What you need to open a poultry farm. Dynamics of investment investments. Business plan for creating a poultry farm: what needs to be considered

Living in countryside people, like no one else, feel the lack of jobs and lack of work. It is these people who think most of all about how to make money and where to make money. Many people who have already achieved success in business started their business in rural areas. This fact suggests that if you live in the outback and do not have a permanent job, then you should think about starting a career in a business environment.

Who is suitable for raising birds at home?
A great idea for this would be to open your own poultry farm at home. The site for the construction and maintenance of the poultry house is initially available. Young chickens can be purchased without problems. There will be no problems with feed and complementary foods. The only difficulty that may arise is personal transport to deliver products to customers. Well, start-up capital for initial costs.

How to start making a home poultry farm?
You need to start with start-up capital. You can get funds in several ways: take a loan, borrow from friends and acquaintances, or attract an investor. For the first and last option, you will need to write a business plan. It must be compiled carefully and slowly in order to avoid errors in the calculations and take into account everything, down to the smallest detail. Potential investors and lenders should see in your plan that by investing in an idea, they will not lose money, and the business will work with a profit.

Arrangement of a mini-poultry farm
The next stage in the organization of a mini-poultry farm is the arrangement of a poultry house. Its size depends on the number of chickens. But the more space it has, the better. The poultry house can be of two types: hangar and with cages. The first option is most often used to breed chickens. meat breeds. In this case, they graze themselves and move more, which leads to rapid weight gain. A poultry house with cages that are installed in tiers is used more for egg breeds.
How to equip a home poultry farm is up to you. If it is possible to breed poultry of both meat and egg breeds, it will be just fine. Then profit can be received from two types of goods: eggs and chicken meat. The most important thing is that the poultry house (which it will not be) is always kept clean, there are clean feeders with drinkers, dry perches.

In order not to buy young animals every year, it is necessary to organize your own incubator at the poultry farm (or have chicken nests). In any case, you must also have roosters to fertilize the eggs. This will significantly reduce your costs and increase the profitability of your business.

Where to buy poultry food?
As for feed: they need to be purchased immediately, and more. Allocate storage space for this (away from mice!). The diet of the bird should include: wheat, sunflower, corn, millet shell and barley. For young animals, it is necessary to purchase starter foods that contain everything essential minerals and useful substances that strengthen the health of the bird. It is desirable to conclude contracts for the supply of grain and feed.

How to sell homemade eggs and poultry meat?
Finished products can be sold in big cities(or in major nearby settlements). Eggs and / or chicken carcasses can be wholesaled to resellers, sold on the market on their own. You can also organize the supply of products to cafes, restaurants, public canteens. As well as super- and hypermarkets, shops, etc.

At first, you will need a manager, territory cleaners and an accountant. Remember that from time to time you will have to use the services of a specialist who will examine your birds.

The documents

  • Extract from the USRIP;

The demand for poultry products is increasing every year. And the number of different bird farms is also increasing, for example, in Leningrad region there are about 10 such farms. Bird products include: geese, ducks, turkeys, chickens, etc. The main demand is closed with the help of imported products from European countries.

Stage 1. Earth

The most common organizational form of a poultry farm is the so-called KFH (peasant farming), but there are cases of organizational forms such as "LLC". When organizing the location of the farm, it is necessary to correctly distinguish between breeding birds and products from them.

Breeding is more expedient outside the city, and the production workshop is within the city

The amount of space required will depend on the type of rearing, the number of heads, etc. In the case of free range, then for 1 unit it takes about 10 square meters according to the standard. In the case of fattening with compound feed, the area will be required less. An additional condition is only the breeding of ducks - the site must be equipped water resource. To start a business, you need an extract on the well-being of the farm from veterinarians at the location of the farm, and a certificate of conformity with the quality of commercial products.

Stage 2. Young animals

Grow, care for and monitor the farm under the power of one family, which will consist of three people. It is rather difficult to find highly qualified specialists in breeding birds, because not many universities and Susa teach such subjects and study suitable disciplines, and the demand for such personnel is many times higher than the supply.

Profitability - from 700 individuals and more.

Initial financial investments at the first stage should be about 6 thousand conventional units.

First of all, money will be needed for:

  • purchase of a young brood (tribe) or families of birds;
  • incubators, for the withdrawal of young animals of the next generation;
  • heating cubs;
  • construction of poultry houses;

Consider the costs required for the purchase of a young brood, depending on the specialization of the farm:

  • 1 geese - 90 rubles;
  • 1 duck - 45-50 rubles;
  • 1 individual turkey - 85-90 rubles;

Having made the necessary calculation for the farm to reach a certain level of profitability, we get the following figures: a farm of 700 individuals will need investments in the amount of 32 thousand rubles to 63 thousand rubles.

Stage 3. Poultry house

The breeding of ducks, turkeys and geese is remarkable in that they tolerate cold conditions well, the conditions of the north.

Most often, ready-made buildings are used.

A businessman tries not to invest much in the construction of new structures, and therefore most often they use ready-made buildings only by re-equipping them a little. This method can be used for growing and breeding geese. For them, the main factor will be the tightness of the room, it should not be purged.

