No person is born with a "built-in" internal clock. Children learn to keep track of time thanks to their parents, daily routine, school. Sometimes the habit of synchronizing your behavior with the rest of the world takes months to develop, sometimes it takes several years. In the end, we all adapt. And now the standard time units are becoming our faithful companions. This system is perfect: minutes flow into hours, hours into days of the week, days of the week into months and years. But there is a big difference in how we perceive the passage of time.

Can time move at different speeds?

Sometimes it seems to us that time flies like a jet plane, and sometimes that it moves at the speed of a turtle. It would seem that this time is completely empty, but people with a stable psyche are able to completely change their worldview, and people with a weaker nervous system go crazy with obsession. All these circumstances place people in unusual conditions. The paradox is that people tend to focus their attention on strange circumstances, which only increase the density of experience that affects the perception of a standard time unit. Thus, distortion is formed.

When time flies by

We have found that time moves slowly when the density of experience is extremely high. It is logical to assume the opposite. Time will fly by unnoticed when the density of experience related to a standard time block is abnormally low. However, I decided to take this article as the basis of my story in order to reveal the “time dilation phenomenon”, as I understood it, on an already prepared foundation.

Time dilation phenomenon

Science claims that time always flows at the same speed, and no one can change this - neither man nor nature. But there are times when a person's sense of the passage of time changes and it seems to him that time speeds up or slows down its run. Usually such a feeling appears when a lot of events occur in a matter of seconds and consciousness cannot “fit” them into ordinary time periods.

So, once the car of cosmonaut Vladimir Aksenov stalled at a railway crossing. Fifty meters away from the bend at that moment a speeding train appeared. The driver would not even have had time to get out of the car - in a second the train would inevitably crash into it. Aksenov pulled the ignition key out of the socket, and then put it back in and slowly pressed the starter. Immediately the engine started up and the car, having moved off the rails, froze a couple of meters from the speeding train. Physicist and chemist Ilya Prigogine argued that each person constructs his own time at every moment of being. At critical moments, the brain manages its own time, i.e. can slow it down by almost a hundred times, or maybe speed it up. There is a clear example that proves this.

The Boers, who began in the 1780s to seize the lands of the Xhosa and Zulus, faced an amazing phenomenon - African healers could speak from the bullets of their warriors. As a result, they attacked the Europeans despite fierce fire. Some remained unharmed even when they were fired at point-blank range. These manuscripts say that concentration of thought is necessary for the complete disappearance. When my numbness passed, I ran with the guys to the scene of the tragedy, while I was in a fever from what I saw ... I saw this for the first time in my life ... The man, apparently, remained alive then. At least the ambulance arrived and took him away from the scene alive...

The second time I experienced the phenomenon of time dilation somewhere in the year 1992, when I myself became a participant and culprit in an accident in a car of friends, in such a Moskvich.

The car was old, the rear drive wheels had "bald" tires, and I was just learning how to be a driver. Since it was out of town, friends entrusted me with driving. Besides, I already knew the road I was going to take.

To my misfortune, then it was autumn, that day it froze. Accordingly, the road was covered with ice... Ahead was a turn of almost 90 degrees to the right, and almost immediately a rather steep uphill began. For some reason, I thought then that I would go through the turn halfway and then sharply add gas so that the car could pick up acceleration and drive uphill without any problems. As I thought, I did so ... It was my strategic mistake, made by me due to my inexperience ...

When I stepped on the gas hard, the car spun on the turn, and it turned into an ice figure skater who began to rotate around its axis ...

A frozen moment.

The car I was driving began to spin in some kind of ellipsoidal spiral. I again saw "slow motion" and heard silence. I did not touch the steering wheel, the pedals too. I just didn't know what to do when the car is spinning?! I turned to a comrade sitting in the back seat, saw his frightened eyes and arms spread out to the sides (in case of a side impact). I asked myself aloud the question: "what to do?", and suddenly, against the background of silence in my mind, the answer clearly sounded in the form of the thought: "put on the brake!". Hearing mentally (not with my ears) this command, I slammed the brake pedal to the stop, the trajectory of the car changed dramatically, it shook, and my friend and I safely drove back into a deep roadside ditch ...

