Setting up SMS video surveillance
We start the program, press "Enter", since there is no password by default.
We get to the main CMS management screen, where first we need to add an area (work area). The name of the area is any arbitrary value.
After we need to add our device to a new area. Select the area, click on the "Add device" tab.
Let's deal with the interface for adding a new device. In the field "Name « any arbitrary name is entered. Type - select the method of connecting equipment (in the "IP address" tab, we can add an ip video camera or video recorder using a static ip address. IP address - add a static address of the equipment. Port - HTTP port of our device, which must be forwarded on the router in advance. Name - device login Password - device password Realm - by default our new area. Vendor is a connection method, since we connect a DVR, we select H264DVR, if we need to connect an ip video camera, then we set onvif.
If all the settings are correct, then our DVR with a drop-down list of cameras will appear in the upper left corner under the area.

The developers have tried to provide the software with all possible gadgets and additional functional features. This video control utility is able to create two-way communication if security cameras have a special built-in microphone and speaker.
The program for video surveillance, after entering the necessary settings, is automatically capable of recording from video surveillance cameras with subsequent conversion to the desired format. Just like most standard IP programs, the CMS utility is able to control the rotation of security cameras with the ability to stop in case of detection of unauthorized moving objects.
After installing and launching the application, you will see the following window.
To add a new device, select "System" in the menu on the right, then "Devices".
In the window that appears, select "My devices", then "+ Device".
Next, fill in the required fields:
- Name- name for your DVR.
- IP address- IP address of your DVR.
- Port— port for access to the video recorder. The default is 34567.
Don't forget beforehand tune given port on the router. - Name- username for authorization. The default is admin.
- Password— user password for authorization. By default, there is no password.
The added device will appear in the list.
If you need to add new devices, repeat the above steps. When finished, click "OK".
To connect to the DVR, select it in the list on the left and click 2 times with the left mouse button
When you right-click, a context menu appears. To view in maximum quality, select " main stream". The "secondary stream" usually shows in CIF resolution, with a frame size of 352x240 pixels.
After connecting, you can see the image from the cameras on the screen. AT this case with 6 surveillance cameras.
If necessary, you can connect to multiple devices by following exactly the same steps.
Up to 64 cameras can be combined in a CMS, but keep in mind that this will increase the load on the computer processor.
To reduce the load on the computer, you can select "Secondary stream".
To disconnect from the DVR, you also need to double-click on the name of the DVR.
At the bottom of the application there is a choice of several options for the number of cameras displayed.
You can also expand the image to full screen.
To exit the mode, you need to right-click and select "Exit Mode" in the menu that appears.
The processor load level is displayed in the upper right corner. A list of files will appear at the bottom with the date and time. If not in the list desired file, use the Page Down button to view the next page of files and use the Page Up button to return to previous page. To play the desired file, you need to put a "tick" next to the file and click the "Play." or double-click with the left mouse button.