Geese are well adapted to a temperature of 10 degrees, but they can tolerate a temperature of 5 degrees well, with a short-term decrease. As for the tribes, and the premises for their maintenance, the temperature must be maintained at 26 degrees above zero.

The premises that will be intended for breeding chicks must meet the following requirements:

  • Room heating (heating systems wiring or use special equipment- brooders);
  • Temperature support at a level of 28 to 37 degrees above zero;

When heating, you need to take into account that 1 brooder can heat from 250 young animals. The premises and areas are selected depending on the selected bird for rearing.

Consider the average number of heads per 1 square meter:

  • Geese - 4 pcs.;
  • Ducks - 3 pcs.;
  • Turkeys - 2 pcs.;

The advantage of quails is that they live and live mainly in flocks or heaps, which allows you to choose a smaller area for them and spend less money on rent.

On average, in practice, about 300 heads are accommodated in 1 square place, while living in multi-storey buildings (3-6 storey cages);

Stage 4. Feed

In the warm season (summer, autumn), a poultry farm for growing geese can use pasture as feed, feeding the brood in the evenings, after returning from the pasture, with small portions of compound feed or various types of grains.

When breeding ducks and with an existing reservoir, feed costs can be reduced due to the fact that ducks are, by and large, omnivorous, and will eat waste products near the reservoir (grass, phytoplankton, etc.).

The purchase of feed and compound feed is mainly carried out at factories.

The most costly species of birds to feed are quails. They need to be fed 2-3 times in 24 hours.

Do-it-yourself chicken coop for 100 heads: from drawing to interior decoration

1 individual per day consumes about 30 grams of feed. In addition to the main feed, waste from the kitchen (wheat, corn, cottage cheese, etc.) goes into the feeders. The cost of feeding is approximately 40 percent of the total cost.

As for the equipment, it is worth purchasing the following:

  • feeder;
  • Drinker of two types:
  1. Drinking bowl flow
  2. Vacuum drinker
  • Nest;
  • All equipment is purchased based on the number of poultry bred. Special attention feeders should be given, because their number should be such as to allow each bird to approach it at the same time.

    Most farmers make extensive use of incubation plants in their business.

    Stage 5. Waste-free production and marketing

    The highest level of profitability and the greatest efficiency from the operation of a poultry farm can be obtained with the full use of all types of products (feathers, down, droppings).

    Consider the characteristics when breeding geese:

    • Average weight - 6 kilograms (900 rubles);
    • Goose down - 600 grams (40 conventional units per 1 kilogram);

    However, down, as a rule, is sold in large quantities, and it is not easy to sell it in small quantities, so it would be advisable to open an additional production of pastel accessories (pillows, blankets) from down.

    Also, a significant part of the profit is the sale of litter for the need Agriculture, for summer residents, gardeners, villages. However, such activities require a separate certificate. 1 individual goose can produce about 1 thousand rubles annually.

    As a rule, the jump in demand for poultry farm products increases on the eve of the New Year holidays and other significant celebrations. The main disadvantage of the functioning of the farm is restraint in production, because most of the time farmers are forced to pluck birds.

    It takes about 2.5 hours to pluck 1 bird a day.

    It is impossible to purchase the appropriate equipment for a number of reasons:

    • The equipment is designed for large poultry farms;
    • high cost;
    • Long payback process;

    It would be advisable to establish a separate farm with appropriate plucking equipment in order to provide appropriate services to small farms.

    Here are the actual numbers for breeding various types of birds:

    1. Goose:
    • The average carcass weight is 7.5 kilograms (ranges from 5 to 10 kilograms);
    • Down - 600 grams of down at a price of up to 40 conventional units;
    • Flight feathers - up to 40 pieces;
    • Sebaceous glands ( required ingredient for cosmetic products) - the cost is 2 conventional units;
    • 1 goose on average for 1 day gives about 1 kilogram of litter;
  • Duck:
    • The growth process lasts a little less than 2 months;
    • The average carcass weight is 2.1 kilograms (ranges from 2 to 2.2 kilograms);
    • 1 adult with chicks in autumn is able to produce an average of 110 kilograms of meat products (from 100 to 120 kilograms);
    • Ducks capable of laying eggs per year produce about 130 eggs (depending on the type of duck, only some breeds lay eggs);
  • Turkey:
    • The average carcass weight is 12.5 kilograms (ranges from 7 to 18 kilograms);
    • Growing a turkey is considered to be a more profitable business, even than raising pigs;
  • Quail:
    • Female individuals produce approximately 285 eggs per year (from 250 to 320);
    • Individual weight - 120 grams, female - more;
    • 3 females and 1 male per year are able to give a farm up to 500 heads of young chicks;

    Until quite recently, we bought products without much thought about whether they were homemade or industrial production. However, today many of us prefer homemade food, as we clearly understand that homemade meat and eggs do not contain chemical additives and substances harmful to health.

    It is because of this that it is very profitable to open your own business in this area. Practice shows that some people refuse this idea because they do not know how to implement it. We will give answers to all your questions and tell you how to open a poultry farm from scratch.

    About the premises

    Initially, you need to think about the room. The ideal area for this purpose is about a thousand square meters. Also nearby should be a place for pasture of birds, rich in grass.