The third phenomenal incident happened to me in 2010 at the 691th kilometer of the Moscow-Murmansk highway, when I was driving a used car "Volvo S80" freshly bought in the "Moscow" car dealership.

The engine of the car was with two turbines, which created a power of 250 l / s, 10 airbags: front, side, rear, roof airbag in case of a rollover ... Plus, several security systems that control the wheels: ABS, EBS and more ...

I was then going to overtake a bus, while I did not have much experience in driving a car of this class. And at a speed of about 100 km / h, I lost control ... Trying to avoid a side collision, I played the steering wheel as if it were a Zhiguli, completely forgetting about the brake. "Volvo S80" went skidding, the axial stabilization system crackled, the car at high speed ran into a roadside bumper, which, fortunately for me, started from the ground itself and separated the roadbed from a small ravine ... It was the most phenomenal thing I have ever seen in my life. The flight of the car was like the flight of a flying skier who took off into the sky by means of a springboard. In my case, the role of a springboard was played by this very metal road bumper ...

I was wearing seat belts. Sleeping fastened next to me was my youngest son, who was then 18 years old. The forward speed of the car was high... Still, I went to overtake...

When the Volvo S80 began to roll over in the air and I was in the "upside down" position, I remembered the airbag, which was located in the roof. During the passage of the car and me vertical ("bottom dead center"), (and I felt it very clearly), I tensed up, expecting a blow to the head from a shot of a ceiling pillow ...

Tumbling of the car from the normal position "wheels down" to the position "wheels up" took, probably, some hundredths of a second. And during this time I managed to think, reason and somehow group ... Phenomenal! ..

The expected explosion of the overhead airbag then did not follow, which at that moment greatly surprised and even puzzled me ... Meanwhile, the rotation of the car in the air and its fall still continued ... Rotating around its axis like a bullet, the Volvo S80 finally touched , land ... The blow fell on the right corner of the roof and the edge of the right front wing ... (The heavy motor outweighed the rear). At that moment, I clearly saw how an electrostatic discharge lightning ran across the windshield (!) and at the same time the glass began to crack from the upper right corner to the bottom! Phenomenal! I saw the appearance in the windshield of each new fragment! Then some time passed, and the left edge of the roof and the left front fender took over the impact on the ground. An electrostatic discharge, exactly the same as I saw on the right, went inside the windshield already from the upper left corner to the bottom and to the middle. Simultaneously with the electrostatic discharge, there was the same cracking of the windshield as in the previous case ... Then another somersault followed and the car stood on wheels ...

When I got out of the cab, I realized that I myself was alive and my son was also alive, both without any damage ... Inspection of the car showed that the engine continued to work, no liquids had flowed ... This was at least a little pleased. All four wheels were also in place ... Only the plastic protection of the wheel arches was torn off ...

When kind people helped to pull the car out of the ditch with the help of a tug, it turned out that she was able to go further on her own. The remaining 700 km to Murmansk was driven by my son, he had a driver's license, but I was in shock and sorrow that it all happened ...

He was driving, and I looked around and paid attention to roadside graves (there are many of them on any highway in Russia), which indicate that a person died in such and such a place ...

At the end of these discussions, the thought is usually heard that evil is the absence of good. Formally, this is the correct conclusion, but this formulation does not explain much.

Any person can come to an understanding of GOOD and EVIL in full measure through understanding the following logical chain.

1. There is God, and there is his antipode. For convenience, I will call them: "Higher Mind" and "Lower Mind". Look inside yourself - comprehend your feelings and make sure that you exist in yourself both of these gods.

Everything low in human nature gives rise to the "lower mind". Its fruits: greed, stinginess, envy, lies, perjury, quarrelsomeness, anger, malice, hatred, deceit, deceit, cowardice, betrayal, etc.

The product of the "Higher Reason" in man: selflessness, love in the highest sense, all talents, creativity, patriotism, readiness for self-sacrifice for the sake of saving other people and other virtues.

2. Every person is under the control of these two minds most of the time without even realizing it. When both of these minds are in balance with each other in their impact on the consciousness of a person, we have in ourselves what is called harmony.

