Novosibirsk State University(full name - federal state budgetary educational institution of higher vocational education"Novosibirsk National Research State University") is the only classical university in Novosibirsk, one of the national research universities in Russia. Novosibirsk State University was created by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR dated January 9, 1958, six months after the decision to create Siberian branch Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