    At the same time, it is very important to take into account whether you will keep geese, since about ten square meters of pasture should fall on one such bird.

    If you prefer not to buy, but to rent such a room, this pleasure will cost you a decent amount, about two hundred thousand rubles a month. As for the purchase, the costs will be from one and a half million rubles to five million rubles.

    If you have your own site, try to organize a poultry house on it yourself, which will be suitable for life and reproduction. Be sure to "decorate" it with nests, feeders and good drinkers.

    It is also important to maintain the required temperature, which should not fall below twenty-five degrees Celsius during reproduction.

    Young growth is grown in heated rooms, the temperature in which is maintained with the help of a brooder. Each room should have walls made of materials that can be cleaned and have an average thermal conductivity.

    Some types of birds must have separate rooms. It is very good if the building has windows or ventilation.

    Staff

    In order for your business to flourish successfully, it is not necessary to hire professionals. There are enough people who are accustomed to work and can cope with their duties with high quality.

    At first, you will need a manager, territory cleaners and an accountant.

    Mini poultry farm

    Remember that from time to time you will have to use the services of a specialist who will examine your birds.

    Purchase of birds

    Before you open a poultry farm from scratch, you need to decide on the purchase of birds. Here it is important to consider what exactly you are pursuing the goals of breeding birds. The most popular species today are geese, chickens and ducks. At the same time, they can be divided into three types: meat and egg, meat and egg.

    If you are interested in meat, pay attention to the following breeds:

    • Cornish white;
    • Plymouthrock white;
    • Brama;
    • Dorking;
    • Faverolles;
    • Langshan.

    As for the egg ones, these are Minorca, Russian Whites, etc. But meat and egg include:

    • Sussex;
    • Livensky;
    • Poltava;
    • Plymouthrock striped;
    • Island.

    About feeding

    You can’t save on feeding birds, as your profit will depend on it. By making the diet "poor", your income will fall several times, as a result of which both you and your birds will suffer.

    The chicken diet should look like this:

    • Grain mixture, which includes three types;
    • Feed of vegetable origin;
    • Corn;
    • Feed of animal origin;
    • Mineral food.

    The largest part should fall on the grain mixture (about forty percent) and ground grain (about thirty percent). And here mineral feed should make up only five percent of the diet.

    IN last days In August, the diet should be revised and made less plentiful, as the process of molting begins in birds. During this period, feeding should be carried out four times a day.

    The duck should consume animal food, grains, plant foods and mineral supplements. But the main food of geese is grass. So, ideally, one bird should eat about one and a half kilograms of greenery per day. Be sure to give them shells and chalk.

    Weight gain and fertility

    If you breed hens of egg breeds, be aware that in the first year they give from two hundred and twenty to three hundred eggs, after which this figure may decrease by fifteen percent. Weight adult is from one and a half to two kilograms.

    Topic Tips:

    Ducks delight with eggs much less often, you will get about one hundred and eighty of them a year. However, in fifty days their weight will be about two kilograms, and closer to autumn, the weight of an adult duck, together with its brood, can “give” about a hundred kilograms of meat.

    Geese produce about thirty eggs, but their egg production increases with age. From one bird you will collect about five kilograms of meat and six hundred grams of fluff. Litter per day will be about one kilogram.

    Remember that birds need males for breeding, they need to be acquired healthy.

    The documents

    Before you open a poultry farm from scratch, you need to correctly draw up the documents. This business is registered as an LLC.

    In this case, it is necessary to obtain a sanitary permit, for which the following documents are required:

    • Technological map of production;
    • Certificate of tax registration;
    • A document confirming the right to own a land plot;
    • Extract from the USRIP;
    • A copy of the registration of your business, the conclusion of the SES;
    • The contract is duly executed on the removal of garbage collected on your site;
    • bti plan, project documentation etc.

    Obtaining this documentation is milestone, which cannot be bypassed, as this will be a violation of the law, which will entail liability. On average, you will have to spend about fifty thousand rubles for paperwork.

    Poultry breeding as a business

    Any business that an entrepreneur starts from scratch starts with an idea. Owning a poultry farm is a great option because agricultural products are in high demand.

    Such a thing - poultry breeding as a business has several advantages:

    1. Feathers are easier to raise than livestock;
    2. A natural product is a guarantee of human health;
    3. Poultry meat is considered dietary;
    4. Not only meat, liver, but also feathers (down), bones and even droppings can be used in the case.

    Before starting a poultry farming business, you should think through each step of the action (draw up and analyze a plan). The next step is to find money: earn money, find an investor, own savings.

    Choosing a bird according to the purpose of the business

    There are two types of poultry farming:

    1. Incubation of chicks;
    2. Raising poultry for meat.

    The following can be said about the first: it is necessary to wait for the appearance of the chicks, and then implement them. Age can be different: from one day to almost one month.

    There is a profit from such an occupation, but it is less than, for example, from the sale of poultry for meat. Here the matter is much more complicated. In general, when starting to think about choosing one or another type of domestic birds, it is important to consider the following: the climate of the region where the poultry farm will be located; features of the bird - the conditions that will need to be created for it (room, pasture, food). But one question is still not answered: What kind of birds is better?