3. The vector of a person's behavioral aspirations can be directed both to the "Higher Mind" and to the "Lower Mind".

4. If the first happens, a person from step to step makes himself a highly moral person. If the second happens, the person gradually turns himself into an animal.

5. If one day a person completely breaks the connection between consciousness and his "Higher Mind" (there is a loss of conscience, as people say), the human consciousness closes on the "lower mind", and then he turns not even into an animal, but into a monster. I don't think there's anything to prove here. Any crime chronicle shows us such monsters in abundance.

6. "Higher mind" and "lower mind" are capable of generating feelings and thoughts in the human mind. Regarding the "lower mind", which is tied to our instincts and bodily needs, I believe that nothing special needs to be explained. I am sure that what I said is unlikely to cause rejection in anyone. For some reason, many people have doubts about the “Higher Mind”: does He, the “Higher Mind”, exist in general, and is it given to us to hear Him, etc.

If at least once in your life you have heard the voice of conscience, when you were just thinking of doing something bad, then you have already heard the voice of the "Higher Reason", which all religions call the Almighty or God, or Allah. The word "Allah" just means "Almighty", giving us by default a hint that there is still SOMEONE "lower".

7. Being in us, the "Higher Mind", at the same time, is also outside of us. He is omnipresent and all-pervading like radio waves and light, and we always have only some part of Him.

So why is there so much evil around, if the "Supreme Mind" is omnipresent?- maybe someone wants to ask me?

First of all, everyone must understand that homo sapiens ("reasonable man") was brought into the world to live according to conscience. That is why it was given to him by the "Higher Reason". Moreover, the voice of conscience is always prohibitions (in contrast to the voice of the "lower mind", which always shouts: "I want!", "I want!", "I want!"). Conscience sounds in the mind every time a person really tries to do something bad (from the point of view of the "Higher Reason").

These prohibitions, as I understand it, are dictated solely so that the human community as a whole can develop harmoniously on a conflict-free and good-neighbourly basis, such as, for example, a family of bees or a family of ants.

If someone is confused by the definition of “lower mind” that I introduced, they say, in the scriptures antipode God is Satan or devil I will answer this in the following way. For many people who read fairy tales about the Serpent Gorynych and Baba Yaga in childhood, when reading these two words "Satan" or "Devil", for some reason, images of fantastic creatures similar to the named fictional characters invariably arise in their minds. And this is very sad.

Our life is far from fairy tales. It's much scarier and more tragic. That is why I consider it possible, instead of the words "satan" and "devil", which cause so much misunderstanding, to use the definition "lower mind". And in order to eliminate all contradictions on this score, I want to add the following to everything that has been said.

The "lower mind", it is also the primary protein mind, (it is also "Satan" and it is also the "devil" in the religious lexicon, it is also "Lucifer" among the Satanists-sectarians), lives in our cells, in our genes, as well as in cells and in the genes of all biological objects of nature. Its functional task is to ensure that all earthly creatures are fruitful, multiply and devour each other in rivalry. It is the rivalry for life and death that forces the "lower mind" to be the father of disguise, the father of lies, the father of deceit and various other methods of survival in the wild.

According to the Bible, two thousand years ago they were identified in human history and denounced by a certain Jesus Christ, addressing these fighters with the "Higher Reason" the following words: "your father is the devil, and you want to do the lusts of your father" . (John 8:44).

I wrote this on March 7, 2011, and on August 19, 2011, I decided to arrange a survey in Mahpark, wanting to clarify for myself what percentage of people feel in themselves a connection with the "Higher Mind", and what percentage of people do not feel this connection in themselves .

Since the ability of a person to hear the voice of conscience in himself is a sure sign that both thought systems work in him at once: the Higher and the lower, I decided to arrange a survey on the topic, "what forDoes conscience mean you?" And I put the question this way: "Do you think that conscience is an innate feeling? Or do you think that conscience is instilled by education?"

The trickiness of my question was that the person answering it was 100% open.

