighty looks at our hearts and how sincere we are God-fearing. This is the measure by which Allah evaluates a believer. And the higher the degree of his fear of God, the closer he is to Allah Almighty.

The Almighty said: (Indeed, the most revered among you before Allah is the most God-fearing) (Rooms: 13).

O Most Generous and Most Just, fill our hearts with fear of God and make us among those honored and loved by You.

And in the next part of the hadith, Allah Almighty says: “...The most beloved of all, whatever My servant does in an effort to get closer to Me, is for Me what I have made him a duty.”

In this part of the hadith, the Almighty directly indicates that of all the deeds of a slave striving to get closer to him, Allah first of all loves those that he has made obligatory on him, that is, five obligatory fard prayers, obligatory zakat alms, obligatory fasting per month Ramadan, Hajj to Mecca, for those who have such an opportunity. The Almighty called these types of worship the most beloved of all.

The Almighty further says: “... and My servant will try to draw closer to Me, making nawafil(that is, doing voluntary forms of worship, )until I love him. That is, despite the fact that the actions that the Almighty has made His servant obligated to do are His favorite, Allah makes it clear that in order to earn His love, the servant of Allah should not stop there, because in addition to the obligatory ones, there are also voluntary types of worship , which are called “nawafil”. It is they who determine the degree of the slave’s desire to earn the love of his Lord. After all, everyone must do the obligatory, but only the one who sincerely wants to be close to the Almighty and loved by Him can do the voluntary. At the same time, the Almighty indicates that voluntary forms of worship can be started only after the obligatory ones have been completed. And if the servant of Allah is persistent in his quest and proves the sincerity of his desire to earn the love of the Almighty, then Allah the Almighty will reward him with His love, because He said: “... and My servant will try to get closer to Me, making nawafil, until I love him... "

And then the Almighty continues: “... when I love him, I will become his hearing, with which he will hear, and his sight, with which he will see, and his hand with which he will grab, and his foot with which he will walk, and if he asks Me for something), I will grant it to him, and if he turns to me for protection, I will protect him!

And this part of the hadith can be called the harvest of the fruits of Allah’s love. After all, He the Almighty mentions here those benefits that He is ready to bestow on His servant who has earned His love.

Enumerating these benefits, the Almighty says: “...I will become his ear, through which he will hear,...”, that is, the Almighty will completely cover with His attention the hearing of His slave, while blocking his access to everything that He forbade listening to and that which is disgusting to Him (such as gossip, slander, etc.), thus allowing the slave To hear for oneself only what is praiseworthy and beloved, and excluding the possibility of sinning through hearing. Isn't this a blessing?

Further the Almighty says: “ ...and his sight, through which he will see...", that is, the Almighty, having completely embraced the vision of His servant, will deprive him of the opportunity to see what was forbidden to look at. And this is also a benefit that Allah is ready to bestow upon those who deserve His love.

The following blessings are hidden in the words of the Almighty: “...and his hand with which he will grab, and his foot with which he will walk...” that is, for the hands and feet of the servant of Allah, the possibility of sinning will also be completely excluded.

Next He says: “...and if he asks Me for anything, I will give it to him, and if he turns to me for protection, I will protect him!” And so, after Allah the Almighty bestows upon a person loved and close to Him by blocking his access to everything sinful, He Almighty is ready to grant him everything whatever he asks for. Just imagine - “everything he asked for”...

In addition, the Almighty is ready to protect him at his first request for this.

O Richest One, no blessings can compare with those that You promised to Your servants who deserved this great love. But if I, Your servant, knew that You, O Most Generous One, loved me, would there still be a need for me to ask for anything else? O Almighty, strengthen our faith, strengthen our fear of God and fill us with the ranks of those whom Thy love has made happy! Amen.

Fidail hazrat Yarullin.

Modesty, bashfulness, and shyness are the qualities of a person that Allah loves. These are the qualities of all prophets and righteous people, the qualities of iman, which call for the abandonment of sins and for doing good. Shyness comes from iman, and iman will be in heaven. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

الحياء لا يأتي إلا بخير

« Nothing but good comes from shyness "(Bukhari, Muslim).

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said:

الحياء من الإيمان

« Shyness is from Iman "(Bukhari, Muslim).

Shyness is keeping oneself away from anything obscene. This quality is the quality of Allah. The hadith says:

إن الله حيي كريم يستحي من عبده، إذا رفع يديه إليه أن يردهما صفرا

« Allah is ashamed of His servant, who raised his hands and asked Him to lower his hands empty. "(i.e., he is embarrassed not to respond to his call) (Abu Dawud).

Our noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was very shy. If a person is not ashamed of either Allah or people, then he is like an animal. Eat interesting statement on this occasion Mustafa al-Sabai (may Allah have mercy on him): “ When your nafs desires to commit a sin, remind him (the nafs) of Allah; if he is not ashamed, then remind him of people; if even then you are not ashamed, then know that you have turned into a donkey».

We really need this quality. Scientists say that modesty is one of the highest and most worthy qualities, since various virtues emanate from it. Children do good to their parents out of embarrassment, the owner of the house exalts the guest out of embarrassment; Therefore, when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, he replied:

إن لكل دين خلقا، وخلق الإسلام الحياء

« Every religion has its own trait, the trait of Islam is modesty. ».

If a person loses modesty, then he will do stupid things, disgrace not only himself, but also his relatives.

The most worthy modesty is manifested before Allah in three cases:

1. Showing modesty when Allah replaces your bad deeds with good ones, realizing that we do not praise Allah properly; He bestows blessings on us, but we distance ourselves from Him through our own sins.