    Home poultry farm

    The practice of breeding geese shows that they are the most unpretentious domestic birds.

    Here are their benefits:

    1. Almost no disease "takes" them. Even if an illness happens to them, the geese are still less at risk that the disease will lead to death;
    2. The conditions of detention are important, but here the main principle is as follows - cleanliness and order;
    3. More about the diet. All they need is enough grain and grass. In rare cases, geese need additional vitamins;
    4. The necessary weight for sale is gaining quickly, which cannot but please farmers;
    5. Almost everyone can afford the products of this bird.

    If we talk about chickens, turkeys, ducks, then breeding their broiler breeds is also relevant. Here you can even draw up a business plan based on the combination of certain breeds of birds, as a rule, geese with ducks, and chickens with turkeys.

    Breeding quails, ostriches and pheasants will make the business more profitable. Caring for them will be more expensive, but it's worth it, because the reason for this is a very useful product that will be in demand among those who especially monitor their nutrition and health.

    The documentary side of the issue and the choice of premises

    The business of creating a poultry farm requires a certain package of documents. Of course, due to the difference in the types of birds, there may be some differences in the documents, but, in general, they are about the same.

    This is a document on the registration of the farm, veterinary certificates and quality certificates, permission to transport. The document on registration of such a farm is important, because it makes it easier to get all the rest.

    Countryside - the best place for poultry breeding, so the business plan should be drawn up with this requirement in mind.

    The economy is not in the right place right now. best light: the villages are full of farms that for some reason do not work. It is they who can become great option to start. Renting such premises will be cheaper, which is important for a novice farmer.

    It must also be remembered that approximately one adult female (male) accounts for 1 sq.m., and there must also be room for chicks, equipment, workers, and so on. In addition to all this, you definitely need a paddock and pasture.

    Complete set of poultry farm

    The business plan for creating a poultry farm contains such an important item as equipment. Breeding poultry is impossible without cages, incubators, heaters, containers for food and water, cleaning equipment, and so on. The Internet is a source of any information, so a video on how a poultry farm works can be easily found on the global web and, so to speak, clearly see what and how.

    What initial number of pieces should be included in the business plan in order for poultry farming to become a profitable enterprise in the future? The best option about 1000 pieces, but even a smaller number, for example, 600 is also quite likely to give good "fruits". Here you need to focus on financial opportunities.

    In this way, a competent approach to poultry breeding can bring income even after the first year of operation of the enterprise.

    In this case, the business plan should be as detailed as possible, taking into account all the nuances. You should carefully prepare for the creation of a "bird" factory: read specific literature, watch videos on the Internet, consult with experienced poultry farmers.

    A little about documents

    Room area

    The area of the poultry farm depends on the number of heads in the herd. For example, for 10 pieces of young stock, you need about 1 sq. m. area of free space. As you know, it is better to keep small chickens, and, accordingly, grow them in cages. A business plan for a chicken farm should include a clause that young animals are best placed in cages of this size.

    Necessary equipment

    1. Perches.
    2. Incubators.
    3. Fans.
    4. Tapes for egg collection.
    5. Cutting tables.
    6. Cells.

    Feeding

    It is important to remember that in daily diet chicken should be - at least 80% of the grain of the total percentage of feed. One adult bird needs about 120 grams of feed and 1 glass of water per day.

    Business plan for creating a poultry farm: what needs to be considered

    This is sample data. So, if there are 500 chickens, then the reserves of feed and drink per year will be approximately 21,900 kilograms and 36,500 ml of water. As for 200 hens, then, of course, the costs will be more than halved. Feed will be 8760 kilograms per year, water - 14600 ml.

    Poultry productivity

    There are many different areas of entrepreneurship that a business plan considers. If, for example, there is a penchant for farming, then you can try to open a mini-poultry farm. The most common birds for this business are chickens, geese and ducks. The business plan of a poultry farm, namely a chicken farm, is drawn up taking into account the following features: compliance with the conditions for breeding and living chickens, proper feeding, appropriate care, and so on.

    Depending on how many heads will be in the herd (contains a business plan), the required area of \u200b\u200bthe premises and walking areas, the amount of food, drink, and so on are determined. With the help of simple mathematical calculations, this can be calculated. The optimal number of heads in the herd is 500 chickens, and less, for example, 200 chickens. Of course, it is clear that if the number of birds reaches up to 4000 pieces, then a very profitable business can be organized.

    A little about documents

    Once your plan is drawn up, you need to start implementing it. To do this, you need to register your business with specific authorities, that is, determine the organizational and legal form. Also, in order for the products to be freely supplied, for example, to the market, it is important to obtain certificates from a veterinarian.

    It is also desirable to conduct an examination of eggs and meat (the business plan should provide for this). To carry it out, you need to bring a couple of eggs to the laboratory, for example. The procedure is inexpensive, but it will help to obtain quality certificates, therefore, this product will be in demand. For best sales you should conclude contracts with local printing companies - come up with beautiful and informative packaging for your product. It will be effective advertising.

    Room area

    The area of the poultry farm depends on the number of heads in the herd. For example, for 10 pieces of young stock, you need about 1 sq. m.