Whoever had no conscience, who was not able to hear the voice of the "Higher Mind" coming from the depths of the soul, surely clung to the words proposed in my questionnaire, that "conscience is instilled by education". And whoever heard the voice of conscience at least once in his life answered without even thinking that "Conscience is an innate feeling".

The result of my survey is as follows:

Of course, these figures cannot be used to judge our entire society, because only two hundred people took part in my survey, but a rough picture can already be imagined.

The percentage of people in our society who live exclusively in the animal mind ("lower mind") is too high, hence we have high crime and all that!

And today, when I suddenly decided to highlight the topic "time dilation phenomenon", I remembered this work of 2011 in connection with the following thought: the phenomenon of time dilation occurs in critical situations, after all, not all people in a row, but only some!

Many have heard that Lucifer is a fallen angel. But before his downfall, he was unique and magnificent. His appearance is perfect, and his body is adorned with gold and precious stones. • Lucifer planned that in this evil world that would reign, Eve would be completely focused on him.
• He urged people to do everything opposite of what God wanted. Thus, a group of aggressive people began to form around Lucifer.

Note. It is believed that they behaved excessively cruelly, did not feel remorse when someone was killed. But the so-called sons of Lucifer lived in a unity of fear and insecurity.

People know many followers, beings who followed his ideas, who supported him. There is even a legend that he considered them his children. Some think that these are the guises of one being, others tend to believe that Lucifer had a son or even several sons. In modern times, 3 sons of Lucifer are known:

• Lucifer was originally generally a proper name and was freely used by people, for example, in the 4th century in Cagliari, Saint Lucifer was the bishop, no matter how strange this fact may sound for a modern believer. By the way, this saint did a lot to preserve the true faith.

So, the words only look different, but for the modern Orthodox they are synonyms. It's just that the word Satan points to the deceitful (in translation - slanderer, adversary) nature of the devil, to his activities against people and the Lord.

In turn, the name of Lucifer refers to the angelic rank, as he was called during his stay in heaven, before the fall, and the name is translated as “light-bearing”, “light-bearing”.

The story of the fall of an angel

No wonder pride and envy are considered more than serious sins in Orthodoxy, and humility is the ideal, and even great personalities strive to remain humble, as they remember the example of the fallen angel Lucifer, who was unable to pacify his own temper and as a result lost all the goodness that he could have, became the most disgusting creature in this world.

Lucifer, who remained with his new evil deed, is now an eschatological figure, that is, a character who belongs to the end of time. The apostle John writes about this role in particular in his prophecy. Revelation describes the coming of the Antichrist and Satan to Earth and after that the final exodus of this world, followed by the kingdom of God.

In Judaism, which relies, among other things, on the Pentateuch of the Old Testament, the figure of Satan is absent, this term is simply called an angel who plays the role of a heavenly judge over people, a kind of accuser at this court. This term is used as a common noun and also in Judaism indicates any evil inclination, but one that comes from a person because of his sinfulness.

The fallen angel has many guises and even in the Bible itself appears under many different names besides Lucifer:

Thus, the figure of a fallen angel really personifies freedom to some extent and allows each person to choose between different options. Believers, by their hard work and firmness, choose Salvation and, as a result, receive a well-deserved reward, while the faint-hearted go to hell, where they languish until the end of time.

Therefore, in a sense, Satan is the need of this world, that difficult obstacle that the unceasing believer must overcome. As you know, it is possible to acquire the Kingdom of Heaven only by personal effort, therefore the presence of such an obstacle in the world allows believers to make an effort and deserve eternal bliss.

The word of the Son is to be obeyed as well as the word of the Father Himself. He gave His Son the authority to rule over all the heavenly host. The Mighty Creator emphasized that His Son, in close union with Him, will participate in the forthcoming creation of the Earth and all that inhabit it. God declared that Christ will always carry out His will and intentions and will not do anything independently, from Himself, it is in Him that the will of the Father will be fulfilled.

Lucifer experienced intense jealousy and envy. He lived near the Almighty Creator and, like no one else, could contemplate the rays of unfading glory surrounding the Eternal God. He was pleased to think about the pleasure, joy and zeal with which the angels fulfill all his commands. Do not his clothes shine with glory and splendor? Why, then, is Christ more honored than he?

