Right away, I want to say that everything written is only my subjective opinion and is based on my understanding of this game! Well, let's begin...
1. Build your deck correctly.
Remember the deck must be properly balanced! Or in other words, the deck should contain:
- at least one spell (in the initial arenas one is enough);
- at least one or two “cheap” cards (cards that cost 1-2 drops of elixir).
- At least one card that can attack Towers at once (Goblin Barrel or Miner) or a card that attacks only buildings (Giant, Golem, etc.)
- at least one card whose character is capable of causing damage in the zone (Little Dragon, Mage, Executioner, etc.).
- at least one building (to distract troops that only target buildings...otherwise they will attack the tower straight away).
Note: You can skip the last two points and form a pretty decent deck without them... But this is already in higher arenas and if you have more or less decent experience in the game... For beginners, however, I recommend that you first build your decks by overexerting all 5 points... It will be easier this way! You'll see🙂
Now in more detail... The main mistake of beginners is that they build decks with too many “heavy” cards (cards that cost 5 or more drops of elixir). Such decks turn out too slowly and, as a result, situations often arise when the opponent attacks the tower, but there is nothing to respond with, since the elixir has not yet been restored. It is for such situations that you need to have cards that cost 1-2 drops of elixir. When used skillfully, they disrupt the opponent's quick counterattacks. In the picture below, you can see an example of a fairly popular deck that many pros play:

2. Play smart.
Don't throw cards into the arena at random! Think! I often saw a situation in the early arenas when they try to stop a Magician with a Horde of Minions :) One such rash act threatens at least the loss of the tower! Remember, victories in Clash Royale are achieved by gaining an advantage in the elixir! It all comes down to getting the edge in the elixir! For example, an opponent throws a Horde of Minions and Goblins (7 drops of elixir) into battle - you respond with a Mage (5 drops), which destroys them. As a result, you have +2 drops of elixir, which allow you to release an additional unit into the arena. An example for higher arenas: the opponent released a Mega Knight (7 drops) - bring him closer and release a simple Knight (3 drops). Due to a larger supply of health and with the help of Towers, a knight can stop his “Mega” relative and give an excellent advantage in the elixir! I hope the meaning is clear...
By the way, this is precisely why I wrote that the deck should have a card that deals zone damage and a “spell” type card, since it is through such cards that it is easiest to gain an advantage in the elixir. Excellent combinations that make it relatively easy to destroy a group of enemy units are: “Mage + Tornado”, “Executioner + Tornado”, “Ice Mage + Tornado”... Of the spell cards - Poison and Lightning.
3. Watch your opponent's deck.
This is another one not enough important point, which allows you to use your cards wisely and end up with an advantage in the elixir! For example, you have a Minion Horde in your deck, to which your opponent always responds with arrows... Therefore, hold back your flies and try to create a situation so that your opponent shoots them at someone else. As soon as he does this, feel free to release the flies and they will definitely “make a noise”! I always use this trick in my deck with Bats and a Barrel of Skeletons, which, as a rule, are destroyed by Discharge (a very popular card in higher arenas and leagues)… As soon as the opponent used his Discharge on mice, I launch a Barrel of Skeletons and vice versa :) It works!
Now let's briefly summarize... So, victories in Clash Royale are achieved by gaining an advantage in the elixir, which can be obtained by deliberately playing with the right deck and always keeping an eye on your opponent's cards!

On average, a little more than a unit of elixir is reproduced on the battlefield in three seconds. If there is a minute left at the end of the fight, the rate of energy generation doubles. Players are given the opportunity to speed up the production of the substance using the "Collector" building. It costs five units and adds seven more units every seventy seconds. It turns out that the player will be in the black by two elixirs.
Victory in a match depends entirely on the competent use of energy in implementing tactics.
Spell "Discharge"
Tactics in Clash Royale for professional gamers involve active play using the “Discharge” card. This is a spell that affects a certain area. It deals damage and paralyzes all creatures and towers for one second.
It is because of the immobilization that it is so popular. For example, the Hog Rider managed to get close to an enemy structure, but the enemy is preparing to kill him. Using this spell quickly will buy you time and cause additional damage to the tower.
At the same time, the skill card shows itself well in spam tactics and defense with small creatures. In the first case, it can stop waves at the required distance, and in the second case, it can simply destroy the enemy’s defenses.
Two more useful parameters The "discharge" is its effect on buildings and resets the special ability counter. Using the card teaches you to correctly calculate the time of battle and even correct mistakes if the enemy has outplayed you a little in terms of time or energy units.