    How to open a poultry farm

    free space area. As you know, it is better to keep small chickens, and, accordingly, grow them in cages. A business plan for a chicken farm should include a clause that young animals are best placed in cages of this size.

    A small calculation (business plan):

    • For 200 small chickens, 20 cages of 1 sq. m.
    • For 500 chickens - 50 cages of the same size.

    As for adults, in this case, the size of the mini-poultry farm is determined as follows:

    • One adult chicken accounts for approximately 1 square. m. premises.
    • For 200 chickens, approximately 200 square meters will be needed. m., and for 500 - respectively 500 sq. m.

    Do not forget about the walking area. It is especially relevant in summer periods. Chickens love to bask in the sun, enjoy the warmth and sunlight. The business plan should take into account the fact that birds need free territory and open air.

    Basic requirements for the premises

    The business plan for a chicken farm should contain a clause about the requirements for the premises. It should be, as it turned out above, spacious, with a sufficient amount of incoming light. Ventilation is also very important, but it should not be a draft. Fresh, clean air must enter the chicken coop.
    The finishing of floors and walls should be done in such a way that later these same walls and floors can be easily cleaned and put in order. Also, one should not neglect the biothermal treatment of the entire room and even the equipment located in it. These procedures will prevent the emergence and spread of diseases among chickens.

    Necessary equipment

    A business plan for a chicken mini-farm cannot do without an equipment item.

    The following equipment and tools will be recorded in the expense column:

    1. Naturally, these are feeders and drinkers.
    2. Perches.
    3. Incubators.
    4. Fans.
    5. Tapes for egg collection.
    6. Cutting tables.
    7. Refrigerators for carcass storage.
    8. Cells.

    You can make cages for chickens yourself, or you can take ready-made “boxes” from another poultry farm, and absolutely free. In extreme cases, if it is not possible to use either the first or second options, then there is always the opportunity to make cages to order.

    Feeding

    The items included in the mini-poultry farm plan should be especially scheduled if they are feeding. It is important to know how much Money need to spend on feeding the herd. As noted above, the optimal number of pieces for a mini-business to flourish is 500 heads. From here you can also consider the amount of feed you need in kilograms.

    It is important to remember that in the daily diet of a chicken there should be at least 80% of grain from the total percentage of feed. One adult bird needs about 120 grams of feed and 1 glass of water per day.

    A mini-business in terms of poultry breeding can have several directions. After all, chickens can be raised to be sold for meat, eggs, or both. The high productivity of poultry is about two years. Further, chickens can be sold for meat.

    In the first year of its life, one hen can bring a little more for 200 eggs. If there are 200 heads in the herd, then by multiplying it turns out that 40,000 eggs is the “yield” for the year. If there are 500 birds, then the "yield" will be 100,000 eggs.

    Not all mini-poultry farms that are created survive the initial stage. There can be many reasons for this fact. For example, a sudden illness of a bird or insufficient care due to ignorance. In any case, in order to achieve the desired success, it is necessary to carefully study the relevant literature, communicate with familiar farmers, and so on. Only then can a well-thought-out document be written.

    A chicken farm business plan is an important foundation at the beginning of a farmer's entrepreneurial journey. According to this document, it is initially possible to independently serve a chicken farm. A little later, when more work has accumulated, it is worth paying attention to gaining necessary personnel, but only one that understands "the topic".

    Project Description

    According to the ministry economic development in the coming years, the consumption of poultry meat in Russia will only increase. Import of poultry to our country in last years began to decline, which means that the activity of producers on domestic market will grow. The profitability of poultry production according to various sources reaches 60%.

    Despite the growing competition in the market for the production of poultry meat and chicken eggs, a properly organized mini-poultry farm is a profitable business.

    Step-by-step opening of a mini-chicken farm

    • Determining the size of the future farm (for 500 head, 1000 head, etc.);
    • The choice of premises and equipment for the future farm;
    • Search for suppliers of young chickens;
    • Feed base planning;
    • Choice of project financing sources;
    • Studying the technology of poultry keeping.

    Consider the example of opening a mini-poultry farm for 1000 birds. It is assumed that the premises for the business are already ready and the cost of its construction is not required.

    Funding sources can be

    1. Participation in state program support for start-up entrepreneurs - “Grant to start your own business”. The amount of the subsidy within the support is 300 thousand rubles. The agricultural business is considered a priority, so the chance of getting support is high;
    2. Participation in the program of state support for farmers. The chance to receive support in this case is less than in the first option, since existing farms are allowed to participate. However, the amount of support is about 1.5 million rubles;
    3. Participation in preferential credit programs. Some banks offer loans to agricultural organizations at a low interest rate (from 12%);

    The main costs of opening a poultry farm

    In total, the initial investment for the start of the project, taking into account the availability of premises, is 295 thousand rubles.

    Information about the enterprise. Activity registration

    At the stage of drawing up a business plan, it is important to decide on the organizational form of the future farm. The best option when choosing a legal form, it will be a peasant farm (IP). This choice due to a small package of documents and minimal cost for activity registration. The most profitable tax regime for agricultural producers, it is considered the UAT (single agricultural tax). IN this case the tax is 6% of the profit. The only condition of the UAT is that according to the results of the calendar year, 70% of the gross income should be income from the sale of agricultural products.

