We send the dough sausages to the refrigerator until they solidify, ideally overnight. The longer it stays in the refrigerator, the more convenient it will be to work with it - this is from my own experience.
(I put them in the freezer for 15 minutes)

We take out frozen sausages. Mix the egg well (no need to beat) and generously grease each sausage with it.

Let's start forming cookies. We cut each sausage into small pieces 2 cm thick. I recommend preparing a very sharp and thin knife for this purpose in advance. This is what the dough looks like in a cut.