2. Maintain modesty before Allah, do not get irritated when trouble befalls you, forgetting all the previous goodness that Allah gave you. Imam Alusi (may Allah have mercy on him) relates the story that once, when Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) lost his property, his wife told him: “You are the prophet of Allah; if you ask the Almighty to take away trouble from you, then Allah will accept.” Ayub asked: “How long did we live safe?” She replied: “Sixty years.” And then Ayub said: “ I am embarrassed to ask Allah to take away the trouble without having lived in trouble as long as I have lived in prosperity. "(Tafsir Alusi, No. 17/80).

3. Adhere to modesty, maintaining reason, not thinking about sins, and keeping yourself away from forbidden food.

Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

استحيوا من الله حق الحياء؟ قالوا: وكيف نستحي من الله حق الحياء؟ قال:أن تحفظ الرأس وما وعى والبطن وما حوى، وأن تذكر الموت والبلى، ومن فعل ذلك فقد استحيا من الله حق الحياء

« Be ashamed of Allah in proper form " In response to this they asked: “ Like this? "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: " To be properly ashamed of Allah means to protect the head and all other organs of the body, it means to remember death and our corruption in the earth; whoever does this will be modesty in its proper form "(at-Tirmidhi).

The manifestation of modesty among society consists in preserving the language from the forbidden, in uttering only good things or in silence. The hadith says:

من كان يؤمن بالله وباليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت

« He who believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment, let him speak good or remain silent ».

Shyness should be shown in front of parents and scientists. One day Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a boy who was walking with a man, and he asked the boy: “ Who is he to you? "The boy replied: " Its my father " Abu Hurayrah said: " Listen to him, don't walk in front of him, don't sit in front of him and don't call him by name. ».

Regarding modesty in front of the Ulama, the hadith says:

العلماء ورثة الأنبياء

« Scientists are the heirs of the prophets "(Abu-Daoud, at-Tirmidhi).

May Allah not deprive us of this wonderful quality! Amine!

Only a very few righteous servants of Allah are awarded the love of Allah. If Allah loves you, do not ask about the benefits that you will achieve and the benefits that you acquire, it is enough for you to know that you are loved by Allah.

Allah's love has signs and causes (sources), which are the same as the key to the door.

The reasons (for achieving this love) include the following things:

1. Following the instructions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah says in His Book (meaning):

“Say (O Muhammad to the people): If you (really) love Allah, then follow me (i.e. accept the monotheism of Islam, follow the Quran and Sunnah), then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful” [Al-‘Imran 3:31].

2. Those who strive for the love of Allah perform many additional (nafil) acts of worship. Allah says (in Hadith Qudsi):

“And My servant will not cease to approach Me, doing voluntary (nafilya) deeds, until I love him.”
Additional worship includes additional prayers, fasting, almsgiving, reading the Koran, giving alms, remembering Allah (dhikr).

3. Love for brothers when they visit each other, support each other both financially and morally, and give each other good advice for the sake of Allah. These qualities are mentioned in the hadith-qudsi, where the Almighty says:

“My love becomes obligatory for those who love one another for My sake, My love becomes obligatory for those who visit each other for My sake, My love becomes obligatory for those who help each other (in financial relations), My love will be obligatory for those who maintain relationships for My sake"(Ahmad, Ibn Hibban).

What should be understood by the words “two who visit each other for My sake”? This means that two believers visit each other for the sake of Allah, seeking to achieve His pleasure, love each other for His sake and help each other in worship for His sake.

4. Numerous trials in life are also signs of Allah’s love. Calamities and misfortunes are trials for a person, and this is a sign that Allah loves him. Trials for the soul are like medicines for the body: even if they are bitter, we still give them to those people we love for their own benefit, just as Allah sends us trials for our benefit.

The Hadith Qudsi says: “The greatest rewards come with great challenges. When Allah loves someone, He tests him, the one who accepts it with patience earns Allah's pleasure, and the one who complains deserves His wrath."(At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah).

The calamities that befall a believer in this life are better for him than the punishments that may befall him in the Hereafter. How could it be otherwise, because through troubles and misfortunes his sins are erased.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When Allah desires good for His slave, He speeds up his punishment in this world, and when He is angry with His slave, He delays his punishment until he (the slave) appears before Him with his sins on the Day of Resurrection.”(narrated by At-Tirmidhi).

Scientists have explained that the one who is protected from disasters and trials in this world is most likely a hypocrite, because Allah is withholding his punishment in this world in order to bring him with all his sins on the Day of Resurrection.

The great fruits of Allah's love for His servants are the following:

Allah mentions in the hadith qudsi the great virtues of those He loves:

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“Anyone who shows enmity towards one who is devoted to Me, I will declare war. And the most beloved thing for Me, through which the servant approaches Me, is what I have assigned to him as a duty.

And My servant will not stop approaching Me, doing voluntary (nafilya) deeds, until I love him.” When I love him, I will become his hearing with which he hears, and I will become his sight with which he sees, and I will become his hand with which he strikes, and I will become his foot with which he walks. And if he asks Me, I will certainly give it to him, and if he asks Me for protection, then I will definitely protect him” (Reported by al-Bukhari).

This hadith includes a number of promises from Allah to His servant:

1) “I will be his ear with which he hears” - that is, he will not listen to anything except what Allah loves.

2). “I will be the hand with which he strikes” - that is, he will not do anything that Allah does not love.

3) “I will be his foot with which he steps” - he will not walk in the direction of what Allah does not love.

4) “If he asks Me for something, I will give it to him” - his dua will be heard.

O Allah, make us among those whom You love. We ask Allah to help us do what He is pleased with. Amine.