    If you plan to build a farm on your own plot, then the land must be registered in accordance with the type of permitted use. In this case, the land must be intended for agricultural use. Moreover, a mini-poultry farm must be located at a distance of at least 300m from residential complexes in accordance with SES standards.

    Production plan

    A mini-poultry farm can work in several areas:

    1. Production of poultry meat and chicken eggs with the subsequent sale of finished products to the population;

    2. Installing your own incubator for growing young birds (chickens).

    At the same time, it is advisable to keep the following breeds of chickens:

    • Egg laying, "Leggorn" or crosses of egg breeds. Differ in good precocity, the average egg production of chickens this direction up to 200 eggs per year;
    • Meat, these are the breeds "Cornish", "Brahma", "Kokhinhin", cross "Cobb 500" (broiler). The live weight of adult roosters reaches 5 kg, chickens up to 3 kg.4. Production plan

    In order to save space, cages can be installed in 2-3 tiers.

    Cells can be made independently or purchased from the manufacturer. The price of 1 cage for 5 heads starts from 2000 rubles.

    If it is planned to reproduce the poultry population on the poultry farm, then it is advisable to use Russian equipment- incubator ILB -0.5M. Incubator will mix 770 chicken eggs. The period of incubation of chickens is 21-22 days.

    It is assumed that meat and egg breeds of chickens will be kept in equal proportions, 500 heads each.

    The planned output of finished products of the mini-poultry farm per 1000 head. in year:

    • Bird meat direction(broiler) reaches its slaughter weight on average on the 50th day. Accordingly, up to 6 generations can be grown in 1 year. In total, about 3,000 heads or 9 tons of poultry meat will be grown in 1 year.
    • The bird of the egg direction on average produces up to 200 eggs per year. Accordingly, in 1 year, 500 laying hens will bring up to 100 thousand eggs.

    Poultry rearing technology

    One of the main principles of the proper keeping of poultry is to maintain a favorable microclimate in the room. Chicks and grown-up hens should be kept in different rooms due to the difference in the required heating and lighting regime. For example, day-old chicks need to maintain a temperature of 34 degrees, while 60-day-old hens need 18 degrees.

    With cage keeping for growing young animals in the first 3 weeks, it is recommended to use round-the-clock lighting. As you grow artificial lighting reduced to 17:00.

    In the diet of feeding chickens, it is necessary to include grain, feed of plant and animal origin, flour mixtures, as well as feed rich in vitamins and easily digestible protein. 5. Organizational plan

    To support all the working processes of the poultry farm, including bird feeding, egg collection, slaughter adult bird etc. a minimum of three employees is required.

    Staffing schedule:

    marketing plan

    The main competitors of the poultry farm will be large poultry farms that have their own points of sale of poultry meat and eggs. As a rule, such enterprises maintain a relatively low level of prices and have already big base regular buyers.

    1. Sale of products in the "outbound trade" format in places with high traffic, for example, in markets;
    2. Delivery of products to outlets nearby areas;
    3. Sales of products directly from production to wholesalers (read the article about poultry rearing for a restaurant).

    Ideally, you need to install your own points of sale (pavilions or kiosks), but this requires large production volumes and completely different investments. You can find out more in the article: How to open a profitable butcher shop».

    One of the competitive advantages is that the products of the mini-poultry farm are grown in "home" conditions. Meat and eggs have good quality and this is definitely a big plus.

    What certificates are needed if you travel to trade outside the area

    For the transportation of products within the region, all products to be sold must be accompanied by veterinary certificates of the form N 4 "on the clinical examination of the bird." These documents are drawn up and issued by bodies and institutions included in the system of the State Veterinary Service. Russian Federation at the location of the enterprise. 7. Production plan

    It should be noted that with a certain rotation of the meat and egg direction, you can achieve higher business profitability. For example, to grow 700 meat heads and 300 eggs. This is a full-fledged ready-made business plan that you will not find in the public domain.

    How to increase your chances of success even before the start of the project

    Before finally deciding which direction to choose in the field of breeding, we suggest that you pay attention to other business solutions. It is better to invest a little time and a small amount of money into a detailed study of your niche now than to regret a missed opportunity or a hasty decision later. Doesn't the business of opening a poultry farm suit you? Then other ways of investing are suitable for you, for example this method car income or real estate. Whatever business you decide to do, you will need good business plan.

    In this material:

    If you think over and draw up a competent business plan for a poultry farm, find wholesalers to sell products, then an entrepreneurial business will bring stable income. Drawing up a business plan is best entrusted to professionals who understand this matter. They will tell you how to organize a poultry farm so that it pays off as quickly as possible. If the business plan of the poultry farm is compiled independently, you need to know all aspects of this production.

    Documents for registration of business

    Before you start your business, you need to register it with the relevant state structures. For proper and legal activity, you need:

    1. If the poultry farm is small, then you can register as individual entrepreneur at the tax office.
    2. Get a certificate of state registration.
    3. A lease agreement or a document confirming the ownership of the building in which the bird is planned to be kept.
    4. Conclusion of the sanitary station.
    5. A certificate from a veterinarian and a certificate of conformity for the poultry trade.
    6. BTI plan.
    7. Agreement with waste disposal companies.
    8. Ventilation communications project.