Dissatisfied and consumed with envy of Jesus Christ, Lucifer leaves the place of the direct presence of the Father. Then he gathers all the heavenly angels and, carefully disguising his true intentions, sets out to them the essence of his displeasure, the real cause of which is none other than himself. Presenting himself offended, he tells everyone that God neglected him, unjustly exalting Jesus. Further, he reveals to them the imaginary consequences of this - from now on the sweet heavenly freedom that the angels enjoyed has come to an end, since now another Lord has been placed over them, to whom they must henceforth slavishly obey. At the same time, Lucifer announces to the angels that from now on he will not allow anyone to trample on their rights, that he will never bow to Christ again, that he will achieve those honors that were supposedly originally intended for him by right, and that now he will be the leader and ruler of all who wants to follow him and obey him.

The angels began to actively discuss the situation. It was obvious to many that Lucifer and his supporters were trying to change the principles of God's government in the universe. The reason for their discontent and unhappiness was that they could not penetrate deep into His incomprehensible wisdom and understand why He exalted His Son and endowed Him with unlimited power and authority. They rebelled against the authority of the Son.

Faithful to God, the angels made great efforts to reason with Lucifer, who had raised a rebellion against the Creator of the Universe. They did not see anything illegal in the fact that God endowed Christ with divine authority, and they convinced Lucifer and his supporters that God was right. They brought forth the strongest arguments, seeking to prove to Lucifer that his dignity and the honor due to him did not diminish at all after the Father exalted His Son. Intelligibly and clearly they explained to Lucifer that Christ is the Son of God and existed with His Father before the creation of the angels, and that He was always at the right hand of the Father, and no one had ever challenged His authority in the Universe, where Christ was not a despotic ruler, but a meek and a loving Lord, whose commands are by no means imperious orders, but affectionate requests, the fulfillment of which brings joy to all celestials. Again and again, faithful angels convinced the rebellious Lucifer that God had honored Christ in a special way in their presence, without in the least diminishing or belittling his honor and dignity, which he had previously been endowed with. With tears in their eyes, they ardently urged this cherub to abandon his evil intentions and again submit to the will of the Heavenly Father; because before that everything in the Universe was in peace and perfect harmony, and disobedience to the Creator would inevitably lead to the most disastrous consequences.

However, Lucifer refused to even listen. He turned away from those who disagreed with him, contemptuously calling them slaves. Faithful to God, the angels watched in horror as Lucifer succeeded in successfully carrying out his rebellious plan. He promised his followers that he would introduce new and more just forms of government, guaranteeing complete freedom to all. And many angels, believing him, recognized him as their leader and master. Seeing that his rebellion against Divine rule was gaining strength, Lucifer consoled himself with the hope that soon all the angels would go over to his side, and then he would become equal to God Himself, and the entire heavenly host would unquestioningly fulfill his powerful commands. Faithful angels tried to convince him, they warned him of the disastrous consequences for the entire universe, which this stubborn disobedience to God could lead to; they assured him that He who created the heavenly angels could, by His power, deprive them of all authority and by Divine power put an end to this audacious and terrible rebellion. Just think about it! A created being opposes its Creator and does not want to obey the Law of God, which is as holy as God Himself! The angels faithful to God persistently advised Lucifer's followers not to listen to his false arguments, and they offered him and those who were under his influence to return to God and admit that they were mistaken, calling into question God's right to supreme power.

Many of Lucifer's supporters were already inclined to heed the urgent advice of faithful angels, repent of their displeasure, and earn again the trust of the Father and His Beloved Son. However, the great rebel declared that he had learned the Law of God and that even if he again began to obey God slavishly, he would still lose all his former honors, and he would never again occupy such a high position. Lucifer told his supporters that all of them had gone too far with him, so he would face any consequences boldly, but he would never slavishly bow before the Son of God. He declared that God would never forgive him or them, and that now it was up to them to assert their own freedom and by force to achieve that position and power that was not voluntarily granted to them by God [Thus, it was this "light-bearing angel", Lucifer, worthy of God's glory, standing before the throne of the Creator, having violated His Law, became Satan, "the adversary." - Patriarchs and Prophets, pp. orig. 40].

