To do this easily, we divide the lower half of the center line in half, but the line of the knees will be slightly higher. We measure its height and transfer it to the center line three times, leaving notches. The result should be three equal parts:
Photo 5. Now we outline the waist line. It will be located on the notch between the first and second half of the divided center line (there are 3 parts in total), and the hips will be slightly lower and twice as wide as the waist. We draw the hips and waist at an angle, opposite to the shoulders:

Step 1 Construction lines

IN classical theory arts there is a rule of “seven heads”. It means that the body is related to the head in a ratio of 7:1 and consists, with an ideal structure, of 7 sizes of its head.
You need to know how to draw a person, a girl in our case. Consider design features female body and its differences from the male one:
width of the hip joint;
structure of the shoulder girdle and sternum;
graceful lines of arms and legs;
thin wrists and ankles;
arching of the back, especially in the lumbar region.

Now we will give our frame volume. It is worth dividing this step into small steps:
At the bends of the arms and legs, at the joints, draw circles. They will help create proportional limbs. The circles should not be large, since we are depicting a graceful and beautiful girl. If we go too far at this stage, we can get not a dancer, but a bodybuilder;
outline the line of the neck and collarbones;
now, on the currently invisible supporting part, draw the outlines of the palm;
the outline of the chest should only protrude slightly just below the right shoulder;
The girl's legs are crossed. Using smooth lines, highlight the outlines of the leg muscles. We are looking at the girl from below, so we lengthen her legs a little;
The final stage of the second step is the feet.

The easiest one, but important step. We draw the railings on which she leans while dancing. All lines on the legs, hands and palms that cross the railings need to be removed.

making the T-shirt more embossed. We outline all the folds and bends of the clothing.
Step 7. Draw the bottom of the clothes
The girl's shorts are short and follow the shape of her body. Drawing them is not difficult. We apply folds to the clothes, which should be on the lower back, between the buttocks and on the sides of the thighs. We complement the shorts with a belt; they should not fit tightly to the legs. For some reason, everyone who is suddenly overwhelmed by the thirst for drawing begins to carry out their plans with the image of a girl. The drawing is often far from perfect, and all because a person is barely familiar not only with anatomy, but also with the principles of constructing the human body and face. Meanwhile, this knowledge is very important, especially for a beginning artist.
But in this article I will not delve into anatomical details, but will tell you about the most important techniques for constructing a proportional figure. Drawn ladies can excite the imagination no less than the living ones, so at this stage you will only need Blank sheet paper, a simple and soft eraser.
Before that, you need to schematically outline its proportions. For ease of understanding, let’s take a straight-standing figure as an example. So, to begin with, we draw a kind of “skeleton” or “frame”: having drawn the head in the form of an ellipse, we draw from the center of its “chin” vertical line. It will serve as a guide for construction. In order for the figure to be proportional, you need to know that the head of an adult “fits” in the body seven times. Therefore, before going to full height, you must first note the height of the head. This is done simply: attach a pencil to the drawing so that the edge of its lead is level with the top of the head, and your fingers are level with the future chin.
Having fixed the height of the head in this way, divide the downward line into seven segments equal to it. Now in more detail about the resulting “scale”: at the level of the first segment there should be rib cage, at the second level - the waist, the third - Bottom part hips, fourth and fifth - legs to the knees, sixth and seventh - legs below the knees to the ankle bone. The image of the foot requires an additional segment, half as long as the main one.
Having received such a diagram, we proceed to the next stage of solving the problem of how to draw a girl. Now we need to outline the limbs. To do this, stepping back a little from the head, we outline it using a horizontal line. We mark the waist and hip line with exactly the same segments. Since we are drawing a girl, it will be absolutely natural if the shoulder line is wider than the waist line, but narrower than the hip line. From the schematic shoulder girdle we draw the lines of future arms: the elbows should be at the level between the third and fourth segments, the fingertips at the level between the fourth and fifth. The beginning of the legs should fall directly on the fourth segment.
When the “frame” is ready, you can begin to “build up the meat,” that is, drawing a full body. The “skeleton” will serve as a guide so that both halves of the body are the same in width. Of course, when completing the drawing, you need to take into account that the arms, legs, and the entire body have a certain shape, and the face and head also require separate construction.