    For registration of all required documents it takes a lot of time and money. You can entrust this to companies that are professionally involved in paperwork for business.

    If there is land plot, then you can build a building on it. Although it will be more economical to buy a ready-made room. It will only need to create conditions for keeping the selected bird species. There should be no drafts that can harm the young. The room should be spacious and dry. The choice of place depends on what kind of bird you plan to keep. If ducks or geese, then it is desirable that there is a reservoir and a pasture in the adjacent territory.

    The temperature in the building for adult geese should not be below 5 °C, for young animals - 26 °C. There are several basic requirements for the room in which the geese will be kept:

    1. The space needs to be heated, for this it is installed heating system or technique - brooders.
    2. The room should not be too cold or hot.

    A certain number of young animals can be placed per 1 m²: 4 caterpillars, 3 ducklings, 2 turkeys. If you are going to open a poultry farm, you can pay attention to such a bird as a quail. For her, you can choose a smaller room, as these birds are grouped in flocks. Different types of birds must be kept separately from each other.

    Indoors, you need to provide drainage. For the cultivation and successful breeding of birds, the room is equipped with nests, feeders and drinkers. Walls and floors should be easy to clean from litter. The floor is covered with bedding made of straw or sawdust. There must be manholes to walk the bird regularly. To ventilate the room, windows and a ventilation system should be installed. If there are a lot of birds, long feeders are installed, as are drinkers. It is best to immediately purchase vacuum or automatic drinkers, it will be much more profitable. So that the birds don't get sick infectious diseases cleaning and disinfection should be carried out regularly. The floors are cleaned of litter, perches and nests are treated, and the entrance to the room is watered with disinfectant solutions.

    After choosing a suitable room and creating in it necessary conditions, you need to find suppliers of high-quality young birds. To do this, you first need to decide which bird will be grown. Most popular species rearing birds are ducks, chickens and geese. They are divided into 3 groups:

    • meat;
    • meat and egg;
    • egg.

    The best egg breeds of chickens include: partridge leghorns, Russian whites and minors. Langshan, white Cornish, Brama, Plymouth Rocks are considered meat. Meat-egg breeds: Poltava, Livensky, Pantsirevsky, New Hampshire. When compiling a business plan for a poultry farm, this must be taken into account.

    The most common breeds of ducks:

    • Beijing, the fastest gaining weight;
    • clay;
    • gray and black white-breasted.

    The lightest breeds of geese: Kuban, Gorky, Chinese. Medium breeds include: Tula, Shadrinskaya, Italian, Arzamas. The largest: Tuluza, Kholmogory, Emzemsky, gray. The price of young animals depends on the breed and age of the chicks.

    When compiling a business plan, you need to make the first purchase of young animals in 500 heads /

    If you plan not to buy young birds, but to breed on your own, you will need incubators. If you have the necessary skills, incubators can be made independently. The farm will be able to bring additional profit if you sell young animals.

    Bird feeding

    In summer and autumn, feeding geese is not a problem; they can eat grass in the pasture and pasture. Young birds can be supplemented in the evening with grain or compound feed. Duck is an omnivorous bird, in the warm season they feed mainly on greens. It is better to feed the bird with specialized compound feeds to satisfy all the needs of growing young animals.

    Quails need to be fed most often - 3 times a day. From an economic point of view, this is not very profitable. Feeding chickens in August should be more varied, because this is the period of molting. For fattening birds, you need to make a complete diet.

    Feeding ducks should include animal feed, water, grain, grass and mineral supplements. IN winter time in the diet of the bird should be grass flour and root crops.

    The business will quickly pay off if you sell not only food products, but also down, feathers and bird droppings. Personnel will need to be hired to clean the poultry farm, feed, slaughter and butcher the bird carcasses. Workers must have experience, especially in cutting and slaughtering. There must be a minimum of 3 people.

    Sales of finished products

    After organizing a business, you need to take care of where to sell finished products. The sale should be well established, because meat and eggs have a short shelf life. You need to study the market well in advance.

    Goose, for example, is very popular in winter, before new year holidays. Best selling broiler chickens.

    Sales should begin with an offer of cooperation to the management of supermarkets, shops and cafes. You can additionally open your own stalls in the markets or small shop. If fresh and high-quality goods are sold, regular customers will appear who will tell their friends about the manufacturer. One more good option- wholesale sales. In this case right amount carcasses are cut, packed and, after checking by the veterinary service, delivered to the buyer.

    If you correctly draw up a business plan, poultry farming will become a profitable business and will quickly pay for itself. However, there is a small drawback in poultry farming - the need to pluck a large number of birds, especially if there are wholesale buyers. If possible, you can purchase special devices for plucking carcasses, but their cost is quite high. Alternatively, you can provide the plucking service to other farmers, then the purchase of the device will quickly pay off.

    In the future, the business can be expanded, which means that additional profits can be obtained.

    Egg business. How to build a mini chicken farm and make money selling chicken eggs. How to properly raise and maintain chickens and make a good profit.