Faithful angels immediately went to the Son of God to inform Him of what was happening. But it turned out that at that time the Father was already discussing the situation with Him, seeking the best way to resolve the conflict, so that for the well-being of all angels faithful to God, once and for all, put an end to Satan's presumptuous claims to power. Almighty God, of course, could throw this impudent deceiver from heaven in an instant, but this was not part of His plans. He graciously decided to give the rebellious Lucifer an equal opportunity to compare his strength and power with the strength of the Son of God and his faithful angels. In this struggle, everyone had to make their choice in front of all the celestials. It was highly unsafe to allow any of the angels who had joined Satan to remain in heaven. They were to learn a lesson from the consequences of consciously resisting the unchanging Law of God. If God had resorted to His power to punish this daring rebel, it would not have been revealed which of the angels supported Lucifer in his rebellion. Therefore, God acted differently, for He wanted to show His justice and judgment to all the host of heaven.

Rebellion against God's rule was the greatest crime. The whole sky seemed to be in motion. The angels lined up in divisions, each of which was headed by the highest rank cherubs. Not wanting to submit to the power of the Son of God, the Lord of heaven, striving for self-exaltation, for the sake of his vanity and ambition, Satan began a war against the Law of God.

All the heavenly host was commanded to appear and present themselves before the Father, that each one might have his say. Then Satan began to shamelessly speak to all the inhabitants of heaven about his dissatisfaction with the fact that God did not exalt him, but Jesus Christ. Self-satisfied and proud, he demanded to be honored as an equal with God and initiated into God's innermost purposes. However, God told Satan that He would reveal His innermost intentions only to His Beloved Son. At the same time, God demanded that all the inhabitants of heaven, including Satan, completely and unconditionally obey Christ, after which Satan began to behave in such a way that his further stay in heaven became impossible. When Lucifer realized this, he pointed with glee to his supporters, who made up almost half of all angels, and exclaimed: “They are with me too! Perhaps You also want to drive them out of heaven and deal with them as with me? Then Satan publicly announced that he was ready to resist the power of Christ to the end and defend his place in heaven, opposing His might and strength with his strength.

God's faithful angels wept when they heard Satan's bold words and boastful claims. God was forced to announce to everyone that Satan and his accomplices could no longer remain in heaven. Their happy and prosperous life was due only to complete obedience to the Law, which regulated the relationship of all rational beings. But the Law did not provide for the salvation of those who dared to break it. Satan became more and more bold, continuing his rebellion, and in every way expressed his contempt for the Law of the Creator. From now on, Satan simply could not come to terms with the existence of this Law. He argued that angels do not need any law at all and that they have the right to freely follow their desires, which allegedly always result in good deeds. Satan claimed that the Law of God limited their freedom, and therefore the main goal of the rebellion he raised was the abolition of this Law. In his opinion, the angels deserved a better fate. However, God, who established the Law and exalted it on a par with Himself, reasoned differently. The happiness of all the celestials depended on their complete obedience to this Law. Each angel had his own definite business, and until Satan rose up in rebellion, perfect order and perfect harmony reigned in heaven in all their actions.

So the war began in heaven. The Son of God, the Prince of Heaven and His faithful angels entered the fight against the rebellious Lucifer and his supporters. In this open struggle, the Son of God won with his faithful angels, and Satan and his accomplices were expelled from heaven. Then all the heavenly host gave praise and bowed down to the just God. There was not the slightest trace of rebellion in the sky. Once again, order, peace and harmony have come. The heavenly angels mourned over the fate of those who had previously shared serene joy and happiness with them and who were now so lacking in heaven.

The Father consulted with the Son regarding the immediate implementation of His intention to create man to inhabit the earth. At the same time, it was decided that before endowing him with immortality, it was necessary to test his loyalty. If a person passes the test determined by God, then he will subsequently become equal to the angels. He will enjoy the grace of God and freely communicate with the angels, and they with him. God did not want to deprive man of free will and choice.