    A home poultry farm, with the right approach to business, will bring you a stable income all year round. In this article, I will share my own experience and talk about the features of keeping, feeding and breeding chickens in household.

    .

    How to open your business on eggs.

    The idea of raising chickens for meat and egg production and subsequent sale came to me when I visited the market. The bulk of the eggs on the market are poultry products, and only a small proportion of domestic eggs are obtained from home-grown chickens.

    Eggs of chickens kept at home are much healthier and tastier, they have a bright yolk yellow color, they do not contain all sorts of additives that are stuffed with chickens in poultry farms. Domestic chicken eggs on the market are always sold more expensive than factory-made birds, and there is always a demand for them, especially in winter, because with the onset of cold weather, domestic chickens stop laying eggs, but if you create suitable conditions for chickens, then egg production will not decrease at all.

    Chickens can be kept in two ways: - walking, (chickens move freely in an aviary) and in cages like a poultry farm. To obtain high-quality domestic eggs, keeping in cages is not suitable, for egg production, chickens will have to be stuffed with additives and vitamins, vaccinated, besides, the death rate of chickens is noticeably greater, so it is better to keep chickens in spacious enclosures.

    Sections of boards in the form of boxes for nests are attached to the wall, a little hay bedding is placed in each box. The chicken coop should have a small window for daylight; for the winter, the window is additionally insulated with a film on the outside. It is necessary to conduct electricity in the chicken coop, install a socket and a light bulb for additional lighting, the socket will be needed to connect the heater when the temperature in the chicken coop drops.

    It is better to concrete the floor so that mice or rats do not start; concrete can be covered from above with pieces of plywood or rubber. Particular attention should be paid to the litter, it must be prepared for the winter with a margin; sawdust, hay, dry leaves can be used as litter.

    You can also install a potbelly stove in the chicken coop, to save energy costs and heat the chicken coop during severe frosts.

    Choice of breed of chickens.

    There are three types of breeds of chickens: - egg, meat - egg, and meat. Since our goal is to receive maximum number eggs, then we will stop the choice on egg breeds.

    The Russian White breed has proven itself very well, on own experience I will say that chickens of this breed are very mobile, actively eat food, start laying eggs at 4 months of age, the egg is large white color, for the year the chicken lays up to 300 eggs, the Leggorn and Isobrown breeds have also proven themselves to be good egg-laying.

    I really liked the breed, Loman - Brown, the bird has a fawn color, starts laying eggs at 4.5 months of age, good egg production is 250 - 300 eggs per year, the egg is large Brown color has an excellent presentation.

    Purchase and maintenance of chickens.

    The number of chickens can be purchased at the poultry market, but it is better at the poultry farm, where the chickens are already vaccinated and, moreover, you can be sure that you are buying exactly the breed that you were going to purchase. Cardboard boxes are suitable for transporting chickens; small ventilation holes are made in the upper part of the boxes for air to enter so that the chickens do not suffocate. At home, chickens are transplanted into more spacious boxes, the stocking density of chickens is not more than 50 pcs. per 1 m 2. A litter lies on the bottom, a thick fabric is best, the box is partially covered with a cloth on top.

    For heating, you can use electric bulbs with a power of 100 watts, they are installed on top of the box so that they do not touch the cardboard walls. The temperature in the boxes should be maintained at 29°C for the first week, gradually reduced to 26°C on the 10th day, then gradually reduced to 18°C. Chickens are fed - millet, fine wheat groats, greens, boiled chicken eggs, fish waste. Water in drinking bowls should be clean. Grown up chickens in warm weather are released into enclosures for a day.

    As the young grow, they are moved to a chicken coop equipped with feeders, drinkers, perches, nests, the floor should be covered with bedding (sawdust, leaves, chopped hay).

    Chicken feeding.

    The main feed for chickens is compound feed. There are many methods of feeding chickens, but we must remember that it is impossible to save on the quality of feed, otherwise it will affect egg laying. Chickens react very poorly to food changes, so it is better not to change the composition of the feed drastically. The main composition of compound feed is wheat and corn grits, the rest feed additives- sunflower cake, bone meal, chalk, etc. You should also give green food, grass, food waste from the garden, in winter period you can give germinated wheat.

    Chickens of egg breeds begin laying eggs at the age of 4-5 months, at first the eggs will be small, by 6-7 months the hens will lay marketable eggs. The cost of chicken eggs in the winter period increases significantly, and even more so for domestic eggs, since there are practically none, because with the usual content of domestic chickens in cold period stop laying eggs.

    But with the right content, chickens will lay eggs in the winter. So, in order for chickens not to stop laying eggs in the winter, you need:

    • Insulated chicken coop without drafts
    • Additional heating (electric heater, potbelly stove, or other type of heating)
    • Additional lighting (not very bright, 100 cotton bulbs are enough)
    • Warm bedding on the floor (change when bedding gets wet)
    • Complete mixed feed and vitamin complementary foods (sprouted wheat)
    • Clean and warm water in drinkers
    • Walking an aviary near the chicken coop, protected from the wind

    These are the basic requirements for keeping chickens in the winter, the rest of the experience is gained in the process.

    You can sell the products of your mini poultry farm on the market on your own, rent to wholesalers, deliver to shops and cafes.
